Part II of The Natural Disasters as Pokémon trainers. This time it’s Odagar our Half Orc Barbarian.

Before joining the Natural Disasters to help save the world Odagar worked in the fighting pit in town and was known as the Flying Tiger which is why his partner Pokémon is Incineroar, the Wrestling Heel Pokemon. Likely raised from a Litten. The two Linoone are Dash and Puck, his pet weasels who get into all sorts of mischief. Blissey is the most physical Tank in Pokemon, for our physical tank. Odagar wears gauntlets that can temporarily make him immovable so Snorlax, the OG immovable object felt appropriate. Fianlly, Galarian Darmanitan (Zen Mode) is the only Fire/Ice type pokemon, and does wonders for his back. A call back to a technique used by our bard to help his back...which was really just flirting.

New Series: The Natural Disasters as Pokemon Trainers first up Alpine(they/them) who is played by @notalwaysyou who is the biggest Pokémon fan and helped put together the Pokémon list for each of our DND party members.

Alpine is a Warforged Circle of the Shepard Druid. These Pokemon were picked to represent them and their most used abilities:

Infernape and Rillaboom - Alpine often summons apes, and both have natural theming.

Lycanroc - Alpine often summons and transforms into a wolf, and with Alpine's new awakened ability to wildshape with stoneskin, the Rock-typing fits perfectly.

Galarian Rapidash - Unicorn Spirit

Sneasel - Sharp, Ice-Type. A la Ice knife, a common first level preparation for Alpine after the groups travels to the snowy realms.

Stakataka - A stone tower Pokemon from another dimension that encapsulates the "other" feeling of Alpine in civilazion, along with representing where they came from, and the cool teleporting tower they have (some) control over.

Animal Crossing-sona inspired by my dear friend @hallowsbethyname she doesn’t play animal crossing but I think she’d really enjoy it and I think she’d fit in great in a town:)

I made another Animal Crossing-sona for another friend who doesn’t play Animal Crossing. Making these is super fun and also it is making me want a town full of these characters based on my pals.

This is Sinai my friend @hallowsbethyname’s DND character who is a Tiefling Divine Soul Sorcerer. Sinai and my tiefling bard Salem look very much the same save a few differences and are often mistake for family although they aren’t related as far as they know.

New Experiences

My character Salem ended up sharing her first dance(and first kiss) with a dashing Robin Hood-esk pirate. Later our elf ranger Zora ended up telling Salem she was needed somewhere else to get her away from the pirate and then shoved the pirate overboard...shortly after this our group decided to leave town for mostly unrelated reasons.
