Mark loves everything about you: your wonderful personality and your chubby body. So, when your mind starts blabbering about him not loving you, telling you that, why would a man like him be with someone like you, or he's just with you out of pity, Mark shuts that down. He always reassures you that he's in love with you and that nothing is gonna change his mind about it.

Cuddles, sex, and words of affirmation usually work. He'll eliminate those negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones.

You were optimistic in the morning, much better than you were a couple of days ago. It made Mark's body fill with joy as he watched you being you. So, he decided to take you out, let you choose wherever you wanted to go.

"This is where you wanted to go?" Mark asked, standing in front of the entrance to the high-end lingerie boutique. It made him wonder what you'll look like wearing sexy pieces of lingerie, or even a thong. The thoughts made his core warm with arousal.

"I'm just curious. Just to browse," you replied, pulling Mark into the boutique.

The boutique itself was lavish; it smelled faintly of rosewater and vanilla, and soft jazz music was playing in the background, with golden lights spilling and shimmering across the satin display. Lacy bras, lingerie sets, and thongs hung delicately on hangers while mannequins were in the center of the store, posing with pieces that were popular to buy.

You began to regret your decision, but decided to push that down and just browse. Mark, on the other hand, was like a kid in a candy store, picking and looking at different pieces of lingerie, especially thongs. Mark thinks you would look stunning in these pieces.

"Come on, babe, you'll look amazing in this!" Mark said as he held out a thong, stretching the piece of fabric with his fingers.

"Mark, my ass will literally fall out, its not made for that," you mumbled, playing the hem of your hoodie as your face was red from the thought of wearing that.

"It is most definitely made for this," Mark said, pulling you closer to his body. His hand rests on your hips, rubbing circles into them as he plays with the thong, his eyes shamelessly roam your body as he already imagines you wearing it. Heat blooms in your body, shifting in Mark's touch as he gives that handsome grin.

"Fine..."

"Yes! We're getting this. And the mesh one. And the red and black set over there." Mark said, pressing a kiss on your forehead before going all over the boutique to find whatever would look good.

Back home, you started to try out the pieces Mark brought. You stood in front of the mirror, examining yourself. Instinctively, you crossed your arms over your stomach. The thong clung to your hips, showing every curve and crevice. Negative thoughts began flooding your head, telling you that this was meant for someone else. Someone better. Someone slimmer.

You couldn't look at yourself anymore. It felt disgusting. You squeezed your love handles, you looked at your pudgy stomach sticking out like a sore thumb, and your man boobs flopping on both sides. How could Mark like this? Wouldn't he want someone better? Maybe Eve? She is slim and beautiful, and they're always together.

"Are you done? I wanna see... hey, hey, why are you crying?" Mark said as he stepped into your room, you jumped as your gaze met his in the mirror. There was concern in Mark's voice as he stood beside, pulling you into his arms. You momentarily forgot about everything. It was nice being in Mark's arms... so warm and comforting, but it came back.

"I look... weird. Too much skin is showing, and this extra... meat," you mumbled, as a tear prickled your eyes, your lips quivering. You gestured towards your love handles, squeezing them.

"You think I don't love that? You don't get it, do you?" Mark mumbled as he leaned down and pressed his lips on your shoulder, his other hand moving down to your waist.

"Get what?"

"You don't get how absolutely obsessed I am with you. This body... Your hips, thighs, and ass... everything about you makes me love you more." Mark groans as he gropes and kneads your flesh. His kisses got more persistent as he intended to worship your body, wipe out any negative thoughts.

"Why would you think I was lying, babe? To me, you don't realize how hot you are, and that's only half of what makes me obsessed with you." Mark said wholeheartedly as he continued his ministrations, turning you around and lifting you, it was easy, you weighed nothing to him. He tossed you on the bed after giving some light kisses.

"And before you say it, there is no one else. There's only you." Mark said as he didn't want to hear you degrade yourself more. He cupped your face, pressing his lips against yours. He needed you to feel every ounce of love and affection.

There being actually derogatory words in Hebrew, Yiddish, what-the-fuck-ever is completely irrelevant and unnecessary, it doesn’t fucking matter. Slurs don’t necessarily start as derogatory, their usage changes the connotation and eventually the change in connotation leads to an effect change in the definition and after a certain point that word is now a slur if the world builds up a significantly negative connotation to become or start the process of becoming a taboo work. That’s how words work, their definitions even in separate languages, one borrowing the word more often than not, are altered based on the usage and perception of that word. Race is good example of that, it used to purely refer to a genetic lineage similar something between Family (not the taxonomic rank, the colloquial term) and a Species; it just meant one organism and all of its descendants… which is where its evolution starts, because old-timey Christian racists tried to trace back human ethnic groups back to either Cain and Abel, or Noah’s Sons which is where Race specifically started to get tied to skin color and other physical traits until it goes from a genetic lineage, to what it means today. All words go through a similar process of changing usage or go extinct, especially for concepts that rise and fall in relevance or utility. And again, Goyim/Goy is going through the same process.

speaking of skincare, keep your routines simple. you don't need 12 actives unless they were prescribed to you by a dermatologist (and even then, consider a second opinion please). doing too much will hurt you and your wallet in the long run.

one in one out. i can only buy an item of clothing when i donate or throw away one. this stops me from chasing trends and keeps me mindful of my impact.

limit the number of subscriptions you let yourself have. especially if it's streaming or gaming services. or apps, especially nasty little productivity apps that promise to change your life but are just glorified to do lists charging you $9.99 a month. two or three should be enough.

stop smoking! idc if it's vape, cigarettes or bud. quit. watch as your bank account stops screaming for help.

What are your guy's Dogdays like?

All four of the felines stand there for a moment when accessing that question, only for each of them to give varying reactions.. half positive, half negative. In fact, none of them are looking at the camera.

It seems despite being all technically the same person, the answers still vary from each iteration.

And despite what one would expect, the first person to pipe up about their respective Dogday would be Lavender. His arms are crossed, an obvious blush across his face as he makes a side glance. He then says..

"If I'm being honest, and a little cheeky, he's the light of my life," he adds, his expression becoming a little somber when he thinks about it more.

"..I don't understand how he could love someone so stupid.. it feels like I fell in love with him to make up for the dumb things I did.. especially to him."

It isn't long before Violet answers. Though, it's hard to call it one.. why? Well.. it's because his hands are above his mouth. His eyes are tightened shut, and on top of all that? His blush says all that needs to be..

Instead of uttering words, he just keeps muttering "I love him" repeatedly.

Gemini, however, has a different expression. He seems almost saddened, his eyes shifted to looking at the floor while holding one of his arms underneath the cloak.. almost a bit too tightly. Just thinking about it caused a tear to form in his left eye.. the same eye that seemed to have those claw marks on it.

"How do I put it," he begins, before going into more detail.

By the sounds of that explanation, there are quite a few things he deeply regrets. Regardless, that's all he says, a bit too mournful to say much of anything else.

In the meantime, Plush has their eyes half open, looking at the wall. If they could move their mouth right now? They'd most definitely be frowning. The subject of their Dogday made them a bit hesitant to answer. With a slow blink, their voice is quiet.. trying not to say more than they have to. All they say is..

Following that are the words "..They deserve better." Barring Violet, all of these cats seem to have a bit of a sour spot of their respective sun. It isn't hate.. it's guilt, shame, regret, and perhaps a tinge of denial.

If they could change anything, maybe, it'd probably be something beneficial for their better halves. But who knows?

A Different Take on Mai Akasaki's Secret Quotes

Hello! It's time for me to hop back on my regularly scheduled bullshit! Enjoy!

Since Chapter 3 is currently in development, I decided it was a good time to rewatch DRDT and refresh myself on the content and mysteries we have so far. Obviously, the mother of all Despair Time mysteries surrounds the one and only Mai Akasaki, the seventeenth student.

What do you actually know about Mai? Well, we have a canon design, we have some vague messages hidden in the code, we have a very vague music video starring both her and Teruko, and... that's about it...

There's a lot of assumptions going around about Mai that a lot of people have taken as canon, not realizing how much is complete speculation. It's inferred, but not confirmed, that she's the unnamed student in Min and Xander's bonus episodes, it's inferred but not confirmed that she was a part of some revolution regarding Hope's Peak, etc...

Point being, we have a lot of clues pointing to Mai being involved in the killing game, or at least being a catalyst of sorts for what went wrong with the class, but until the DRDT Dev reveals their master plan, nothing can be taken as 100% fact.

Take the hidden messages, for example.

When you find Mai Akasaki's bio on the tumblr, her "quote" changes every time you refresh the page. Each "quote" corresponds to one of the cast, and if you dig through the source code, the quotes are actually labeled with which student they belong to.

(forgive my bad copy/paste skills, but this is what I'm talking about, for those unaware, this format is the same for every student.)

While the quote above is obviously connected to Teruko, even without the clarification, there are definitely several that are a bit more... subjective... This has lead to multiple different interpretations of what these quotes could mean, such as each statement is Mai's personal thoughts on the cast, or some sort of mockery of the cast's worst attributes or fears. My interpretation is somewhat different, and while someone has likely posted something similar to this before, I haven't run across it.

To me, I think the best explanation for the quotes is that they are what the cast most admire about Mai, or remember her for. You'll see what I mean.

First, Teruko. This is one self explanatory. Some years ago, Mai went looking for Teruko Tawaki. We don't know WHY she was looking for Teruko, and I imagine it wasn't an easy task, given how under the radar Teruko likes to stay. So when thinking about it, it was likely a memorable moment for Teruko, especially if their first meeting is indeed the cross walk scene from chapter 1.

"A girl who loves her family" This is Charles's quote. Charles doesn't say anything negative about his family, but his main plot revolves around him forgetting the existence of an older brother who died under unknown circumstances. We know nothing about Mai's family, but from the LGI music video, where her portrait is referred to as "somebody dearly loved" I imagine that she was adored by friends and family alike, and she returned that kindness in turn. Charles (speculation incoming) might have admired that about her, and thus this is why this quote is connected to him. It was the thing he admired most about her.

"She remembers everything that is important to others." This is Rose's quote. Rose has a photographic memory, so it's easy to equate this quote to be about her, but from the actions we see of Rose in game, while she has an amazing memory, she's pretty nonchalant to what goes on around her. Don't get me wrong, she's still a sweet girl, but "remember's everything important to others" yeah... no... but Mai, see "dearly loved" was as compassionate and thoughtful as she's made out to be, it's an easy connection to make that she'd be attentive to her friends, likely being a soundboard and a confidant. Rose, with her financial troubles and insecurity over her artwork, would likely remember a girl who took the time to listen and check up on her quite fondly.

"A girl who sees beauty in everyone." This is Arturo's quote. Arturo does NOT see beauty in everyone, this is one of the first things we learn about him. Dude's standards for beauty are in the stratosphere. This causes him to be dismissed and disregarded by the cast due to his annoying personality and weird behavior, especially towards J. However, one thing that most everyone agrees about when it comes to Mai is that she would have been friends with the entire class, and that'd include Arturo. It's hard being an outcast, even when it's of your own making. Sometimes, having a stubborn person repeatedly take a sledgehammer to your walls, refusing to leave you behind even if you want to be, means more than anything. If this WAS their relationship, then Arturo would naturally recall Mai as someone who saw beauty in even the harshest personalities, don't you think?

"A girl with a floral tattoo on her arm" This is Levi's quote. Okay, this through me through a loop when trying to equate this to my theory. This is always the odd man out of secret quotes, as there's no way to relate it to Levi. The floral tattoo is intrinsically linked to MAI. Even the popular theory that the cast all have hidden tattoos on their arms falls flat seeing as we can see the arms of several students and there's no tattoo to be seen.

Then, it hit me. This is literally the only theory that perfectly explains this quote. Because Levi doesn't experience emotion. He has no love for his classmates. He does care in his own way, but he's apathetic towards the majority of his classmates' plights, only engaging because he should, not because he wants to. So, if asked to name the thing he most remembers about a beloved classmate, of course this is the kind of thing Levi would say. It's something physical that he can see, admire, and associate with the person with it and them alone. This is the quote that cemented this theory as being likely in my eyes.

"A girl with many friends" This is Whit's quote. Not as specific as many of the others, but still, personality wise, Whit tries to get along with everyone, even breaking down Charles's walls in less that three days. Imagine the power of friendship that'd form in Whit "extrovert" Young and Mai "dearly beloved" Akasaki joined forces. IDK it fits.

"She kept calling the number, even though no one picked it up" this is Eden's quote. (Speculation ahead, you know the drill) This is another confusing one. Some people think Eden is the one calling the number, other's think it's Mai. I, personally, think it's Mai.

Eden's secret quote is about kissing a friend and then becoming worried that it'd ruin her friendship. In storytelling, you don't want to introduce too many plotlines that have no barring on the plot, and this is one that I feel, based on vibes, might come back. If Mai was Eden's classmate, it's likely they were friends, and if they, say, kissed, and Eden freaked out because she was afraid of losing Mai if she wasn't interested, and maybe.... avoided answering the phone even though Mai kept calling to tell her it was alright, maybe because she feared Mai was angry at her, then this would be the first thing Eden would think of when Mai is brought up. The friend she was terrified to lose, and unintentionally drove away. But Mai kept calling the number, because she didn't want to lose Eden either. This interpretation is one of the more "fanon" ones that I'll list here though, so feel free to disregard it.

"She kept it a secret, and told no one." This is J's secret, obviously relating to her being Mariabella's daughter. We see in chapter 2 how betraying J feels when her secret is revealed, she values her independence and privacy greatly, for her to willingly share that tidbit about herself, she'd have to trust Mai greatly. It'd mean the world for Mai to listen, and keep her promise that she wouldn't tell. This one feels as straightforward as Teruko's to me.

"A girl who wanted to keep everyone safe" This is Hu's quote. Hu is a character that needs to be needed. We know this from how she treats Nico and others in game. But who's taking care of Hu? We know Mai is a sort of "therapist friend" from context clues, so I can see her genuinely caring for Hu and showing her healthier outlets for her to express herself than smothering those around her. This was likely the healthiest friendship is Hu's life, by my estimation.

"Everyone confided in her" This is Nico's quote. We know Nico's secret is that they’re non-binary, and that they weren’t ready to come out yet. Nobody in game "confides" in Nico, so the best way I can connect the quote to them is that they potentially became comfortable enough around Mai to come out to her, similar to J and her secret, because Mai would keep a secret.

"A girl who had a bright future" This is Ace's quote. Ace is a character who believes he doomed. His only talent is something that causes him great distress, he has an eating disorder due to the strict weight regulations on jockeys. His body is falling apart and his nerves are in shambles, and he takes it out on everyone around him. For Ace, he's got no escape from the live he's living. But here comes Mai, this girl who has it all together, people love her, and she loves them. She's kind to everyone and is an successful ultimate. She's everything Ace isn't, but she still cares for him anyways. Of course when thinking of her, he'd think of all the things she could do with her live, and the good she could bring to the world.

"She doesn't like it when her friends fight." This is Arei's quote. Arei's entire arc in Chapter 2 is about her wrestling with her childhood and the dog eat dog mentality she adopted in order to survive. She's abrasive and mean because to be soft is a death sentence. Then she gets to Hope's Peak and she meets Mai, a girl who, like Eden in game, shatters that ideology with a sledgehammer and shows Arei a different path. She hates seeing her friends fight, and shows Arei why. Remember, the cast have lost time. Arei could have had a similiar arc when she was at Hope's Peak that she did in game, except with Mai as the catalyst instead of Eden.

"An average girl with nothing special about her at all." This is Min's quote. This, at first, feels way more Min-coded than Mai-coded, but I'd disagree. We don't know what talent Mai had, she's literally the ultimate ???. It's possible that her talent wasn't anything extraordinary seeming like Ultimate Rebel or Ultimate Plastic Surgeon. She could have had a talent similar to Min's, for all we know. Her talent likely didn't have anything to do with why people loved her, and that might've been an inspirating to Min, who was drilled to believe her worth was directly related to her talent. So, while speculative, I believe this can still work.

"She couldn't stand to do nothing." This is Xander's quote. Xander fights injustice on the regular, overthrowing corrupt officials and advocating for those who can't advocate for themselves. He values those qualities immensely, and for Mai to feel the same, that would put her on David levels of worship in his eyes.

"A girl who didn't foresee the consequences." This is Veronika's quote. Similar to Min's, this feels like something someone would say about Veronika over Mai, but I don't agree. On Veronika's page, her secret quote is "Once something is broken, it can never be pieced together in quite the same way again. The same goes for people" and she monologues to Teruko about how she likes horror because of fictional consequences, but that she often worries about real world consequences to actions. That doesn't stop her from being, well, Veronika, but consequences is a theme heavily tied to her. We already established that Mai "couldn't stand to do nothing" but, in conjunction with a quote we'll talk about shortly, I can see all the good Mai did becoming void in Veronika's eyes because on one misjudged action that led to a domino effect, one that I speculate landed the gang in a killing game (more on that later)

"She forgives everyone" This is David's quote. Oh David, my guy. Dude did a heel-face turn in chapter 2, losing the trust of the entire group and ruining in career in one fell swoop. Regardless of whether or not you believe that his breakdown was just another persona, or that this is the one true David, it's likely that he either had a similar episode in Hope's Peak or confided in the Secret Keeper TM about his true feelings about the world. David, who sees the worst in everyone, and believes that he won't be excepted if he reveals his true colors, being excepted by Mai and forgiven in the event that he takes things too far would be an world-shifting event for him in the event that this actually happened. "It's all your fault" This is MonoTV's quote. Oh boy. I highly doubt MonoTV was a student (that'd be weird even for Danganronpa) but for them to have a quote linked to Mai, directly blaming her for something, and we already know Mai couldn't stand to do nothing and didn't foresee the consequences of it, it's likely that the killing game was her fault.

The quote itself reminds me of the secret David got in Chapter 2, the one he claims was Xander's but many believe is Teruko's. I mostly believe the Teruko explanation, but I also have a crack theory I plan to make at a later date that is absolutely insane but might lend credence to David telling "the truth" about who's secret it was.

Remember, that secret was "How could I even select what secret to be your motive? Just about everything you've done in your life is worth killing for. This killing game is all your fault."

There's not a ton left I can say about this without delving into pure headcannon territory.

I. CHRISTIAN WOMAN

evelyn j. noone was an orphan alongside her brother, frederik. their birth parents? dead or alive, who knew. fred doesn’t remember anything, or he pretends not to know, he was too young anyway. the only thing he knows: is that they were placed upon the orphanage doors shortly after evelyn was born. a laughable shitshow if you were to ask both of them.

from a young age evelyn showed artistic talent and skill. up from singing to drawing. art was her passion. any kind of it. it was a gift bestowed upon her. evelyn loved making up her own stories, maybe a talent she’d developed after watching too many broadways and having unrestricted access to the tv and cassette tapes.

fred on the other hand? a trouble maker from a young age. while she was book smart, he was street smart.

lots of parents came to the orphanage and were solely interested in evelyn. but she always declined, she wouldn’t leave fred alone in the orphanage. he was her brother.

that was until alice noone came to the orphanage. she was amazed by evelyn’s talent and with frederik’s rebellious nature. they where adopted in 91’. alice was…unfit for the job as a mom. especially with her treatment of venus, who then went by vincent.

they don’t talk about the few months they spent in her care. if you were to ask, you’d simply hear that evelyn attended ballet lessons and frederik, young idiotic frederik, joined some biker club that was led by nero. since alice was one of his street dancers, course fred ended up in nero’s care. evelyn smiled through her shitty childhood and pretended everything was fine.

when alice officially was arrested in 93’ because evelyn snitched on her, they landed in nero’s care. he kept the children out from work. he didn’t want them to end up in sex work, no he’d fought against it. evelyn kept attending her ballet lessons and fred continued being a loyal worker of nero.

venus eventually came out and the siblings accepted her immediately. venus’s son, joey, was also very supportive of the transition. he was raised by very open minded people and adored his little family. especially aunt evie because she always let him stay awake late at night and watch movies with her.

venus encouraged evelyn’s love for theatre and acting. she was very supportive and helped evelyn get into the good acting schools. fred, a quiet presence around that time, also showed support. coming to her plays and mysteriously leaving money on her table. but it all changed when her social anxiety came crippling down upon her at age seventeen and evelyn had to step down.

which made her turn to becoming a teacher. she always loved children, she taught joey to read. so that’s how evelyn ended up working as a kindergarten teacher.

around that time she entered a relationship with a guy named mike. which quickly turned abusive but fred saved her before shit started to happen. they relocated up north, to san fransisco. leaving her old life behind.

II. BLACK NO. 1

frederik and evelyn are both two idiots according to the very word of their sister, venus van dam. don’t play uno with them if you want a knife thrown very close to your head. they take uno very seriously. the siblings love type o negative, even if they deny it heavily. fred might be the only one who is able to handle a caffeinated evelyn, especially when she is six coffees deep.

riot, gemma (not teller) & evelyn are a worse combination. the girls once pulled a hangover (lovely movie) at the bridesmaid party of gemma. so the three of them together is already crazy.

joey and his aunt? yeah, he loves evelyn. she gifted him his nintendo and the games that came along with it. she lets him stay awake late, makes good food and lets him watch horror movies with her. he’s always scared watching them but evelyn somehow makes it fun. he is a sore loser when he loses to her in monopoly but she makes it up with her apple crumble.

evelyn is a kindergarten teacher who smokes at least three cigarettes a day because….children are crazy but she loves them despite that. fred? doing gods know what type of illegal work while working as a tattoo artist. he might be overprotective but then again, alice noone was their bloody mother. maybe the streets made him a bit paranoid.

after mike once showed up in san fransisco, evelyn packed her shit and sought out the safest small city that there was. and she choose charming. the name was funny, it’s a small town and fairly in the middle of california.

is she aware of samcro? kind of, she actually doesn’t care. she doesn’t want to get involved with them. evelyn found an apartment that was right above a bakery owned by a sweet old lady. she became a kindergarten teacher again.

beep boop the girl is trouble and pretty. evelyn can act. she likes to fuck around and find out. not with samcro or any other guy who might be dangerous looking. not after mike. but her trauma is healed and she lives with her emotional support cat, mikkel. she loves mikkel and he loves her.

will she get involved with samcro? definitely. cuz some pretty boys who are part of samcro have laid their eyes upon her and she on them.

The fact that perisex trans people lie about having a "hormone disorder/endocrine disorder" or "chromosome disorder" or whatever else to get HRT or surgery, thinking it makes them safer.

DHDDmods made a really good post about it, explaining how it actually puts you in more danger to have that on your medical file, that it perpetuates the idea that intersexuality is a "defect" that needs repairing, and that it skews intersex statistics and studies.

But their post barely has any traction in comparison to the dozens of other posts we've seen actively promoting the appropriation of intersexuality. Which infuriates me because it means soooo many perisex people are being told that its fine to appropriate our experiences.

Why do people think its fine to use us as a free pass for medical transitions?

this is... complicated.

erasure of intersex people and our oppression made it seem for some people that it's safer to be intersex than trans. it's false assumption. it's dismissive of oir struggles and dangerous for people who fall in it. intersexism is real and often violent.

so lying that you are intersex (aka "have hormonal/chromosomal/whatever disorder," all of this describes intersexness) to avoid *harassment* is disrespectful and unhelpful. intersex people are often harassed for their looks. it doesn't provide any safety and feed in harmful public narratives (that intersexness is disordered).

but. in the case of preserving access to transition specifically, to medical procedures, i think it's more complicated. for example, if trans person has their gonads removed, they need to take hormones to not get dangerous health complications. it is medically urgent situation. if the laws in their state suddenly change and transition get banned, they may not be able to maintain access to their necessary therapy without pretending to be intersex. is it terrible situation? yes. but i genuinely don't see any good decision for these cases. it's lying in medical records, moving away, or diy. and some people don't have access to moving away or diy.

people, of course, shouldn't see this decision as easy pass because it's not. it's subjecting themselves to other discrimination (intersexism) that isn't easier to deal with. and people should think about it and consider other options and risks. it should be very thoughtful decision. but i can see why it may be the only available option to stay alive and/or not get dangerous health complications.

it is bad decision. but sometimes there are no good decisions. i absolutely believe that pretending to be intersex when you're not and feeding intersexism is bad. but i also believe that rules exist to live on them, not to die on them. so if the choice is between life or death (and for some people losing access to medical transition may mean death. due to severe dysphoria and suicide, due to medical complications without hormones, due to being imprisoned for diy hrt — and prison is a very dangerous place for everyone, and especially for trans people), i'd rather have people lied than dead.

yes, it has negative effects on intersex people. it feeds intersexism. it skews statistics. i want people not do it willy-nilly. i want people know that they use intersexist oppressive system and see it not as easy pass, but as bad thing that should be dismantled when the world changes for better. but i can imagine situations when this is the lesser evil.

of course, all above works only if putting "disorder" in your medical docs is only way to get hormones or surgeries. if there is legal way to get these procedures as a trans person, then people shouldn't use intersex people and medical intersexism for transition, and it will be extremely intersexist to do so.

if i misunderstand or overlook something, feel free to correct me. and sorry that i probably disappointed someone.

Okay.. so I'm gonna talk more about this I guess.

I have been a gqux defender from the start, I've enjoyed most of it, but ugh...

So, the positives, what I liked:

Machu and Nyaan fighting together

The visuals, obviously

The fight choreography

Machu and Nyaan completing their dream of making it to earth, however I would have preferred a different ending. Or have them tackle it a different way

Negatives;

I kinda thought all the stuff with the original white gundam got a little dumb, especially with it growing in size???? What was that????? Sorry if thats me complaining too much

I think the narrative of this episode was nowhere near as strong as other episodes

A lot of it felt there just to tie up lose ends, especially with the ending montage and the clanbat people appearing again

It was so??? Rushed??? Nothing really felt satisfying to me I'm sad to say

I really dont like all the Shuji loves Machu stuff, the "this world was made for us to meet" NO!!!! SHUT UP!!!!!! Also I think Shuji isnt as strong a character as any other character, especially for a protagonist, and I think him being someone who has "chased after Lalah across countless worlds" makes him even weaker. It feels... lame and contrived....

Shuji is clearly my biggest problem with this show, he feels like nothing more then a bland plot point not a character, however I still believe the Shuji Transfem agenda

Everything just needed so much more time, I think there's a world where this show works and is good, the ending dampens everything the show has done good for me though.

More I can't name, I need to get my thoughts in orser but unfortunately a lot of my feelings for this episode are negative.

All that being said:

I think this show will always hold a special place in my heart, for various reasons. Talking about it week by week has been a lot of fun and I will miss it.

Machu is one of my favourite characters period rn, I do not think she is one of the best characters ever, but she sits in the top 5 characters ever in my brain though that may change.

I think a lot of this show was competently made, however I REALLY prefered the early stuff, up to like episode 7-8 with all the clanbat stuff, I thought that was more fun

As much as I can think the multiversal stuff can work it needed more buildup and it felt shoved in there and like it gunked up the show as a whole

But its impossible for me to say I don't like this show, I do, however there is an urge, an itch, to fix it because with that ending I don't think I can say Gqux is *GOOD*

I dont know, maybe I'll draft up an outline for how I'd approach what it feels like what they wanted to do and what I think could be done better, maybe I'll draft up a whole fanfic for it, I am confident it would be very different in the end from the show though.

His reaction to her presence made her brain buffer for a hot moment. Her blood smells bad? What did he... oh... oh. Right. There had been a low grade cursed spirit lurking about early im the morning, one she easily defeated and consumed like a snack. She didn't even have to use cursed energy to defeat it, that was likely why her blood smelled bad.

"Don't worry your head over it, we aren't corpses. But we aren't purely human either, especially not me. We're, in some sense, hybrids between human and cursed spirit. Cursed spirits being made up of the negative emotions of non-sorcerers since they don't know and can't control their leaking cursed energy like how sorcerers utilize it via Cursed Techniques."

She would explain, it was... a complex thing to explain to say the least. Monsters created by negative emotions, who would guess. Let alone those who were hybrids of such by... somewhat natural means.

"I, however, have a much different genealogical structure then the rest of my family past the fact that my soul and cursed energy are fused to 100%. Making me a special grade, the Strongest there is. I have so much cursed energy, which is far far more potent then cursed energy normaly is, that it has integrated itself into my very being down to the cellular level. Meaning even my blood has cursed energy in it."

She would explain, wondering if any of this made sense at all.

"Since I have so much cursed energy, my body can't contain it all for... a reason that's best not to be explained right how. But, what you're smelling is what happens when I eat a cursed spirit when I don't need to, the scent of my blood changes because I haven't expulsed the cursed energy that overflows what my body can contain."

Meanwhile, if all her cursed energy was sealed in her body, it would cause her internal damage thanks to her heavenly restriction. While the overflow just affected the scent of her blood in a negative way.

"I can assure you that this rarely happens. I didn't know my brother was coming over, so that halted me from expending my cursed energy to the level required so my blood doesn't smell like a rancid corpse."

The sound of the twin fighting is drowned out by the music he listens to as he relaxes on the sofa. An unpleasant smell of metal assaults his sense of smell. Unable to bear the smell, he pinches his nose and gets up from the sofa to find out where such a smell is coming from. The smell of blood is never so strong and fetid. Maybe she keeps rotting meat somewhere for a reason only she knows? The answer to his question became clear when Noroi came to talk to him. The blood dripping from the fresh wound was the reason for the appalling smell. He raised his other hand and projected a warm, benevolent energy towards her neck, slowly healing her skin until it returned to normal. What's wrong with your blood? Why does it smell so bad? Please tell me you're not a walking corpse. It's the first time a smell has made him want to vomit. A corpse couldn't be that sublime to look at. At least, he hoped she was a living being in her own right. Otherwise, he'd have to live with the fact that he was married to a corpse.

Wait… don't tell me your family is a family of walking corpses? I'm starting to want out of this marriage.

*taps mic* Celebrities do not owe you insight into their sexuality, nor do they have to define or abide by your standards of how they act regarding their sexuality. You do not know them personally enough to inspect their private lifestyle in such a way, and even if you did that behavior still isn't warranted. Just because celebrities are more known to the public, doesn't negate the fact that they are people with feelings and aspects of their lives that they might prefer to keep quiet about. Sexuality, in general, is an intimate thing, that everyone experiences and expresses differently, and having random strangers deny or question their queerness does more harm than good. Stop acting like you're entitled to it.

I always talk about the visual changes to Vyrm and Grimm over the years but ngl the biggest thing for me is just how much more freeing their new designs are. Before, they were very angular, sharp, they had almost beak-like mouths, their proportions were less human-like. And those are not bad design traits at all, I think with all context removed they were still good designs.

But for what I'm trying to do with my art, all the emotion and softness that I want to portray? They were kind of terrible. There wasn't much emotion to be found in those blank eyes or the wide mouths, their bodies were stiff and cold looking. Making them both more "fleshy" and, for the lack of a better word, furry-like, really pushed their expressiveness so much further. It's soooo fun to experiment with different mouth shapes during various expressions, and actually seeing the direction in which they're looking in helps make them look more alive and less empty and alien.

I do sometimes get comments that they look uncanny or weird, or that I just turned them into furries. And I could see why it would be off-putting from an outsider perspective. But as the artist, I'm so glad that they are the way they are, and I'm so proud of the progress I was able to achieve thanks to the direction I took their designs in.
