Thinking about a Loki x TMA AU

Archivist / Jon - Loki ??

Archival assistant / Martin - Mobius ??

Might do some sketches to follow this AU up, also considering Mobius as head archivist instead of Loki in this AU, on another note I’ve been violently working on my Loki [scruffy aoa variant] cos/coat, handsewing is a curse =w=

Y’all know that one Harry Potter scene where draco folds that paper crane, sends it to harry and he opens it just to see a drawing of himself being struck by lightning?

Mobius: Oh, this is nifty, did you fold it yourself?

Loki, nodding casually: Uhuh .. Mother taught me, open it.

Mobius, starting to carefully unfold the crane: Are you sure? I’d hate to ruin your work.

Loki, watching: …

Mobius: …

Loki: …

Mobius: Wow.

Loki: I think I really captured your essence.

Mobius: So do I.

Loki: Really?

Mobius: Moustache and all.

[Bonus points if they’re already married and just in a tiff, Mobius initially thinking the crane was Loki apologising]

NO SERIOUSLY YES. ITS SO CRAZY TO ME HOW COMMON THE SHIP IS AS IF THEY ARENT BROTHERS??

Even in the what if series [what if… Thor was an only child] IT SHOWS US. Thor and Loki can only see eachother as brothers in every universe, even where Loki wasn’t adopted and they aren’t related in anyway.

HC that Loki dyes his hair black even though they have absolutely no reason to do-so as a literal shapeshifter, same with her painting his nails or literally ANY cosmetics .. like yeah they COULD shapeshift, but where’s the fun in that?

Bonus points if she forces Thor / Fandral / Mobius / whoever to help dye their hair or whatever else

+ after Thor found out [and was forced to do a spot check for the dye] he started a storm and Loki just had black hairdye streaming down his face
