I was having a conversation with @herefortheclout19 yesterday and I started to wonder something about the Startouch Elves.
Tumblr media
It all starts with this sentiment - the idea that the Startouch Elves might have genuinely created the Earth.
I'll get back to this.
Now let's take a look at the Startouch Elves. Or more specifically, their names.
Now we only officially have two of their names, but its plenty to work with for this theory.
First, we have "The Stern One".
Tumblr media
Second, we have "The Merciful One."
Tumblr media
What do both of these things have in common?
They are a single personality stereotype.
Now I don't believe they are simply one layered people, but they are given their name based on what their main ideology is. Having one simple emotion and trait allows them to govern "their world" with their lens of perfect ideals. Ruling with an iron fist is easier when you remove the majority of your emotions and ties to reality.
So what went wrong?
Aaravos and Leola didn't conform to their stereotypes.
Tumblr media
Aaravos and Leola rejected their sentiment of being single layered stereotypes, allowing themselves to be open to the emotion of love.
Going back to the earlier statement of the Startouch Elves creating the world, I think about the idea that they did not in fact create the inhabitants, but rather its core. Life just so happened to emerge because the ecosystem could sustain it overtime just like in the real world.
The problem is, one type that evolved - the humans - did not connect with the Primal world that the Startouch Elves had created and therefore, they felt they did not deserve their time.
They did not conform to the perfect world they had created.
Whereas the Elves did connect to the Primal Sources and were therefore, worthy.
But what does that have to do with stereotypes?
The Startouch Elves see people as kind of like robots. A robot must be built with the perfect image of the creator in mind. But what happens when a robot isn't perfect? I's either scrapped or kept working on until it's considered "perfect".
Its the same sentiment.
While I don't believe the Startouch Elves were directly responsible for the creation of the Elves and the humans, they just so happened to begin existing on the earth they'd created and if such beings were to walk among their creation, they needed to conform to their level of perfection.
So the Elves did. They connected to the magic of the world.
The humans didn't and the Startouch Elves looked upon them with contempt because of it.
If they weren't good enough to be born with magic, why should they get help with it?
And so:
Tumblr media
Aaravos and Leola - who didn't conform to the stereotypes of the Startouch Elves, who chose to be multilayered people - suffered at their hands because they showed love and compassion to those who didn't fit into their world of perfection.

WELCOME HOME MARCH 9TH UPDATE SPOILERS!
One thing I don't think people are talking about enough is Wally's phonecall and the song choice of "Toyland". I know what Eddie went through is certainly the meat of the update, and while I haven't picked it apart myself, I've read a TON of very interesting theories on it. And some of which I agree with, so for redundancy's sake, I won't dwell on it for long. Whatever happens next, I know our beloved mailman is not okay-
But this post isn't about him. I bring up the song choice of Toyland because I find the lyrics to be an interesting parallel to the puppets "waking up" to the real situation they're in, whatever horrors that may be. The fact that Wally's singing it, and that we know he's been the first and only puppet with full awareness and with the ability to contact the outside world, makes the song feel a little somber upon a relisten.
The song describes Toyland as "childhood's joy land", and "once you dwell within it, you are ever happy there". It reminds me of the world the puppets inhabit; made for children and a place of warmth and joy. Then, the song describes "once you pass its border, you may ne'er return again". I think this signifies how Wally woke up from the happy puppet world. It represents him self-actualising. He can't fall back under the illusion, because now he knows too much. It'd be impossible to go back.
The saddest parts to me are in the second verse. "When you've grown up, my dears, and are as old as I, you'll laugh and ponder on the years that rolls so swiftly by, my dears" It represents just how much time has passed since the shutdown of the Welcome Home show. It's been almost 50 years. The years are passing so fast to him because it's the same old every day, and he can't help but laugh along because there's not much else for him to do. And besides, we've seen what happens when Wally experiences negative emotion. He has trouble processing it.
Besides the song, I also find the line "It's so quiet during Homewarming" to be quite odd. Homewarming is their equivalent to Christmas, right? That's supposed to be a time of togetherness and cheer. Music, laughter and merriment. But he describes it as "quiet" because everyone's busy. That seems like an antithesis of what Homewarming should be. Why is it just him and Home for so long? Why is the neighbourhood divided during what should be the liveliest time of the year? This might be a factor as to how the neighbourhood's getting distorted away from its original teachings and character. Instead of a lively cast of puppets, it's become cold and quiet. Eerie. Wally saying he doesn't want to hang up the call makes me think he feels very lonely. He has friends, like Barnaby, but he's separated from them for long periods of time. I feel like the phone calls are him trying desperately to connect to someone before he's dragged away again.
I also find it odd how he's usually so busy if it's just him and Home. Just what is he always doing, if he's not with his friends? I know that the phonecall ends because he has his adventure with Barnaby, asking around the neighbourhood for what Homewarming truly means, but what about the previous times? He always seems to be in a rush. And what do we hear before he hangs up? The creaking of Home's door and windows. It's like his own home is isolating him.
That's all I have on Wally. Maybe I'm just repeating what people have been saying for a long time, I don't know. But thank you to anyone who sat down to read this! I appreciate it :)

Geppetto really knows how to manipulate P, so he can be his good boy. If you wonder what I mean, it's about his 'talks' with P. Like when he explains certain things to him, like the cathedral or the malum-district (i hope i wrote it's name right). He always makes sure to tell P "You are good boi etc. etc. etc. Go there and help the 'poor' people".

Theory crafting time, I’m not sure if this will gain much traction. Mostly crack theory. Spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen. Sorry if there is formatting issues, I’m on mobile.
So, I’ve got this weird little theory in my head after taking a break from JJK to watch The Apothecary Diaries. It’s another great show but it got me thinking about Sukuna’s origins so I began speculating. What if Sukuna was born in a brothel?
What if a Jujutsu Sorcerer ended up spending the night with a courtesan? And said courtesan got pregnant? Again, this is all crack theory, but I like to think that Sukuna is the product of a one night stand sorta situation. The Sorcerer wanting nothing to do with the child or courtesan and the courtesan still wanting to keep the baby, or rather, babies. Maybe the courtesan was punished for her pregnancy and given less to eat, forcing Sukuna to devour his brother in the womb for strength. And when he was born, he was born in his OG form, like a conjoined twin situation. Or maybe he was malformed from a failed abortion… Maybe Sukuna’s mother grew to resent him for what he was, turning her back on him. There is also the potential that the brothel would also reject him for his looks, abuse him even…
It would make sense as to why Sukuna is all about going after the women and children, why he wears a woman’s kimono, perhaps why he shows human connection through fighting and violence. Could also help to explain his more cultured side as well.
Women and children he goes after in particular, outside of just being weak, but also because he sees little value in them from growing up in a place where women were a commodity and children were a burden.
He wears a women’s kimono with the wider sleeves for his arms, yes, but also maybe it’s just him trying to mimic those around him. Be beautiful like a Courtesan.
Him showing connection through aggression and violence is what he may have grown up learning. That hurting others and fighting was a twisted form of “love”, because it is all he ever knew so to speak. He struggles with any other display of affection or “love”, because it challenges what he believes to be true. It denies that the abuse he suffered was love, if that makes sense.
As for his more cultured side, Sukuna is a regal guy, with some class. He’s got a bit of poetry to him, he dresses nicely for what he likes to do, and he is pretty big on food as well. I don’t know, it just seems like something he might have learned early on in a brothel.
In conclusion, maybe Sukuna grew up in a brothel. That’s just my take, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. I am writing this pretty late at night but this is just my theory on it.

So I was listening to some edit audios as one does on YouTube when this idea came to mind for an AU.
What if, instead of blowing up the Daycare, the Bloodmoon twins blows up Ruin (or just most of him)?
They don't trust him
Ruin's clearly just using them (even Bloodmoon themselves said they are puppets once again)
They're not family (they don't even like him)
(i wish we have more Bloodmoon's pov than we already have. Maybe that's what October could give us? Also this au won't work for canon for obvious reasons, but I thought it'd be cool to see Bloodmoon snaps and they literally take it out on Ruin.)
And maybe for once, Bloodmoon could feel free.
Normal fans: we wanna see Sun and Moon happy and free from bs!
Me: Bloodmoon's snap, revenge, redemption!
(bit off topic, but someone on the Discord server mentioned that if our Eclipse comes back then he should get a redemption arc too. Now I want both Eclipse and Bloodmoon twins going through redemption arc. Also this could lead the entire family VS Creator for the grand finale fight, js)

Im curious as to what your thoughts/headcanons are on what Kaede and the rest of the class see when they complete death road to despair in chapter 1
That is an interesting question!
I don't think what they see is any different than what Canon shows us, however. I think that what they see is the Secret of the Outside World, AKA, the world after it's bitter end. Maybe they don't remember it because Monokuma wipes their memories of it, I'd have to re-watch that cutscene and how it ties into the loops of going through the death road, but I digress.
I don't think they really had a chance to escape. Not really.

Deltarune theory that I need people to think about for a moment.
Monsters don't bleed.
Tumblr media
You can probably figure out where this is going yourself, but if you want to hear my thoughts and evidence, it's all going under the cut.
Monsters don't bleed. We're reminded of this at the start of and throughout Chapter 4, through interaction with the bunny kid when you knock their door, and the funeral book about monsters turning into dust.
Tumblr media
Conversely Susie has expressed a lack of understanding about this concept, implying she's bled before and doesn't find it weird. Implying she's used to a culture where blood is normal...
Tumblr media
...but not dust? She didn't seem to put the pieces together that the dust in the 'snowglobe' (horrific implications btw) could be Gerson's body until Kris pointed it out to her. After which point she reacted with horror, as if she hadn't expected it, or didn't know that's how it worked?
Tumblr media
Let's think about Susie for a moment. What do we know about Susie, now?
We know she bleeds. They made a point of showing it even though Kris bleeds in the same chapter and it's not visibly shown. We know she's considered a brute, more monsterish than those around her. She lays into this fact, playing it up. We know she had a rocky childhood. She's moved houses multiple times in the past. She's given up on trying to make friends.
She doesn't have a tail (or at least, her tail is a nub), and she feels embarrassed about that fact. When equiped with the jevil's tail, she'll say "figured I'd grow one eventually."
Kris used to wear a horn headband in the hopes they'd grow horns like their family, eventually. When Susie sees a picture of them with the headband, she quietens uncomfortably once she realises why.
Susie HATED Kris's guts, even before chapter 1. (From the spamton sweepstakes:)
Tumblr media
Whatever they said made her back off and leave. I think she saw herself in them. The outcast. The odd one out in a town full of something else. Something that can't be understood. Is it any wonder she changed her tune when she found out Kris was not her enemy, but understood her? That Kris would leap to defend her, instead? That she thought, surely, this kid hates me for what I am just as much as I hate them for what they are? They don't hate me? They don't think I'm disgusting, a freak of nature, better off abandoned?
Why have we never seen her parents?
Why is it that, when we look away from Kris, we can only imagine "what Susie is up to"? Why no one else? Why can we see her, but not exert enough control to impact what she does? Why is our soul able to fight on her behalf without Kris's involvement? Why does she seem to exert control over the story even when it's clearly trying to be bent in favour of the player's decisions?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Monsters don't bleed.
Susie is a hybrid.

Is it just me but the fact that both Sophia and Geppetto want you to help others, made it even harder to never think Geppetto could be 'evil'?
I know it is wanted by the game that we believe Geppetto means well. But as someone who knows the book and know that the fairy also helped Pinocchio... It makes it even harder.
Not sure if what I wrote makes sense. 😂

ok wait. hallucination/dream jackie actually brings up a great point! shauna is possibly the worst communicator out of the yellowjackets! she deceives, she lies, she covers things up and then gets mad when people don't know what she wants. like girl, jackie had NO idea that you didn't want to be called shipman. she didn't know you liked jeff, she didn't know you resented her or how inferior she made you feel because you never fucking told her! the crux of like 99% of jackieshaunas issues stems from the fact that shauna is incapable of communicating issues before they bubble over into fits of rage! which shauna knows! because when she told jackie she was bothered by the dress/randi hookup thing in season 1 jackie immediately dropped it! COMMUNICATE SHAUNA!!! pls for the sake of literally everyone COMMUNICATE!
