It’s a Backerkit fundraiser for the release of the pilot episode of Mandelbrot Hall! It’s an art school slice-of-life that devolves into cosmic horror. The studio is queer and trans owned so you know the representation is peak. Their goal is $50,000 and they already have $36,033, and 1,166 backers.

Let’s do some girlmath. So far they have an average donation per backer of $30.9. They need $13967. So if 451 people donate $31 they’ll reach their goal. Or, if 13967 people see this and all donate $1, they’ll do it. Or, if 2794 people see this and donate $5, they’ll do it. Or, if 1397 people donate $10, they reach it. Etc etc etc.

The fundraiser ends on July 31st! All you need to donate is a dollar. If you’re British like me that’s less than a Pound!

I beg of you, this would mean so much to me, I don’t even benefit financially from it!

If you are an artist of any kind, I challenge you to create a commission sheet for your work - even if you have no plans of actually opening commissions

it can be a really helpful exercise in design, it gives perspective on the type of art you like to make, it's an amazing portfolio piece, and it may even be something you'll use in the future!

pick up and start practicing an instrument that you find interesting. it can be anything from a guitar to an ocarina
