i have a weebly website but its honestly a little annoying to work with; i want to have a site where i can just drag and drop stuff.

in theory i could move my portfolio fully to carrd, but that's not the most ideal

are you an artist who wants to get away from big site-builders like squarespace & have a place to put your work that isn't social media? i threw together a super basic portfolio code template you can use to make your own website!

it should be easy enough to customize if you have a basic understanding of what html and css are. features include:

responsive to fit on different screen sizes

fairly compact — less than 300 lines of css, and you never have to look at anything after line 30 if you don't want to

customizable fonts, colors, image sizes, and decorations right at the top of the css

image gallery with a lightbox function (clicking an image to make it bigger)

free to customize to your heart's content!

I need something for my portfolio for my senior year and it has to be something along the lines of getting something in return — such as an art trade, fanart, commissions, etc.

So I'm wondering if anyone wants to do an EPIC art trade and/or fanart... I would do a commission, but I don't have a commission chart, and I don't wanna charge anyone for my art cuz I feel bad 😭

hello and thanks for the ask!! thats so exciting! ive been drawing horses since i could properly hold up a pencil so i think i can help but even then im no pro!

dont be afraid to show mass these horses are huge! i think ur best friend is going to be wrinkles, give them wrinkles to showcase their muscle density in different areas like around the jaw, elbow, hip etc (not too much tho! too much of anything might make it look odd)

something about else that may help depict density is shadows, add shading to emphasize muscular areas that dont necessarily need linework

as for references here r some good photos i found that showcase their size and mass
