I changed the scenario a bit. The one in my head is more, erm, dramatic.

I REALLY shouldve sketched this idea the moment that i thought of it. I would have been able to explain it better then. i did post a bit of an explanation for this hc last year, set it on private btw hehe.

This was partly inspired by that one animated series that i watched a looong time ago: the character possesses a power(a curse) that can cause mass destruction. It is so powerful, but it slowly creeps in(inches its way) into the wielder's heart.

i always do assume that my ideas are not that unique. Have you guys thought of something similar?🌟

i left the house today! i didn't eat or get out of bed until like 3pm and after moping around for a couple more hours i realized rn are the longest days of the year. so i went to the park! my fav park. i sketched dogs and birds and ppl, my fav thing to do. here are the pages! and below i'll copy paste how i described them to sid

i saw a lot of couples. including a couple of old men who were passionately talking the whole time i was there. they started at a picnic table and then moved to walk around a little and gaze over the lake and then back to the picnic table and then to a romantic bench

there was also a couple of young guys. when i first saw them they were sitting extremely close on a bench with their faces together so i thought they were kissing. then they moved apart and there was an adorable little dog between them. they were kissing the dog! they spent the whole rest of the time following the dog around and taking videos of it

there was also this girl wearing a rly cute shirt with a pink heart on it. it had words but i missed it the first time. then she walked past me again. so i paid attention to the words. it said "bella, where the hell have you been, loca?"

also do u see the 3 ppl wearing alll black? i saw them from far away, and i drew the left persons arms like that, but it didnt make sense to me bc im like, are their hands in pockets super high up? on a t shirt? but then i moved on and forgot abt them

but then eventually they surprised me bc they walked right in front of me! in the exact same poses as they were from far away. and the left persons hands were behind their back! that's why they looked like that

and on the second page kind of in the middle there's a guy crouching. i thought he was like crying or something. but then he pulled out his phone to record the lake. so i'm like oh ok just a photo taking pose

so that's why i drew another one to show what was rly going on lol

and then there was this guy alone on a camping chair fishing by the lake. i didn't draw him but i shouldve! he was a young man and very fashionable. but when i got there he was alone. then i saw him talk to the couple of old guys i mentioned before, and another couple, and then this dad and his kid came over to fish with him for a long time, and he talked to like other ppl too

so i'm like, did he know all of those ppl??? or they're just chatting? but then the last couple said bye to him and i didn't hear what else but it sounded like maybe see u next week or something. i drew that couple

also i saw this adorable fluffy puppy i drew on the bottom of page 2. but it went by so fast i was bummed bc i didn't finish the drawing. then another puppy who looked exactly the same walked by lol!! so i was like OMG second chance and finished the sketch lol! that's why it says "x2"

did some quick character concept sketches tonight for a college game project, idk if any of them will make it in but it was some fun practice anyways

tbh i probably shouldve just focused on getting more ideas on paper but i started having too much fun with the marker brush and shading them lol, i still only spent around 30 minutes on each tho which i'm happy with

you can kind of see the bits of improvement with each one left to right. i started with just slapping whatever on, then i took the loose clothing and vine forward onto the mouse, then i exaggerated elements and pose for the fox. character design is fun i should do it more often lol

different anon - what just rubs me the wrong way i guess is the implication of the cast ‘taking over’ ian and anthony’s spot. fans back then where shamed about thinking or being worried that the cast or the content they created would be pushed away on the main channel when unscripted content wasn’t coming back, but now fans are ‘valid’ in thinking that the cast are taking over ian and anthony’s place.

i’m just uncomfortable with the insinuation (whether intentional or not) that the cast is ‘taking’ a spot thats not rightfully theirs and vice-versa. i think there’s a balance that can be made on the main channel and that there’s no need to alienate one over the other. it all just feels like that time the smosh squad got introduced and i feel like we shouldve grown past that way of thinking.

(Firstly: your last point was the reason I made sure to say I love the cast again and again, because I agree. This is not an anti-squad thing. I hated that back in the day.)

It wasn't right or ok to shame people for having that opinion, I agree. Though, I was always of the opinion that they weren't pushed away from any spotlight, the main channel just changed direction again (people were upset over cast member channels vanishing from main, but actually they were just moved to Pit - which doesn't mean anything deep, Main just changed direction and content concepts). But shaming people for their opinion in this context is never nice.

I didn't intent to make my reply to sound like the cast doesn't deserve screentime or they don't deserve a spot on main because it's "not rightfully theirs". Everyone on Smosh "deserves" a spot anywhere, it's their job after all. I think all this is messy af because we're all protective of our faves and there lies the source of lots of bad fandom discourse.

I can't put into words well what I'm feeling, I'm sorry. But I'll try again.

The age old debate in the Smosh fandom will always be scripted vs unscripted (or I&A vs Cast ig, which I hate). Scripted was on main, unscripted on the other channel(s). Scripted was I & A and the cast (minus the very beginning), Unscripted was the cast and I&A. Ideally, when things were/are going well, everyone has a place where they could shine. Some viewers preferred Scripted, some Unscripted (some, like me, both). Then Anthony left and the place where Scripted took place slowly became un-/semi scripted. Naturally there wasn't a place for I & A to shine, because I & A didn't exist anymore. It was Ian and the cast. Some viewers were sad over that understandably so. Their fave content was vanishing.

Then Anthony came back, the Scripted place became scripted again (making the sad viewers mostly happy again and other viewers sad) and cast got more empowerment on the Unscripted side (shows, the new pitch admission system, etc) while semi scripted stuff happened in the form of Live Shows. Intense Nostalgia stuff happened and then cast got more parts again on the Scripted side.

What I and others are now a bit worried about is that the Scripted stuff on the Scripted Main Channel will vanish again and be replaced by Unscripted/Semi-scripted stuff - stuff that wouldve been on the Unscripted Channel normally. And that content featuring I&A will slowly vanish or hardly be there. That might sound irrational but those feelings are also valid. When the cast wasn't in a few new sketches, they were still around Pit and Games, so we wouldn't worry over not seeing them anymore. If the Scripted content vanishes, people are worried over losing I&A content. Seems irrational, i totally get that. But it is what it is.

I'm not trying to alienate between both "sides", pls believe me. I absolute adore the cast and love many scripted formats they had during Anthony's absence.

I just want both concepts to co-exist and not be shamed for still loving I&A and the kinda neat thing of Main = Scripted feat I&A and the cast, Pit/Games = Unscripted feat cast and I&A. To me that seems perfectly balanced and idk why they would mix that up.

Pls understand that I'm not having ill intentions, I've watched Smosh through sooo many changes since 2006 and stayed watching. I personally never shamed any person that mourned cast being gone from main for a while.

(Then again, who knows what the announcement will bring and maybe I'll feel sooo silly over all this 😬)

I have a feeling you chose that wording (rubbing you the wrong way) because I used it the way i did, I apologize. I meant that it rubs me the wrong way how people have prejudice against people that like I&A and think they must hate the cast or that they shame those people.

Rosaline lived in between kingdoms where everyone knew one another but not her. She's been called many names that never bothered her and wanted to remain that way. But one change is all it took to get her attention or did it?

Knock. Knock. Knock. "Evie what are you doing?" said Mal walking over to Lonnie's and Roseline's dorm. "Come on. Lighten up." said Evie as Lonnie opened the door. "Oh hi. Let me guess Rosie?" said Lonnie. "Yeah." said Mal. "Good luck waking her up." said Lonnie walking away. Evie and Mal walk in seeing Roseline still in bed asleep walking to her shaking her. "Roseline. Its time for class. Get up." said Evie after putting the outfit she made down on the foot of the bed while Mal looking through her things. She began lightly slapping her causing ger turn away from her and looked Lonnie and Mal. "Is there anything that can wake her?" Said Evie. "Oh! Shouldve thought of this sooner." Said Lonnie going to their shared bathroom. She came back with a bowl of water with Evie backing away yaking the outfit with her. Mal watch Roseline immediately got of her bed to tackle Lonnie after throwing the cold water at her face but Mal blocked her. "Easy. We're gonna be late for class if we didnt . . . Is that a tattoo?" Said Mal seeing her arm. She saw Roseline rushed past her to the bathroom not answering her question and looked at Lonnie who was confused as she and Evie are. "Did you know anything about it?" "Evie wanted to dress up Roseline but she and her roommate left for something about sword fighting." Said Mal not really caring. "If she acts like a vk then i say we bring her in." Said Carlos. "Are you serious? We barely know her and i think shes hiding something from that tattoo i saw on her arm." Said Mal. "Could be a fake one?" Said Jay. "It was real. It didnt even smudge after her roommate dumped water on her to wake her up. Now lets go." Said Mal as they left for their separate classes. Lonnie and Roseline got to the coach's door knocking on the glass to see a silhouette of him coming. She stepped back to see him looking at them smiling. "What can i do you for?" Said Coach. "Im willing to take that teaching. But i have some rules that we need to talk about including getting girls in like Lonnie." Said Roseline. "I dont know. We have a rule about . . ." "You want a better teacher for those princesses that you call a boys team then im fucking walking." Said Roseline. "How about you stay by the side through my classes to teach with Ben watching and he talk to the counsel." Said Coach stopping her and Lonnie from leaving.

"Deal." Said Roseline shaking his hand firmly. "Good grip you got there." Said Coach. "Im gonna be late. See you at practice." Said Lonnie leaving them alone. "Here is the handbook. Read that and you wrote me your rules on your teaching." Said Coach. "Mind if i?" Said Roseline gesturing the chair in his office. "You right ahead. I'll be back anyways. Gotta get my students on the track." Said Coach leaving her alone in the office. Roseline pulled out her notebook writing down her rules that seems reasonable. She heard the coach coming back and handed it to him to read. "Alright let me give this a shot. Come with me." Said Coach. Roseline walked with him to an arena room but the right size for a gym seeing James and few other boys chatting until they stopped to see them walk in."Alright. You must be wondering about your new teacher for fencing and sword fighting. Instead of speaking with the counsel. I thought it be fun to have someone whos around your age and why not our very own students. She's goingto be here for bit until i get a good word from the Headmaster and the counsel. Though heres her rules that i want to read out loud." said Coach pulling the paper with Roseline's writing. "Roselines Rules to Sword Fighting and Combats: 1) Everyone must to be treated as an equal no matter their gender, size, age, or status. 2) Never push your opponents to their limit or cheating of any kind to where it leads to extreme violence. 3) Everyone will be assigned to do a job on said lesson without complaining, switching, or refusal. 4) In this class everybody are expected to be dressed and on time. Lateness of any time will lead to an extension to leave by the teacher. Leaving without permission will be consequences to not the student but all in the class. 5) Everyone must wear something sleeveless and fitted pants or shorts above knee level. No shirt. No shoes. No participation but be planking with weights. 6) All punishments will be approved by the teacher and Coach. If the student(s) dont do their part(s) will be carried to the office. Everybody got this." said Couch.

"Yes." said the boys. "Great to hear. Go on introduce yourself and if you need me I'll be at the field." said Coach walking away. "This is awesome." said James high fiving her. "Dude. For real?" said one of the boys. "Excuse me? Do you have a problem?" said Roseline slowly stepping forward to him. "Yeah. No girls is supposed to be here unless you're in the bleachers or a cheerleader. What do you even know about sword fighting or fencing?' said the boy getting in her face "Brad." said James glaring at him but Roseline put her hand up. "You and me. Sword." said Roseline as one of the boys tossed her one. "You need a face shield and padding?" said the same boy holding them up. "Trust me i dont need one." said Roseline getting into her stance facing Brad. "You gonna regret this, Nobody." said Brad after Roseline took off her jacket throwing it aside. "Your move." said Roseline as they began the fight. The boys including James were impressed how skillfully Roseline is dodging Brad's strikes where they started filming on her phones. Roseline then did back flip kicking the sword out of Brads hand getting her feet to sweep the sword from under his feet knocking him onto his back with the swords pointed to his neck. They cheered and clapped for her as Brad got up to attack her but James and other boy held him back. "You two let him go. i got him. Lets talk to the couch about what he has to say?" said Roseline. Brad didnt say anything but slam his shoulder against hers as he past her. "Go do your practices until i get back." said Roseline. She handed James the sword as they gathered around talking while doing what she told them to do.After finding him talking with the team for upcoming game Roseline waved at Carlos and Jay then shoved harshly to the ground by Brad who past her smirking until Jay grabbed his shirt. "Jay! Back off." said Roseline as Carlos gave her hand to pull her up. "Whats going on?" said Coach as Ben joined in concerned. "You seriously letting this bitch be the new fencing teacher?" said Brad. "What happened?" said Ben looking at Roseline. "He didnt like having me as his teacher because im a girl so I challenged him. Kicked his ass then tried to kick mine but James and the ginger held him back before he did." said Roseline. "He also pushed her down from behind." said Jay. "Thank you Jay. We got him." said Roseline. "This true?" said Coach looking at brad. "Yeah so " "Youre benched until i get another player." said Coach. "What?!" said Brad. He turned to slap Roseline until she grabbed his arm flipping to his back. "And Three weeks detention by doing planks. Right now he can put the Crockey equipment away on his own." said Roseline. "Nice." said Ben. "If you boys excuse me i got a class to teach." said Roseline walking away. She walked back to see Lonnie talking to James and the boys until Lonnie ran to her embracing her into a hug. "Whats going on?" said Roseline. "The boys posted that video of you going against Chad's distant cousin. They also told me what he tried to do. Are you okay?" said Lonnie. "Im fine. He did however push me from behind and Jay tried to hurt him but i told im back off. Long story short he is benched, three weeks detention doing planks, and putting the Crockey equipment away alone." said Roseline. "We got your back." said James. "Thanks." said Roseline. "Im here for practice too if thats okay with the Coach." said Lonnie. "Lets just keep this as a surprise. Grab a sword. Everyone line up." said Roseline taking a sword for herself facing the class. boring rambles and useless commentary below.

i was trying to write my emo shit before i began the ROLAL in the middle. i wanted to simply cross it out, but that'd ruin the page, with the need for it to be cropped out in pictures/hidden if others must see. so, to cover up, i wrote "MUST ROT".

i didnt sketch it out with a pencil beforehand, and the letters may feel awkward. the T looks a bit silly -- like the nose of a cat. because of the way the words go over one another i gave "ROT" thicker lines and darker shading.

already shared this one. it was actually sketched yesterday. i finished up the inking and erased the pencil today.

these are stupid thoughts taken out of context and stitched together. all of this, like "MUST ROT" above, is done without pencil sketching beforehand.

the full thing should be "MISERY INCLUDES HATE AND DESPAIR; PEOPLE HATE MISERY, AND YET THE SHARED HATE BRINGS THEM TOGETHER".

the next page was all sketched before using ink. everything except the lals on the far right was started yesterday.

the first to ink the outlines of, this lal is one that goes down not in the best way. the spacing is whack, id try to fix it, but each new attempt was worse than the last. i did the "shading" after the middle lals so that this one wasnt too bland (i shouldve kept the letters empty).

middle lals. bottom one was inked first, and turned out way better than the top lal, even if it was off-center until i added the speech bubble. im not even going to touch on the top one; i left it unfinished because i messed up the lines that i was drawing while really annoyed from my environment (class).

each of these lals was sketched in a seperate grid, toplals looking like )++( where by the middle vertical the letters should squish, and bottmlal being like (__) where the horizontal line curved in the middle was supposed to make the lines spread out. you decide if thats what it looks like.

nothing much to say about the righties. they were done today in an attempt to fill up the page. ro-lal is ugly and the perspective is incorrect. mock tribrolal wouldve been a nice touch if it was more in style.

overall, this looks bad. and so was expected; im trying out a new style. id sketch my throwups with more soft and circular shapes, so this is my first time actually giving the edges a go. instead of ovals and squiggly lines in mind, the letters were blended with trapezoids, diamonds and rectangles, while also trying to not be too stiff. i didnt use any references as one can easily tell. it looks amateurishly, and im satisfied with how it is as an actual thing, not a try-hard toy attempt.

maybe soon ill try this out on a wall. but first, practice in the 'book.

i attempted Fight Knight

apparently this game has a pretty fucked up controversy attached to it. i didnt know about it before i bought it and its been too long to get a refund. my bad, shouldve done more research into it before buying, i own up to that. but while i have it, we may as well see if its a good game regardless? maybe its worth pirating

so the intro is very... unfinished? you can still see the sketch lines, like its still an animatic. usually i love stuff thats rougher around the edges, but i dunno, ive seen plenty of stylistic animation that looks rough and sketchy while still looking more professional. still, i like the colour use, and the dithering pixel effect is cool, so not bad all in all. the music is pretty dope too

i have hit every button and i dont know which satisfied the 'punch to start'. apparently middle click is bound to... taking a screenshot? i thought it might be an issue with how its not in full screen, but uh... the full screen windows button doesnt full screen it, it just moves it to the corner. what the fuck. its the space bar? to punch??

okay i wasnt expecting this to be grid based. i expected like, a melee fps? and i guess this is still technically that, but it moves like a dungeon crawler. and uh, yeah, im not really feeling this combat. i hate that everything is on your left hand? and the movement is so bouncy, i feel like im in a rubberhose cartoon. its giving me a headache with how vibrant the colours are too...

so, every combat is an encounter that changes your controls. im gonna compare this to psychopomp cuz they have similar control schemes: imagine if every time pompy ran into an enemy, you teleported to a 2x2 box, the enemy was in the middle of the two tiles, and you killed everything in two hits. yeah, the encounters are jarringly easy, and i feel disoriented whenever i enter combat because the controls feel juuuust different enough to fuck with me

i was so worried this game wouldnt have healing items, but i luckily found the apothicary after my first instance of backtracking to the boat. it makes sense to go back and save often, but its still a pain, especially since the walking is so bouncy and colourful, it feels like a baby stim video but more painful. also, its been like 10 minutes and my thumb is already sore. im not just blindly mashing (even though thats a surprisingly effective strategy), or else id be using the v key like the tutorial said. im trying to mix up my punched with more rapid attacks and charges. why one hand?

okay so ive got a formation. pinky on shift, ring on A, middle on D, pointer on V. this is awkward as hell and im already cramping but i dont see a more elegant solution. immediately after doing this i figured out that holding v at all times and parrying is the optimal strategy, it beats everything ive seen so far with no trouble

okay, no, i cant do this. i usually try to make it a few hours into a game before i figure out if ive bounced off of it or not but this one made the experience fully clear in the first 30 minutes. which is one thing i can compliment it on, at least

the gameplay would be piss-easy without the stupid gimmick of having to do everything with a single, non-dominant hand. the first obstacle of a stupid maze that makes you hold shift (map button) while you navigate it, and then when a random incounter breaks your focus youve gotta hold down the V key and hit shift every once in a while. its the perfect mix of tedious, disruptive, and physically uncomfortable, all while contributing nothing to the game other than... ingredients? what, for more moves? nothing has defeated my impenetrable shift-v so far, i doubt thats worth it. even if it was, im not wandering around lost trying to see if i stumble upon less dead ends anymore, fuck this. why one hand?

dont try this game, it is indeed not worth pirating. i cant imagine a reason why i would suggest it to anyone for any reason, even if the dev wasnt (allegedly) an abusive creep. the closest it gets to being cool is the style, but everything feels so... much. the colours lack restraint once youre in gameplay, and trying to move around makes everything bounce and sway so much i feel motion sick. im gonna go take a tylenol, i feel like i just watched an old mickey mouse cartoon that had every frame filled in with the mspaint fill tool on maximum contrast mode.
