god i fucking hate talking about my emotions on the internet because this is not the fucking place to do it. but i genuinely started bawling my eyes out when the teaser for the Ōkami sequel was revealed.

almost TWENTY YEARS since the original game came out, grossly overshadowed by Twilight Princess, seen as a 'ripoff' of Twilight Princess, Ōkamiden being a massive flop, Clover Studios getting shut down, Hideki Kamiya leaving Platinum Games. everything pointed to a sequel never happening ever again.

UNTIL GAME AWARDS 2024

Ōkami is my favourite game of all time and nothing will ever change that, and i hope to god that everyone working on the sequel takes their fucking time on it.

Really late pride thing for the td pride collab, look me in the eyes and tell me DJ wouldnt be the friend to grab waters for people at a club or rave (that was the theme this year)

My pride headcannons for characters are usually very loose and subject to change but for the collab I narrowed DJs down to gay, demisexual, and gnc

man this company IS pretty lethal huh.

i am full of a lot of thoughts about them in lethal company. so many. like pomni being a designated ship bitch bc not only is she good at it but they cant trust anyone else on comms. zooble dipping out all the time via death just to avoid having to do anything ever. and also being stolen by the lootbugs and baboon hawks CONSTANTLY. they gang up on jax to lead him to snare fleas just to shut him up, otherwise he shouts and attracts the eyeless dogs. god.

Ohhh, the vigilante would absolutely have a time fighting crime and dealing with their asthma, and if what I'm reading is correct, it seems like asthma medicine in the 40s was adrenaline injections and nebulizers that were operated by squeezing a rubber bulb with your hand. In that case, the Detectives are definitely carrying around a few injections and they absolutely have a nebulizer of their own for if the vigilante ever needs it. Moon absolutely does not light a cigarette around the vigilante. Any smoke bar or hazy poker room is the vigilante's true nemesis. Eclipse on the other hand does have plenty of medicine and rescue equipment on hand, but he's still lighting up his cigar just to see if he can trigger the vigilante's asthma and then kindly provide relief. Which, as you can imagine, is a thorn in the vigilante's side.

I know I said something very similar to this recently but honestly I don't feel like finding it, but: I do think it's valid to explore a character who has often been deprived of the opportunity to make choices for themselves. However, I find that fans who get really wrapped up in that particular part of the narrative almost invariably are like "I want them to make their own choices" and also have a very specific list of what they think their own choices are, and will throw a tantrum when the character actually makes an entirely different choice.

#you know i was going to leave this as is but. fuck it. i'm drinking it's the end of the year #literally like half the nein; honestly pretty much all of them.#but ESPECIALLY caleb yasha and jester #and obviously lucanis #this also tends to go with people who take a very why doesn't ross the largest friend attitude towards fiction #it's just very. look these characters are pretend you can wish for whatever #but actually the fact that you throw a big fit when they don't do precisely what you want is like. well that was a lie #and let's just get real into it the fact that it's nearly always tied up in shipping is pretty. revealing. in a very bad way.#honestly this happened for laudna too now that i think about it.

ok finished reading through the leaked scripts. they kinda sucked

#c2bc #only part that really got me excited was when jester hat and/or corky were there #and I find it a little funny that you can tell how Obviously this show was based on ii #ALSO like. I get that all the eliminated contestants only showed back up in the finale but it still felt like a lot to-#-suddenly have all these Dynamics happening at the same time #also also you mean to tell me glitchy got ZERO character development in those unleaked episodes? come on man #and. okay. fireball winning felt simultaneously really unsurprising but also kinda disappointing. he just doesnt seem like a finalist type #and actually I want to talk about ep 14 again. I hateee that the firepound situation was resolved so quickly #fireball was so. weirdly understanding? like no man I think he shouldve been more unreasonable about this actually #and like. a lot of character flaws that felt like they were setting up arcs (ex. POUND) just. didnt?#they just got a lukewarm resolution or none at all #anyway thats about it. I do still kinda wish we got s3 because I wanted to see oven glove again. rip oven glove you were a real one

God the doctor at my urgent care is like if house md was nice

I walk into the room. he enteres within the minute. he tells me how meningitis is deadly and i would have to be dying because the other option was being dead already and i would've never even made it to my front door. but luckily i do not have meningitis and i do not quote "look like the flu" so ill be fine. he runs zero tests and prescribes me the correct antibiotics and steriods by pure instict. He tells me i look 12. He leaves. Ive been here for 5 minuets.
