Hi icy, I’m in 12th grade who wanna pursue computer engineering. But I’m kinda confused of where to start, I know the most basic thing and Math. Is it too late for me? Where should I start?
Hi, I just want to say thank you for reaching out to me. Take it from someone who failed pre-calculus to becoming one of the best in class. It gets better it just needs a lot of work. I used to be a history major so switching to STEM was chaotic. I would advice on starting from the basics. Build your math foundations, and make sure you can do them. Math builds on top of each lesson. So if you start in the middle, you'll really get lost. Start small though. Think of math as a fun gam\e, I find that changing your mindset helps. Remember that it's okay to ask for help and to take breaks. Through hard work and changing my mindset, I now find math really enjoyable and it's one of my favorite subjects. Take it easy and take it slow.  “When is the best time to plant a tree?” Answer, “Ten years ago.” Question, “And when is the next best time?” Answer, “Today.”

Hiya~!
Just wondering how's your software development internship? 💗
Hope it's not too hard and everyone is friendly and willing to help you! 🤗
Hi Loa!
I'm doing great! I started my internship and I am also now part of the Computer Science Tutor Team in my college. I am so busy but I am learning a lot! Everyone was really friendly and everything was not as scary as I thought it would be. We got this. :)

Hey there!!
I am preparing for give entrance exam for my dream engineering college but I have lost all my motivation and haven't sat on my study table for last 3 months.
I need some advice...
How can I get back on the track??
hi, one of the biggest advice in my Introduction to Engineering course was that "as a STEM student, you really need to learn how to learn." (okay that wasn't word for word)
basically, learn how to study and effectively learn how to manage new information so that it sticks.
Some stuff i do : - i never go to class without warming up (reading about the topic) - i take notes inside the book (for me, it's useless to take notes on a notebook, i just put a lot of sticky notes on the book and annotate the hell out of the book, most of the info is already there anyways.) - i use whiteboards! - mind maps saved my life - i make sure to take care of myself. i prioritize my mental health. it makes me more efficient. - my great habits keep me from falling off. (read atomic habits) -i'm really into self-improvement and i know i deserve good grades. (when my mind is so sure that i deserve good grades, i put in the work)
you have to put in the work and remember that discipline will take you places that motivation cannot. i hope this helps! :)

hi! icy here! ♡
i am currently studying computer engineering as my college major. i have great interest with the intersection between design and engineering.
in my free time, i love to learn (just learning in general). some of my favorite hobbies are ballet, reading books and playing video games. i also love being creative... i also really like anything related to astronomy and self-improvement.
academic interests: engineering, computer engineering, ux/ui design, human computer interaction, design, ai, robotics, astrophysics i have degrees in history (focus is on american immigrant history), visual communication design (graphic design) and liberal arts.
i don't think i'll ever stop learning.
i hope that sharing my journey would help and inspire someone out there. ♡
icy's (big sis advice portion): i know it may get overwhelming sometimes but here is a reminder that you are right in the middle of something you used to pray for... be kind to yourself and trust the process...

my summer vacation have been so busy…
some of the things i have been up to: i started a ux/ui bootcamp, moved to my first apartment, started driving lessons and i’m currently focusing on front-end development.
a gentle reminder:
it’s only delusional until it’s done.

Can you advice online materials for Linux learning? I’m kinda curious… because I want to develop myself in Cyber Security 🥺
what i used when learning the command line / linux / unix: The Linux Command Line by No Starch Press Codecademy (Learn the Command Line course) i find that reading documentations and doing tutorials on my free time really helps... learning about the linux/unix history might also help... i did take this topic as a college class, so my professor's lectures were really helpful...
