GiMMi3 LXVIII

I wrote this song based on my experiences with crushes that I later, very later, found out were actually me being in limerence. Since the age of 12 I’ve had a pattern of having one celeb crush a year (during the summer) that I would essentially stalk over. It was a problem. If I couldn’t find something new abt them I’d experience mental and physical issues. I remember once when I was 13 I had a crush on a certain marvel actor in which I thought I was having a heart attack bc I couldn’t find something new abt them. It really was so bad. I’d read every fanfic I could about these crushes and if I couldn’t find new ones, I’d write them myself. Looking back I don’t understand how I survived and kept my composure. You know that thing people say about ‘if u hv a crush on someone for like 4 or 6 months that means u love them’? Well I think I experience an obsession that is the equivalent to love. It was painful, genuinely an addiction. This is how I know I can never do drugs or drink bc I’d probably kms in 2 weeks or smthn. I wouldn’t be able to control myself. Anyways, I wrote this song for anyone who could relate to such severity of crush, especially anyone who has never had their crush reciprocated like me. They start of fun and innocent then you wish you never existed just to escape them. Ok thank you.
