Hi! Dylan (test lead, production assistant + whatever else needs doing) here,
GrrGrr doesn’t have her animations in yet but we are happy with her AI. The little red and blue dots are tools that let GrrGrr jump different heights depending on which one the level designer places.
Here you can see GrrGrr walking towards the player character, jumping different heights based on the jump tool and shooting the player when she gets close enough.
Looking forward to sharing the boss level with you all

Hi everyone it’s one of the other members,
Recently, we’ve been working a ton to get the game looking better than ever. Animations are a go thanks to our lovely lady of the pixels Art Lead-chan, and the portraits are turning out spiffy.
Decent work has been done towards the new platforming section, new animations have been implemented, and the boss level is somewhat functioning. All thanks to the hard work of our wonderful programmers. There’s also been a bit of reworking the level layout and it’s looking great.
Thanks everyone for sticking with us for this long, we hope to produce an enjoyable and entertaining experience with this game. We appreciate your continued support.

Hello everyone!
Once again I apologise for making this update so late, it’s been a busy few weeks, however that doesn’t mean we haven’t been getting work done. Our artists have been hard at work creating new animations and designs for characters and enemies, including a portrait of our beloved GrrGrr and Amanda. (GrrGrr is the main boss of the turorial level).
We now have dialogue tress, fixed animation bugs and glitches from our platforming and now we are working towards creating the dating scenarios in game to create a fun and silly experience that all players can enjoy. At the moment we won’t have many levels created for the demo release as our work loads keep changing around constantly, but we are still committed to developing and creating a fun and rememberable experience for our target demographic.
Thanks for sticking with us, until next time!

Hey it’s the producer from ActuallyGames here!
Sorry for the lack of updates as you can see from out screenshots, we’ve been very busy getting out different assets and level building for Drama Club! At the moment we have been working on tile maps for environment design, a hubworld area with a function talk feature, death animations for enemies and player attacking and damage spirtes and scripting. All is going pretty well for a first small showcase demo we’ve been working on. Which will consist of one level a beta version of the hub and a menu screen. All of these things will take time however but our team is committed to trying to get out quality for people to enjoy.
By next week we should have done a finished level, plenty of more art to show and more sounds that this version of the game currently has. We will also be working on fixing the quality of the builds and making sure that the quality of them stays up to the images themselves as scaling has caused some issues in some sprites in the game.
Thank you for sticking with ActuallyGames! And out upcoming project Drama Club, your support means a lot to us!

Hello everyone Producer here!
Sorry for the late update but we have been doing a lot of work to get a lot done, so far we have a working enemy ai and health, and even player health that functions properly, a lot of bugs have been fixed and we have also introduced a switch character mechanic that functions as intended!
We have a hub world in game now and new characters slowly being introduced into the game. Which includes characters such as Caroline and Andre.

Hello Gamer’s, Producer here!
Here’s another look at our upcoming game Drama Club!
If you don’t already know Drama Club is a 2D indie action platformer that is aiming to be released by the end of this year, although time may vary our team is dedicated to making a fun experience for everyone!
It’s been an adventure since last week, our team has been creating animations for the main characters here’s a quick look at Amanda, and Caroline. Caroline has the ability to control water so one of her main attacks at the moment is firing a beam of water out of her umbrella. We also have a hub world to commence all the story progression which is currently in progress to being built!
We are now working on level design, (blocking), animations, backgrounds and character interactions. We would love to hear your support or even feedback on what we start to bring out next!
More posts are scheduled to be released during the coming months so make sure to follow and stay tuned to our updates! :D

Hello Everyone Producer Here!
First in game screenshot of our game DramaClub!
What is DramaClub? Well if you aren’t already informed it is a 2D Platformer game being kick started by our team at ActuallyGames! The unique thing is, it is also has dating sim elements intertwined with it!
We’re an indie game development group that are passionate about games and creating them. We have six members on our team doing everything from coding to art design. But enough about the grit about the work, I’m here to tell you about our current progress within the game itself.
Now this first screenshot doesn’t seem like much however! There is plenty to be shared and loved and more will be revealed in future updates, but I can give you a sneak peak now so I will tell you what we have done. We have plenty of beautifully rendered pixel art made by our art team, we even have a few working enemies and a fully functional player controller! You can even JUMP!
Thanks for your time and can’t wait to see and hear the feedback given to us as we progress and make more of you in love with out game!
