No matter your answer, you have another opportunity right now.
We are a group of LGBTIQ+ refugees struggling to survive in Sudan. Every day, we face unimaginable persecution, violence, and rejection. On top of this, we are battling severe shortages of food, medical care, and shelter.
Hunger is a daily reality. Many of us go days without food, and medical assistance is nearly impossible to access. Our shelters are small and inadequate, leaving us exposed to harsh conditions. For lesbians, even basic sanitary products are out of reach.
With your help, we can change this. Your donation will go directly toward food, medication, and urgently needed tents to provide safe shelter. No amount is too small every dollar makes a difference in our survival.
🌍 Please donate today and be part of our fight for survival. Your kindness can help improve and even save our lives.

Help Your Brothers
Joshua 1:12-15. And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying, Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land. Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall…

I understand the logic behind this rhetoric but I cannot express how tired I am seeing articles and posts arguing to cis people that they should care about protecting trans rights because "they'll come for someone else next."
Why are we only deserving of protection because a more palatable group may be targeted next? What if you knew that wouldn't happen? Would you throw us into the fire and watch us burn if you knew the flames could never hurt you?

Note
it’s very odd seeing how much discourse in the trans community is centered around growing up in a patriarchy because like. On one hand, yeah, the entire WORLD is a patriarchy. united states, china, and russia are dominating global powers and are very clearly patriarchal societies. but also. There are places that do not follow that. i myself grew up in an indigenous tribe that technically functioned as a matriarchy (though even that’s not entirely true as gender didn’t really matter? it was a religious based tribe so the power kinda went to those who handled religion which was evenly divided). Like i understand WHY its talked about so much, it is majority of the world, its just very hard to join in discussions when my experience of the patriarchy is “yeah the US invaded my country and i went into big cities a lot?”
This! Oh my God, this!
This is what I’m trying to say, absolutely. While sure it is the majority of the world that holds a patriarchal power structure, acting like societies that have matriarchal or another type of gender structure suddenly stopped existing is one that inherently supports colonialism and racism, and actively erases those cultures and their traditions. People will prescribed their experience as inherent to everybody else on the world throughout time and culture, not even taking the time to realize that might not be true for everybody else, especially those from Western countries. Even in those countries you named, there were/are societies that are matriarchal.
My experience with a non-patriarchal society is one that I was exposed to when I was in Nicaragua. My family does (non-religious, I often need to state this) medical work with both indigenous communities and other communities ware the hospitals typically have a lack of supply due to an inability to actually get medical supplies to the hospital and are under-resource because of that or geographic isolation.
And this is further complicated by my own creole mixed indigenous decent weird fucking ethnicity. Where sure, women can’t become fathers and pastors, but they can become healers and are believed to be divinely blessed by god. Often times they are of even a more important role in the community, than officials of the Catholic Church and the men in it, who basically ran Louisiana until the US government came in. There are a couple more examples, again Creole culture is very very complicated because it is inherently a combination of multiple contrasting societies blended into one.
And all of this goes back to the idea that femininity and masculinity are these very strict things with automatic determined behavior and roles everywhere, no exceptions. Not like throughout time, history, and culture human societies have varied greatly. Not like, depending on how you define the word dress, there haven’t been cultures that identified that as a masculine clothing style and not like they’re haven’t been cultures that have considered shorts and pants a feminine style. They just prescribed their culture onto everybody else’s because that’s the only way they can perceive the world.
Like you said the world might be, but not every community within the world is, and it is highly important to include those communities and those societies within our conversation.

Easter is coming and for us, it’s not about chocolate or fancy clothes. It’s about one rare, beautiful thing, Togetherness.
As queer refugees living in a camp, we don’t get many moments of joy. But on Easter, we try.
We gather. We cook. We eat. We laugh. We remember what it feels like to be human if only for a night.
This Easter, we’re trying to raise $800 for a simple community dinner.
A hot meal. A cold drink. A break from the pain.
A celebration of survival, love, and chosen family.
If you’ve ever shared a holiday meal with people you love, you know how powerful it is.
Please help us make that happen.
A donation. A reblog. A moment of kindness. It truly means the world.
Im tagging this post for a possible reach, please, please, please if you see this , kindly reblog share and if your in position to donate , don’t hesitate to make a post impact, thank you 🙏

I've been following the Unity situation and its so fucking insane like holy shit. We have everything! - Absurd fees for devs! That may or may not be retroactive and illegal, but we won't say until you cause a stink about it! (We totally aren't shh we wouldn't break the law. Totally :) ) - Getting rid of one of their levels of subscriptions during all of this, The 'Plus Plan', and allegedly putting you on the more expensive 'Pro' subscription if you auto renew! - Insider trading! Selling their stocks not even a week before they released this new change in their company! x x They've since backpedaled from what their original plan was. Originally, they told everyone that every Install, reinstall, dlc, demo, and pirated copy would now cost a fee (with few exceptions, such as charity games and bundles) It's not hard to see how this could tank an indie company with ease. Mad at a dev/company? Just mass install/uninstall. Now they are apparently saying that 'nonono! We only meant the original install :)' Which also opens the door as to how they are tracking installs. They so far have seemed to be avoiding as to how on earth they are going to do that without breaching privacy on a computer. Especially when it could just be easier to make a fee based on purchases, but no. x
Tumblr media
So you know, don't worry guys, they have their own 'proprietary data model.' But so far (As i type this, or am aware of) have not given details about how that model works. When asked about stuff such as Xbox Gamepass, Unity mentioned it would be Microsoft paying for the fees. As of now, I have no idea if Microsoft was even told this, and I doubt they are going to agree to it either out of nowhere. x Another fun thing, is if you change your Unity plan, you are added to the revenue threshold immediately. Interesting that this is after they sneakily got rid of their Plus plan, which a lot of devs seemed to use.
Tumblr media
And interesting enough, they seem to contradict themselves from their QnA and their official twitter post regarding Demo's and Early Access, or at least tried to be sneaky about the wording?? x x
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They won't charge for demos or early access, until they do, apparently. Or if the demo has data that can be transferred to the main game, anyway. Unity also claimed this would only affect 10% of its users. Which is funny when you look at all the Indie devs and studios who are coming out on twitter saying that this actually directly hurts them. Not to mention all the people that have spent years learning this engine, for themselves, or so they can apply to companies using it. And now all of that was just spat on by Unity themselves. There's also the games that have been out and are built on this engine, and can't just be tossed and rebuilt. Such as Among us, Genshin Impact, Pokemon Go and the Diamond/Pearl remakes. Overall, it's a huge mess. Unity majorly screwed up. I'd recommend looking into what games you like, and if they run on Unity. If you don't have them yet, you may want to purchase them so they are in your steam library, or whatever console you play on. With the uncertainty of all of this, I wouldn't be surprised if some companies delist their games on steam. If you buy from them now, you'll still be able to support the devs before Unity implements this new fee plan. Plus, since you paid for them, they will still be on your console/in your steam library. Please stay safe ya'll, and support your local game devs during this storm. They need it.

✍️ Digging Tunnels with Pens: Anonymous Publishing as Intellectual Resistance by Aziz Yafi, published in the blog of the Institute for Palestine Studies
"By embracing clandestine publishing, we reject the commodification of knowledge and the constraints of Western individualism. We center the collective over the individual, the struggle over the author. This strategy, borrowed from revolutionary movements across history, allows us to bypass the structures that seek to censor and punish us, creating spaces for radical ideas to thrive and circulate beyond the confines of institutional power.
Resisting the commodification of knowledge also requires resisting novelty. Clandestine writing does not necessarily have to be new. It can also involve the revisiting of revolutionary ideas from the past and archival sources that have been suppressed by the passage of time and institutional power hierarchies — returning revolutionary knowledge to our collective struggle.
Ultimately, we must recognize that our energies are better spent outside the academy, and in strategically extracting its resources to fuel our anti-colonial work elsewhere. It is time to return to the archives of insurgent knowledge, revive the revolutionary spirit of past movements, and produce knowledge that resists (self) censorship and affirms the struggle for Palestinian liberation by all means necessary.
In times of intensified repression, clandestine publishing becomes a necessity and a vital form of intellectual and political survival. As censorship tightens, we must draw from history, learn from past movements, and rely on one another to keep the flame of resistance burning. This is not a call to abandon the academic space entirely, but to master the art of navigating both worlds –— maintaining our presence within institutional frameworks while never losing sight of the collective struggle. To go underground as academics means to learn from the endurance of Palestinian resistance, the steadfastness of Gaza, and the struggle of Palestinian prisoners. It is a call to learn rather than teach, to apply knowledge rather than extract it.
The tunnels dug by Palestinian prisoners with spoons, and those created by Gaza's resistance, symbolize a reorientation of our approach — teaching us to think not just laterally but vertically, subverting spatial barriers and borders. These tunnels remind us to delve into our collective history of knowledge production, to republish what has been buried or scattered in lost archives, and to make accessible what's been withheld by institutional gatekeepers. Doing so teaches us to reject the Western capitalist drive for constant novelty, which seeks to erase the wisdom of militant generations before us. The words of those who were often assassinated for their ideas remain alive.
To learn from Palestinian resistance is to carve and dig escape tunnels from academia's mental production lines, with pens as our tools. We go underground not to bury our heads and remain hidden but to traverse and dismantle the borders that confine us. We go underground to emerge stronger, to speak loudly and radically in spaces where our voices are suppressed, and to break through the boundaries that seek to silence us."

Ooooh! I didn’t expect that if Watanuki knew his original name, Evil Wolverine would have been able to manipulate him back to whatever Evil Wolverine intended of him, but it makes sense at least. If Watanuki doesn’t even know his birth name then it can’t be used against him. And so Evil Wolverine has no idea where he is.
Which makes you think a bit doesn’t it. Is all Evil Wolverine needs to track someone… their name? Specifically their birth name? It would make sense why he was still able to track the Tsubasa Family even after they deviated from his course and started doing things in a new order. If he knew even just one of their birth names, he could find them - and like, Fai is a great candidate for that. Fai was the mole, so it would track that he was also there secondarily so that Evil Wolverine could always watch them.
I don’t think Evil Wolverine would have access to Lava Lamp or Kurogane’s original names. He might have had Sakura’s, since he’s in the Clow Kingdom, but then again maybe it was Clone Syaoran as well? Due to the technicality of his name being given to him at the moment he started existing? At the very least Fai is the only one that seems like an easy Yes and not a Maybe.
Also, in hindsight, Evil Wolverine not knowing where Watanuki is shines a bit of light on the fact that whenever Yuuko has been seen interacting with Evil Wolverine in any way (ie, spying on him, commenting on his plans, or even that one time she tracked his location) Watanuki has never present. She always did that without Watanuki around, so that even if it backfired, Evil Wolverine did not get a glimpse of where Watanuki was. I never knew any of that before but it all connects so well!
And that chilling panel on the left there! With Evil Wolverine above the sky filled with souls he stole from innocent people. Especially since it’s these souls that he used to create his replica people, and we’ve seen what’s become of most of them now.
And! I really like the wing! The single solitary wing rising from the bottom left corner, pointing straight towards Watanuki in the next frame over. It’s a good call back to the iconic wing behind the Tsubasa logo, in a series all about wings and feathers, and how Watanuki was secretly central to that storyline all along.

Unity attempting to monetize installs will likely be the best thing to ever happen to Godot.
Speaking of, here is some documentation for Unity devs who want to switch to Godot
