To celebrate a little, I decided to do a redraw of my first ever marauders fanart, which just so happened to also be my first real partaking in pride ! Having previously been pretty quiet about my identity, I’m really proud to now have enough confidence to share this with you. I hope you all get to enjoy this month as well, no matter how small the celebration 🤗 ( and for those out there that unfortunately don’t get that chance, just know that you’re loved and appreciated regardless ❤️ ).

As for the drawing in itself, I’m actually a lot happier with the result than I would’ve expected ( even though some parts were absolutely torturous to finish 🥲 ). I must’ve changed some probably insignificant details a hundred times, but honestly I think it was worth it 😭 Oh and just for the sake of comparaison, you can find the original drawing as well, it’s the first image ( + a questionable bonus that was added with the post at the time 😂 ).

i've noticed that dorcas had been getting left out alot. with slytherin skittles content especially. i feel that after pandora got super accepted in the fandom, dorcas was sort of pushed to the side, and it makes me a bit sad. so here are some dorcas headcannons!! shes a halfblood, and knew barty before school started. barty and her are very close and there are alot of theories around the school that dorcas is a gold digger, because she had three super rich friends. but barty takes on the gold digger mantle, very loudly and proudly, when he and evan get together (or when he and regulus get together.) dorcas' hair is very often subject to change, but for most of sixth year she had her natural color (black/rlly dark brown) straightened her hair and cut super blunt bangs. that was like her rebound after she made a bad desision with color or cut. she has a frog, a golden poison frog named Flax Seed Oil. regulus calls him mr.Oil, evan and pandora call him flax. and barty calls him 'the awful frog'. but dorcas calls him his full name always.

dorcas has a really good relationship with her adoptive parents.

speaking of, her parents and aunt were killed in a house fire when she was two. but she has very good documentation from her mother scrapbooking and her father being a muggle photographer. she knows her uncle, but doesnt see him much. she and marlene didnt date during hogwarts years, they met in the order, and started living together. (they are in love.) she was the first person killed in the friendgroup, everyone went to her funeral. she, pandora, and regulus were the only people who had a funeral. pandora was cremated, regulus was put in the familys tomb, and she was put in a graveyard by her parents house. pandora kept flax seed oil and gave him to pandora when she turned eight.

There is such an interesting theme in TTPD of Taylor wishing she had read the signs and seen the clues in some songs (icfh, the prophecy, ttpd) so she spends the rest of the other songs on the album warning other people of bad things happening (thr albatross, cassandra, Clara Bow)
