no show will ever have what taskmaster has. to me. the absolute silliness. a competition show where everyone wins and everyone loses and everyone is having the time of their lives. bring in a flashlight from your kitchen as a prize. or bring in your whole oven. it's 5 points either way. you WILL build a fort out of cardboard and tape and you WILL care about it so much. the way every task is so harmless and fun and generally done with like. everyday household objects. it's just weird little challenges that no one in their right mind would ever do or be good at. but everyone wants to win so bad and they get mad when they only get 1 point. throw some ping pong balls at alex horne and maybe you'll feel better.

so I found this cool guy through my youtube video recommendations last year. I participated in this year's 7 days of bad fonts, but since i was in vacation mode I had only just finished the challenge today.

I also had only seen days 5 and 7 live, so I decided to work backwards for some reason. Because of this I'm considering just redoing days 4, 5, and 7 because I had little experience compared to the other days that came easier to me. and they only ended up being easier because I had practice from this challenge.

Very fun stuff! I'll probably just attempt some design chef challenges after I do my redesigns. :)

I'm so glad I finally made my intro and other posts. I made so much art with this because i loved using the software as a kid and now IT"S IN MY BROWSER :'D

this is a really helpful warmup tool, not going to even joke about it.

Also I'm trying a few tags for my art so ill choose something after a while, just want to tag a few to see which ones appeal to me off top.

Kid Pix just became pubic domain, so the remade (but pretty much exactly the same) version is now available here. It's uh, wild, highly recommend checking it out not only for the wonderful nostalgia but you can legit make some incredible looking stuff!

"Bitch I'm back. By popular demand."

I made a tumblr account back in 2011. I was very active and continued to use my account until 2015 ish. It's hard to remember when I stopped updating. I remember the posts tapered off and then months, possibly a year later, they banned porn on this website.

So I hadn't interacted with the platform for 7 years. I migrated to twitter because the porn was there.

Twitter became my tumblr. I spent too much time on cultivating my interests and retweeting as a form of reblogging. Time passed without a second thought.

Recently a rat with money bought up the platform I had spent too much time on. After blocking a bunch of accounts, I went looking at alternatives to twitter. Especially after a couple of rocky weeks where it seemed like the website was going to fall apart from a lack of staff.

and that's when I was reminded of the website I haven't used in years. Thankfully strange Æons made a video and some other users have helped fill in some of the gaps of how the site functions. Well at least how it's changed from the 5 years since I last used it.

I'm excited to be back. Twitter forced me to stop talking. I liked the validating feeling that interaction on there gave me, but I didn't like the mindset that I found myself in from participating in it. I was very cautious to say nothing personal about myself. And while it's important to not dox yourself online... I ended up just not expressing anything about myself. I was terrified of somehow becoming a target.

The fact that I could tweet to conservative politicians to go fuck themselves is very fun. My paralyzing anxiety was that one of these lets go brandon fuckfaces would harass me because I said Ron desantis is a shitbag with no regard for the youth of florida.

I mean that's a true statement, but I digress. I'm glad to be back here where the fun is.
