Hello I am Ahmed aldany 15 years old live in Gaza

🚨Look what happened to me yesterday 😱

Yesterday was a cold winter day, when I left our very cold tent in the displacement camp where I was looking for some food for my family. While I was walking in the deserted street, a skinny cat caught my attention, turning over the remains of the garbage with extreme hunger. Her sight was painful, she looked weak and exhausted, and her eyes carried a look of distress. 💔

I approached her cautiously, as I know that hunger can make her afraid. I took out a can of sardines that I had bought to satisfy my hunger, but I gave it to the cat and remained without food, and extended it towards her. She hesitated a little before she started eating it greedily. I sat next to her and looked at her, and I saw a wound on her foot that was hindering her movement, and it was clear that she needed treatment. 😭💔

I decided to help her. I carried her gently and returned home with her. Despite the limited resources, I washed her wound with a wet cloth and gave her some water and food that we shared as a family. The cat gradually began to recover, and became a part of our lives. We named her "Amal" because she gave us a sense of hope despite everything we were going through.😭😭

One day, while I was sitting with her, I remembered my previous cat who was killed in cold blood by the occupation in the bombing of our house. This is a picture of me and her sleeping in my arms, feeling reassured.🥹❤️

I also thought about my situation. I also need help; my damaged teeth make me feel pain every day, and I need dental implants to be able to eat normally. But how can I afford the treatment?🥺😭😭

@ahmed-danii has asked me to post about his family. ahmed is a teenager who has suffered directly from the bombardment of gaza. he was born with birth defects from exposure to phosphorus. he requires a lot of medical care that is out of reach in the strip and this, coupled with the responsibility of raising funds for his family, is understandably very stressful

their campaign is only 6% funded! i know we're all going through stuff at the moment, and it's the holidays, but please don't hesitate to help
