Pray
Change a single letter and change the word game
I want to play a game with you all.
You have to make a new word by changing only one letter of the last word.

Am i the only one who believes the term "little guy" is about vibes not gender? I am from the midwest where "guy" is a gender neutral term so it could be a regional thing

Also, she was not locked up. The stairs existed. She was free to go down them. She did, even. No one stopped her except herself.
Those Nesta fans that simply reducing Feyres decision in ACOSF to “she locked Nesta up so she wouldn’t get hurt..hmmm” piss me off.
No, she relocated Nesta to HoW so Nesta could hurt HERSELF. There’s a big difference in being paranoid of a threat that has not even happened and being over preventative to the point you are neglecting the damage you are doing to a person and giving a person time to work through her shit and that person repeatedly choosing to harm themself instead and deciding to take action because she’s on the border line of starvation.

I hope everyone understands, when I say “most endangered habitat on earth”, I mean temperate grasslands.
They’re more endangered than tropical rainforests, coral reefs, the arctic tundra, all of those go-to environments that get more of the spotlight.
Where I live, maybe 25% of the prairie remains in a natural state and that number is dropping. Even these fragments are mostly missing the keystone species that maintain their health, like bison, wolves, and prairie dogs. I know this is the case for other grasslands like the pampas and steppe as well. Vast lands empty of many species that used to call them home.
If you live on temperate grasslands, hold onto them tight, because they’ve been exploited like no other land and most people don’t even know how far the devastation goes.

I think that says something about how Az sees himself. He's in love with Elain because she suppresses the part that makes him unique. I think Gwyn would be better for him in the long run because she will force him to deal with the way he views himself.
When SJM chose to point out this:

And then a few pages later in the same chapter she chose to point this out: (It is Gwyn’s breath)

I knew that Gwynriel was endgame.

I just bought some of these and I can confirm that they are very nice. They do slide around a little but they are very soft and super absorbent!
psa to all women:
i just found this super cool reusable menstrual pad that will save us thousands of bucks
Tumblr media
apparently an average woman spends about $120/year on pads and tampons and an additional $20/year on medications for cramps and other period side effects. since we menstruate for approximately 40 years, we spend (40 times 140) =  $5,600 for our period over our lifetime.
IMAGINE WHAT YOU CAN BUY FOR $5,600?!?!
which is why i turned to menstrual pads. eco-friendly, economical and healthy
also, im saying goodbye to everyone in the public bathroom knowing im on my period
i got the pads here and they have all the info on their website!
also check out other eco-friendly products with their info here!

On Discomfort and Morality
My father finds gay men uncomfortable.
He's told me before that it's like a knee-jerk for him. Something he doesn't consciously control. He sees two men behaving romantically, and his body reacts with mild discomfort.
In the 1960s, when he was in high school, most of the boys in his form thought he was gay on the simple fact that he wasn't homophobic. He wouldn't participate in insulting queer people, he didn't care if someone was gay, he wouldn't have a problem hanging out with gay people. So people thought he was gay. That's how prevalent homophobia was in his formative years.
When I was 10, my dad told me very seriously that Holmes and Watson were gay. That it was obvious from the literature and the time period that they were meant to be a gay couple. When I was 14 and I came out to my parents as bi, when my mum was upset my dad ripped into her for it. Told her that she was being stupid, that it was my life to live how I wanted to and that she needed to get over herself.
My dad formed my views on censorship: that being that it was completely ridiculous and thoroughly evil. He didn't believe in censorship of any kind. If I asked him a question about sex, he answered it honestly. When I was 12 and I asked him about homosexuality, still young and uncertain, he told me that there was nothing wrong with it. That it was just how some people were. That there was likely an evolutionary reason for it. And that for some people it was uncomfortable on an instinctual level.
He taught me that just because you're uncomfortable with something, doesn't make it wrong. He also taught me that most people don't understand this.
I see a lot of this on the internet as of the last few years. The anti shipping movement, the terf movement, the anti ace movement. It all stems from discomfort that people have crossed wires into believing means wrong. Really every -ism and -phobia out there stems from this same fundamental aspect of humanity.
The next time you see something and you automatically think it's disgusting, or wrong, or immoral, I invite you to ask yourself: is this actually wrong or does this just make me uncomfortable?

To a homophobe, even the most chaste kiss on the cheek between gay people is exactly as disgusting and degenerate as a hardcore BDSM orgy hosted in the town square, so you may as well ally with the BDSM orgy enthusiasts to throw bricks at the cops who are going to try and arrest all of you together anyway.
