Baseball always strikes out because nothing MePhone did satisfied Cobbs or made Cobbs proud.

Taco is the kind of person MePhone thinks Cobbs wants him to be, just as manipulative, selfish, and downright douchey. Or maybe it’s his way of coping with Cobbs nature.

Lightbulb represents his childlike innocence he had prior to his discovery of MePhone3GS and the truth.

Suitcase represents his underlying anxiety and depression.

Knife is his repressed anger and resentment towards Cobbs. Paintbrush also serves as a representation of this.

Fan represents his obsessive love over his creations/loved ones/contestants.

Test Tube represents his creativity and intelligence that was shunned and ignored by Cobbs.

I could go more in depth but like holy shit this is brilliant writing

hi guys here is your DAILY REMINDER!!!! that the only people mephone4 has ever felt love or kindness from except for MePad were not real!!! And now MePad hates him!!! And he doesnt know about social context and struggles saying "sorry" so when he tried to explain himself he just made everyone hate him more!!! And then before he could even do anything about it they all died or just vanished out of existence in front of his eyes!!! And Cobs is saying "i forgive you" and MePhone4 now feels that he's done something bad!!! Now hes being told or implied that running away and saving himself was the wrong thing to do!!! Cobs speaks the sweetest words but only the letters that are built have anything kind, theres nothing genuine there!!! Its just so that if MePhone4 tries to tell anyone, he cant.

This is probably the weirdest way to show that I'm in the Mouthwashing fandom, and like nobody is going to see this BUT

If I see ONE MORE person compare Ted to Jimmy I'm going to LOSE MY FUCKING MIND. Is this another testament to people not understanding Ted's overall role in the story and his character arc? YES, YES IT IS. RE READ THE BOOK. RE LISTEN TO THE RADIO DRAMA. GAME IS IT'S OWN CONVERSATION THAT WILL TAKE TOO LONG FOR ME TO DISECT + IT HAS IT'S OWN STORY AND THUS WILL NOT BE INCLUDED HERE.

Jimmy is a jealous man, who assaults (and unfortunately impregnates) Anya, and then tries to crash the ship so he doesn't have to deal with the consequences, and when everyone lives, they live in misery BECAUSE OF HIM. He is the co-pilot, he has more power and authority over the others, and he ACTIVELY makes things worse, and is at fault for the crash and the subsequent fallout. (this section is shorter, simply because I've been in the IHNMAIMS fandom much longer and have way more thoughts on Ted) Ted, on the other hand, is not at fault for the world ending. He is just as trapped as the other five, he's more prone to mental manipulation and THINKING he's better off, but he really isn't. He doesn't have more power of the others because he's also a victim. He is by no means a great guy, or even a good guy; They key difference is that at the end of his story, the book, he actually fucking HELPS. Rather than make his friends continue to live in misery, he puts them out of it, and rather than end his own suffering, he spends those precious few seconds he could be ramming an icicle into himself, comforting Ellen as she dies. It doesn't make up for what he's thought and said, BUT, it's something at least. It's remorse, it's letting her finally be content, it's trying to give her the empathy she showed him time and time again. And he gets turned into a horrid slug creature after, he actively suffers more than everyone else for the rest of time- he self sacrifices so his friends could be at peace. TLDR: Jimmy is objectively selfish and doesn't change much throughout the game, save for MAYBE the very end (ig putting Curly in the pod is one brownie point for him) however Ted actually shows growth by the end of the story, and makes a point to end the suffering of his friends, while ultimately sacrificing himself in the process. If I catch another person equating these two I'm just gonna start throwing hammers at them I DON'T CARE. I am THE Ted defender, and I WILL stand my ground that, while he is no where near perfect, he DOES become a better person by the end of the story and deserves to have that acknowledged. anyway this has been sick rants with me, feel free to add on in reblogs or perchance spark a FRIENDLY debate. I apologize if I come off rude here, Ted and IHNMAIMS have been a hyperfixation of mine for months and I am very easily riled up about the story and characters. adding new tag ; Jace rants 🗯️ ! yes, it was such brainrot it could be considered a hyperfixation (one that i miss) but then DSaF shoved its brain parasite in and ate some of my dreamcore/weirdcore parasite.

I don't understand why I never hear people talking about Wreck-it Ralph. Maybe it's because it's not something that adults nowadays are nostalgic about or something, but I loved that movie. I still do. It's one of those movies that nobody talked about because it wasn't awful and wasn't perfect. It was just really good.

But it's SUCH A GOOD MOVIE. It's a movie about being a fish out of water, about coming to terms with the consequences of your actions, and making friends who love you for all your flaws. But most of all, it's about coming to love yourself for all of your flaws. Self-acceptance is a core theme especially in the climax of the film. Ralph is only able to beat King Candy by accepting himself and using his unique skills to help in spite of his label as a "bad guy". He is not defined by the label he was given. He doesn't need other people to tell him who he is anymore.

The one quote that I'll never forget, one which helps me to know myself, is said once at the beginning of the film and once at the end, with both having completely different context

"I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There is no one I'd rather be Than me."

This is significant to me in ways I don't have the words to describe sometimes. I am broken. The way I see the world is fundamentally different to most other people. There are others who are also warped in similar ways, who see the same bent shapes as me. Ralph is not alone, and neither am I. Neither are you. Don't let other people tell you who you are. Life isn't binary. Make friends with people who understand and love you for exactly who you are, and remember to extend them the same courtesy to them. Don't treat people differently based on what labels society has given them.

All these lessons from an animated comedy movie for kids that's rated 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.

If you haven't watched this movie, I highly encourage it. It's still my favorite Disney film (followed closely by Treasure Planet) and still watch it from time to time. It's just called Wreck-It Ralph and it's on Disney Plus. Or pirate it. I don't really care. I hold an immense amount of disdain for Disney, sooooooo...

So my sister @poetry-geek got me rehyperfixated on supernatural but specifically dean winchester and jensen ackles and everyone's gotta deal with it now lol so heres my little hyperfixation rant: APPARENTLY jensen ackles who plays dean winchester has adhd and depression. And that just validates me in so many ways. No wonder dean is so AuDHD coded... AND apparently he struggled with reading as a kid and even though I can't relate, because reading was actually one of my giftings as a kid, I appreciate that he talked about it because I knew so many other people with neurodivergencies who had a hard time with it and so i know there are people who can relate to it and that makes me happy to see representation and real life neurodivergent people we can look up to this year.

I saw someone say food is freedom in One Piece, and like. Yeah. Even in this world, food is freedom, isn't it? So allow me to ramble about why One Piece's message, or at least how interept it, is so very important to me.

I think the reason One Piece hits and hurts so hard, for me, is because of how it talks about and what it insinuates about food and loneliness and freedom. The way those who love food have such a freedom to them, the way food brings so many together. I've struggled my entire life with loneliness, then I began to struggle with the freedom to be myself, and then I began to struggle with food. I lost my freedom again, just in a new and confusing way. I have found the freedom to be myself, but I still struggle greatly with food. Honestly, I've relapsed rather hard into my eating disorder lately. A bit before my relapse, I began watching One Piece and I think it didn't register with my how important food is in the OPverse but as I go on I begin to realize it more and more. Luffy's love for food, Luffy's kindness and willingness to give help to the ends of the earth when that food is shared. I think at first I found it a bit odd, but really, it makes sense. These people often struggle under an oppressive government or in deep poverty, and despite that, they are kind enough to share with someone who's hungry. It's almost a way to show that, though they aren't free, they have not lost the free will. And then, after the fight, once these people have gained their freedom, a giant feast the size of which they likely have no indulged on in so long is had. They dance and eat and enjoy each others company and bask in their freedom.

Or when Ace joins the Whitebeard pirates, his last conversation with Marco before officially joining, he is offered a meal despite all he's done. He's felt he was was being backed into a corner, so he snarls and shows his teeth, he shows them his worst. He tries to kill their captain for christ sake! But, still, they offer him food. I think food hold a lot of importantance towards Ace as well.

And, dear God, the thesis I could write on Zeff and Sanji's relationship with food. I could make an entire blog full of different eating disorders/disordered eating habits I headcanon Sanji with. But, I'll condense it a bit. Sanji's self-worth and his relationship with food is a symbolism I will never get over. I'm sure there is a part of him that battles with whether he is deserving of food or not, especially pre-WCI. I imagine Sanji is always the last to eat if he eats at all. A lot of what I have to say with Sanji's relationship with food is not canon or how interept it, so I'll just say. I think after WCI, when he truly has his freedom, he seems lighter. I've not made it all the through, but I think there is a sort of new willingness to allow himself food, from what I've seen and imagined.

I could honestly ramble about it all day and night, One Piece and food and freedom, but I'm at work on my break and I think if I were to go back on the floor sobbing, I may get a concerned look or two. So I figure I should conclude this with:

In One Piece, food is freedom, and everyone deserves freedom so therefore every deserves food. Food brings people together in a way that no other thing really can. I resonate with those ideals in a way that I can not begin to express properly. I wish that knowing that made me feel worthy of food and recovery, I wish knowing and seeing all that made me reach out, but it hasn't yet. So, I hope that one day, I will experience something close to what I imagine Sanji did. Realizing I worthy, beyond just hearing or saying it, but truly and wholeheartedly knowing I am worthy of companionship and food and freedom. I could honestly write a whole thesis on food and One Piece, I might, maybe it will help me truly realize these things, but who knows?

I honestly wish I could find the post again, but it's lost in my likes 😭 I would love to read more posts about it, so if anyone who sees this recalls any posts please tag the author post so I can read it!!! Apartently, "One Piece food symbolism" is too specific/niche a topic for Tumblr search bar to find many posts.

I haven't been on this site in a while but I need to yap about the sheer amount of TADC brainrot I've acquired since episode 5 came out and neither of my main discord servers are responding right now

SO, starting off, I've watched episode 5 about 4 times within the first 10 hours of it coming out and in between that was just watching videos about it. It's all I've been yapping about the past three days, it's all my friends have been yapping about the past 3 days. LAST NIGHT the last thing I watched before going to sleep was a bunch of tadc comic dubs and this is the first time I've had MULTIPLE DREAMS IN ONE NIGHT about my current hyperfixation. Usually when I wake up in the morning, the first thing I think about either: getting food, what time is it, or my two best friends. WANNA KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING ABOUT IMMEDIATELY AS I WOKE UP THIS MORNING? "Why is Jax the way he is?" "Will Ragatha ever get over her people-pleaser tendencies?" THIS IS NOT NORMAL.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SUPER PAPER MARIO AHEAD!

..we clear? Yeah? Okay.

I was just listening to the SPM Ost, and Sammers Kingdom came on.

Whenever I listen to this song, all I can think of are the background sounds. The most audible is a constant, kind of melodic, siren-ish sound.

Now, the whole point of Sammers Kingdom as a world is to show the players how dangerous the void is. Throughout the worlds, you can easily compare and contrast the size of the void in every one of them. When in Sammers Kingdom, it's the largest it would ever be. This is proven by the fact that it gets sucked into said void, leaving it a white ruin, depraved of life.

The sirens are in the background, because it's an actual warning to the civilians of Sammers. And yet there's no escape from it, and everyone perishes.

In the World of Nothing, the music artists use this again as a heart monitor. It goes flatlined at the end of the song. The world is dead. Torn beyond repair.

What I find really sets in, is that the warriors you fight probably *hear* this siren. They know they have to run but instead stay and fight Mario.

And I know this is probably common knowledge at this point, its been actual years and of course this has been analyzed before, but we have to at least recognize how much thought went into this banger of an OST!

Tldr; Sammers Kingdom OST has Sirens in the background to represent a natural disaster and foreshadows the World of Nothing OST where it's a flatline instead.
