completed the a3 page from yesterday

went through my planned expenses for the end of 2021

sorted through my youtube ‘watch later’ list

ahah, so i decided to finish this page by filling it up with more sketches and doodles. i am quite happy with how it came out ahah. i always do these sort of bunch of sketches and fill in the spaces sorta thing so it looks like any other regular page in my sketchbooks.

a lot of my friends’ birthdays have passed/ are coming up soon and we always as a group chip in money for the planned gifts for them. and since i can’t pay them through transferring (bcs sadly i’m cash only), i’ve been keeping track of my finances on notion where i also have other like finance plans like things to buy for myself, supplies, etc.

and since i was on the topic of planning and sorting, i decided to check out my youtube ‘watch later’ list bcs i had a feelings i had watched like half of the videos already. and not surprisingly, i did indeed watch half of them so now i only have a bout 240 videos in there ahah.

today i had the house all to myself for the first time in a while ahah. having both parents out for work just gave me a sense of freedom and independence almost,, made me remember how relaxed i was when the pandemic hadn’t impacted my area all that much. i missed the times of being able to actually physically go to school, hopefully we all get to see each other soon.

since the house was empty, i decided to cook myself ramen... again ahah. this time i tried the garlic flavour that i made mum last night and ahhh it’s not amazing but it tasted alright. 

i decided that i wanted to draw in a sketchbook today and found an a3 sized sketchbook with literally two pages down that hadn’t been touched since january so uhhhh- yeaH i decided to do some sketches of photos i found on pinterest and stuff. and then i binge played osu again- as per usual.

stayed up until 9:30 to attend the english seminar

made ramen for mum and i

so uhhh... i didn’t sleep and stayed up for the english seminar starting at 8:20am my school was doing X_x. it was honestly, not worth it because i had already attended an english seminar from a uni and it was basically the same information. so after the seminar, which ended at around 9:30am, i fell straight asleep ahah. i ended up waking up at around 5pm? and decided to do the average teenager thing to do which was to scroll endlessly on tiktok.

dinner was made and eaten at around 8-9pm, where i made mum these instant garlic oil (?) flavoured noodles because she cannot handle her spice at all. i am also not a big spice-handler but i am most definitely better than my mum and can handle some spice. so, i made myself spicy seafood flavoured noodles. ahh we both dumped dumplings into our pots because what’s some instant ramen without dumplings to fill us up more.

that was all i did today :D

i have re-awoken my osu addiction from 2018. i have re-awoken. i haven’t hit the early 40k’s since i did back three years ago oh my- *coughs*,, yep so uhhh i’ve been attempting to play late 5 stars to late 6 star maps lately and man i wish i put in this amount of effort into my studying instead of games *cries*.

i’ve honestly hit a mental slump personally. i’ve disconnected with friends and myself and pushing through every day can be hard because i’m basically doing the same thing everyday ahah. but things get better. basically, i am just - very literally - socially distancing from everybody [which i will post about].

‘confessions about colton’ was one of my favourite mystery books on wattpad until it finally got published. i personally love it a lot, it’s one of the best written books from the platform that doesn’t revolve around solely romance like the rest of the bunch ahah.

kid you not, i felt so like ‘stay in bed’ mood and stayed in bed from 3pm to 10pm.... :’). does anybody else also have those days where you just decide ‘ahh yes let’s do absolutely nothing today and lay in bed’? it makes me feel so unproductive, but we all have those bad days every now and then.

i ate dinner at around 11pm?? and i made microwaved steamed eggs, inspired by the steamed eggs you get at korean bbq and ah i enjoyed eating my food. i’m pretty sure i hooked myself back onto an osu grind because oh no- i play everyday now :0

browsed through muji’s stationary via the website

attempted to plan out a study schedule for the next month

today was an unproductive day like no other ahah. i watched quite a lot of KoiFishu’s youtube content, an osu streamer. i spent majority of my day doing that whilst also deciding to browse through muji’s stationary section of their website. 

do you ever get those moments of really wanting to be productive through... wanting to purchase new stationary..? well i do and muji released their 2022 planner on their website and oomph i really wanna purchase it when there’s stocks. i’m planning on using their ‘smaller than a4 but bigger than a5′ size binder i think its for b4?? sized paper?? i honestly am not sure but its small and would be easier to pack than a chonky a4 sized binder.

since exams begin in just over a month, i decided to try - key word: try - to make a study plan for the next month for studying. it didn’t go so well because i basically side-tracked every 5 minutes ahah but i have a solid idea as to what i’m going to be doing. that’s all i basically did today *sweats*.

i’m so behind on posting these AHHHH

attempted to memorise one of my english essays

started reading the manhwa ‘see you in my 19th life’

it thundered quite a bit today; it even hailed in some suburbs. even though the weather was screaming at me that today was not going to be a productive day, i attempted to memorise the main points of one of my english essays by ‘active recalling’ my way through it. as an individual that fits within the ‘burned out gifted kid’ stereotype who never learnt how to properly study or revise, im proud of myself for looking over notes even though i hate it with a passion ahah. small steps i guess. 

afterwards i decided to start reading this manhwa that caught my eye on my instagram discover page called ‘see you in my 19th life’ and oh my GOODNESS IT’S GOOD- well i’m personally not hard to please when it comes to manga or anime but AH- i love the plot and the characters and everything ooMPH. you should give it a go if you’re into some comedy + drama + romance sorta stuff, it’s pretty good.

watched vincenzo all day

had microwaved lasagna for dinner

was not productive today ahah and watched vincenzo for the majority of me being awake. i highly recommend it for those who like crime action and like a splash of comedy, it’s quite good. 

then i had like one of those pre-cooked lasagna meals for dinner because i was most definitely too lazy to cook something ahah. it wasn’t half-bad so i had a good time. afterwards i then just continued with watching vincenzo ahah. that’s about it for today.

i’ve realised i’m starting to fall behind on this AH- i cannot i must keep pushing forward (╯•ᗣ•╰)

my impulsive brain decided to watch the first two movies of the hhtyd series and AH it threw me back to the small primary school days. while watching the movies i was just doodling some figures in my ‘everything’ notebook and WOW i dont know what happened to me but i cant draw bodies for my life but today it just clicked and i could DRAW THEM WITHOUT REFERENCES I WAS BOGUS POPPING OFF.

afterwards, i decided i needed to put in some academic productivity *cries* and downloaded some syllabus notes of society and culture and went over them, making mindmaps and adding them to my own notes file if it was new or i wanted to further elaborate on something. i also then continued watching vincenzo afterwards.

that was all i did today ahah.

browsed around the fashion side of pinterest

used a 1L bottle for drinking more water

waited until midnight to celebrate a friends birthday 

i was pretty unmotivated today: getting out of bed at around 6pm i had a small dinner and fell into the ‘non-stop scrolling’ of pinterest. my feed mainly consists of drawing references, anime and fashion.

my mum has been pushing me to drink more water through using a water bottle because i rarely come outside my room (because i’m always constantly being a hermit crab ahah). i’m not a big fan of water ironically but i guess it was nice not having to go outside for water.

about 15 of us joined this discord server to surprise the birthday girl as we had changed all of our profile pictures into photos of her. we watched her react to the birthday video our friend put together of all of us greeting her and played gartic phone afterwards. it was - inevitably - the most chaotic session i have ever played.

studied/ revised over math again

made my first procreate pixel art piece

re-watched ‘alice in borderland’ with my parents who are ftw

i started my day by going over math again :’),, i never really built up the study habits throughout high school but i’m doing them now and it hurts my lazy soul but i feel so productive when doing it. prepping for major exams has never been so productive before D:

i then decided to fiddle around with procreate and make some pixel art. i didn’t think it was possible but forgot about the whole brush setting stuff and AHH i’m actually quite interested in pixel art style it always has the simplistic cute look to it but drawing with just squares is difficULT AH. i’m so down to dive deeper into the pixel art community though :D

my mum brought up how i shouldn’t watch ‘squid game’ despite her wawtching it herself because everybody on her facebook has been saying that ‘alice in borderland’ is better. funnily enough, i had watched alice in borderland a while ago sooooo we decided to have a bit of a family watch night. we got up to episode 5 and we called it a night ahah.

played a lot of ipad games

went over math formulas and practice questions

started reading ‘blue period’

wrote a ‘future message’ for myself

i didn’t really do much today ahah. i ended up re-downloading ‘cooking fever’ and ‘crossy road’ so i spent my time playing those games for a bit. my crossy road high score is 916! we should all make it a challenge to reach 1500 that would be insane. 

math formulas aren’t the most fun things to remember but non-right angled trigonometry is one of my favourite topics. i went over a past exam paper and marked my old papers so i could figure out which topics i needed to work on. i’m glad i got a little productivity on today :P 

i started to read blue period today and WOW- i’m quite a fan of it currently. as somebody who’s into art and did visual arts as a subject for senior high school, i’m quite invested in the manga ahah. i highly recommend it for people who are into coming of age manga and/or are also interested in art. although, i reckon everybody can have a go at it, it’s pretty good.

out of curiosity i went on one of those ‘write a message for the future’ sort of websites and wrote myself a future message for myself. i set the date to the day i turn 21 so woop wOOp that’ll be a fun thing to come across ahah. i just hope i’d still be using the same email :’D

got my second covid shot :D

rode in my dad’s new car for the first time

watched girl’s planet 999′s new episode

i got my covid shot so i fell asleep right after coming home and FORGOT TO POST AHAH- falling asleep at 7pm? yess we shall ahAH. but yeah i dressed up for once as i haven’t left the house in a long while,, maybe about a month or a bit? i thought the fit SLAPPED so i took some photos. as somebody who isn’t very confident in how i look and is usually the one taking photos, i had fun :D

i saw a couple of people i knew and one of my friends while getting the shot which was fun bcs i hadn’t seen them in a while ahah. as somebody scared of needles i hate getting shots, but i find that i can take it quite well. the nurses always told me to do math to distract myself x_X

i also fell asleep while watching the latest episode of girls planet 999, although im not too into it so much to like want to vote. i mainly watch for the behind the scenes and the performances ahah. one of my favourite girls is wen zhe, she’s just so cute and quirky i hope she goes far D:

went over the webinars provided from a uni for english and mathematics to take notes for the major examinations in nov.

started watching vincenzo on netflix

redownloaded cooking fever on my ipad and binged for an hour or so

woke up rather early for today, around 1pm? in comparison to 3pm it’s pretty good. i spent a lot of my time revising on past content and looking through the webinars bcs i slept through the lives this whole week ;-; ,, lucky they put the recordings up :0

i also organised my spendings table because i’ve been looking at purchasing a few items as soon as i get out of lockdown,, i need to take my laptop in to apple so they can replace the battery and fix my keyboard because i have wiGgly kEys.

eleanor by samuel lim came out today which i was waiting the whole day for! everybody should check it out it’s so good D:

i looked over psychology notes online to prep for next year

attempted to push my rank up by playing 2 hours of osu! 

today wasn’t that bad. i updated my iphone so now im on ios15 but uhhh my phone is old gen af so i dont really get a lot out of it ahah. i ate a pork roll for late lunch and watched a bit of youtube for the rest of the day. i reached into the 49k for osu the other day and i have a feeling im about to drop hard. 

ive been planning on brushing up my japanese again bcs after school finishing i really need to like keep the skills up so thats a goal for the current break. hopefully the lead up to major exams is full of lots of revising and studying bcs i really want to go to university.
