Amongst the myriad ways the Voltron: Legendary Defender writers failed spectacularly, is the unintentionally humorous example of Shiro's supposed future husband, "Curtis", having more chemistry with Acxa, in the form of an actual conversation he initiates with the intention of learning personal information about her.

"What about you, Acxa? Did you have pets where you're from?"

"I never had a creature companion. But, one of my partners, Narti, was bonded to an immortal cat named Kova.

That cat gave her the ability to experience the world."

"Oh. That's... 'great'."

This is more than he has with Shiro in the entire thirteen episode season, wherein their interactions are limited exclusively to shouting impersonal commands at each other in the heat of battle.

#Voltron: Legendary Defender #Meta.#VLD Meta.#I don't care what anyone says; I will NEVER acknowledge Shiro and Mr. Set-Dressing's 'relationship' as canon.#There's no chemistry #no build-up #no basis for it #'Curtis' himself has no personality to speak of outside of this interaction #which makes him seem like kind of a jerk (poor Shiro is 2-2 on asshole boyfriends #apparently)#and the animators made 'Curtis' look like a sorry middle-aged loser who went in to try and lift or dip his strapping younger groom #drew up short when he realized he's physically incapable of doing either #and then tried to conceal his shame with a kiss.#All because the asshole showrunners wanted brownie points for helming the first cartoon aimed at a child audience to show an onscreen gay #wedding #after they put Shiro through HELL #KILLED him #only brought him back because they were ordered to #and then treated him like a worthless side character they kept around out of obligation while disrespecting at every feasible turn.#They get no brownie points and they and their joke of a 'wedding' can piss off forever.#All I want is to fly with queue.

oml dude that titan fight was so cool ‼️ absolutely loved the design, music and fight mechanic!!

love me a design with lots of wings and eye imagery 🔥🔥 man i really wanna go back and do this fight again, it was so fun

the whole vibe of the titans really reminds me of the angles from Evangelion too I realised, which might be why I love em so much lol 🛐

since we never actually see the rest of it’s body, pulled some inspiration from the earlier depictions we’ve gotten of the titans (i think from chapter 1?)

i hope we’ll get to see more/different kinds of titans in the coming chapters!! that’d be so cool
