I finally put up my art print of Aristaios (god of beekeeping, but also SO MANY other "rural arts") and I feel so much peace looking at it 🥺 I love him a lot, he deserves this incredible art ^-^

friendly reminder that the gods are not stagnant, they're not 2-dimensional, they're not simple. what they are is complex, complicated, and well- rounded beings. a lot of the time they're only viewed for their "good qualities" and what have you. i don't care if i sound like a broken record, acknowledge the divine are complex and inexplicable.

Hi all! Soooo, I recently got a magic 8 ball. For divination. Yes I'm am serious lol. It's is something that I've have been considering in the back of my mind for a while now, and I finally bought one. So! I wanna to try doing/to try and/to do some readings with it 👀 Totally free. I'm am just playing/playin around with it rn! And I honestly don't ever plan to charge for readings ^-^ Of course a magic 8 ball is a yes/no reading, but it might come with some sort of intuitive hit, and I'll will include that if it comes up. Since this is a new thing, I would really appreciate some feedback so I can improve.

I suppose this question might be more on the recon side of things, but I wanna to hear from anyone with relevant experiences 😊🙏🏻 I've have been thinking about trying to reach out to Athena again, even though I never heard from her in past attempts to reach out, since I'm am picking up jewelry making again. And thinking I might continue to honor her even if I don't get a response. Because piety, etc. So my question is, what are your thoughts or experiences with this sort of practice? Did/do you keep it up long term? Was it too disappointing to never hear back and you eventually stopped? This also kinda applies more to people who do have godphone/can sense gods/entities around them, but I am also interested in hearing the experiences of those for whom not "hearing back" is a regular occurrence! Also this goes for any Hellenic god, not just Athena, I'm am asking about the experience of the practice, not a deity-specific request.

No no, I understand you completely! I haven't made any prayer beads yet, but for other jewelry, I have been sticking to stainless steel for everything from eyepins to pendants. Ideally my jewelry would be completely hypoallergenic, but that is just...prohibitively expensive rn :/ But I am also not willing to go with any cheaper metals for the same reason.

Wherever I look, they are...at least 20 bucks, and usually more. Do you just buy those expensive ones? Is that why pagan prayer beads are so expensive?

Right like there’s an obvious correct answer here and everyone is just ignoring it. Cloning is a real thing with a lot of research behind it. A sapient robot that’s identical to a human though? Now that’s some twilight zone nonsense.
