Bruce Wayne had a child that was somehow kidnapped right out of the hospital just hours after being born. He of them ever stopped looking despite how cold the trail had grown.

Years later there is some rouge attack and a civilian child was injured and taken to the hospital. Bruce does a DNA test on the blood found at the scene and concludes that the child is actually his long lost kid.

Dani was planning to sneak out of the hospital the moment the doctors stopped looking at her. Then Bruce Wayne of all people comes in and claims that she is his long lost child. She knows that this is very impossible because she is a clone, but Bruce won't listen to her and she really doesn't want to explain the clone thing to a "normal" stranger.

This does brings up a lot of questions about how Danny ended up living with the Fentons though.

People seem to misunderstand what Rhaenyra's claim to the Iron Throne is built on. It isn't because she's First Born, and she never says if she were a man they'd let her have it, -even though we as the audience know that,- and when other women go to her, begging her to support their claims as the eldest, she reiterates its first born son before a daughter. Her claim is that she is the 'Preferred Heir'. Viserys named her heir, and that's that!

I was gonna initially just leave this as a reply but I'll probably exceed the word limit, but I like this question! This is a good question :]

Honestly with it being this early on in Batman's career, and with Nightingale being the designated emergency support, I can pretty confidently say that Danny's relationship with the other Rogues ranges from neutral to dislike, and vice versa. Just by virtue of it being really early on in all of their careers and thus Rogues like Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn and stuff, haven't had the character development to otherwise be someone worth, eh, well, liking.

Nightingale's role as 'emergency only' means that he's really not seen that often. Bruce is a pretty master escape artist so for him to get in a situation that requires Danny to feel like he needs to step in is rare.

I haven't gotten Nightingale's persona completely set in stone yet, I'm still bouncing around with ideas, but the current gist I've got for him is that he's honestly pretty quiet. He's not there to engage in a fight or banter, he physically can't; he's there to aid the Batman and that usually means subterfuge, sabotage, psychological tricks, to just straight up shooting people with tranq darts depending on his mood that day.

The Nightingale posts I have here are hyperbolic and a bit exaggerated for my own amusement and entertainment, albeit still reflective of what I'm thinking of for the fic. The post this comment came from is a special case in that it was a joke idea I came up with and felt like sharing. It might show up in fic, just in a different format.

With that being said, from the POV of the Rogues, it means that the Batman has this protective little shadow that will pop up at random and either enact psychological warfare on them (distract them long enough for Batman to free himself), break their stuff (make it easier for Batman to free himself), or straight up shoot them with a tranquilizer, and you never really know which it will be until it's happening. Sometimes its all three.

Sometimes its neither of them; sometimes its him freeing Batman without ever making his presence known. One moment the Bat was trapped, the next he's not.

I don't think they even learn what his name is for a while either. He's probably just called smth like 'the Shadow' until people find out his name is Nightingale.

Safe to say though, the Rogues don't like Batman's little shadow that much, and even if he doesn't show up, he invokes this unwilling paranoia in a lot of them whenever they have him trapped. Besides, he's associated with Batman, the guy who keeps trying to stop them, that makes Nightingale a hated figure on principle.

As for Danny's opinion on the Rogues, I don't think there's any of them that he necessarily likes. Sympathizes with, sure, but not like. Folks like Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy and Babydoll fall under his 'cool motive, still murder' banner, where yeah he gets where they're coming from, but that doesn't excuse the harm they're doing. While folks like Black Mask, the Penguin, or Joker, fall under his 'what an asshole' banner, where he doesn't like them just for the obvious reasons of they're hurting people for power.

He probably likes Catwoman honestly, but her main profession is also thief not murderer so she has that going for her.

I don't think he'd have any special opinions on the other ghost characters. They're ghosts; water is wet, fork found in kitchen.

But yeah, as of the timeline right now Danny's opinion on the Rogues and vice versa are what you'd expect. He's not in the field often enough to form a relationship with any of them beyond the normal one, and considering his schtick is "you made Batman need my help" he's not particularly inclined on changing it. Child ghosts can be so protective yk, especially clingy little traumatized ones with separation anxiety.

I'm certain I've seen this said somewhere else already and I cannot for the life of me track it down but Dream's favourite colour being purple and Nightmare's being yellow

Everybody assumes Dream's is yellow because, well, he's dressed in it head to toe and his magic is yellow and his eyelights are yellow. It's just a bright happy colour, it must be his favourite! Only Blue and Ink know it's not, Ink because he takes note of how Dream favours purple any time he gets to pick something or joins in on an art project and Blue because he just asked.

Everybody assumes Nightmare doesn't have a favourite colour, that if you asked he'd say he was above that sort of thing or tell you something edgy like black because it's the colour of his soul. And it's kind of true, if you asked he would never admit to liking a colour, especially not one so cheery and bright. But the boys have definitely noted how he has paintings of sunrises in his offices and sunflowers planted outside.

I have seen god in the hip thrust machine and not in a good way. Nothing will humble you more than feeling your glutes fatigue. I have also been ruined (not in a good way) by the hack squat. I've been adding that in more these days as I finally say fuck it about being quad dominant, and good lord. That machine leaves me crying and gasping. I'm covered in sweat, my heart is hammering. My vision is gone lmao. It has humbled me more than any man, I'll tell you that.

I saw a guy in the hip thrust the other day who was thrusting three plates no sweat. I gave him a WIDE berth. That's easily more than twice my bodyweight and he didn't even have a pad or foam block on his hips. Insanity.

Nah. Unified theory:

Tim used to be addicted to coffee. As he spent more time at the Manor, Bruce and Alfred and Dick started being weird about it, and if someone tried to swap out his coffee for fucking decaf again or give him a judgmental look one more fucking time or make one more fucking ultimatum “deal” he was going to go full Gun Batman on their asses. What drugs he does and does not use (or abuse) in order to maintain at least a semblance of functionality in both the diurnal and nocturnal worlds while also being a teenager who should theoretically “require” large amounts of sleep is none of their McHecking business. Tim’s body Tim’s choice.

…or at least that’s the impression the others get for a while… and then Tim stops drinking coffee. At all. Guzzles Zesti like it’s going out of style, but no coffee, no tea, no heart-attack-inducing caffeinated lemonade, no weird energy drinks. They question him and he just shrugs and is like. Not sure why you’re not happy? You won. I don’t agree that you have the right to control my decisions and survival mechanisms like that but it’s clear you’re gonna make everything miserable as long as I’m fighting you on it, so I gave up. You won. Congrats. And then he pops open a fresh can of Zesti.

Bruce snags a half-drunk can of “Zesti” to test it, on the assumption that Tim must be somehow swapping out the drink for something caffeinated in a way that leaves the can seemingly still sealed, possibly by buying out a manufacturing plant… and finds nothing. As far as even the most vigorous tests can tell, it’s totally normal, caffeine-free Zesti Cola.

Eventually they settle down, pleased. See, Tim? You didn’t need the caffeine to function after all. You sleep so much better and are so much less anxious now, aren’t you happy that we convinced you to cut back?

And Tim smiles at them in a way that someday, looking back, they will know had death hidden behind it, but this is early enough that they can’t tell yet, it just looks like placid agreement; and says, yes, he does seem quite happy and healthy with the amount of caffeine he is currently consuming, doesn’t he. Surprising. I guess someone was proven right after all. Not naming names.

A couple times when he’s held hostage he gets horrible debilitating headaches and nausea, gets very sick - fatigue, confusion, hand tremor, joint pain - because he doesn’t have his meds. He normally carries a few days worth of meds in a few different capsules distributed around his gear (one in a belt pouch, one in his boot, etc), but sometimes he gets held hostage too long or fully stripped of his gear and it fucks him up.

The others are sympathetic; medication withdrawal can be a bitch, and unfortunately Tim does have a few different conditions that require continuous medication and there’s really no way around that. They offer to carry some capsules of his meds themselves but he turns the offer down.

Only Leslie is privy to his full med list, which includes “caffeine pill, 200mg, twice daily”.
