I woke up alive this morning not merely living, but alive a full moon filled my springtime skies bringing light to weary eyes at peace with myself and loving all flying fealessly unafraid to fall filled with joy this wondrous day and with lovingkindness for all life I pray

Unafraid

I am not afraid.

As I am cradled in this black ocean, in these dark waters at the edge of creation, I know that we will meet again. The albatross has fallen away from my broken body and has drunk deeply of that ageless quiet. Though we are apart, our souls have built and burned bridges just to be near one another again.

We are like passing comets, you and I; silent passengers wandering amidst an endless night. The light we cast will be the lighthouse that guides us and those who come after to eternity. There, upon that sandy earth that was once promised to us, the ink of our stories will run and bleed and come to rest. There, upon that shore, we will finally come together.

3183. Limits or Lacks

This is "Limits or Lacks." Passed time makes it matter.

After a while, sleeping life becomes more interesting than waking life. It's not what you can do in your dreams, it's what can be done by doing nothing. What is possible but doesn't have to happen. Nobody else will understand your limits or lacks. You have to be the one to flip the switch at night and welcome darkness back. You have to be unafraid.

"Penetrative Voltage"UNAFRAID

名古屋のヘヴィメタルバンドによる、唯一のフルアルバム作品。2008年作品。どこを切ってもまさしく「ジャパメタ」ど真ん中。DOKKENあたりのスタイルがベースになっているのかな。その上に被さる、情念のこもったヴォーカルと外連味たっぷりのメロディ。SABER TIGERを思わせるところもあり、若い頃目黒界隈で散々聴いてきた昔懐かしい音だ。目新しいところは全くないし特段キャッチーでもないけど、この音になじみ深い方も多いのではないだろうか。そういう方にはお勧め出来ると思う。僕も好きです。ドラムの方は後年JEALOUS WILDに参加に参加されてたようで。
