For 6 persons

Preparation: 30 mins

Cooking: 30 mins

500g flour

15 g fresh baker's yeast

20 cl heavy cream

60g of sugar

2 eggs

100ml with milk

1.5 tsp salt

Place the salt then the flour in the bowl of the food processor, put the crumbled yeast and the sugar in the centre. Add the beaten eggs, milk, cream.

Knead the dough for about ten minutes then cover it and let it rest for 1h30 in a warm place so that it doubles in volume.

Degas then pour the dough on a flour work surface. Divide the dough into 12 equal parts and shape into balls. Place them in a square or rectangular dish (but rounds are not prohibited). Space them well. Cover and let rise again for 1h to 1h30, they will end up touching each other.

Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 150°C (th.5).

Leave to cool on a wire rack and sprinkle with icing sugar.

Super Eagles will be back stronger – Troost-Ekong seeks Nigerians forgiveness over WCQ failure

April 04, 2022 Super Eagle defender, William Troost-Ekong has asked Nigerians to forgive the Super Eagles for failing to book a spot in the 2022 World Cup which will take place in Qatar and assured that the Nigerian football national team will be back stronger.

Troost-Ekong who was part of the team that played Black Stars of Ghana to a 1-1 draw in the return leg of the 2022 World Cup Qualifying playoff at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday said that they tried all their possible best but it wasn’t meant to be.

Nigeria, in the first leg of the qualifying playoff in Ghana, was held to a 0-0 draw which made the Super Eagles lose their spot to the Black Stars on away goal aggregate.

The Watford defender on his Facebook page penned an apology to the Nigerian fans and also thanked them for their great support. He also used the opportunity to thank the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick, and Minister of Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare for rallying behind the team.

21 OF THE ABUJA KADUNA TRAIN ATTACK STILL DECLARED MISSING. By Lucy Ogalue

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has reiterated its commitment to collaborate with security agencies to rescue other missing passengers aboard the recently attacked AK9 Abuja-Kaduna bound train. Mr Fidet Okhiria, NRC’s Managing Director, in a statement on Sunday, said two more passengers had been confirmed safe, making the total of safe passengers 172.

”The Corporation also confirms updates that a total of 172 passengers on board the train are safe and okay while 21 passengers are still reported missing.

”Let us assure our esteem passengers that the Corporation in collaboration with the security agencies will leave no stone unturned in our efforts at rescuing the missing persons.
