I'm one proud momma and he's one proud boy! Jaiden was registered for school on Tuesday and got tested. Expected for a 3rd grader was 84 words per minute and 11 comprehension questions. Jaiden read 134 words and did 19 comprehension questions. He only got one wrong and it was a common mistake. He was also able to summarize a paragraph with 54 words and 3 main details in one minute, and even able to compare or of the paragraphs to his own life. He is so proud of himself as he should be!! #proudofhimself #proudmomma #smartboy #stayingfocused #thirdgrade #newschool #freshstart #newlife #myeverything. ❤❤

Today you are a 9 year old young man. I can't believe that you are 9 and in just one year you will be double digits. Each year we have hit a rough patch or two. Each year I do everything I can to make sure you have not only what you need but what you want. I do everything I can to the best of my ability. When I can't give you the things you want, instead of throwing a fit, or pouting, instead of screaming and making a scene, you try to understand. Jaiden, you are one of a kind and I can not express how much I love you! I know you have the biggest heart and the most amazing smile and you try to understand to the best of your ability. Today you turn 9, and instead of doing something super special, we are on the road to our new life. You haven't complained. You have sat here and enjoyed the ride, played your games and napped. I hope you know everything I do is for you! I hope you know how much I admire you and believe in you. You are strong and independent. You see the world through your own eyes and develop your own opinions. You question people actions that should be questioned and you don't understand why some people are the way they are. Driving through a snow storm and you folks still feel the need to go full speed... two cars in a ditch, one trucker slid and his entire back piece was taking up the entire highway, then these two ended up in a ditch, not long after this... some dude in a small pickup went over the guard rail....
