why is it okay to hate queer men right now. like it's not okay to hate all men but why is it literally okay to hate queer men. why do people encourage each other to hate gay men, bi men, pan men, polyamorous men, trans men, genderqueer men, nonbinary men, genderfluid men, trans women who are also men, bigender men, aromantic men, asexual men, intersex men...

that's literally all queerphobia. why is it okay for people to announce that they're literally queerphobic right now? and if you tell people "well they're men so they're not actually queer," buddy, you gotta dig your head out of your ass. queer men are queer whether or not you like it and they're not here to hurt you in specific. if you proudly hate ANY queer people, you are being queerphobic. care about it.

this trans day of visibility, i want to highlight and celebrate intersex trans people.

society ignores intersex trans people and tries to erase this overlap. and also ignores complex intersex experiences around gender. society denies our intersexuality, or our transness, or both. even in queer circles we are often seen as "basically cis" or "basically trans" or "intersex aka own separate species that can have nothing in common with other queer people."

intersex trans people are often denied gender affirming care. intersex trans people get their bodily autonomy attacked both as intersex and trans. even in trans accepting circles like gender clinics, we often face ignorance and incompetence.

people feel entitled to know and question our anatomy, physiology, transition goals, identities — everything about us.

our bodies belong to us. our identities belong to us. our experiences belong to us.

we deserve bodily autonomy. we deserve representation. we deserve recognition. we deserve celebration. we deserve pride.

i keep seeing people on here hating on being femme4femme whether subtly or outright - and often they’re other lesbians. i fear femme4femme is amazing. as is butch4butch or femme4butch or any other lesbian identity!! i don’t care if ur butch femme stud trans lesboy he/him lesbians whatever - you shouldn’t be hating on your own community! i’m sure all of you know how hard it is to accept your identity as a lesbian, and to hate on other lesbian experiences (or even your own) just makes it harder for lesbians to accept themselves. ‘it’s okay to be a femme lesbian if you’re only into butches’ or similar just makes it harder for a femme who’s only attracted to femmes to accept their identity. no matter your lesbian identity, you should not be hating on other lesbian experiences. anyway rant over, i love lesbians 💓
