"Angels With Wings In Other Worlds...Your Wings Will Find You, Deanne (Deangel)" is the latest creation from my collection of "Portals To A Better Place." I just dropped a reel showing the process behind this piece for you to check out.

This painting is a tribute to my friend, Deanne Hastings, who disappeared almost 10 years ago. There have been no answers and it is an active cold case. The 27th of this month would have been her Birthday. Deanne always called me her Wings, and I will continue fighting for her...even though I know in my heart she has moved on to another world.

In creating “Fucked,” I wanted to depict the toll of algorithm-driven content and the constant chase for that next dopamine hit. What was once a space for connection and creativity now drives us deeper into an addictive cycle of mindless scrolling, ads, and the relentless pull to stay connected. It’s about how life has stopped imitating art and instead has begun to mirror the internet itself.

For me, this piece is a reflection on how technology shapes our daily experiences and an invitation to step back and ask: Are we still in control?
