How to write smut ?
(@urfriendlywriter | req by @rbsstuff @yourlocalmerchgirl anyone under the appropriate age, please proceed with caution :') hope this helps guys! )
writing smut depends on each person's writing style but i think there's something so gut-wrenchingly beautiful about smut when it's not very graphic and vivid. like., would this turn on a reader more?
"he kissed her, pulling her body closer to him."
or this?
"His lips felt so familiar it hurt her heart. His breathing had become more strained; his muscles tensed. She let herself sink into his embrace as his hands flattened against her spine. He drew her closer."
(Before proceeding further, these are all "in my opinion" what I think would make it better. Apply parts of the advice you like and neglect the aspects you do not agree with it. Once again I'm not saying you have to follow a certain type of style to write smut! Creative freedom exists for a reason!)
One may like either the top or the bottom one better, but it totally depends on your writing to make it work. Neither is bad, but the second example is more flattering, talking literally.
express one's sensory feelings, and the readers will automatically know what's happening.
writing, "her walls clenched against him, her breath hitching with his every thrust" is better than writing, "she was about to cum".
here are some vocabulary you can introduce in your writing:
whimpered, whispered, breathed lightly, stuttered, groaned, grunted, yearned, whined, ached, clenched, coaxed, cried out, heaved, hissed
shivering, shuddering, curling up against one's body, squirming, squirting, touching, teasing, taunting, guiding, kneeling, begging, pining, pinching, grinding,
swallowing, panting, sucking in a sharp breath, thrusting, moving gently, gripped, biting, quivering,
nibbling, tugging, pressing, licking, flicking, sucking, panting, gritting, exhaling in short breaths,
wet kisses, brushing soft kisses across their body (yk where), licking, sucking, teasing, tracing, tickling, bucking hips, forcing one on their knees
holding hips, guiding the one on top, moving aimlessly, mindlessly, sounds they make turn insanely beautiful, sinful to listen to
some adverbs to use: desperately, hurriedly, knowingly, teasingly, tauntingly, aimlessly, shamelessly, breathlessly, passionately, delicately, hungrily
he sighed with pleasure
her skin flushed
he shuddered when her body moved against his
he planted kisses along her jawline
her lips turned red, messy, kissed and flushed.
his hands were on his hair, pulling him.
light touches traveled down his back
words were coiled at his throat, coming out as broken sobs, wanting more
he arched his back, his breath quivering
her legs parted, sinking into the other's body, encircling around their waist.
+ mention the position, how they're being moved around---are they face down, kneeling, or standing, or on top or on bottom--it's really helpful to give a clear picture.
+ use lustful talk, slow seduction, teasing touches, erratic breathing, give the readers all while also giving them nothing. make them yearn but DO NOT PROLONG IT.

I dont know if you ever answer it but, I always feel stuck when I want to write how one character show their anger. Can you maybe share some to us how? But with dialouge and the describing feelings instead? Hehe I'm sorry and thank you! I hope this makes sense?
How to write anger
Why is the character angry?
feeling betrayed
feeling frustrated
feeling left out
feeling hurt
feeling misunderstood
feeling annoyed
feeling jealous
feeling like no one listens to them
feeling rejected
feeling powerless
feeling embarrassed
being worried
How does the character show it?
There are two options:
silently, trying to suppress it and not show it
openly and direct
Both options can be shown with different dialogue and with describing their body language.
Body Language
1. Silently, trying to suppress it and not show it
clenching their fists
pressing their lips on each other
breathing loudly through their nose
eyes getting smaller
clenching their teeth
clenching their jaw
looking away to calm themselves
speaking with clenched teeth
whole body is tense
2. Openly and direct
screaming
throwing things around
stomping
moving around a lot, can't keeping still
open body language, like they are ready to attack
frown wrinkles on their forehead
prominent veins
grabbing someone they are angry with to get them to understand why they are angry
becoming violent
non-stop talking, ranting
shaking their head
throwing their arms in the air
eyes either going from one point to another while ranting or completely fixating on the person they are angry with
Dialogue
Depends on the situation and what they are angry about, but it's important to say, that especially in the more manic phase of loud and open anger, it oftentimes happens that the characters say things, they wouldn't normally say and that they even want to take back later when it registered what they said. So let them go a bit wild with the way they talk.
Here are some dialogue prompts for a scene where people are fighting and being betrayed. And here are some posts that can help in a scene that has anger in it.
How to write emotional scenes
How to write an argument
How to write yelling
How to write betrayal
Hope this is helpful!

"Why do you ask me?"
"I honestly don't know."
"The only way is forward."
"Hopefully to a better place."
"Back to where we came from."
"We need to leave the past behind."
"Oh, but I'm horrible with directions."
"Doesn't matter, as long as we're together."
"I miss you." (x)
"I miss you too."
"It's just temporary."
"I wish you were here."
"We'll see each other again."
"Well, that's too bad for you."
"Just a few more days, I promise."
"One day, I won't have to leave again."
"The truth is, I don't miss you anymore."
"I'm sorry, I can't change that right now."
"This wasn't the last time we've seen each other."
"It doesn't matter." (x)
"Maybe not."
"It matters to me!"
"Maybe not to you."
"But you do matter!"
"It used to matter to you."
"You just don't know it yet."
"But it will matter, believe me."
"Well, I would say it does matter."
"You can't hide behind this facade forever."
"Don't you see that there are people who care?"
“How are you?” (x)
“Fine.” (A lie)
“I’m fine.” (Honest)
“I have been better.”
“Not that bad actually.”
“Why would you even care?”
“I’ve been feeling worse before.“
"I feel like I should ask you that.”
“Well, it’s so nice of you to ask…”
“I’m doing quite well at the moment.”
“Probably a lot better than you look like.”
"I need your help." (x)
"Where's the body?"
"What's the problem?"
"You never ask for help."
"You can always count on me."
"Tell me what to do and I'll do it."
"You know I will always help you."
"Why does that sentence scare me?"
"That's a sentence I have heard before."
"Why do I feel like this is more than a small favour?"
"It seems to be important, if you are willing to ask me."
“What do you need?” (x)
“You.”
“A hug.”
“Motivation.”
“I just don’t know.”
“Fresh air to breathe.”
“Some tissues, please.”
“Nothing you could give me.”
“Just a very small favour, I promise.”
“A small moment to just be by myself.”
“Silence, but that seems too much to ask for.”
“I have a plan.” (x)
“Finally!”
“Tell me what to do.”
“Alright, let’s hear it.”
“Can’t make things worse.”
“Hopefully it’s a good one.”
“I’m scared to find out what it is.”
“Does it involve staying unharmed?”
“Great, now we’re even more screwed.”
“Why do you sound so happy about that?”
“Great timing, because we desperately need one.”
“There is something I wanted to tell you…” (x)
“I’m listening.”
“And here we go…”
“Don’t even bother.”
“Let’s get it over with…”
“Stop being so ominous.”
“You’re making me nervous.”
“I already know. And I do too.”
“Psst. You don’t need to say it.”
“Why do you look at me like that?”
“I think I already know where this is going.”
“What is wrong with you?” (x)
“It’s a long story.”
“Very good question.”
“Oh, so many things.”
“Too many things to count.”
“Well, thank you for asking…”
“I’m tired of defending myself.”
“Don’t act like I’m the problem!”
“How much time do you have?”
“Do you really want to find out?”
“Nothing, but what is wrong with you?”
“Do you feel better now?” (x)
“A tiny bit.”
“I feel worse.”
“Yes, thank you.”
“Surprisingly yes.”
“Not even a little bit.”
“Would you feel better?”
“I don’t even know anymore.”
“Actually yes, I do feel better.”
“Yes, but stop laughing at me.”
“I don’t think I will ever feel better again.”
“I feel like I’m losing you.” (x)
“I will never leave you.”
“You need to let me go.”
“It’s not losing, it’s evolving.”
“I will always be here for you.”
“I don’t want go, but I have to.”
“You’ve already lost me a while ago.”
“What am I supposed to answer you?”
“And you are still not fighting to keep me.”
“A little late to realize that you want me around.”
“You’re not losing me, I was never yours to be lost.”
“What are we?” (x)
“Probably stupid.”
“Lost. And desperate.”
“I don’t know anymore.”
“Why do you ask me that?”
“Tough question to answer.”
“What would you like us to be?”
“Human. At least I hope we still are.”
“Not the right time for that question.”
“I would like us to be more than friends.”
“Nothing anymore. We are nothing to each other.”
“Jealousy doesn’t look good on you.” (x)
“You know you love it.”
“Shut up, I’m not jealous.”
“Then don’t make me jealous.”
“Everything looks good on me.”
“Jealous? Over you? Oh, please.”
“Really? It looks great on you, though.”
“Jealousy? That word is not in my vocabulary.”
“There is no reason for me to be jealous, right?”
“As if I would be jealous over you. I mean of you.”
“You’re right, it does suit you much more than me.”
“I think you are in love.” (x)
“Oh, hell no.”
“Is that what it is?”
“Don’t be ridiculous.”
“And what do I do now?”
“This is so embarrassing.”
“Shit. I’m in love with them.”
“Don’t say a word to anyone!”
“Definitely not. Doesn’t sound like me.”
“In love? I don’t have time to be in love.”
“But I hate them. I am in hate with them.”
“Can we talk?” (x)
“Sure, what’s up?”
“That would probably help.”
“What is there to talk about?”
“Oh, so now you want to talk?”
“You’re making me nervous now.”
“Not right now. Later I’ll be all ears.”
“You’re scaring me. Is everything ok?”
“This is not the right moment for this.”
“Actually no. I don’t want to talk right now.”
“I think we’ve all said what we wanted to say.”
“Are you afraid of me?” (x)
“You wish.”
“Sometimes.”
“Why would I?”
“Should I be afraid?”
“Nah. You’re a big softie.”
“Do I look like I am afraid?”
“I will never be afraid of you.”
“Would that change anything?”
“Yeah. I mean, kinda. Definitely.”
“Do you want me to be afraid of you?”
“Have I ever lied to you?” (x)
“Yes. All the time.”
“I hope you’re joking.”
“Are you really asking me that?”
“Oh, I remember many instances.”
“Should I remind you of that one time…”
“When have you ever told me the truth?”
“Not to my knowledge, but I could be wrong.”
“Do you want a list of all the times that you lied?”
“No, so I don’t understand why you start with it now.”
“Probably. Because I don’t feel like I know you anymore.”
“I love you.” (x)
“Oh.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Thank you.”
“And I love you.”
“I never knew that…”
“That’s nice to know.”
“That’s just bad taste.”
“I love you too, you idiot.”
“This is not the right place.”
“You know how I feel about you.”
And: “You couldn’t have picked a worse time for a confession.”
“I hate you.” (x)
“That’s ok.”
“Aww, love you too.”
“Welcome to the club.”
“Well, you’re not special.”
“Wow, that makes me sad.”
“Happens to the best of us.”
“And you’re not the first one.”
“That won’t change anything.”
“Great, I hate myself too sometimes.”
“That’s a strong emotion you feel for me.”
“I thought you were dead!” (x)
“Didn’t stick.”
“I kind of was…”
“Just wishful thinking.”
“That was just a phase.”
“Didn’t work out for me.”
“Wow, the miracle of life!”
“I thought the same thing.”
“I was, but now I’m here again.”
“You were supposed to think that.”
“I’m so sorry! I’ll explain everything to you.”
“I said sorry. What more could you want?” (x)
"An explanation."
"For you to actually mean it."
"The truth about why you did it."
"I want you to actually feel sorry."
"That you will finally leave me alone."
"A promise that this was the last time."
"If you don't know, then I can't help you."
"I wish I wouldn't have had to beg you for it."
"Saying it and meaning it are two different things."
"Nothing. I don't want anything from you anymore."
“Please, come back to me.” (x)
“Always.”
“I will. I promise.”
“Please wait for me.”
“Nothing I want more.”
“I will fight for it. For us.”
“I can’t promise you that.”
“I’ll be back before you know it.”
“I don’t want to give you false hope.”
“Nothing could keep me away from you.”
“I can’t wait to hold you in my arms again.”
“I’m going to kill you!” (x)
“Have fun.”
“It was a joke!”
“Do your worst.”
“Understandable.”
“Well, you can try…”
“We can still work this out!”
“You have to catch me first!”
“That’s not a nice thing to say.”
“Ok, but can you make it quick?”
“Not to brag, but I don’t think you can.”
“Nothing to be embarrassed about.” (x)
“I still want to die.”
“But it definitely is!”
“I will never live it down.”
“Sweet that you think that.”
“It’s easier for you to say that…”
“Please, just let me die in shame.”
“This is going to haunt me forever!”
“People will only remember me by this.”
“I can never ever show my face there again.”
“Just the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me.”

Let's write about killers, serial killers, habitual murderers and getting away with crime! In order to write about these experienced ones, of course, we need to know how to COVER UP A MURDER:
01. Getting Rid of Evidence ☾🩸
Do not leave any DNA behind: Choose a place where there's going to be a lot of other people's DNA from strangers.
Oxygen bleach: These detergents are the best for removing blood stains.
Wear proper gear: goggles, latex gloves, covered shoes
Don't take anything from the body
Clean up.
Leave the body alone: don't touch or move it! It could have just been an accident...right?
Hide the victim's identity also is possible. Set fire to the whole scene.
02. Location/Target 🏠
Be random: A larger number of crimes are committed by someone known/close to the victim. The police will have a significantly harder time if your victim is COMPLETELY A STRANGER TO YOU.
Pick the soically weak: Prostitutes, illegal immigrants, etc. tend to be reluctant to go to the police.
Commit the crime in another city.
Leave the police's mean area of interest - but don't travel so far that they'll start to get suspicious of you intentionally leaving.
Choose a place without a lot of traffic.
Don't travel too long before the crime - you may get tired
03. Type of Crime 🔪
Consider the timing. Night or day? What's the best in this situation?
Shooting? Stabbing?
Poison? Burning? Crucification?
Bomb? Stricking? Fire?
Using your hands vs. A weapon?
04. Timing ⏰
Look like you are not out of place on the street
The best time to commit a crie is in the very early hours of the day when most poeple are asleep.
05. Tools 🔧
Thick gloves are a must
Buy tools at least 1 month before committing the crime
Pay in cash
Destroy any receipts or shopping bag
After the crime is committd, destroy everything you bought as quickly as you can.
Don't buy any brands you typically use, unless they are very generic.
Stagger your purchases - no bulk buying
Shop out of town in large department stores.
06. Alibi 📄
Plan an out of town trip and book everything with your credit car
Stay in a hotel with no cameras.
Sign up for events to attend. Hire someone to check in with your name if possible.
Return home as normal the next day
07. The Getaway 🚗
The best mode of transport is by bike. Travel quickly without being tracked.
Don't be seen walking on the street nearby
08. The Aftermath🏃
Continue about your everyday ife.

Angry, Yelling, Desperate Love Confessions ❤️
Angry (frustrated) love confessions work the best when:
Enemies are becoming lovers
There's a misunderstanding about to be resolved
They are angry-worried about the other person
---
"When have you ever cared what I think?" / "Since forever, you dimwit!"
"Do you think I wanted this shit for myself? That I, of all people, wanted to fall in love with you?"
"You hate me." / "Oh, yes. I hated you, thought about you, dreamed you in every waking moment. I have loved you! All this time..."
"I'm so done. Find me when you've opened your eyes."
"God, how can you be so blind?"
"I tried to erase you, but it wasn't so easy when everything about me has been you, you, and only you, for such a fucking long time."
"Am I so insignificant that you can't, not even for one second in all these years, that I'm here because I love you?"
"So teach me to forget. Tell me how you do it. Save me 'cause I', drowning."
"Really? All this time, not even once? It wasn't all hate, not for me!"
"Do you know what I hate the most? You've detrayed me, ignored me, tried to kill me - and I'm still stupidly deep in love with you."
"I can't leave you alone for one moment, can I?" / "Just leave, I'm fine." / "I'm most definitely not fine if I know you can get hurt."
"If you haven't figured it out until now, I don't know what else to say. Or do."
"I thought that if I chase you, be there for you, love you harder, you would some day see it for what it was. I was a fool to think you'd ever want me. Love me." / "I...what?"
"It just happened, okay? One moment I was cursing you and the next I was dying to kiss you. Don't you get it? I love you."
"Is the idea of me loving you so terrible that you cannot understand it?"
"Trust me, I wish I had more control over my heart but I don't."
"Why? Why, because I loved you. God, I did it only for you..."

Responses to: "I love you"
writing prompts by @writers_potion
Who doesn't?
I know.
I'm sorry.
If only there was something out there who loved you.
A horrible decision, really.
Why?
...Thanks...?
*laughs nervously*
*laughs hysterically*
I understand, but...
I knew you felt what I did!
I can't breathe.
Okay..you wanna...get a drink sometime or something, then?
Now who's the one with bad timing?
You okay?
I...*at a loss for words*
Thought you'd never admit
*slowly points gun at the other*

Writing Webnovels 101
There is one key difference between printed/ebooks and a webnovel: you need to adapt your writing for a highly distracted audience.
Unlike a traditional reading experience, people reading on the web have a gazillion other tabs, windows and notifications demanding their attention. So, here are some things to keep in mind when you’re writing for a digital platform.
Short, To-The-Point sentences
Keep your sentences short so that the reader doesn’t lose themselves in the middle.
Keep descriptions short and to the point while focusing on the action of the story.
Fast-paced
Each chapter must have significant action that contributes to plot progression.
Use well-placed cliffhangers that wouldn’t lose the reader in between chapters.
Trope-Led Story
The function of tropes is to provide a distracted reader with a ready-built framework to understand the story.
Using the right tropes is also important to attract your target audience since it tell up upfront about what kind of experience they’re going to have.
Emotion-Led Story
Deliver emotional highs and lows right off the bat, because big, intense emotion is what the readers are looking for.
Emotional information is easier to digest and retain than technical description.
Big emotions are easier to hook into and relate to.
Linear Storyline
Keep flashbacks, flashforwards, time skips to a minimum.
For a distracted reader, a straightforward timeline is a lot easier to understand and return to after a hiatus.
Focused Plot
Having multiple subplots weaving in and out of each other is probably not the best idea.
Keep delivering the emotional experience that the reader is looking for and provide only relevant information.
Technicals
Choosing the right platform
There are so many ways you can write online, from building your own website to writing short episodes on social media platforms.
You can use: novelfull.com, readlightnovel.me, Ltnovel.com, Wattpad, Webnovel, Wuxiaworld, etc.
Before you start posting on a platform, research into the kind of readers it has, what are the most popular genres, etc. Make sure you are pitching to the right audience.
Promoting Your Work
Many writers now promote themselves through newsletters, Instagram, YouTube, etc. but for someone just starting out, creating digital content on top of writing can be tough.
Join a webnovel community and get to know some of your fellow writers! The goal here is not to span other established works to links of your site. As time foes on, linking to one another and making recommendations would come naturally.
Set a Realistic Posting Schedule
Your posting schedule determines how often your readers get to interact with the story world and with one another. It’s how often life gets breathed into your story.
However, going for five days a week isn’t going to be sustainable, unless your story is already finished.
There is no magic number, so figure out a consistent, regular schedule that you can stick to. At least once a week is recommended.

Writing Morally Gray Characters
Morally gray antagonists and heroes can bring up many interesting questions about your story's theme and plot. Yes, your hero does want to save the world, but resorts to cruel ways of bringing peace?
Being morally gray can also mean that the character is highly goal- oriented and values efficiency and success over anything.
Deceiving Appearances
As is true in real life, a person's intentions aren't always obvious. A character, their title, background or really just how they look might at first indicate they're the hero type but surprise - they're not.
By hiding ulterior motives behind more apparent ones, you can add depth to your morally gray characters. Appearances can be deceiving, and that makes for a juicy read.
Morally Gray vs. Villains
Morally gray characters and villains are not strictly one and the same. Yes, there is overlap-they can be villains-but the distinctions are there nonetheless.
I don't think having a dark past to provide motivations for morally gray characters is too effective. They do intend to harm others, and sometimes, that's just the way they are.
Recognition
Your morally gray character should recognize that their choices can cause harm, intentionally or otherwise.
Although he's willing to risk the chance in his pursuit of knowledge, he does actively recognize that his actions can result in negative consequences. He sometimes acknowledges this before he does something, and sometimes only in hindsight.
Remorse
They must understand and experience remorse. When the consequences of their actions wreck and story world and kills people around her, she would certainly have regrets and even struggle to undo what she did.
The point here is, she won't regret until she has already caused the wreckage.
Redemption
Finally, when even they feel things have gone too far, your morally gray character must seek redemption however that manifests itself in your story.
For all their logic and reasoning, they are not without feeling. They can grow to care for other characters and go out of their way to help them at times, even save their life.
