#yes yes a million times yes
Still, it's a little sad that PJO is a live-action and not an animation, especially with Arcane and Spider-Verse turning the world of animation upside down. And honestly, I wouldn't have minded just TLO being animated, because, imagine how insane the hidden frames would go.
Like the scene with Clarrise and the drakon, and she's running at him, and for a few frames, she changes into Achilles, Silena into Patroclus, and the drakon into Hector, or Clarrise and Silena changing into their parents for a split second.
Or whenever Percy feels the curse of Achilles working, he, for a frame, changes into Achilles or Luke.
Any appearance of Luke is him flashing between his younger self, his current self, and Kronos.

never thought about the implications of frederick not seeing annabeth for five years. imagine the last thing you have of your daughter is a broken window lock and an unmade bed with cobwebs hanging from the headboard. and then reuniting with her five years later. and she's a foot taller. and her hair once natural is now braided and upkept. and she learned how to tie her shoes without you. and wow do you even know your daughter? and then she turns to face you from across the field. and her eyes are still the stormy gray that you remember. except they're now calculating and cold. searching for the slightest sign of a threat. and your heart sinks to the bottom of your stomach. because look what you put your daughter through.

i feel like percy is the person that people bring with them when they need to go somewhere or do something potentially dangerous. or more realistically, he’s the one who people’s loved ones tell them to take with. it just makes people feel better knowing percy is there. you know what i mean?
sally has a meeting with someone who sounds a bit weird (and paul can’t go)? paul tells her to bring percy.
paul needs to go to a really sketchy part of town? sally asks him to bring percy
piper got a weird anonymous note and needs to go meet them at a location? annabeth tells her to bring percy
leo has to go get some magic machine part from a really shady dealer? piper tells him to bring percy
frank has to go on an unofficial quest to investigate some shady legion history, and hazel has to stay with camp? hazel tells him to bring percy
and it’s NOT because any of these people can’t take care of themselves. they are all strong and brave and badass, and can handle anything. but for one, percy is intimidating as hell. his “wolf stare” sends literal gangs running the other way. you can avoid conflict before it even happens, because no one is messing with percy. and second, percy just makes you feel safe. his presence is comforting. not only has he been through all the demigod-hero-world-saving shit, and is powerful as hell, but he also grew up in new york city. he can handle pretty much any situation. plus he’s super sweet and funny, and you can always count on him to make you laugh and decrease your anxiety. and he’s always got your back. he takes care of the people he loves.
he’s just the best company. for so many reasons.
when in doubt, bring percy

one night, percy slipped out of his cabin, unable to sleep because of nightmares. he was planning to go to the lake when he noticed a hunched figure sitting by apollo's cabin. as he approached, percy realized it was will.
will cried in percy's arms that night, telling him how tired he was. tired of being the head healer, tired of being in charge of the cabin. he just wished he had big brothers again. and percy realized how early will had lost his big brothers, through percy's own fault. how early will had basically lost almost all of his siblings.

I think it would be cool to have two siblings share a parent on the mortal side but have different godly parents. For example they’re a mastermind bank robber or something like that and has the older child with Athena and then have the younger one with Hermes. Think of the possibilities here for maximum family drama and have a mortal visited twice by the gods but different ones.

Also what if when Percy died it killed Grover because of the empathy link and then annabeth loses 2 of her oldest and closest friends
I know we give Uncle Rick a lot of flak for his cliffhangers and killing our favorite characters. However be glad I didn’t write the series cause I would’ve brought tears. For starters there would be no chance Percy gets a happy ending. If I didn’t kill him in TLO, I definitely would’ve done so in BoO. I considered killing Annabeth instead but I think for maximum angst, Percy is much sadder. However maybe it would be enjoyable cause despite his immense powers, he still failed to save who mattered most to him. But I think him dying is better because then Annabeth can have a crisis about going through so much, looking for him for so long, just to lose him again, but this time for good. This obviously would’ve broken Annabeth leaving her in a catatonic state for an unknown about of time. Idk if I’d have her throw everything into her work or completely giving up on everything and just sitting on the porch of the big house staring into the distance. I also probably kill off Jason and Piper in BoO as well. The 3 would’ve died fighting the giants in Athens then the rest of the book would’ve unfolded similar to how it did. I might’ve kept Leo from dying but only so he could stew in the death of his 2 closest friends. Furthermore I would’ve 100% killed off Frank in Tyrant’s Tomb. I also would’ve killed a minimum of 1 named Apollo camper in The Hidden Oracle or maybe Tower of Nero; maybe both. I doubt I would’ve killed off Will though, probably Kayla or Austin. I also would’ve killed one of the Stoll brothers in TLO for maximum angst. Initially I was thinking Travis but I think Connor would hit harder cause then Travis could carry the weight of failing to protect his younger brother. On the plus side I probably would’ve had Katie consul him and maybe have them get together. Just think of the angst had the series ended on much darker notes.
Fortunately I’m an awful writer so alas this is not what happened nor shall I be writing fanfiction where it did.

Every cat knows it. Every cat fears it. An ancient beast that moves without legs, that can shriek and devour at the same time. The greatest foe the feline kingdom has ever faced- Vak'Yoom.

You are a Demon Lord. You’ve finally managed to capture the Hero, the Head of The Church, and The King. You have them all sitting in front of you tied to chairs. “Now,” you calmly pick up an ice pick, “Which one of you has been scaring children telling them I will eat them?”

Aliens have captured you, and placed you in one of their nature preserves. However, they have sorely miscalculated on two issues: The amount of calories needed to keep a persistence predator sated, and the lethality/brutality of a hangry human.

“No Man can kill me!” the demon jeers, taking in the carnage it has caused. “But I am no man,” you proclaim, ripping away your helmet to reveal your feminine features. You strike, your blade bouncing harmlessly off the demon’s hide. “Did you… did you really think that’s what I meant?”
