(Side note: I do hope I'm not overselling my AU, I'm just super excited lol! I promise I really do love all of yours too!!!)

Frank: Alright canon Frank n Furter, please prepare to meet the most absolutely vile person you've ever met in your life!!! Yeah, my Frank is... an absolutely TERRIBLE person and while canon Frank isn't OVERLY concerned with caring about other people and is also a murderer, my Frank would most likely scare him because he is just THAT god awful!!! He wouldn't be so twisted as to do a lot of things that my Frank does, especially the stuff that my Frank does to my Riff Raff!!! Sure he hates him and he whips him, but even he would draw the line at a certain point!!! It could TOTALLY be a Christmas Carol "SPARE ME THESE TWISTED VISIONS I'VE LEARNED MY LESSON!" type scenario!!! (I'm actually laughing my ass off thinking about that right now LOL) He'd also be more than a bit concerned with my Frank's skincare routine!!! Not washing your face regularly is bad enough, and canon Frank clearly does masks as we see in the floor show, but not having had full face makeup off for over 20 years is... not safe or healthy!!! Same with heels, which my Frank has only taken off for baths and whatnot!!! Simply put, my Frank is a disgrace to the Frankenfurter community and canon Frank would find him to be in equal parts a terrifying, disgusting, and confusing specimen, and he may very well try to kill him!!! And he is not wrong!!! (Also they're both interested at the one chance of fucking their clone but that one's just a given)

Brad: Canon Brad would be SO confused by my Brad!!! He'd be both a bit jealous and a bit socially intimidated by the way that my Brad has started to lighten up with his color scheme and wear different styles of clothing!!! He would potentially ask my Brad, "what's a bisexual?" But he'd feel really happy to see how happy he and Janet are together!!! And then... we have the elephant in the room! Columbia!!! Canon Brad would be like "aha... what?" At the knowledge that there is a version of himself that is in fact Columbia's half brother and my Brad would be like "I know buddy, I was shocked too!" And it'd be an experience!!! But canon Brad would be VERY relieved by the fact that that version is not him!!! It would be the greatest weight off of his shoulders!!! He'd also be completely terrified of the fact that he winds up as doubly a citizen of Earth AND Transsexual!!! A place that he would like to never go!!! He wants to be free of this place and discovering that there is a version of him that is in fact now related to so many of these people is more than a bit frightening!!! All in all, canon Brad would definitely like some stuff about my Brad, but he would NEVER trade lives with him!!! Ever!!! And hey, my Brad winds up really happy too, so it's all good!!!

Janet: canon Janet would be a bit impressed by and made nervous by the way that my Janet becomes so confident in her sexuality and in dressing more suggestively but with a cottagecore aesthetic!!! She'd be afraid of it and also desire it!!! Also, she'd think that being a nurse is a sweet and WONDERFUL way to live and also that giving out stickers to kiddos is SO much fun!!! She'd LOVE talking about that!!! Then she'd learn about how my Janet had to help my Riff Raff, who it turns out is through two marriages and an adoption her cousin, detox in a MASSIVE way, and all of those "hey that might be nice!" thoughts go RIGHT out the window!!! She does NOT want to be in that situation and now she has no idea WHAT to think!!! On one hand, she's absolutely TERRIFIED of Riff Raff and she does not want to be near him when he's in such a state!!! But on the other, she's so incredibly amazed with the way that there's a version of herself that saved somebody's life!!! That wasn't something she thought she could ever do!!! But she is glad that that is this other version of herself and not her!!! She'd also be shocked by the Earth and Transsexual double-citizenship, and not at all desirous of that in her own life!!! All things considered, her reaction is pretty similar to her Brad's reaction!!! She really likes some things, but she would NOT trade places in a heartbeat!!! And again, mine is really happy so it works out perfectly!!!

Riff Raff: AAAANNND HERE HE IS!!!! My Riff tends to be an absolute ANGEL so... canon Riff would LOVE some things and absolutely DESPISE some things!!! Oh lord, first of all, he'd be terrified and miserable for what my Riff Raff has been through and he'd empathize as much as he could, though he wouldn't say too many words about it, like my Riff Raff would!!! He'd also be a mix of happy and bitter to learn that there is a DIFFERENT version of him that became king of Transsexual!!! He'd also be kinda bitter that my Riff is NOWHERE NEAR balding and has such long, shiny, and lovely hair and has also managed to quit drugs!!! My Riff would be so understanding and gentle and it would irritate the living hell out of canon Riff!!! He'd be SO fucking jealous of that AND the fact that he and Magenta have such a wonderful mother that was literally REVIVED!!! But there are DEFINITELY some things that he WOULDN'T like!!! First and foremost and in the biggest way being that he is NOT looking to have a single baby of his own, let alone FIVE!!! He doesn't mind the idea of a wife, though!!! Also, he would... not be anywhere near as overjoyed as my Riff was to learn that through his mother's unofficial adoption, Doctor Scott was his grandfather. He does NOT need that!!! Also, just... being related to Brad, Janet, and Columbia as well as Doctor Scott is purely a bad thing in his eyes. All in all, he wants to be king, to have hair, and he's not slap happy about his drug addiction... but he's even LESS slap happy about having kids!!! Especially if they're calling Doctor Scott their great grandfather and on HIS side at that!!! In the end, he wouldn't want everything that my Riff has, but he'd be really inspired by everything that my Riff has and it'd help him believe that there's a happy ending out there for him, too!!! And my Riff would encourage him, and quite possibly irritate the living hell out of him in the process, but hey, it's all good!!!

Magenta: These two would get along quite well and they could DEFINITELY have a good time together!!! Canon Magenta would LOVE the idea of being queen and she'd absolutely laugh her ASS off upon learning all of the ridiculous things that the citizens call my Magenta, with "Your Royal Sexyass" being a favorite!!!! They would both ADORE that one!!! They would totally have girls nights and do each other's nails and hair. Canon Magenta wouldn't really care too much about the fact that my Magenta is related to all of the Earthlings now, and she'd find it pretty amusing actually!!! It's not what she needs or wants herself, but it's HILARIOUS for her to think about!!! She'd also find it hilarious that my Magenta walks straight into sliding glass doors. And she'd TOTALLY be on board with the fact that my Magenta is an assassin!!! She would find that part AMAZING!!! All in all, she'd kinda find my Magenta to be pretty damn funny!!! It's just so far from the life that she lives that she doesn't feel weirded out by it!!! And the two of them are able to enjoy each other a LOT!!!!

Columbia: Canon Columbia would be more than a little bit freaked out by the fact that my Columbia is Brad's sister!!! It's definitely the first shock that she gets!!! She, like canon Brad also gets the "I know, girlypop! I was shocked, too!!!" She'd ask enough questions to confirm that this is NOT also her situation, and then she'd calm down. And then she'd learn that this other version of herself possesses the magic power to transform into a fire engine red mouse and she'd be even MORE shocked!!! She'd be so confused!!! At this point, she has no IDEA whether she's jealous or not!!! Once upon a time, she would've been relieved to have been born normal, but now she's definitely not so sure, considering that she's hanging out with a bunch of aliens!!! The two of them would probably get along pretty well, though! And canon Columbia would really like the way that my Columbia becomes a rock singer herself!!! But she's not so sure about the rest!!! She loves the others, but she's not sure that she could ever make that final push to be related to them all!!! They'd also share a lot of Eddie stories and help each other work through some things!!! All in all, it'd be a pretty good time!!!

Rocky: BEST FRIENDS! BEST FRIENDS! BEST FRIENDS! BEST FRIENDS! BEST FRIENNDSSSSS!!! Yeah, canon Rocky and my Rocky would have a FANTASTIC time together, ESPECIALLY considering the fact that my Rocky stays dead and therefore is REALLY similar to canon Rocky!!! They share ALL of the same interests and can talk to each other so well!!! It's a FANTASTIC time for the two of them!!! They love each other SO much!!! It's absolutely the GREATEST!!! The main difference between canon Rocky and my Rocky is the deep dive into how his creation affected OTHER characters, and they are both BLISSFULLY unaware of EVERYTHING about that!!! In both versions!!! The two of them would wrestle, play superheroes and bad guys together, play with Legos and watch movies together, and just have so much fun!!! It'd be SO much fun and they'd both love it SO much!!!

Eddie: Again, these two are really similar in most ways!.... but they would have some VERY interesting conversations!!! Primarily, while we do see a ring on Columbia's ring finger in the movie, we don't have confirmation as to whether or not they were married, my Eddie is DEFINITELY married to Columbia!! Canon Eddie would enjoy the fact that they eloped and told absolutely NO ONE!!! It'd absolutely make him howl with laughter and that'd DEFINITELY go on his bucket list if he hasn't already married her!!! Secondly, and also about Columbia, canon Eddie would be very confused by the question, "at what point did she tell you about the whole mouse thing?" Thankfully, due to knowing and trusting canon Columbia and the fact that this situation is already the weirdest fucking thing that has ever happened to him, canon Eddie is definitely able to confirm without checking in that his Columbia DEFINITELY cannot turn into a mouse!!! Either way, they'd sing a lot of rock songs together, share jailbreak techniques, and have a really great time!!!!

Doctor Scott: So he uh... he wouldn't disrespect him, but he might ask a few questions, the first of which is "hey what the hell is your thought process in life?" Canon Doctor Scott is FULLY shocked by the way that my Doctor Scott has his priorities and why!!! He is COMPLETELY speechless at the fact that my Doctor Scott got abducted decades prior AND wound up adopting an alien child who THEN gave him alien grandchildren who just so happen to be Riff Raff and Magenta!!! Canon Doctor Scott feels a MASSIVE sense of "loyalty towards Earth" and really doesn't understand a decision like that!!! Nor does he understand why my Doctor Scott chose to go BACK to that place and it takes some SERIOUS convincing to prove that it isn't Stockholm Syndrome!!! He's really confused about a lot of things and it's HILARIOUS!!! "But you must feel so out of place, there!!!" "Actually my grandson is the king!" "..." All in all, he wouldn't disrespect my Doctor Scott, but there might be a little sense of "traitor" that runs through his veins!!! But it isn't that bad and they're pretty chill!!!

The Criminologist: My AU doesn't actually have a Criminologist at this time, but if it did, it would go like this!!!.... so like... imagine the craziest gossip session that you have ever seen in your LIFE!!!! These two would milk absolutely EVERYTHING out of each other!!!Simultaneously asking each other SO much!!!This isn't just at the level of middle school gossip, this is a gossip session so powerful that it could put an early 2000s movie with a main cast of teenagers to SHAME!!! So much shame that they all simultaneously exlpode!!! This is a level of gossip so intense that it could charge a BATTERY!!! And it is going both ways!!! They are spilling everything to each other and this is confidential information- they would make a pact beforehand to not tell either of their bosses and that would get them both fired immediately!!!! Which cannot happen!!! But they must tell each other EVERYTHING and NOT BLINK ONCE!!! It's the most remarkable night of their lives!!!! And it would be even better if ANY your Criminologists for your own AUs shared too!!! They'd become so powerful!!!

WC: 991 Rating: T CW: prescription drug use, and slight accidental abuse of prescription drugs. Tags: No Upside-Down au, idiots to lovers, slight enemies to lovers, hurt/comfort, snuggles, minor angst, seasonal rather than xmassy. Summary: When Steve breaks his arm, Dustin persuades Eddie to give him rides to work. Eddie does not expect his icy jock-despising heart to be melted.

Eddie pulled up where Steve waited on the sidewalk, his arm swaddled in a cast and sling. Steve’s face was ashen as the skies, which spewed out the first snowfall of the season.

“Get in,” yelled Eddie, rolling down the van window.

Steve obeyed, bringing with him an icy gust. “Thanks, man. I appreciate—"

Eddie pumped up the stereo to max and accelerated off, wheels skidding in the slush.

He was helping Steve because Dustin had begged. Steve, obviously, couldn’t drive and his work-shifts at the amusement arcade were similar to Eddie’s at a bar farther up the road. Eddie would’ve refused anyhow, till he learned how Steve got hurt—confronting nasty-ass bullies who’d been hassling the out-and-proud ‘freaks’ at the arcade. Son-of-a-bitch was treading on Eddie’s turf!

“He didn’t actually lose the fight,” Dustin said. “He slipped on ice while winding up for the crit-hit.”

“It’s Harrington,” protested Eddie. “Doesn’t he have dickwad friends to drive him?”

Dustin sneered, like this was the dumbest suggestion ever. “None of us are old enough to have a licence.”

Now, Eddie peeped sidelong, wary. Steve boogied along to Aerosmith in an eerie foreshadowing of a ‘dad-dance,’ fingers drumming the dashboard.

“Cool track,” shouted Steve.

Eddie’s teeth grinded. Ugh, Harrington wanted to chat? Eddie turned down the volume eventually, because Steve’s voice was scratchy, and… he wasn’t the worst company. Eddie could genuinely believe this guy—despite his bitchiness about denim vests—might defend geeks from a cohort of a-hole jocks he used to belong to. On the ride home, Eddie found himself glancing in the rearview mirror to watch Steve giggling at his dumbass jokes. In fact, they might’ve crashed into a snowdrift, if Steve hadn’t shouted then one-handedly grabbed the wheel.

They’d been riding together a week, when Dustin called asking Eddie to fetch Steve home early. Eddie now drove Steve regularly, even when their shifts didn’t coincide. Steve tumbled into the van wearing pink earmuffs and cackling his damp-flattened hair off. Apparently, Steve had accidentally taken a double-dose of pain meds, though not enough to be in danger. Eddie didn’t ask where the earmuffs came from, silently conceding they looked cute.

Oh. Fuck.

At Steve’s condo, Eddie helped him up the stairs, studiously avoiding clasping Steve’s butt. Shame he couldn’t ogle that in the rearview mirror. Steve groped Eddie’s ass shamelessly, which was forgiven in the circumstances. He fumbled so long to find his key that Eddie almost jimmied the lock.

“Wanna stay for a beer?” asked Steve, half-tripping through the door.

“I’m driving, dude.” Eddie grabbed and steadied Steve, who slammed him with huge puppy-dog eyes, which Eddie managed to ignore. He was absorbing the mouldy walls, the frost on the fucking inside of Steve’s windows. He’d known Steve had struggled since his parents threw him out. He’d not expected this:

“Jesus, Harrington, no heater?”

“No need. I usually get toasty in my hot-tub.” Steve snorted, rolled his eyes. “It’s broken, mom.”

Eddie almost dragged him home to the trailer. Instead, he failed to fix the heater then figured he’d have that beer. Steve, mega-keen to fetch it, stumbled beside his understocked fridge, then collided face-first into Eddie.

Again.

“Ow!” Steve shifted the pressure off his cast. Eddie grunted at the strain of having dead-weight Steve in his arms. Meanwhile, Steve’s glazed eyes focussed into lasers that seemed to pierce to Eddie’s soul:

“Thanks,” mumbled Steve, as warmth blossomed between their tightly-pressed bodies. “Honestly never thought you’d help after… y’know… High School… stuff. I couldn’t have got by without you and… um… I like you?”

Steve’s teeth pinched his lower lip. Eddie mirrored him, found himself dying to kiss him, while staggering disbelievingly over the words formulating in his head:

Disturbingly, I like you too.

“You feel that?” Steve exploded into fresh giggles, destroying the moment. “Electricity, Munson. Pffffzz!”

Riiiight. He’s high as a Guns ‘n’ Roses gig. 

They collapsed onto the fold-out bed, huddling beneath a blanket and arguing over what movies they’d watch right now, if they could afford VHS players. In the morning, Eddie awoke spooning Steve. The frost inside the window was patterned like snowflakes. He smiled into Steve’s hair, despite the fact his nose and toes were kinda numb.

This time, Steve’s groan shattered the moment. “Uuuuugh, sorry ’bout yesterday. Jesus, hope I’ve still got a job. Only got hired for being the sole applicant.”

“You’ll be fine.” Even Keith admitted Steve endured the kids and noise in the arcade valiantly and was injured in the line of duty—as a kickass babysitter and bouncer. Besides, if Steve was fired, Eddie would make Keith pay.

Eddie borrowed tools from Wayne, and they fixed the heater together. Things remained awkward-ish for a day or so, before normal car-share buddying resumed. They exchanged some loaded glances, but Harrington was still Harrington. If he was into Eddie, he’d make his move, give some kinda sign.

Then Dustin dropped his latest bombshell. “It’s cool you’re still giving Steve a ride. I mean, since he’s had his cast removed.”

Huh?

Next day, Eddie asked, casually, while driving, “You still need that sling, Steve?”

Steve blushed cherry-red and came clean. He’d sold his car last week, because he was behind on rent. He’d pay Eddie for gas and more, if Eddie could keep driving him.

“I guess I lied, sorry, though my arm’s still pretty sore. It’s just… I…” Eddie drew up outside Steve’s. Steve sighed hard, turning away. “I really do like you.”

“Feeling’s mutual.” Eddie reached to coax Steve back around, two fingers on Steve’s reddened cheek. Their clouded breaths mingled, and Eddie grinned like an idiot. “When you were high… Yeah, I felt that dumb crackle, too.”

The brush of their lips felt more like lightning. They made out for so long that snow grounded the van, forcing Eddie to stay the night.

And every night, till they moved somewhere better together, with a decent heater and endless shared warmth and snuggles.

Part 1

“Hey, Teddy Bear!”

Eddie quickly scans for the voice piercing the buzzing swarm of paparazzi outside his home. It’s a cold winter night, yet after his public outburst with Robin a week ago and the ensuing onslaught of viral videos, they never seem to leave. Attention that used to have him feeling on top of the world now only leaves him feeling like the scum of the earth.

The overtly personal nickname rings through his memories, filling him with hope and dread in equal measure.

If I’m your baby, Eds, then you’re my Teddy Bear.

A swath of red hair and a high fade catch his gaze against the light snowfall. The boy’s usual charming smile’s been replaced with a cold stare, while she’s actively scowling. Eddie rushes through the crowd, excited to see them after so long despite the circumstances. He pulls them into the safety of his home, slamming the door behind them.

“Did you honestly think Steve was the only person you abandoned?” Max asks, before Eddie can even say hello.

Abandoned. A low blow, throwing Eddie’s childhood in his face, at least before he was adopted in all but name by the Wheeler’s. But coming from Max, he thinks maybe it’s fair play. She’s always been more Harrington than Mayfield, Lucas too. Out of the bunch, they’ve always been Steve’s kids.

“Mike had to go back to therapy! Nancy actually cried,” she spits, pacing the foyer while Lucas stands stoic by the door. 

“I didn’t think they’d-” Eddie starts before he’s interrupted.

“What? That your family wouldn’t be upset, feel as betrayed as Steve?” Lucas finally speaks up. “So when you bragged about outgrowing your roots, that wasn’t supposed to mean us too?”

Eddie shrinks in on himself. He’s being admonished in his own home, and he knows he deserves it. He knows, truly. He just can’t handle the overwhelming aches of guilt and regret, which pang louder with each disappointed loved one. Another reminder he’d surrounded himself with people who only care about Metal Munson. 

He’s foolishly desperate to win back his family, people who loved him for himself. He wants to be Eddie again. His baby’s Teddy Bear.

“What-” he tries again, forcing words around the growing knot in his throat and watery eyes. He’s cried so much lately. “Why are you here?”

Max eyes him skeptically, glancing at Lucas and sharing a look Eddie can’t decipher. They make a silent decision, and she moves to stand by her husband at the door.

“Steve’s getting married this summer,” she states, like it’s nothing. Like it’s not the end of Eddie’s world.

The tears fall, then. He loses control of a sob before he gets his voice back. “To who?” he pitifully asks, pretending he actually wants to know.

“You don’t know her,” Lucas replies.

Her. Her. Herherherher.

“Oh,” Eddie says softly. He can’t stop shaking, or is the earth quaking beneath him.

Max sighs, sympathetic, and rips his world open further still.

“Steve wants to talk, but you’ll have to get through Nancy first.”

looking at herself in the mirror, [y/n] eyed the large sapphire necklace sitting on the supple skin of her chest, the heavy weight of her long hair evenly distributed around her head. the corset was tighter than usual, but she had grown used to it from the long training hours she was forced to endure. the blue eyes of the man she had seen again haunted her day, feeling them watch her when she stood in the same room with him, her heart beating wildly as she tried to shake off the feeling of hopelessness. she wanted to talk to him again, wanted to see what he was like after years of not being with him, wanted to have him hold her as he whispered that everything was alright, wanted his smell linger on her clothes. 

she didn’t notice the tear in her eye until it hit her cheek, her hand reaching up to immediately dab it away, not wanting to destroy the makeup on the handmaids took her time on, taking a deep breath in order to calm her heartbeat. she stood up, ready for her wedding.

eddie remembered when he asked her about the traditions of a russian wedding, wondering if they were the same as american counterparts, but quickly realizing that russian weddings tend to be grand and exciting.

“our marriage would only be legal if we register it at the zapis aktov grazhdanskogo sostoyaniya,” [y/n] had told him one night. “usually people do it before the ceremony so they have more time for the fun things. and at the ceremony, crowns will be placed on our heads. the crown is usually placed in by the priest, and is usually held in place by family or friends while we stand on top of a rose colored cloth. then games are played. It’s all very fun and can actually last a couple of days.”

the first day of the wedding was the actual ceremony.

eyeing the man at the end of the aisle, the now tsarevna [y/n] tomanov held her uncle’s hand, a smile broadening acros her lips. eddie seemed a little nervous, not liking the idea of being in front of such a large crowd, but knew he had to begin getting used to it as the impending knowledge of him being tsar of russia loomed over him like a dark cloud. he was a simple american man stuck in an expansive country as the love he held for their tsarevna kept him there. she had given him a manor home in both england and the united states, an escape from royal life so that he may go and clear his head. 

but not only was there those manors; they had the livadia palace in the crimea, which [y/n] and her family had spent their summers in, the winter palace that was their main residence, and many other palaces that had been the homes to her ancestors. the doors open, revealing the tsarevna in her beautiful white gown, dark green trim showing all of the layers of the skirt, the neckline, the hem of the sleeves, and the sash loosely wrapped around her right shoulder, the rest landing softly on the skirt of her dress. soft floral patterns lined around the green trim, complementing her features perfectly. eddie gasped as he watched his bride come closer, a large smile spreading across her lips as she stared at him as if he were the only thing in the world, the only rope that tied her to this place. 

the traditional vows were said, crowns were placed on their heads (which eddie found out they were tsar nicholas ii’s and tsarevna alexandra’s imperial jewels) and the ornamental glasses were smashed (another thing that was counted to be luck for a long-lasting marriage), and the two spouses followed the priest around the lectern (thrice) as they held each other’s hands tightly. 

the second day of the wedding consisted of a roadtrip.

they visited many important landmarks, such as visting the peter vassilevsky island to touch the 4000-year-old egyptian statues and stone griffons, or to the new hermitage portico and rub the toes of the marble atlanti statues, all for good luck on their marriage. “you know i love you, right?” eddie whispered into [y/n]’s hair, carresing her bare shoulder as they cuddled in the master bedroom of the imperial train, her warm skin pressed up against his. 

snow drifted slowly to the ground, covering the grass in a cold, white blanket, reminding you of the lullaby your grandmother used to sing to you when you were much younger. “i know,” she pressed a light kiss to his lips, her thumb brushing against his cheekbone, forehead pressing against his. this was something you longed for all your years spent in that orphanage. 

someone to love, hold, cherish. 

“and a song, someone sings once upon a december,” eddie’s resonant voice sang from the comfort of olivia’s room, brushing away the small tendrils of hair that stuck to the side of her face. “someone holds me safe and warm,” you continued, putting your chin on eddie’s shoulder. so many years had passed since the two of you were married, and many began speculating if either of you were infertile, most of which directed at you, all because you were a female. but luckily, olivia came along one hot june morning, screaming as you cried from your spot in the bed. it had been such an intensive labor and now she was here. “horses prance through a silver storm,” eddie’s voice joined yours, his hand holding your cheek softly. “figures dancing gracefully across my memory.”

“someone holds me safe and warm,” you wrap your arms around eddie, holding him tight against your body, eddie moving his hand to take yours in his, his free hand grabbing onto olivia’s. “horses prance through a silver storm,” the days of you and your family going on horseback rides during the heavy snowfalls flashed through your mind; it was one of the best feelings you ever experienced in your early life. the cold wind biting at your cheeks, the laughter and smiles passed around warmed your insides. “figures dancing gracefully across my memory,” the balls your father threw, the many people wearing heavy gowns and sparkling jewelry dancing around the floor, skirts skimming the floor and coattails flying up. 

“far away, long ago, glowing dim as an ember,” you were reminded of your time in the american orphanage, the troublesome nights of the small flashes of memory, the longing for a life you couldn’t remember. “things my heart used to know, things it yearns to remember.”

“and a song someone sings,” you looked out the window, placing a hand on your growing belly. “once upon a december.”

So like, a lot of AUs redeem Frank and make him good and I just wanna say right off the bat that this is absolutely not one of them XD. I built him based off of the question, "how can I make this man such a god awful monster that he absolutely NEEDS to die right then and there at the Floor Show and he needed to go long before that?" XD

I put his story under a cut so I can give trigger warnings first!!!! BUT REST ASSURED I AM SO THRILLED TO TALK ABOUT HIMMM!!! :DDDDD

TW for stuff about drugs, physical and emotional abuse that begins when Riff is a minor, some of it having to do with sexual repression, sexual coercion and abuse, and just overall this man being a piece of work!!! If I missed one, I am so sorry in advance!!! Please let me know and I'll add it

But anyways let's keep this upbeat!!!

(Also a lot of his notable acts were directly linked to Riff so there is admittedly a good amount of him in this post, but it's ALL about Frank's acts and the affect that he had on others!!!)

So let's start at the very beginning-

Once upon a time, in what Earth years would either call 1939 or 1940 as I don't have a full on birthday for him at this point in time but he was 35 at the time of RH, Queen Tologovta Furter was fucking a bunch of people at a good ol Transylvanian orgy and one of them managed to knock her up!

She was quite pleased, and never discovered who the father was as she did not actually give a fuck and basically gave an announcement saying that, "if you respect your queen, you'll keep your mouth shut if it's you!" and she was so fucking dangerous that nobody ever said shit and turns out Frank looks a lot like her anyways so who's to say?

Don't let this fool you, as Frank would never grow to give a shit either!!!!

Basically, from the moment he came out of the womb he was spoiled rotten to the point that he lost any and all sense of anybody else's humanity. Everyone else became an ant to him, and he was fully a monster. Tologovta was always a monster as well, but she was really viewing him as an extension of her glory. Something that neither of them ever truly cared enough to notice!!!

Riff Raff and Magenta were born when he was eight years old, and by that time, he was a full on nightmare!!! People would whisper behind their backs that that kid was already terrifying!!!

By the time he was ten, Riff Raff and Magenta's mother Soline would be out of the picture for the rest of his life, and he got himself a set of two year old servants!!! Who, might I add, were only born because Tologovta fucked with Soline's birth control in order to get Frank servants! (Though rest assured, the two of them were so, SO loved!!!)

He put them to work in whatever ways that he could IMMEDIATELY! Though of course, they increased drastically in actual abilities in the following years, but still, he put two year olds to work!!!

As the years went on, he only got more hormonal and angry, and a few practices fell into place!!!

He started wearing makeup PERMANENTLY and not taking it fully off EVER and barely ever taking his heels off around this time when he was between 10-13)

Frank also started the practice of pardoning himself of crimes around now!!! A practice he would continue for the rest of his life!!!

He discovered a few things as well! The first of which being that he, thankfully, couldn't hurt Magenta that bad given that she made his food and he needed her to be able to do that!!!

And here we begin the Chronicles of Riff Raff™️, who we will discover suffered the greatest chunk of Frankenfurter induced suffering by FAR!!! Riff, unfortunately as fuck, recieved NO such luxury as his sister did and a HUGE of Frank's awful acts were directed towards him!!! The physical abuse, which he learned from watching his mother torture Riff's mother, started when Riff was around six. It got progressively worse as the years went on as Frank knew that it would be a hindrance to him if he damaged Riff permanently, so as his body grew, so did the abuse!!!

Also around this time Frank learned how to trick and or coerce LOTS of people into sex with him!!!

Eventually, by the time Frank was 21, the high council, the one branch of government who can rarely, oh so VERY rarely veto the monarchs got wind of this, and were able to at least manage an order that, if Frank was going to do this to Riff, he had to give Riff painkillers afterwards!!! This was a win!!! Right??? RIGHT????

Well actually Frank didn't want to buy painkillers so he said to himself, "street drugs will do."

And in one of his most infamous acts (dun dun DUUUUNNN), Frank ended 13 year old Riff's next horrible torture session by grabbing him and force-feeding him one (I'm not sure which yet, but it's one of the BAD ones)

And as we know from our Elementary School "Say no to drugs!!!" courses, there are some drugs that we must never try even once because some of our bodies are predisposed to addiction, and while genetics can definitely be a clue, there's no way to actually know if yours is one of them!!! And unfortunately this kiddo had one of them!!! in a HUGE way!!! In just one night, Frank had FULLY forced 13 year old Riff Raff into an absolutely horrible addiction!!! (Again- Frank is 21 at this time!!!)

Now for many people this would be a wake up call! They would think to themselves, "oh fuck, I have just forced an actual 13 year old into a dangerous addiction after beating the shit out of him. What kind of a monster am I?"

But, come on! This is FRANK we're talking about! And he was absolutely ecstatic at this development.

First of all, everyone had been remarking the way that Riff had been beginning to grow into his mother's beauty, and this could play a huge role in stopping that development! There was only room for one gorgeous, rather fem presenting male in the house, and it was him!!!

But more importantly, he could now withhold and then force these things and have Riff Raff under his thumb even MORE so than he already had!!!

So Riff Raff was scared out of his mind and GENUINELY worried that he might be about to die, had NO clue what was going on or what he'd just taken, and was screaming and crying for Magenta who truly had to help him manage to walk back to their room because he was too overwhelmed to walk without assistance, and Frank was absolutely OVERJOYED and already thinking about what he might do next!!!

Needless to say, this carried on to other drugs!

Every time Riff Raff would cry, scream and beg Frank not to do it, not to make it happen again!!! Unfortunately, he could never stop it, and his body was VERY unlucky and he just kept getting addicted to more and more and more!!!!

Frank fucking LOVED this!!! He thought he was a genius for this idea!!! He always knew he was, but now he had proof! He'd force drugs and laugh!!! He'd withhold drugs and laugh!!! He'd play a sick and twisted game of peekaboo and laugh!!! He'd get him high and then turn the lights on too bright and give him a raging headache and laugh!!! Feel free to add more, everybody!!! And, rest assured, he would laugh

He also came up with the idea to find a way to make Riff Raff wear clothing that he couldn't take off in order to prevent him from masturbating for even MORE laughs!!! In my AU, the average Transylvanian has a sex drive that averages around 8 TIMES that of the average human!!! It's the reason that sex has been so destigmatized there, and, rest assured, this level of repression is making Riff Raff QUITE ill!!! He was stuck grinding against tables and he was so desperate he would cry!!!! Frank found this HILARIOUS, especially because he was getting hookups like he was Victor Hugo at the brothel!!! Obviously, he wasn't able to make this a permanent state of affairs and he was only restricted for so long, but still it was quite miserable!!!

While they were on Transsexual and even while they were on Earth, Frank nearly made a bunch of decisions that would throw the planet into a MILLION different forms of ruin, only being stopped by Riff who was able to manipulate him into thinking that he shouldn't make these decisions for material reasons!!!

In preparation for going to Earth, which Frank did solely for fun and because he was SO curious about fucking humans, he heard about the Igor trend and he thought it an excellent idea. He forced Riff to wear the hunch because of it! As seen in the Floor Show- it isn't actually real!!!

On Earth, Frank used his anonymity to manipulate the absolute SHIT out of people!!! He wasn't a prince here, so he could do whatever and whoever he wanted!!! He could pretend to be in love with Earthlings just to get sex and attention out of them!!! Columbia and Eddie both fell victim to this!!! He thought it was SO much fun to have someone fall in love with him and go on to someone else. However, he got VERY pissed because he assumed that he was so perfect that they'd just keep loving him regardless and he'd just have a train of Earthlings who'd die for him!!! And then Eddie and Columbia fell in love and MARRIED EACH OTHER and he couldn't show it to save face, but he was SO mad!!!

Frank thought that he was a megagenius and an incredibly skilled performer and he is in fact neither and a complete and total idiot! Natural selection would've hit him a LONG time ago were it not for Riff Raff and Magenta!!! One time he fully suggested, "I say we just put all the food in the oven and leave it on overnight! That way we'll have everything cooked for ages!"... yeah, everyone had to say, "but then we'd be stuck with leftovers" to get him out of that one and stop him from killing them all!

He's nowhere near genius or talented artistically, but Riff is

The scientific part of that becomes blatantly obvious when it's time to build Rocky, and Frank TOTALLY thinks that he's a genius for coming up with the idea and for making Riff Raff do all the work!!!

And he had TERRIBLE reasons for wanting Rocky.

See, everyone has sexual preferences, what they like and don't like and Frank could never exactly do everything that he wanted and they never looked exactly how he wanted them to look.... hence the idea for Rocky! Someone who'd do whatever he wanted and who looked exactly like he wanted him to look, and would never actually hurt no matter what Frank did so that he wouldn't cry and ruin it for him. Basically he wanted a sex slave who wanted nothing more than to be a sex slave.

Frank didn't respond well when Riff Raff absolutely begged him not to make him do this!!! He didn't say why to save his own skin, but he couldn't bare the idea of this, or the fact that this could basically lead to eugenics if it wasn't kinda that already, and he wanted so desperately to say the quiet part out loud that Rocky would be a child!!! Frank wanted to do these awful things to a baby!!!

Frank saw Riff Raff LITERALLY sobbing at his feet, whipped him, and then threatened to kill Magenta if he didn't do it!!! A threat that he made a few times before in the past, but not enough times to make Riff get used to it and stop listening, (jokes on him though because that would have ALWAYS worked!!!)

So he got Rocky out of that one!!! And on top of that, that TOTALLY added to the Riff torture as he felt like a horrible person for doing this, even though it wasn't his fault!!! Also he was given a chunk of Eddie's brain by Frank who cut it out himself and then carefully positioned the motorcycle to make it look like a crash so that was something!!! And this was a completely unnecessary act of violence because those were brains that Riff could have made himself and didn't even need!!! Frank still did it though, because he was impatient and wanted to get revenge for Eddie and Columbia's love!!!

The cycle of abuse towards everyone he met continued and got worse and worse until the events of Rocky Horror!!! In which we all know what happened!!! In my version, I definitely follow the canon of the scene in the live show where Columbia jumps in front of the lazer to try and save him and he calls her a stupid bitch!!! Afterwards, he isn't revived but his part to play isn't quite done!!!

Obviously, everyone who he damaged is FUCKED UP because of him!!! Columbia is a widow at 25 and an absolutely devastated one at that, Riff is still addicted to drugs and terrified out of his mind, Magenta is still terrified out of her mind as well, and Brad and Janet still have a lot of work to do discovering themselves in a healthy way!!!

First, bodies killed with that kind of lazer can be revived if still intact, so Riff and Mag had to put him through the meat grinder, which worked splendidly!!!

But most importantly, it's discovered that he made a VITAL fuck up!!!

A vital, beautiful, wonderful fuck up!!!

Here's how the laws of servitude work.

It's not "slavery" because you have to "pay" them and there has to be a way for them to "quit" but it's ENTIRELY possible to make this impossible for them and for them to never get enough money to get anything for themselves and who even said you have to pay them with money at all? You could pay them with chewed skittles if you want!!! Most servants don't even KNOW what their payment is, so Riff and Magenta aren't expecting anything at all!!!

But Frank was an idiot

He, thinking that they could never outlive him ever, made his payment, "when I die they shall inherit everything."

He. Was. Dumb.

The council realized this, and they realized that Riff had been saving the planet from complete and total ruin for years now AND he was born first in this set of twins!!!!

Point is, by Frankenfurter's idiocy, Riff Raff is heir to be king of the planet as soon as the gang manages to kill the equally evil Tologovta, who, for the sake of everyone else, does NOT find out about her son's death!!!

I realized a while ago that Frank's torturous relationship with Riff Raff is a metaphor for autistic oppression in a way!!! (Though I absolutely love the Frank has autism HC in most versions I promise!!!) He looks absolutely perfect and Riff Raff looks like a freak, but that's only because Frank is forcing him to look like a freak!!! It's a metaphor for how people look perfect and uphold the standard of "us" by enforcing the fact that there must be a "them"!!!! Their physical appearances are a metaphor for everyone else's perceptions!!!

It's only after Frank dies that Riff, (who is absolutely autistic in my AU) manages to stop his dangerous cycle of habits, and once he looks and is healthy again, he's absolutely gorgeous!!! He's truly beautiful, but Frank would never let him or anyone else know that!!! They can only see it when there's enough love and kindness provided to bring it out!!!

i like to write for it as a cool down or like a palate cleanser and it’s self-indulgent as FUCK!!!!!!! i’ve been hemming and hawing about throwing it to the wolves and making them choke on its bones but i haven’t the courage yet (and/or i just may never do it at all bc i guess it can be considered a lil Controversial, a thought i could be blowing out of proportion but i dont’ wanna deal with any pushback either alidfghsoidg oh my hardships)

Eddie’s Thursday Night Forecast – 1/4/18

A strong low is going to move through the Province tonight into Saturday. It’s going to bring snow, rain, wind and possible coastal flooding as it rolls through over the next 24 to 48 hours. Here’s what we can expect:

  Across Newfoundland snow will develop this evening (within the next couple hours for most) and quickly become heavy at times. As the snow arrives, the winds will pickup and travel conditions will deteriorate very quickly. The snow will last for several hours, before changing to rain, through a period of ice pellets or freezing rain. The changeover will happen around 10 PM for southern areas, around midnight for much of the Avalon, and a touch later for central and the West Coast. The Northern Peninsula will see the snow hang on into Friday morning, before the change to rain and/or showers. Snow amounts for many areas will be 5-15 cm. The Northern Peninsula could see amounts up to 30 cm.

  Temperatures start below freezing tonight, but will rise above freezing by Friday morning and will stay there for several hours on Friday. Friday will be windy, with scattered showers… but also some sunny breaks. Hopefully it’s enough sun to melt the snow without having to shovel or snow-blow it!

  Winds will be highest overnight into early Friday morning on the Island. Most areas will see gusts near 100 km/h tonight, before slowly dropping through Friday. There will be some exceptions! The Wreckhouse area will see gusts as highs as 180 km/h late tonight or early Friday morning. Areas of the West Coast, from the Codroy Valley to Near Stephenville / Port au Port and then from Parson’s Pond to the north side of the Bay of Islands, will see gusts of 130 to 150 km/h. That’s nothing to sneeze at!

  The forecast for Labrador is a bit more straightforward… snow will develop tonight and continue into Saturday morning. It will end by early Saturday afternoon. Winds will be in the 40-70 km/h range, which is enough to cause widespread blizzard conditions. From the Straits to near Cartwright, the snow will end as drizzle tomorrow afternoon. Snowfall amounts look to be near 30 cm for most areas, with higher amounts possible near Nain and around Churchill Falls.

Sneak Peek: Angels in the Underground

This story is an AU where, rather than monsters, all of our favorite Underground dwellers are Angels, and Frisk must fight her way through seven trials to escape.))

She didn’t reply immediately, and the skeleton let his gaze drift upward to watch the small flakes of snow drift silently to the ground around him while he waited. All these years and he’d yet to figure out how it managed to snow in the underground; an eternal puzzle that would likely confound him until judgement day finally came around, assuming it didn’t pass them by entirely in their exile. Maybe it had already happened and they hadn’t even noticed here in the little purgatory Sans himself had long since considered a private hell.

Finally, Toriel spoke again, though her question wasn’t one he had expected. “How is your wing, Sans?”

The seraphim’s shoulders tensed reflexively at her words, and for a moment, Sans could only sit in silence as the snow fell around him with tiny, crystalline clinks that felt loud as thunder. Eventually, he started to breathe again, and gave his shoulders a practiced roll that unveiled the vast, pale wings that marked him for the angel he was.

The wing that sprouted from his right shoulder was broad and strong, longer than his four foot nine inches in height many times over. Its feathers were a soft, luminous white that made even the virgin snow at his feet appear gray by comparison. The left, though just as long, was a charred ruin made only more tragic by the untouched beauty of its counterpart. What feathers remained along its length were marred by a black ash that could not be washed away. Only those nearest his spine retained their former healthy luster, untouched by the misfortune that had ruined the rest.

Sans stretched both wings to their full extent, stirring eddies of snow around him with every careful movement. He bit back a grunt of discomfort when pain inevitably lanced through his ravaged limb, compelling him to relax them once more.

“same as ever,” he told Toriel, the white lights that served as his eyes dimming some as he spoke. He rolled his shoulders again, and his wings vanished from sight, tucked away where the ever present pain was less immediate. It never truly faded, though, not once in two-hundred years.  “still looks like a reject basket of fried chicken wings,” he joked half-heartedly, though he knew Toriel hated when he did so about his own handicap.

To his surprise, though, his fellow seraphim didn’t chastise him as he was accustomed. Instead, in a soft, solemn voice he was only barely able to make out through the door, Toriel asked, “Does it still hurt?”

“nah,” he said without hesitation as he pulled his hood up over his bare head to fend off the chill and the thickening snowfall that was beginning to accumulate on his person. The flakes seemed to be growing in size by the minute. “barely even notice anymore,” Sans added.

“Liar,” she murmured, and Sans couldn’t bring himself to contradict her, knowing it would likely only make her angry. When Toriel became angry, she often wouldn’t return for their little get together for days at a time. Once, she’d gone two whole weeks without so much as a word to him, no matter how many jokes he’d made while sitting in front of the door to the ruins.

“well, at least my pants aren’t on fire,” the skeleton remarked.

“I wouldn’t know,” Toriel mused.

#MOSESEDDYHUNT: Der Ozean unterm Mikroskop / The Ocean under a Microscope

(English below) Es schneit, es schneit, ….  Auf den Kap Verden?! Nein, nicht das, was ihr denkt! Die Rede ist von “marine snow”. Also Schnee im Ozean. Das sind herabsinkende Partikel oder Aggregate biogenen Ursprungs, die unter Wasser wie Schneeflocken aussehen und eine wichtige Rolle im Partikelfluss des Ozeans spielen. Diese Aggregate, beispielsweise aus abgestorbenem Phytoplankton, dienen als Transportmittel für organischen Kohlenstoff und bringen diesen von den oberen in tiefere Schichten des Ozeans und haben somit einen direkten Einfluss auf das Klima. Der Kohlenstoff selbst ist außerdem eine potenzielle Nahrungsquelle für das Zooplankton. Bisher haben wir nur ein begrenztes Verständnis dieser sogenannten biologischen Kohlenstoffpumpe des Ozeans. Da es bisher kaum kleinskalige und hochaufgelöste Beobachtungsdaten gibt, wissen wir nur wenig über die Häufigkeit, Zusammensetzung und trophische Bedeutung dieser marinen Partikel.

Während der METEOR-Fahrt M160 ist es unser Ziel herauszufinden, wie sich der “marine Schneefall” unter verschiedenen hydrographischen Bedingungen und vor allem innerhalb von Ozeanwirbeln, sogenannten “Eddies” verändert – und damit der Kohlenstofffluss und das Verhalten des Zooplanktons. In sauerstoffreichem Wasser werden Nährstoffe und Partikel häufig stark wiederverwertet und daher sinken nur wenige dieser Aggregate herab. Unsere Vermutung ist, dass in den sauerstoffärmeren Ozean-Wirbeln weniger Aktivität in den oberen Schichten stattfindet, mehr mariner Schnee hinabsinkt und somit auch mehr Kohlenstoff nach unten zum Meeresboden transportiert und dort gebunden wird.

Um den marinen Schnee rund um die Kapverdischen Inseln analysieren zu können, setzen Wissenschaftler und Ingenieure des HZG eine CPICS (Continuous Plankton Imaging Classification System) ein. Mithilfe dieses neu entwickelten Unterwasser-Kamerasystems können die Dynamik des marinen Schneefalls und Planktons sowie die Kohlenstoff-Exportflüsse in verschiedenen (sub-)mesoskalischenen Wirbeln untersucht werden, ohne die fragilen Partikel sowie das Plankton zu beeinflussen. Die CPICs-Kamera ist an einer CTD-Rosette montiert und nimmt 13 hochauflösende Bilder pro Sekunde von Plankton und Partikeln auf – und das in einer Tiefe von bis zu 6.000 Metern!

Wir haben auf der Fahrt bisher schon Hunderttausende von Bildern gesammelt – und die Wirbeljagd geht noch weiter. Zum Glück müssen wir uns die Bilder nicht alle einzeln ansehen, auch wenn sie teilweise faszinierend und schön sind. Für die Auswertung trainieren wir eine spezielle Software, welche die Bilder dann automatisch in Kategorien einteilt.  

Unsere Beobachtungen tragen zu einem besseren Verständnis der Auswirkungen von (sub-)mesoskalischenen Ozeanwirbeln auf die biologische Kohlenstoffpumpe in einem sich verändernden Ozean und ihrer trophodynamischen Rolle von Bakterien bis zu Fischen bei.

Let it snow, let it snow… Snow at Cape Verde? No, not what you are thinking! We are talking about a special kind of snow here: Marine Snow.

Sinking marine aggregates of biogenic origin, known as marine snow, are considered to play a major role in the oceans particle flux. These aggregates are the major vector for the transfer of carbon from the upper ocean to the deeper layers and a potential food source for zooplankton. However, our mechanistic understanding of the processes controlling the ocean’s biological carbon pump is limited by a lack of observational data at appropriate scales and little is known about the abundance, composition and trophic importance of marine snow.

During METEOR cruise M160 our goal is to observe potential changes of zooplankton behavior and carbon flux in relation to the physical environment and so called eddies. Changes in zooplankton behavior and reduced flux feeding within low oxygen conditions of some eddies might lead to a decrease of the carbon attenuation at the surface and, hence, stronger export (“marine snowfall”) of organic matter compared to the oxygenated waters outside of the eddy.

To achieve this goal scientists and engineers from the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht (HZG) are deploying a CPICS (Continuous Plankton Imaging Classification System), a new developed underwater imaging system to study the marine snow and plankton dynamics as well as carbon export fluxes within different types of (sub-)mesoscale eddies around the Cape Verde Islands.

The CPICs camera is mounted to a CTD rosette and takes 13 highresolution images/second of plankton and particles, the base of the food web, down to a depth of 6000m. We collected hundreds of thousand images so far which are, after training the computer, classified automatically into categories – and the “MOSES eddy hunt” still continues. Our observations contribute to a better understanding of the impact of (sub-)mesoscale eddies on the biological carbon pump in a changing ocean and their trophodynamic role from bacteria up to fish.

Omg hi! So I just like binge read all of your old Riff au OC posts and the characters are amazing! Idk if this problem has been solved but Koketta's (which also, fantastic names, love them) nickname could be Etta (like Etta James) or Ettie (sounds almost like Eddie, so Riff could see it like a tribute to someone who fell at Frank's hand!) Also what's her favorite instrument to play?

I actually did get Etta suggested to me by another moot and I love it SO much!!! I forgot to edit it in XD. But that does mean that now you two can share in the credit!!! Also I love Ettie as well!!! That has EXTRA layers because, since Doctor Scott adopted Soline, (Riff and Mag's mom for all that don't know XD) Riff Raff isn't only naming her after someone who fell at Frank's hand, he's naming her after the cousin that he DIDN'T REALIZE WAS HIS COUSIN UNTIL TOO LATE OMG I LOVE IT AAAAA-

Also!!! Koketta loves to play the violin, drums, and piano the most!!! She can sing while playing them and they all make her feel really energized in a way!!! (I couldn't quite narrow it down to one XD)

She's not at all prone to violence, but, fun fact, it's incredibly easy to tell if she's upset bc she has a certain tone that she plays on the piano and drums that's been named her "Koketta needs to hit things with her comfort instruments" tone XD
