I’ve seen tons of posts along the lines of “Dick would beat up anyone who hated on his little brothers,” usually pointed at Tim and/or Damian haters. And that’s true and should be said. But then those same people have Dick totally fine with slandering Bruce and I’m just like…

Dick has canonically proven that he will fight anyone who so much as breathes wrong in Bruce’s direction.

(Other people who love Bruce get a little leeway—especially re: petty things—but he’s definitely yelled at them before when they doubted Bruce too much.)

Anyway, even when Dick claims he hates Bruce, he’ll not tolerate anyone talking bad about him.
