rada kind of reminds me of the deep from my last post if she was like 12x more british. i think that rada's music is very reminiscent of british house/garage/diy sound because at the end of the day i would imagine this is what they play in the cunty british clubs . i think i found her through the music video for this song so i suggest everyone reading this post has a listen.

okay i realistically think if you are even 22% performative you should know who umru is but i feel like people don't really pay attention to him that much because he's usually producing the songs and i think probably 50% of people don't ever look at the credits of a song. if you're into underscores he was on their single poplife & if you're an oldhead he produced popular with laura les. i like this song by him though.

i think that you'd know e5 if you really like japanese hyperpop/club(?) music but i think she's still kind of niche in comparison to artists like starkids or even tonser who i guess most people who are not into this genre would not listen to. the thing that i think is unique about her music is it sounds like a dream—like you know when you try to remember a dream and it's all weird and hazy and has got that funny sheen on it where it's like you turned down the natural saturation and turned up the exposure? that's what i think her music sounds like and i think this is a perfect example

honestly i dont usually fw boy band or girl group music but i really like the vibe this group has... i actually just like this song specifically i dont have anything more to say

most of his popular songs are features but i really liked his line on te quería ver. i think the lyrics really hammer in how dudes are lovebombing women and then disappearing because how are you talking to me 24/7 but doing nothing with that? i guess at the end he really does want to see her but something is just stopping them 💔this is actually his most popular song on spotify but i think its a staple

niche (not really) music artists to help you be more performative

another semester has passed and i no longer foresee any english classes. they stress me out too much and i'm afraid of getting accused of ai cause i LOVE using semicolons and em dashes and random big words in the middle of my sentences. i've been trying to mitigate that and become a better writer by writing on here but it does NOT help...

i should preface this by saying that there are many different forms of male manipulators & today i will be focusing on the kind that is always on fashion tiktok and using wired headphones and most definitely has pierced ears with specifically silver hoop earrings. hope this guide helps you outperform them.

1. the deep

the deep's music totally reflects early 2010s ish "indie sleaze" type pop music (e.g. far east movement or kesha) but i think most people have probably heard angel tattoo by her—honestly i didn't really fw it that much at first but it's grown on me.

2. kimj

kimj (along with sebii) did produce that track by the deep. though i think kimj is still a bit more niche than sebii. he's worked with a lot of western artists in the past (i think recently nate sib) but his own music is also reminiscent of 2010s edm music. i really liked this track on korean.

3. the bird

two artists whose names start with the... interesting. anyways this specific track i'm gonna post had ren g in conjunction (on vocals i think) but a lot of the bird's music uses the same sample that lady gaga does.

4. YT

he's actually really popular but i'm not sure if that is outside of england. i've never heard anyone from here talk about him but i really like his production. i don't really know the term for what this kind of track is called but i like it and i think everyone should listen to it.

5. enhyphen

i actually just couldn't think of another artist but to be fair like if i was a male manipulator i'd def have some sort of kpop group in my playlist. i think newjeans is too easy and predictable so i'm gonna go with enhyphen (and i like lowkey fw their music...)

i just thought of another artist. i think i posted about him on here once before because i remember he was a lot less popular until 2hollis blew up with gold and now this evil hyperpop edm blend is really popular i think people should hop on tonser. his music is kind of joyous like a carol i think.

crisis core reuinion

im actually crashing out this month so but i made two concrete decisions: firstly, to finish my bottle of red polish, and secondly, to get through the ccr story. #1 is not going very well but im glad to say i did #2!

im gonna start off by saying that I forgot what happened before so im gonna recap (mostly to myself)

firstly me and angeal go to wutai and i just beat up a bunch of wutai soldiers (zack = me) and also saw yuffie

i kind of forgot what happens here but angeal dissapears and then i forgot some more but we meet aerith and also uhh genesis crashes out and becomes evil

banora (i beat the shit out of angeal)

at some point we have a beach scene where hes (zack =/ me) shirtless for somereason ??? and also he beats up monsters with an umbrella

me (zack = me) and cloud and tseng make out lowkey and also go to evil cold area with stealth section and levikron (RIP SONON) i couldnt finish so i just brute forced it and then angeal beats the shit out of me and then like something else happens (i KILLED him)

evil things happen at junon

i leave behind beautiful queen aerith because duty calls also tseng is watching from behind a wall (that man is married to his job)

we go to nibelheim and the scene in kalm happens all over again except im zack and not cloud and then sephiroths crash out happens and then he burns down the whole village (??) its literally fine afterwards so whats going on here anyways

we leave eventually and go to gongaga

we get to not mideel (banora) and i finish half of the side dungeon cause i assume its part of the main game but its not so i fight those evil mako thingys and get the materia and beat the shit out of genesis (side note zack is such a nice guy wow like he cares about genesis all throughout)

genesis talks a bunch more about loveless (IM SICK OF IT)

genesis does NOT die (it freaked me out so bad when he started talking again) and also everyone else died and then weiss and nero take genesis and we never ever see him again

we go to midgar except the army finds us first so erm.....

cloud crashes out (i do NOT blame him for anything)

i lowkey had to watch the t2s nutshell video to supplement this and honestly i kind of miss it bro AI voices just dont have the same charm

i think its really interesting how zach and cloud parallel each other LITERALLY like from the train scene to falling into the church; this def gave a different perspective on zachs final stand in contrast to remake (i havent finished the original & have no plans to bc its too hard) but (please put rebirth 50% off next sale square enix) i wonder if theyre gonna make more use of this; like since zack surrvives that means cloud's crash out likely isnt gonna happen in the first place which leads to a lot more happening if he doesn't crash out—I mean like there isnt gonna be the weird love "triangle" (its just tifa/aerith by remake tbh) its just gonna be beautful queen aerith and zack which therefore means one date doesnt happen to the ever unreceptive cloud (i read somewhere that cloud and zack were gonna become a merc team but idk how true that is)

i think on the topic of nero and weiss... i dont know really. all i know is that the both of them also crashed out (i dont care about nero because he killed sonon) which tbh was also pretty valid. i dont like how we don't know where the three of them are (3rd bro = genesis) like hes not even mentioned in intergrade but hes so intergral to zack's arc its so weird & i dont think they mention him at all in rebirth either. its like how in totk they wipe out all mention of the beasts; I also don't have a good grasp of what happens in DoC (genesis and weiss MAKE OUT)

&speaking of divine beasts i didnt really understand what happened with the goddess and genesis but evidently she just recognized his soldier will or whatever and made him go back but before that when he turns into whatever did he not turn into a WEAPON? and that thing in the underground as well (the not emerald weapon) which i suppose suggest the guy is like anti sephiroth (protect the planet) (he sacrificed himself as per act v)

ummm idk what else let me think... i highkey almost started crying at the boss battles cause i was so done lol

i wonder if the grey stuff coming out of cloud and seph in the scene where cloud kills him was a form of the whisper stuff we see in remake rather than just a censor? after all, its not cloud's time to die & technically sephiroth lives... im not so sure since they show blood clearly in vii & intergrade as well as zack's final stand but here they're just gray dust...??

& speaking of that... it doesn't really mean anything in the long run but angeal, genesis, and sephiroth are huge compared to zach. like yes i understand cloud is pretty small in stature for the average man, but zach's around 6'2 (maybe 180ish cm if youre European) meaning theyre around 6'8 or so (i dont even know what that would be in cm). does that suggest that jenova gillian gensis whatever cells make you bigger than average or is it just them....

i looked up zack's parents since i got lost and left gongaga & we evidently see them in rebirth. fourth result is a reddit theory that his parents ARE cloud and tifa (we will maybe inspect once there is a good sale) which his mother looks nothing like tifa lol. his dad does look shockingly like cloud if he didn't have mako in him—which regarding the mako in cloud i still don't understand why he couldn't make it into soldier when he survived mako poisoning twice and clearly has the skillset for the sword AND the gun. honestly the trust is that thanks to chapters like 8-13 of the remake i think endgame will be beautiful queen aerith x tifa (PLEASE LET ME GET WITH VINCENT VALENTINE PLEASE PLEASE PLEAS). also interesting that we STILL don't know cissnei's real name which means shes gotta tell it to zach at some point in part 3...

okay so yuffie knows zach. cant really take this anywhere but i think that aerith probably saw zach within cloud (what kind of name is cloud anyways?? do u guys think its secretly been claude (from claudia) but they decided that sounded even stupider) which is probably why she offered that one date to him. i dont think shes in love with him or anything at all, rather the remnants of zach within him which leads me to do we think that yuffie can tell too? like she had to have known SOMETHING about cloud's backstory but idk if thats ever touched upon (sales would go up if the game wasnt $70 and PS exclusive 😭😢🤬)

i have to comment on their makeup LOL. almost everyone in this game is giving #BADDIE while they lowkey just give meow meow meow uncanny valley in the remake... also hollander is lowkey jacked. (????). genesis really is just evil gackt LOLLL i feel so normal and accepted when i see that this series has things like florence and the machine in it because i feel like there's less of a stigma associated with it in contrast to something like zelda

honestly as a conclusion (?) this series is really sad but also super weird and freaky. rude and reno are REAL freaks & theres probably more (whimper audio) will i play ever crisis? once i can bear to play another gacha.

okay double conclusion. everyone in this game crashes out for valid reason & geothermal energy is secretly evil.

episode ignis

main + up to ch3v2 SPOILERS also TMI

i nearly pissed my pants when finishing this like 5 times because of ardyn bro FUCK ARDYN (hes HOMOPHOBIC). honestly i lowkey did that too when playing the main game but that was because of the jumpscares. then after that i got even more pissed off on tabata's behalf (note i have yet to finish the other 3 dlc) cause like yeah you see the guys in the main story but this like fleshed out ignis so much. u really cant tell just *how* (how to do italics??) much ignis cares for noct and is willing to not just put his life on the line but to totally lose it in order to protect him. afaik (or assume) iggy is probably closest to noct out of the bros (again assuming from brotherhood n the opening scene) and he had pretty much just been always hanging around (key to his apartment) noct. we get to see all that from iggy's perspective (literally at times) which the main game was very much missing and this was practically supplemental materials to the course that is ffxv. alas they killed off tabata and now we have nothing to see. i cant really comment on ardyn & im still weighing my options for the novel (i hate spending money but i hate buying licenses more) but it seems that something regarding bahamut comes up (more soon). like honestly this is lowkey as a whole but anything under tabatas command has this melancholy to it that we will probably never see the of light again and i think this verse 2 is yet another example of what could have been but wasnt due to the workplace opps. moral of the story is there are always jealous losers after you, but when they think they've won they've just sent a bunch of other people after themselves...

anyways i think thats enough regarding the story. i want to comment on iggy himself. i found it really funny that even with his glasses off he could see clearly (why even wear them especially because he literally looks fine without them) with apparently enough that he could fight ardyn. lowkey though this guy is like one of those "fashion mfs" (i have tik tok brainrot) like bro you could see his collar sparkling in the sun as well as his belt?? on top of that his shirt is leopard print (as well as the roen skull) and the necklace like wtf... this guy is an inspiration. i really like the implication that he does his hair every morning without fail and tbf i think aside from the dlc whenever the rest of the bros get dirty ignis is somehow the cleanest (except in those crestholm channels) as well as the fact that he remains clean shaven through those 10 years. i need to be like him STAT. wonyoungism more like ignisism...

combat wise i feel like theres that slowness again but its not just with ignis; with gladio sure its expected and it took time to get used to it with noct but noct's warping abilities make up for it. this isnt a big deal tbh just a little annoying especially with how (at least for me) lt will dodge and lb would have "warped" but otherwise gameplay here is pretty simple too. honestly even with that like the fact that ravus and even aranea never became playable is a loss bc iggy n ravus synergize pretty well. whatever no point in focusing on what could have been. instead we have to focus on what will be (i filled out the square enix ff survey with a wish for more ffxv... if more people do it perhaps they will hear our pleas...) please i need more of my beautiful king ignis.........

i just finished ffxv like last night (more like early this morning...) but lowkey i was too depressed to go through the dlc. this was really sad.

SPOILERS (MAIN story didnt open it back up to ch 15 yet)

i think if you are a #loyal fan then you read that last post where i meant to play this game originally. lowkey i liked this better than the remake even though everyone else hates on it. i think after going through the game's history the ending did feel a little rushed so i didnt feel the exact same sadness i did with ccr but i nearly shed a tear at that ending. IMO this game really had a lot of potential, like i don't understand the complaints about the open world. like u hear botw is great an all but it has the exact same "issues" tbh—i have it in quotes bc ofc the open world is going to be a little bit more empty—if you go outside everything will be empty too?? and i mean like at least just about every structure in this game has a side quest tied to it, while botw/totk leave SOOO many mysteries and have such a strange connection between the lore; this one just has too much for you to think about it in detail. like compared to ff7r there feels like more in ffxv too, ive got like 50hr in xv compared to my barely 30 in remake. though afaik rebirth is open world (sale was only $48 too expensive for license only will review when it goes 50% off ish) and the original by technicalities is as well and really this game kind of feels like a precursor to ff7r. like theres an anime, a movie, and a novel too but SO much cancelled content (which apparently was cancelled bc the director left on "good"(BAD) terms with sqenix and the team and budget were moved over to some other game) like i watched one of the old trailers right after finishing the game and lowkey now I'M pissed off on Tabata's behalf like the only reason this went to essentially shit is due to tabata's corporate opps... did they not pay attention to shinra at all?? i heard xvi and rebirth did NAWT sell well (obvs in part cause they were ps exclusive) and that i say is tabatas curse.... like ?/?. off topic but i saw that evil cs major again. i think we made eye contact. MY fault for going outside (it was an omen). back to topic at hand im looking at tabatas works (includes ff7cc) and honestly afaik these have a totally different feel from the other guy's (nomura idk) work like i think i dont have anymore to say on this topic but i have more to say

ffxv feels soooo American like maybe its just cuz of cindy (speaking of im kind of surprised they didnt just rate the game M) & i remember back in 2016/17 when the game came out it was so hyped up and for good reason cuz its open world but with a car. i feel like the game is car centric (just like american society!!) and like even when its not you get to see these huge big cities like altissia (felt like i was playing infinity nikki there lol) or insomnia or even lestallum but the game again really just gets cut short at Nibelheim (Nifelheim??) and the relationship with the bros gets explored really deeply. the thing with that though is the relationship with luna does not.... like prompto and noct have better chemistry than noct/luna (tbf luna was the one that set them up). i feel like though you need to see the companion media to experience the full game, like when i got to insomnia i lowkey dgaf until i watched brotherhood (im inspired by prompto) bc you see all of the bros with noct and it kind of just sets in how bad its really gotten for Lucis (speaking of, the map is unfinished?? there seems to be a region next to insomnia + insomnia is on the base map looking regular so i wonder if there was gonna be more... same with altissia bc you can get to altissia and the main continent directly but not nifelhiem) bc lowkey the game doesn't really set it in for you. not that big of a deal though especially since 7 has the same issue.

anyways my mind is lowkey like two marbles clacking around rn and i know i wanted to say something but im forgetting what so that will be in a later post (when i finish dlc). thanks (sorry) for coming to my ted talk

i need to WRITE WRITE WRITE. every essay i write now sounds like garbage to me. same with music tbh i havent played a full song in over two years now and its honestly kind of sad but i have no motivation. it feels like my fingers dont work like they did before and im too easy to give up on things bc i literally made it through the first time so it should be easier the second time but im lowkey really busy (100% procrastinating on calc) but im like whatever i need to get it all out of my head. im really shocked people read the last brainrot post like wow people are really seeing whats going on in here.

anyways ive been listening to the cc(r) ost while studying (around up to right before nibelheim because i want to make a flower wagon for my beautiful queen Aerith (i dont get the hate? madame M calling her homely like WHO's homley? wait lmfaoo off topic but why was cloud whimpering and moaning during the scene i had to take my headphones off cause i couldnt take it anymore...)) i should start a medium account and write like those pretentious tech bros that say things like "college is for LOSERS!" (ur going to a top school for cs?) (i didn't really like that guy cause he was lowkey weird too) but i think it'd be really funny. lowkey i forgot where i was going with this because the parenthesis reminded me of the chain rule which reminded me of that guy but anyways back to the main point...

I usually listen to game osts when studying (lie im listening to deftones right now) but the track "True Motives" (ill link it somewhere here) when genesis and angeal beat up sephiroth lowkey got me thinking during calc practice... like theres three instruments (piano cello violin) and its got a call and response format but its like all three are doing that (i told you i havent touched anything music related in a long while LOL sorry if the terminology is wrong). in the cutscene we start out with sephiroth with the violin and then like half a second later we get the piano take the upper with the cello playing the secondary melody? but the violin immediately kicks in... TBH i wonder then since im assuming sephiroth is the in between since hes "still around"—i dunno what happened to angeal—im at the point where ive killed the angeal creature but zach mentions him being possibly around and im assuming genesis is a total goner cause hes not around for anything else afaik (or he might im not that well versed in ffvii canon) and angeal reminded me a little too much of sonon so im gonna assume hes dead. as we know violin = treble cello = bass piano = both so i guess genesis = violin and angeal = cello just cause they seem like that to me. right when sephiroth pushes angeal back and genesis is about to go crazy the piano and violin lowkey come in and cello is just playing the bass notes for tha chords and the last half is lowkey just piano and violin plus a little cello right before angeal tries to stop genesis and gets thrown off into the junon sea or whatever u call it (i lost the submarine mini game in vii and i had to look up help and every tutorial was like " youre a total IDIOT if you failed this..."). maybe this is a whole lot of nothing and im just mkaing things up.

i'm gonna take to writing here bc i literally have toooo many people on my ig close friends and lowkey nobody gaf so i cannot go on a public tweakout. i want to preface this by saying yeah i thought he was just like 3hollis at first but listening closer (and pondering a little more) he really has a distinctly different sound they just use the same instrumentos or something. like yeah sure i can put them into category of dudes on the west coast who want to be final fantasy (2hollis is lowkey how i ended up in that mess ngl and now everything looks like final fantasy to me but that will be in a seperate post) but tonser sounds one million more times european and evil geometry dash. i dunno what it is but hes just got that european dota darude sandstorme feel to his music while 2holly sounds like skillrex if he was more jovial and not republican. anyways i think this specific genere of music has big potential in the future bc you hear people talking about "omg recession music is back!!" but tell me u remember all of the evil party and scene music back then. 6arely human or odetari are simply the predecessors... theyre big right neow imo because that style is popular but i think evil geometry dash will take over the scene revival in due time—like even going back to that ff thing (this is WORSE than brainrot...) that specific aesthetic is becoming popular: death note, fatal frame, people thirsting over that man from devil may cry (Dante?? final fantasy 7

spoilers for everything idk (ff7, remake&dlc, crisis core but only till like chapter four because thats how far i made it)

bro ive been tweaking out for like three months now. i bought the ff7 remake bc it was 50% off a few months ago and I was like I'm never gonna find a deal like this ever again (only for it to go on 50% again lmfao) but ok whatever it was literally 35 for the game and the dlc which is one million times cheaper than what splatoon 2 and octo expansion were and its ok because i can never own it physical anyways but bro I didn't even want to buy this game in the first place i was gonna buy ffxv cause i saw a clip of notcis or whatever that guys name is putting his lettuce on a nother guy's plate and i was like "wtf is final fantasy even about" SPOILER ALERT: TERRORISM like ????

i feel like i can never every play another game after finishing the remake and the intermission i bought crisis core reunion and theres literally LESS fighting in that game so far but it was also cheaper and i got it physical (after scouring ebay for two months to find a us edition because i dont want to even risk seeing things spelled in the british way because last time when that happened when I played great ace attorney 1&2 i couldn't stop spelling things in british every time i'd write an essay and then i couldnt tell what was wrong "its just an extra letter" no bro its messing up my diction) but anyways please just let me beat things up with a sword i wish people still used swords to fight then the fights would be more fair and the world would be a better place. but man sephiroth is lowkey a nice guy and the crashout was 100% valid not the killing people part but i would also crash out if i found out my mom was actually some 2000 year thingy they found in the ground. today i saw some snowflakes fall (they were the big ones) and freaked out for a second because i thought they were white feathers (I NEED TO GO OUTSIDE)

i also "finished" (AKA gave up right before the final boss) the original ff7 because i didnt want to deal with spoilers cause the main plot points should be the same anyways but i don't have enough patience to play retro games (the last one i finished was kirby super star three years ago) and they are like ten times harder than modern games too like i think i only got 10 game overs max in the remake but like one hundred million in the original and i was like at this point i dont even care anymore like we just need to beat sephiroth right? speaking of i really did think we just had to beat sephiroth and that he was just evil for the love of the game because all i knew was from that smash bros trailer but really everything is hojos and lowkey lucrecia's fault bc theyre bums like are you jealous of vincent or something how do you get a girl who's literally just broken up with this guy pregnant like no time bro literal bum activity im glad vincent was able to beat up hojo at the end. he was also my strongest party member (and had the hardest spell post out of all of them).

i was lowkey tweaking when i saw genesis cause i thought something seemed awfully familiar lo and behold hes just evil gackt. i saw a picture of some genshin character's sword and i was like holy sigma is that genesis rhaspodos but nope it was some genshin twink this is off topic but i HATE how like half of the characters in genshin look like children/teenagers and the other half are either whitewashed (brighter than printer paper) or have the most awful color scheme like unpleasant gradient just showed up to your door. i kept thinking angeal was named angelo because ive only ever met people named angelo and not angeal but so far his story seems too similar to sonons. zack = onika angeal = burgers OH his name is angeal like angel LMFAo

I barely edit my tumblr posts for coherence sorry if youre not one of my like 4 followers but anyways episode intermission gave me a genuine crash out. I was like "who is yuffie" but then i found out. yuffie is my goat. i hate fort condor and i still hate fort condor but i didnt know there was a literal fort with a condor on it. i was out of it bro i have nobody here that may hear this and i will be ashamed i genuinely couldnt pay attention to the game cuz of sonon hes so fine bro too bad he DIED bro i even felt bad for nero cause they forcefully made him shut up with that muzzle thing but as per usual he was a bum but theres no second part to the dlc (yet) 40 dollar 32 gb ram stick please find me (my computer will blow up) before rebirth comes out (my computer will blow up regardless) like watch the requirements be some esoteric classified government only processor like the ryzen 56 or intel i5412 like u gotta play it on one of those government super computers so the game doesnt lag the minute you start walking.

why i think 2hollis is going to become big soon

i KEEP SAYING INEED TO USE THIS BLOG MORE. then maybe i can channel it all here instead of to my irls (i blocked them on here #sorry) and then people will stop thinking im weird. i have 90 million drafts (like 5) saved up too

anyways on to the subject matter. I first found 2hollis cause the mv for crush kept coming up onto my youtube page which i deffo think is a major sign cause its exactly what happened with hanumankind's big dawgs; right around two weeks after I heard it the song was all over tiktok. Speaking of tiktok though i've been hearing a more diverse selection of his songs on there; gold which makes sense bc its his newest song and then crush which is one of the more popular ones too but i'v heard a few less popular ones which i guess supports the industry plant allegations but honestly does it really matter in this case? i'm certain this guy does have connections to the industry but its like a double edged sword when yes he does have more than others but on the other hand he's not just making music for himself, he's also producing for other artists. And on top of that I think the guy's been making music for ages so at this point i think he's almost like evil charli xcx—has a couple of big songs but no one really thinks much about who makes them. I think that might lead into the pipeline to fame, like charli did with BRAT but this is probably a couple of years into the future. I haven't written for ages so I dont really have anything more to say here but i wish him luck i think. thank you for coming to my ted talk.

[HSR] comments on music structure

i think i lied when i said i was becoming normal. i think its funny how even with the zelda brainrot i know i have like 2-3 people reading it but i feel like no one gaf about these posts LMFAO. i dont think im gonna transcribe anything out yet bc im really lazy

anyways im sure this is all because hsr has maybe 2-3 people that do the music so obviously its gonna sound kind of similar but the one hallmark i keep noticing is this really idk bright/deep (its so embarrassing but i've only studied western classical theory and forgot half of it) bass reminiscent of a lot of older splatoon music (this one has it playing what i hear as the real main melody) which add another layer of harmony to the songs tbh. u can hear it at about 1 min in jing yuan's theme and maybe at about 0:55 in the 2.3 trailer and again its used in fu xuan's theme at maybe 0:55 again which lowkey sounded like " i took a pill in ibiza to me" ngl... (more on this one later); but tbh you really only hear this instrument w/ character themes (esp luofu) which honestly shows characterization thru the music ...(sam feels like an exception bc his theme is very bass driven after all despite not being from any of the xianzhou ships)

the next type of thing they tend to use in music a lot is really driven bass guitar lines... e.g. in bootleg's theme . this follows a pattern where at around 1:15 youll hear a bass melody then around 1:27 youll hear an almost imitation of the melofy which goes thru + builds up back into the main theme where he starts talking again. the concert commercial thingy does something similar but with the melody this time w/ the transition from guitar into a pretty much repetition with various insturments regarding each character (erhu for jingliu, ?? for argenti, then sax for that twink (more on him later)). space comedy does this too with the main melody we hear for herta/belobog then into luofu (i dunno the next thing about chinese theory so i cant really say much there)

anyways back to fu xuan... her theme is one of many orchestrated themes but it mixes it with that edm or whatever element but it still has those orchestral qualites of a really idk harmonic timbre. sparkle, black swan, also do this (more on the dance theme in another post i feel like that one needs more) but onto firefly and aventurine. firefly is actually what inspired this post bc at 0:12 or so that note is the exact same as aventurine's theme opens with. firefly's theme does the same as fu xuan's where it mixes traditional with electronic but with western instruments this time. i think aventurine really belongs with the upper category if not for the orchestral hits going on in the back and the call and response everywhere in his piece which give it direction because otherwise it feels like its going no where; but like before it uses imitation and repetition of past melodies with different instruments to create direction in the piece tbh
