Space space space! Space in my new place is very hard to come by! So I've had to make a few adjustments to my setup but it's been a really fun challenge almost!! So here's a little cardboard magnetic pencil holder! I definitely need more of these magnets for other projects!

I made some poor mans sound absorbing pads! In my daily life, I do lots of audio work and because of the pandemic I needed a place to record! They will have to work for now until I can afford real ones!
Supplies:
Scissors
Cardboard
Hot glue
Towels
Craft foam
Instructions:
It took me about 30 minutes to do 3 of these so they are nice and easy! Take one of your cardboard panels and glue craft foam to the side you wish to cover with the towel. Then glue the towel to the foam and extra showing cardboard. Turn it over and fold the fabric over the sides and glue. You want the surface of the panel to be as smooth as possible and glueing the front ensures it doesnt sag when its hung. I used my hands to smooth the surface over just to be sure.
Hanging these were super easy as well because they were so light. I added some picture hanging wire to the tops of them so I could hang them.
Are they ugly? Absolutely. Do they do the trick? Absolutely.

Gave some of my old convention worthy props a new lease on life now that I have the space! It felt good to get some of this really simple painting out of the way and its been something I've been meaning to do for years!

Did some minor minor wood carving when I was bored at home. Turned out way better than I thought it would and it was super fun and time consuming! Did some weapons and a sheild on the first little one and three moon symbols on the second. I think I might have a new hobby!

Did my first customer bottle up for Angel's grace! I woke up randomly at about 3 and spent the time to get it all done. Really happy with how these little jars ended up working!

Did a mini craft last night! I stole some milk tabs from work (sorry Erik!) And made stat effect trackers! I pretty much just glued them together and painted them up! They are a little big when I board tested them but I think they will work just fine!

Testing put a new flavor for a small Mickey of home made gin. I'm kind of getting it down to a science now but i really like playing with it.

Finished my second batch. This one turned out pretty potent and spicy so I named it sacred flame! It's pretty good but I think this one is going to be more of a mix gin. Good for a first independent try at the spices. It turned out much paler than I was expecting as well. I think next time I'll just choose lavender and juniper and leave it for longer. I really want to create a lavender gin I can replicate.

Here comes the second batch of gin! Here are the instructions but I dont want to share my recipe until I know its good! Honestly I just picked one I liked offline. Tonight I finished the very simple step one. Put the berries in, shake and wait 24 hours. I cant wait to name this one!

I remade my dungeon tiles from the other day. I couldn't help thinking there was a better way to make them. I was super pleasantly surprised! They look incredible and are super light weight and durable. I am so happy with how they turned out.
I ended up using insulation foam as a base and glueing a thin foam on top. After that I gave the stone texture by using a rolled up peice of tin foil. From there I used a sharp pencil to carve patterns and cracks. I painted it all black and dry brushed it a very light gray for maximum contrast. Seriously I have no idea why anyone would buy these. They are so cheap easy and fun to make!

Tested out making some terrain tiles yesterday! They actually turned out really great! I used small foam from the dollar store for the top piece and some foam from those foam puzzle pieces for the bottom. The sides didn't turn out very smooth but the stone top looks absolutely incredible. Super happy with how these first pieces turned out!

And there you have it. A completed emperor of waves! This was a super fun project but I am happy that it is finished. I didn't want to accessorize too much and give away some of the secrets but I wanted to give a good visual of what the ship actually looks like. It was super fun and I learned A TONN.

Made tiny little mushrooms with hot glue and toothpicks! Actually they turned out fantastic. Painting them is pretty easy too as you dont have to paint the base if you clump them together enough.
