SYNPOSIS Talking to strangers wasn't your thing. Especially since you liked to spend most of your alone time in the art studio that your art teacher owned. The same teacher who surprisingly had a daughter of her very own. A cute one at that who resembled a puppy.
Pairing: Ahn!Yujin x Fem!Reader
Genre: fluff, romance, friends to lovers (sort of), wlw, males dni
Word count: 2.9k+
Authors Note: I know nothing about art if you could tell <3
Tumblr media
You took your paintbrush, dipping it into the wet pastel color on your palette. Taking it out once again and brushing it on the newly already traced canvas, and repeat. You've been going at it for what seemed to be forever, unknowing to the curious gaze of another person. Truth be told, drowning yourself in art makes you forget that reality had been a thing. Well — at least that was what your art teacher had told you. Finally finishing up your piece and smiling at it in satisfaction, a voice interrupts your quiet atmosphere.
"I didn't know my mom taught talented students." You jumped, looking to find the owner of such a delicate voice.
Turning around, you made eye contact with a girl. Looked to be around your age too. She looked like a puppy but what caught your eyes the most was the beret on her head. Seems quite like a fashionable person. Probably an idol if you may.
"Mrs Ahn has a daughter?" You looked quite perplexed.
The latter smiled, nodding her head to your question. She tried to lean against the chair beside her without even looking at what was on it, jumping at the same when you shouted for her to not lean on it but it was already too late. Blue paint was now her hand and she looked as though she was now filled with nothing but regret.
"The blue paint is washable if that's what you're wondering." She wordlessly nodded at your words.
"I guess I had been caught blue handed?" She wore a dorky grin, making you chuckle at a joke that you would have been judging if someone else said it.
It was rude to go back to painting while a guest was here — specially Mrs. Ahns daughter. The woman was basically like a mom to you too. She taught you to paint at such a young age. Hell you even once had a time where you'd go straight home just to fangirl at the thought of your favorite artist(who had retired at the time), teaching you things that not a lot of other artists could. In your eyes, she managed to capture the beauty of nature — which you had admired for as long as you can remember.
"What are you trying to paint?"
The sudden question made you wince, cursing yourself for getting so jumpy. You looked at your own painting before looking back at the puppy-like latter. "Whatever comes to mind." A simple answer, but you managed to make it work because now, she looked even more interested in the piece of artwork. "Looks like the park around here. Do you mainly focus on painting nature?" She asked once again, a soft smile replacing her curious gaze.
You were honestly speechless, unsure as to why she was curious about your artwork. If anything, she was the first person to actually take an interest by asking questions. Everyone else? They only admired it, simply only for the beauty of it and not for the meaning behind it.
"I do. I think it captures the meaning of life very well." You tried to sound so sweet with your tone, not wanting to sound robotic.
The sweet smile on your face made her eyes dilate, slowly reddening her neck. She had heard about her mom's favorite art student her whole life, training as an idol before becoming one and now that she was able to meet you, she felt a little too conscious about herself because you were honestly the most prettiest person she's ever laid her eyes on. Your hair had been blonde, looking freshly dyed because it looked as though it had been glowing. It makes sense, honestly. Being an artistic person must mean you feel the need to color everything the way you want it to look. It complimented you well, she thought.
"Have you ever decided to hang your paintings on the white walls of a museum?" She cursed herself eternally for wording it that way.
You pondered for a few seconds, nodding afterward. "Yeah. I have two hung currently in the museum downtown."
Her eyes widened, knowing exactly what museum you were talking about. "No way.. wait. Is it the riverish one with the cute koi fishes?" Riverish one? Koi fishes were on spot thought. You raised your brows as she fished out for something out of her pocket. "I actually took a picture of that a few months ago." She proudly stated, showing a picture of your art piece.
What caught your eyes the most was how pretty she looked, smiling besides your art piece. Your cheeks reddened, realizing how the both of you had been admiring the wrong thing.
"I guess I can call you a fan?" You joked.
She immediately nodded, happy to meet the person who created the art piece that made her smile for days. She didn't know what you laced into that art piece but it made her happy, seeing the koi fishes and the happy-like atmosphere. Plus the color looked more happier than the rest of the paintings in there. No offense to the other artists but it looked bland, emotionless and as though the only effort they made into it was to make it look good. She was no artist herself but she believed that you painted your whole emotion into your canvases.
"I actually adm—" Before she could finish, the door opened. "Oh! I see the two of you have already met each other. Yujin why didn't you tell me that you were gonna drop by?" Mrs. Ahn asked, a faux disappointed look on her face.
"I wanted it to be a surprise?" She answered, although it was more of a question.
A smile adorned your lips at their interaction. It was truly what they called a mother-daughter bond. Mentally sighing, you wondered how your life would have been if your mother wasn't so busy with the company that she had worked so hard on to form. It was big yes. Which you hated because even until now from your childhood, the only time she'd talk to you was when it was a reminder on how she needed a heir and not a "street" artist. How endearing of her. You began to pull at the corner of your canvas, feeling somewhat unsatisfied.
"Y/N?" You paused your action, turning to face Mrs. Ahn. "You can take a break. How about the two of you roam the city and have fun?"
A smile broke out. "I'm fine with that. I think I've been in this studio for too long."
"What time did you get here? I forgot to add but I'm Yujin by the way." Yujin asked, including the important detail last.
Yujin. You let it roll off your tongue. What a pretty name.
"I'm Y/N, and I got here around five in the morning." She looked shocked, her mom having a neutral reaction because this was a usual thing for her.
"Impressive." Yujin acted as though her schedule didn't include waking up at that time in order to get ready for her fully booked schedule. "Real impressive. Up for getting soft drinks?"
A giggle entered her ears as though it was music to her ears. What are you planning to be now? A music artist? "I actually prefer milk tea. Taro specifically." She nodded, mentally noting it down.
With that, the two of you made your way to your new destination. Her mom offering to stay in the studio in order to do a few cleanups.
The peaceful atmosphere was the only thing that caught Yujin off guard. She had expected a cute café to contain a lot of customers but then again — you seemed like the extroverted types who liked to indulge themselves inside a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Tapping her finer against the table without even knowing, she looks around in awe of the whole place. Maybe she should bring her members here.
"Are you gonna wear that forever or?" You jokingly asked, taking a long sip of your drink.
Yujin tried to ask what you were even talking about before feeling the mask on her face. Since there wasn't that much windows surrounding the two of you and because everyone looked to be in their own world, she took it off without hesitation. "Here's your drink." You smiled as she smiled back at you, muttering a 'thank you'. You took your seat in front of her. "So.." You began. "Do you always wear sunglasses and a mask whenever you go outside or is it just a one time thing?"
It was a joke obviously but that didn't stop Yujin from choking on her soda. She apologized, taking the handkerchief that you had offered before harshly wiping it against her face. "I thought you knew?" A frown formed. Clueless as to what she meant by that.
"Cute." She chuckled. "But I'm an idol basically."
The way she said it so casually made you feel small. Of course, you thought she was fit to be one. Just never expected her to actually be one.
"Why didn't I realize that.."
It was honestly the first time that a person she interacted with didn't know what her job was. You intrigued her. Leaning against the palm of her hands, she studied your features as if you were an art piece of her own. Clearly, you were made with time.
"I'm flattered. You find me interesting, but my eyes are up here." You interrupted her thoughts, causing her to discreetly cough because she was, in fact, not looking at your eyes but your lips. "I know. I was just admiring your collar. Very cute design." She tried to brush it off.
Your collar did look cute. She liked your fashion. It wasn't basic, definitely unique. It was almost as though you had just come straight out of a fairytale. Her clothes were exactly the opposite. So modern and so expensive looking. You would have thought that she was a runaway model if she hadn't exposed her actual job. As time with each other grew, she began to notice your small habits that you didn't even know you had. You poked your tongue through your left cheek whenever you'd feel flustered. You'd bite your lips whenever you were thinking. Your pupils dilated whenever you talked about something that intrigued you, and what caught her eyes the most was when you smiled at every dorky joke she made.
You radiated sunshine energy, and she wasn't complaining. She herself would radiate that energy — at least that was what most people told her, but you were so different. She wanted to be with you. Possibly — if she could, then she would. Your sweetness was overfilling her more than her soda did.
"I've actually created a lego flower, actually," you said in a proud tone, fishing your phone out of your purse. "I think it took me three days?"
She admired the pretty Lego set, eyes not missing out on a single detail. You looked so proud, too, that it would have been horrible of her to not show a single smile. "It's cute. Who was it for?" She unintentionally asked.
"For?" You laughed in a non offending way, of course. "I'm single as one can be. I don't think the thought of dating would be too good for me, honestly."
I'm curious.
"Why?"
You froze, wondering why she was even curious. "Uh.. I've actually never thought about it. I usually spend my time in the studio. Or at home when I have to."
She expected for you to have someone in your arms by now. But you being single made it honestly worse. Your beauty was out of this world and she knew that. Pretty sure she spent most of her time listening to your voice instead of talking. That is — unless she was the one who was questioning you for what you liked and what you disliked.
"Then would it sound selfish of me to say that I'd like to keep that lego flower for myself?" She became straightforward.
You didn't catch onto her intentions, leaning towards the action of rubbing your hands against your nape. "I don't know why you think it'd be selfish. I'd obviously like to gift it to you." Her cheeks reddened, feeling even more satisfied with your answer.
"I'll keep an eye out for it, okay?" She wanted to feel assured that you would send her the Lego flower that spent days just to finish. "Okay."
Obviously, she was not gonna sit back and take away your progress without giving you something in return. Maybe a new set of palettes, along with paint, would do just the right gift. Yet again, you seemed to have a lot judging from how you basically grew up painting. What would you have liked? She thought.
It was simple. You obviously wanted someone who you could call a friend.
"Should we go now? I'm finished." You sent a dopey smile.
Yujin immediately nodded, taking your drink in order to throw it in the recycle bin. The two of you began to head out, trying to think of more things that you could do with each other. Just like in the animated shows, a light bulb formed above Yujin's head, showing that she, in fact, had a good place to go to.
"Let's go," She took your hands and interlocked it with her before speeding up her pace. "Follow me."
You did so, cheeks once again reddening at the sudden physical contact.
"The park?" You looked around, wondering why she wanted to go here.
It was pretty. It was totally your thing, but it was also random. Yujin hurriedly made you sit on the bench, hoping that you had also brought along the items that were needed in order for her plan to work.
"Did you bring your paint kit..? Or however you cute artists call it." She asked with sparks in her eyes.
You chuckled, nodding before taking out the things that she had requested. Your notebook and a pen. It was obviously not a 'painting kit', but she obviously wanted something that involved art. "I expected a paint brush and a canvas.. but that'll do." She clapped her hands together in excitement.
"Okay, can I borrow those?" You gave it, forgetting that you were supposed to be protective of it because it held every precious memory that you drew. From your childhood even.
Yujin stood up in front of you, trying to think of where she should start. You let out a 'ahh', finally realizing what she had been trying to do the entire time. First, she looked at your eyes. A sketch added. Your jawline. Another sketch added. It went on for what seemed like an eternity until she got to part where she had been waiting to draw because it allowed her to stare freely at it without you thinking she was weird. Which you obviously would never think. Yujin stared right into your lips, pausing her sketch because now — she had been tracing it in her mind. Her strong gaze sent chills down your spine, wondering what stopped her from sketching.
"Uh.. yeah right!" She awkwardly laughed, continuing on with her sketch.
Odd.
Finally finishing it up, she showed it to you with a proud smile. You were an artist and had high expectations, but the sketch that she presented in front of you made you giggle. With a fake huff, she hid her sketch of you behind her back. "I was expecting a compliment.." She pretended to act as though she was annoyed by your reaction.
You couldn't help but to snort. "Yeah. It's cute."
"Because it's a drawing of you," She lazily smiled, "which I dare to say that a drawing of you from an unexperienced beginner like me would make it seem as though it wasn't my first time."
It was a compliment. She was complimenting your unearthly looks. You couldn't help but turn red, looking elsewhere in fear of having to see the stars in her eyes whenever she spoke highly of you.
"I think that if I was an art created by you, I'd be the one admiring you back instead." Sincerity had been evident in her tone.
You usually had no trouble flirting back — but the girl was on a whole nother of leaving you speechless. Butterflies that you didn't even know existed were now all over the place. Was she doing this on purpose? You didn't know but you liked it.
"Well," She smiled innocently, asking if it she hadn't just made your insides flutter, "We should head back to my mom's studio. I'm sure she has a few students already."
You nodded as she handed your notebook with a wink. She was about the become the death of you.
"How'd it go?" Mrs. Ahn asked.
You had been a blushing mess and Yujin had been the cause of it. Yujin simply smiled, "It was great. I get why she's your favorite student." The sudden urge to run out of the room was big.
Yujin's mom smiled, showing a resemblance of Yujin's smile. "I'm glad. She really doesn't like to go out often with other people around her age."
"Oh?" Yujin looked over to you with a cocky grin.
You jokingly rolled your eyes at her, not wanting to raise her confidence. "I'll be with the other students.. um, helping out with their painting skills." You informed.
"I'll get going too mom," Yujin sent a smile at her mom before hurrying up in order to catch up with you who made sure to take big steps so she wouldn't.
"Eh? When was she able to paint?" Mrs. Ahn asked, clicking her tongue after realizing that her daughter was now head over heels for her favorite student. What a troublemaker.

sana - pottery mishaps
word count: 258
sana x fem!reader
Tumblr media
you rewatched 'what is love' a countful of times and you just adored the pottery scene with sana. when you suggested that the two of you recreate it, sana gladly agreed. any chance to have some close contact with you, she'd say yes in a heartbeat.
as you felt her hand wrapped around yours, you kept molding the clay, her head propped up on your shoulder. you turned away from the clay as you glanced over at her, "hey there cutie."
a smile started playing at her lips as she leaned in, the tips of your noses grazing one another, "hi."
you almost forgot about whatever you were doing as you felt a pair of lips on yours. the soft and supple feel that you will never get tired of. she leaned in more, wanting more as you backed away, giggling at her.
"come on, we still got something to mold."
she whined in your ear as you rolled your eyes. you glanced back over to her hands on top of yours, both covered in wet clay, shaping the clay into a very... phallic object.
"you know sana... maybe we should make something else."
"hmm...?" she hummed, "maybe we should just do something else."
"oh? like what?" you teased.
"like we-" one kiss on your cheek. "go home-" another kiss on your nose. "and..." another kiss to your forehead. "have some fun." one last kiss on your lips.
now it was your turn to let out a small whine as she backed away, "screw it. let's go home."

Drunk in love
Synopsis: The girlfriend you've had for a few months had only showed but a little emotion to you. At first, you thought she asked you out as a joke until a little video was sent to you by one of her friends.
Warnings: A little make out session
Genre: Fan-fiction, fluff, gxg, non idol AU
Pairings: Hirai!Momo x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
A lonely night with just you sitting on a chair, looking out at the beautiful city view from the balcony as the peaceful wind howled. Your 6 months girlfriend, Momo had already left to celebrate her birthday with her friends. Though, you didn't mind since the awkward tension between the two of you had already dissolved the moment she walked out the door.
Ding!
Your eyes furrowed in confusion at the sudden text message that showed on your screen. The person from your contact name read 'Momoring'. You opened up the text message that she had sent, hesitating afterwards since you'd now just realize it was a video.
"Could it be.." You didn't wanna jump on the overthinking wagon but situations like this usually occurred when someone was cheating but after putting all your trust in Momo, you thought it was best to click on it.
It showed a recording of Momo sitting on the couch with a pillow on her hand, whining and mumbling about something and the only clear thing you heard was your name.
"Momo, say it again more clearly!" Nayeon, probably the one recording since you could figure out the evil laugh that she had let out whenever she'd scheme something evil against all her friends.
Momo shifted against the couch, eyes still closed yet she looked like she had enough energy to pull a prank against someone. Truthfully speaking, you had never seen this side of her. She always seemed to wear a stone cold mask that hid a precious smile behind, her friends have always told her that she had a horrible case of being an introvert but oh how bad did she want to show you the love and affection you deserved.
“Y/N.. please don’t go..” Momo began, arms flailing around as if she was on a spaceship. “I still haven’t gave you a ring pop to prove that this marriage was true!”
Though you were laughing at this newly found cutness of her, you couldn’t help but realize the little tone of embarassment she was hiding—Despite being drunk. Guess she still has the bits of pride that she would stubbornly never let go of.
Her friend group began laughing as Momo cried onto the pillow, mumbling more words against it as if it was you she was hugging. Nayeon, who had held Momo’s phone poorly while recording, adjusted it to face her in order to dramatically whisper a ‘you better thank me later’. Though you did feel bad for the older girl, you had let your mischievous thoughts take control of you and replayed that video for far too many times.
-
After drinking a whole bottle of champagne, you were still surprisingly sober despite feeling a little woozy. The video Nayeon sent had stayed on your mind—rent-free and you weren't complaining. It had already passed an hour before Momo would come back like she would usually and the rain that had occurred 30 minutes ago was the only thing that worried you.
Yes, you were most definitely not ready to take care of a drunk Momo but an even more drunk and wetter Momo who could possibly have her chances of getting sick in the morning along with an headache felt like some sort of nightmare to you.
Ding dong
The door bell rang. You hurriedly ran to the door and made eye contact with your girlfriend who luckily had been carried by Jihyo, the only sober one in the party you assumed.
"Y/N! Thank god you're not asleep. I'm sorry about her being wet right now, I couldn't control her since I had been taking care of the others and when I found her, she was outside cursing the universe for her lack of physical touch and affection." Jihyo basically rapped.
You smiled, grabbing onto Momo who's mouth was now nuzzled against your neck. "It's fine, at least she wasn't hurt. Thanks for bringing her here Jihyo!"
Jihyo nodded with a smile, heading back to her own car. Probably a long night for her since she had to drop off the other girls to their own apartments. Though you didn't want to admit that you liked the idea of taking care of Momo, you had let out a giggle when she accidentally tickled you the moment she tried to adjust her head against your neck in order to find a comfortable position. You had been too close, too close to the point that you accidentally inhaled the foul smell that Momo gave after drinking too many beers.
Luck came around when you brought Momo at ease to the shared bed that you two never really shared since she got too flustered to the point that she would make excuses in order to sleep on the couch. As you were about to grab a warm towel to clean her after using a dry one in order to not get the bed wet, she grabbed your hand and pulled you onto the bed—using the rare opportunity to wrap her arms around you before nuzzling her nose against your neck.
"Momo let go, I need to grab a warm towel." You got ready to scold the older girl in order to clean her up and for making you wet.
You cursed to yourself for wrapping a towel around her in order to not get the bed wet but you should have known she was gonna pull something like this.
Momo sighed, feeling content at the feeling of finally getting to hold you. "Later."
You had finally realized that she had been faking the whole drunk thing the moment Jihyo gave her to you. After a whole 20 second of trying to escape her grasp and failing, you decided to stay still and enjoy the new feeling. That only lasted a few minutes when the exact foul smell came back, making you pinch your nose.
"Okay, yeah no. We will continue this if you decide to take a shower." You managed to softly kick Momo off the bed.
She pouted but nonetheless, still got up in order to shower. You stayed in the shared bed and closed your eyes, wanting to sleep after a long night of taking care of that big baby. You didn't hear anything, not even Momo getting out of the showering—you were absolutely too focused on the nice feeling of getting a rest along with the coldness that came from the air conditioner.
"Now you're hurting me, are you seriously trying to sleep without me? It is my birthday and we haven't done anything together.." Momo chuckled, drying her hair with a towel yet you didn't notice it due to the fact that your eyelids were shut closed.
You laughed, liking how it wasn't as awkward as it'd used to be when it was just the two of you. "Dunno, thought you'd sleep on the couch."
It was a bit quiet after you said that, you thought you had just hurt her feelings but what you didn't know was that Momo had already schemed an evil plan. She had jumped on the bed and made herself comfortable, you flew into the air for a bit before landing again—letting out a yelp.
Now that the two of you were laying down, you told Momo to get closer, eyes still closed. Despite finding the action cute, she got closer and you finally said what you had wanted to say the whole day.
"Tomorrow if you want.. we could go on a date to the zoo."
She smiled, liking the idea of finally getting the chance to spend time with you. Momo pulled you close to her and once again, wrapped her arms around you—almost as if it was a sign to let you know that she liked the idea of going on a date with you to the zoo.
"Doesn't that mean something else too?" Momo asked hopefully.
You opened your eyes and made eye contact with her. You raised your eyebrows, letting her know that you were confused and wanted her to continue.
She rolled her eyes jokingly and opened her mouth to finish what she had to say. "Birthday girl wants a kiss."
To say you were shock was an understatement, she definitely caught you by surprise and now you were turning red thanks to Momo.
Momo puckered her lips jokingly, making you roll your eyes but since you hadn't given her a proper birthday—you leaned in and kissed her in order to wipe the smug look she had on her face. This time, you had caught her by surprise and since you were the only one with your eyes closed, things changed when Momo leaned in too in order to gain more access to your lips.
It turned sweet for a bit until she bit your lips, making you open your mouth due to the little pain she gave and that was her opportunity to slide her tongue in. Surprisingly, it did get heated at that very moment—it went from a sweet birthday kiss to a make out session but none of you were complaining.
Later after few moments of hair tugging and saliva sharing, you pulled out first in order to gain oxygen and so did Momo who swore she could have lasted longer if you hadn't stopped the kiss. But again, she wasn't complaining.
"If I had known you were a little freak, I wouldn't have initiated that kiss!" Momo pouted but still managed to defend herself. "But you love me, plus I heard first kissed are a lot sweeter when tongue is involved."
You rolled your eyes at her dorky antics yet a smile was the only clear thing she could see in her point of view.
"No one says that but fine, whatever. Happy birthday, I can't believe this is the first time you've pulled like kind of stunt after being shy for months." You giggled at your own joke.
Momo smiled, running her hand thought your hair as if she was trying to caress it but failed miserably, making your hair a mess and you swore you saw a smirk form. "I guess it's the effect you have on me."
"Believe me, I would have initiated something like this if I knew that I would have managed to date a goddess like you." You were a bit flustered at her smooth flirting but acted like it didn't have a single effect on you.
"Also-" You flicked her on the forehead, now wanting to sleep after a long night of having to take care of a drunk and then a sober Momo.
"Sleep."
Momo did eventually listen and slept, arms wrapped around you with her nose nuzzled onto your neck—you guessed that this new habit of hers had occurred because she liked the vanilla scent you gave off. Without realizing, the two of you had fallen into a deep slumber with a smile on Momo’s face as she had finally did something romantic with her partner.

nayeon - midnight stroll
i know that she has like a film camera in the pic but just pretend its a polaroid also this is my first writing fresh out of my little break (im still kind of stumped) so it might be just straight nonsense sorry -r-
Tumblr media
she watched her breath fog up the windows as she glanced around the store. step by step, she walked around as she continued eyeing the different suits and dresses through the windows.
window-shopping never hurt anybody. she thought.
until it did.
she practically had her face stuck onto the window as she walked by, eyes glued to the dress on display until she took a wrong step, her entire body almost tumbling over and onto the floor until she felt a pair of arms frantically trying to pick her up from behind her. she practically got picked up and plopped down on her feet as she heard the voice behind her.
"hey are you okay?" you asked her sounding somewhat panicked. as she tried to stand up right and turn around, she couldn't help but look down at the floor. how embarrassing was this? she just nodded her head, still facing downwards.
"wait... do I know you from somewhere?"
she cursed herself as she just had to be a klutz and get someone's attention. she didn't want this to go any further so she might as well face you now. just to give you a quick photo and walk away. yeah. that was a good choice. finally deciding to glance up, she gave a quick smile before introducing herself.
"hi. i'm nayeon from twice."
"oh... that's cool. i'm y/n. nice to meet you." you said nonchalantly as you stuck out your hand.
she blinked a few times to make sure she wasn't dreaming. that was it? no autograph? no photo? letting out a breath of relief, she shook your hand back.
"yeah... nice to meet you too."
you gave her a tight lipped smile before letting go of her hand and speaking up, "so... miss nayeon. what's got you out here so late?"
"i wasn't too busy so i thought i might come out and see the city then... yeah. what about you?" she asked softly, feeling even more embarrassed recalling how she almost fell flat on her face.
"i love walking around at night. it's peaceful... well until a pretty lady almost falls then i have to save her." you teased with a knowing smile on your face.
"please. i had it- wait. pretty?"
you let out a small laugh, which she definitely wouldn't mind listening to a lot more, before asking, "don't you get that a lot? i mean with your job and all."
"yeah but it... sounded nice when it came from you." she said mumbling the last part.
"oh?" a sly smirk making its way to your lips, obviously hearing her, "did i make you feel special?"
and all you got in response was a hard smack on your shoulder from her massive hands. "shut up."
you winced as you rubbed it before walking away from her, "you owe me some medical bills for that. going to the hospital right now."
she unconsciously walked beside you as she looked around her and spoke up, completely ignoring your remark, "say y/n, do you want to take a picture?"
you stopped and glanced over at her, "of me?"
"yeah. i think you'd look good and i have a polaroid camera on me right now."
"uh... yeah sure." you pointed at a spot on the sidewalk, "what about here?"
she nodded happily as she pulled out her camera from her purse, you already getting into position. "alright..." she said as she stuck out her tongue in concentration, "okay, 3... 2... 1..." click.
when the picture printed out, she told you to stay where you were and quickly pulled out a pen from her bag and turned her back away from you. you just looked at her in confusion from a distance before she sauntered her way on over and told you she had to leave and quickly handed you the polaroid.
"i'm sorry y/n, i have to leave but... i hope we'll talk later okay?"
"uh sure..." you said as you waved the polaroid around. and before you realized it, she walked away then a thought occured to you. how were you supposed to talk to her later?
you just stared down at the polaroid in your hands disappointedly. you missed your chance. but upon turning it to the back and reading it, you couldn't help the smile that tugged at your lips.
call me y/n! xoxo xxx - xxx - xxxx

Dirty laundries
Synopsis: Laundries on a Saturday was something you hated doing, especially since your "beloved" roommate didn't help out most of the time. Your hatred for that changed the moment you met a cute stranger.
Genre: GXG, non idol AU, fluff, strangers to lovers
Pairings: Im!Nayeon x Fem!Reader
Authors note: Fixed it so it doesn't look crappy LMFAO ☠️
Tumblr media
"Momo! Your socks are so stinky I might just leave them here." I complained to my dear roommate who had looked comfy, currently sprawled out on the couch.
"That's nice Y/N, maybe they crave the lavender scent." She lazily replied.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes at her reply. 'At this point I'd best just pray she forgets her socks exist'
It didn't take too long for me to reach the laundry room that the school had built for the students who slept in their own dorms. Luckily, it was a Saturday meaning everyone had probably been gone to visit their families. Otherwise, it'd be a lot crowded.
"Shit! Jihyo is gonna be mad at me." An unfamiliar had basically yelled, mumbling curse words right after.
I could see that she was struggling but I had my own share of clothes to finish and ignored it. I realized that I would still have to help the moment we made eye contact and she smiled almost as if I was some kind of life saver.
"Hey you! Could you please help me here? This is my first time doing this.." The stranger in front of me whispered the last words in a guilty tone, refusing to make eye contact.
I took the opportunity to study her features and realized how pretty she actually was. It seems she caught what I was doing when she sent a teasing grin.
"Staring might have you catch feelings." I was taken aback at her sudden straightforwardness before trying to read her expression in hopes that she was just joking.
I crossed my arms and gave myself time to think about either leaving a pretty stranger to do work that she had never done or selfishly do my own and live my whole life in regrets.
I gave a reply, given she had been patiently waiting like one of those golden retrievers. "Sure, but you do not wanna be combining pink and white unless you like the color."
She couldn't help herself but chuckle, almost as if she thought I was joking. She stopped the moment she realized I wasn't.
"Oh you're not joking.. I'm Nayeon by the way, you?" She asked, taking her hand out in hopes of having mine shake hers.
"Y/N." I shortly replied, shaking her hand.
Nayeon nodded, repeating what I had just said to make sure she wouldn't get it wrong and I swear I could have seen the cutest pair of bunny teeth's.
"Well captain, how's this gonna work?" Nayeon had asked me, still showing her bunny teeth's, almost as if she was flexing them.
I gave her instructions and she followed along like an expert. It didn't take too long for the machine to wash her clothes and have her worries disappear.
"I'd better get to mines," I tried to head to the original spot that I had chosen for myself but failed the moment she grabbed onto my hands.
"Huh?" She ignored the confused look on my face and opened her mouth to say something. "Maybe I could help you? You did help me."
I nodded, feeling a bit lazy after explaining what goes where to her and I gotta admit it was kinda frustrating. She did an amazing work, almost as if I didn't help her at all and it didn't take too long before the machine to also spin.
"Thanks." I sighed, wiping the sweat that managed to slide down my forehead.
"Don't mention it." She calmly replied without trying to wipe the non-existent sweats off of her face.
I took my basket, getting ready to leave until she once again stopped me. "Hey by the way, I was wondering if you'd like to hang sometimes?"
I smiled for the first time at her question. "Are you saying there's better places than this?"
"Mm.. maybe." Nayeon laughed at her own reply and I couldn't help myself but laugh along.
Finally managing to calm ourselves down, we both gave each others phone number and as our hands brushed against one another. That was probably my cue to thank Momo and her lazy ass.

Being a kid who had always dreamed of a romantic partner, you'd figured that your sister's best friend Sana had been the only fit one since she had always managed to make you smile.
After school as you'd both walk home, hand in hand. You'd tip toe to your advantage and whisper something into her ears. She raised her brows and pretended to think about it.
"I dunno, would your sister be happy about it?" She jokingly asked.
You gasped dramatically, exactly what an innocent child would do when they couldn't have what they wanted.
"You can protect me, do you promise to be my amazing girlfriend by the time we grow up?" You asked, pouting with stars that were starting to form in your eyes as you held out your pinky finger.
She chuckled and intertwined her pinky with your smaller pinky. She'd know that agreeing with this could benefit her with being able to protect you and by the time you'd both grow, you'd both forget such a silly promise. A simply silly promise.
Years grew by and you'd grow into a beautiful teenager, so did Sana. She did well in protecting you from icky boys who tried to get right through you for your body and face. And though she did some romantic things for you here and there, you simply shook it off and blamed it on her extra kind personality.
"Hm he seems kinda cute but she likes people who are good at cooking" You told Sana and she nodded in reply, both of you swiping past people on tinder, secretly using your sisters computer in hopes of getting someone for her.
"Him? I mean he seems like a great type of person" She asked softly as her hand brushes against yours.
You jokingly scoffed at her. "You know how picky she gets."
Sana dramatically sighed at your response. "Oh I'm dearly sorry for not knowing your sisters type in men my queen."
"That's okay my trusty minion, not everyone's perfect," A laugh had been finally let out. "In fact, I think I found the right one."
"He looks like those handsome evil dudes in those k-dramas." "Oh shush!"
Although those small encounters with you have always been her favorite, she remembered the biggest moments, still rooted inside her head like a beautiful plant that's already bloomed.
"Are we seriously spying on your sister and her date?" Sana raised her brows, though you couldn't see it from the sunglasses she was wearing and the theatre room was too dark to see in besides the movie playing.
You rolled your eyes. "Oh come on, you said the guy looked like those evil handsome characters in those k-dramas!"
She stared at you in disbelief before telling you to hand her a popcorn, eyes widened when you unknowingly threw the whole thing onto her lap since yours eyes were occupied by your sister and her date.
"Oh great you made a small mess." She sarcastically said with a sigh.
A few sorries here and there slipped out as you intertwined your hand with hers in hopes of keeping her mouth shut and it worked. How? Throughout the whole show, her cheeks were tinted pink.
"You're both dorks, seriously. Building a Lego while it's raining?" Your sister raised her brows at the both of you.
"You should know Sana hates when it rains along with the horrible thunders that come with it! This calms her down." You fought back in defense.
She teasingly stared at the both of you as if you were hiding some kind of secret. "Really? And since when did you and Sana build Lego's whenever it rained? Must have done this quite a lot of times for you to say that."
You groaned at her reply as Sana ignored the both of you, her hands shaking from the loud roar of the thunder as she tried not to cower from her fear. You still had been arguing with your sister when the corner of your eyes saw her shaky hands so you held her hands behind the almost finished Lego and acted as if nothing was going on. Surprisingly, she had calmed down a bit and this time, the corner of your eyes couldn't catch the tiny smile on her face.
Even so, you both grew up even more and things had started to change when you had met her artistic friend, Chaeyoung. Sana loved to ramble about you to her but she never told the younger latter about the crush she had on you.
As your circle of friends grew even more, you still managed to make time to hang out with Sana and she loved every minute of it though she couldn't ignore the loving stare you gave to Chaeyoung every time she drew something for you. Even if she ever tried.
Sana couldn't help but feel as if you were growing feelings for Chaeyoung but her feelings didn't shrink, she felt that it was better for her to use this opportunity as you were still single to pour out her feelings.
She sprayed the perfume you loved onto herself and drove to the nearest flower place with a smile on her face.
'Roses, basic but beautiful' Sana had thought as she stared in awe at the flowers.
She drove with one hand while the other fidgeted the end of her hoodie and bit her lips as the nervous thoughts that she hoped wouldn't appear had clouded her entire mind with 'what if's'.
When she finally reached you with flowers in her hand, her heart broke along with the tears that threatened to fall as she looked up at your balcony to see both of you and Chaeyoung kissing each other with your eyes closed and a smile on the both of your faces.
Maybe she was too late to even confess, tired to think when sad negative thoughts had appeared along with tears. She drove away, throwing the roses into the nearest trash bin while doing so, a bit quiet if her engine wasn't so loud and hiccups that joined after the tears. Not realizing that you had noticed her driving away, along with the flowers that she had thrown away.
Although you may have forgotten the promise like she hoped you would. Her heart can't take the fact that she was the only who didn't. Maybe Cupid took her 'silly' promise and changed it into another one of his failed attempts.
