Heyyy, not sure of you take requests at the moment but if you do could I ask for something with female reader and jay/hunter (zoom from the flash) where instead of the jay/caitlin thing it was jay with reader, but even after everything she still cares about him so she saves him from team flash maybe by sabotaging their plan, like she finds Zooms location and secretly goes to him without telling the team and tells him everything they have planned to stop him so that he'll be prepared because she doesn't want him to be hurt or dead?
Hiya ! I'm sorry it took me so long to reply ! Here's your story ! You didn't tell me your pronouns so I tried to be inclusive ! Hope you'll like it !
Y/N sat at the computer in STAR Labs’ cortex, the hum of machinery and the glow of monitors doing little to distract her from the weight on her mind. Jay. They couldn’t stop thinking about him: Zoom. Knowing who he really was, knowing what he was capable of, made her heart ache. The team was confident they could stop him, perhaps even change him. But what if they couldn’t? What if things spiralled out of control, and someone she cared about got hurt, or worse?
The sound of voices pulled them from their thoughts. Barry, Cisco, Caitlin, and Wells filed into the room, their footsteps breaking the stillness.
“I’m telling you, Barry, this is going to work,” Cisco said, his voice carrying that usual note of enthusiasm laced with exasperation.
“But I need to get faster!” Barry snapped, throwing his hands up. “I don’t want to do it his way. I want to do it my way!”
Cisco raised his hands defensively. “Barry, no offence, but your way hasn’t exactly been working so far.”
Barry glared at him but didn’t argue. Instead, he stepped toward the centre of the room, gesturing for the team to gather. “We can’t keep chasing him like this. He’s always two steps ahead of us. We need to bring the fight to him.”
Cisco folded his arms and frowned. “Right. Because taking on a psychotic speedster who can literally outrun time sounds like such a chill idea. Got any specifics, fearless leader?”
Barry turned to him, his expression taut with frustration. “That’s why we’re here ! To figure something out!”
“Barry’s right,” Wells said, his calm, measured tone breaking the rising tension. “We need to think differently. We start by exploiting his weaknesses. Zoom’s strength comes from his use of the Velocity serum. It gives him speed, yes, but it also destabilises his cells.” He turned to Y/N, his piercing gaze locking on them. “Y/N, you’ve been studying this. What’s our leverage?”
Y/N blinked, startled by the sudden shift of attention. For a moment, they hesitated. They hadn’t planned to be this involved in their scheme to stop Jay, but now they saw an opportunity. If they were part of the plan, they might be able to protect him.
“Zoom’s overuse of the serum is pushing his body to its limits,” they said carefully. “I’ve developed a compound that could temporarily neutralise the effects of the serum. Think of it like cutting off his fuel source mid-chase.”
“Cool,” Cisco said, leaning against the table, “but how do we get him to drink Y/N anti-speedster smoothie? ‘Cause I’m guessing he’s not big on sharing drinks.”
“We don’t.” Barry’s voice was firm. “We inject it.”
Cisco snorted. “Oh, sure. Let’s just politely ask him to stand still while we jab him with a needle.”
Wells ignored the sarcasm. “Barry’s right. We’ll need to immobilise him first. That’s where your speed comes in. If Y/N’s compound works, it’ll weaken him enough for you to gain the upper hand.”
Barry sighed heavily. “Even if we slow him down, he’s still faster than me. He’ll see it coming.”
Cisco snapped his fingers, his face lighting up. “Not if he’s chasing the wrong Barry.”
“What do you mean?” Y/N asked, their voice calm despite the swirl of anxiety inside her.
“Speed mirages,” Cisco said with a grin. “Barry’s pulled it off before, creating afterimages by running so fast it looks like he’s in multiple places at once. We use one as a decoy to lead Zoom into a trap.”
“The trap being
?” Y/N asked, frowning as they tried to piece together the details.
Cisco’s grin widened. “A little something I like to call the ‘speed-dampening surprise.’ I’ve been working on a field generator that disrupts a speedster’s ability to maintain top velocity within a certain radius. We lure him to a controlled area, and boom Zoom goes from speed demon to regular psycho.”
Wells raised an eyebrow. “And how do you propose we lure him into this field? He’s not stupid. He’ll see through a simple bait-and-switch.”
“We use me,” Y/N said before they could stop themself.
“No way,” Barry said immediately, his tone sharp. “Y/N, absolutely not. It’s too dangerous!”
Y/N stepped closer, their voice steady. “Barry, listen to me. Zoom trusts me—well, as much as someone like him can trust anyone. If he thinks I’ve turned against you, he’ll come for me. He won’t expect it to be a trap.”
“They’ve got a point,” Cisco said, nodding. “Zoom’s got this whole ‘big bad wolf’ vibe, but he loves to gloat. If Y/N gives him the impression they’re defecting, he won’t be able to resist.”
Barry’s jaw tightened. “Are you sure about this?”
Y/N held his gaze. “I’m sure. I trust you, Barry. You just need to trust me too.”
For a long moment, Barry hesitated. Then he let out a slow breath and nodded. “Alright. Let’s do this. Together.”
Cisco clapped his hands, grinning. “Team Flash versus Zoom. Let’s kick some multiverse butt!”
Later, at Zoom’s lair

The lair was dim, the faint hum of blue electricity crackling through the air. Y/N stepped cautiously inside, their heart hammering as they called out, “Jay? Are you here?”
A rush of wind, and suddenly he was there, standing before them with that familiar, cocky grin.
“Hey, love,” Jay said, pulling them into a kiss. “You’re back! How did it go?”
Y/N sighed, lowering themself into a chair. Their hands trembled slightly, and they clasped them together to hide it. “They’ve got a plan,” they said quietly. “I offered to be part of it
 to help you.”
Jay’s smile faded. His eyes narrowed. “What’s the plan?”
“They’ve developed a compound to neutralise the serum,” Y/N explained. “And they’re building some kind of trap a field that’ll slow you down.”
Jay chuckled darkly, his confidence undiminished. “They think they can stop me? That’s adorable.”
Y/N hesitated before reaching for his hand. “Jay
please. Don’t underestimate them. I can help you avoid this, but you have to promise me you won’t hurt them. Please.”
His expression softened, and he cupped their face with one hand. “You don’t have to worry, love. Soon, none of this will matter. We’ll leave Central City, leave them all behind. Just you and me, far away from all of this.”
Y/N nodded, but their heart felt heavier than ever. Could they really betray their friends to protect him? Could they live with themself if they didn’t?
The day after
The dimly lit warehouse was silent except for the hum of Cisco’s speed-dampening generator. Blue streaks of energy pulsed through the coils, bathing the room in an eerie glow. Team Flash stood tense, hidden behind crates and scaffolding, waiting for Zoom to arrive.
Barry adjusted his earpiece and glanced toward Y/N, who stood in the centre of the room, their posture rigid, their face set in an unreadable mask. “Y/N, are you sure about this?” Barry asked, his voice barely a whisper over the comms.
“I’m sure,” Y/N replied, their voice steady, though their heart pounded violently against their ribs. “Just be ready to move when he shows up.”
Cisco’s voice came through the earpiece. “Trap’s live and ready to fry some speed. All we need now is one psychotic speedster to take the bait.”
Wells added, “Remember, the generator won’t hold him forever. We need precision. No mistakes.”
Y/N nodded, but the weight of their decision pressed down on them like an anvil. They had one shot to save Jay, and they couldn’t afford to hesitate.
A gust of wind tore through the warehouse, scattering loose papers and rattling crates. Zoom’s dark, menacing form appeared in the centre of the room, his glowing blue eyes locking onto Y/N.
“You called, love?” he drawled, his voice a low, dangerous rumble.
“Jay,” Y/N said, stepping closer to him, their hands raised in a gesture of surrender. “I told them I’d lure you here. But I’m not on their side. I’m on yours.”
Zoom tilted his head, his expression unreadable behind his mask. “Oh? And why should I believe that?”
“Because I love you,” Y/N replied, their voice trembling with raw emotion. “And because I know what they’re planning. They’re trying to trap you here with a speed-dampening field. If you stay too long, you’ll lose your speed.”
Zoom chuckled darkly. “Is that so? Clever, but predictable. And what exactly are you going to do about it?”
Y/N stepped closer, their hands brushing lightly against his chest. “Trust me. I’ll shut it down. But you have to let me handle this.”
Zoom studied them for a moment before nodding slowly. “Alright, love. Show me what you’ve got.”
Taking a deep breath, Y/N turned and walked toward the generator, their steps deliberate. Their fingers trembled as they reached the control panel. They could feel the team’s eyes on them from their hidden positions.
“Y/N,” Barry’s voice crackled in their ear, urgent and confused. “What are you doing?”
“I’m sorry, Barry,” Y/N whispered, their voice barely audible. “I can’t let you do this.”
With a swift motion, they pulled a wire from the generator’s core. Sparks flew, and the hum of the machine sputtered and died. The glowing field dissipated instantly, leaving the warehouse in shadows.
“No!” Cisco’s voice shouted through the comms.
“Y/N!” Barry yelled, stepping out from his hiding spot, his face a mixture of disbelief and betrayal.
Zoom didn’t hesitate. He blurred forward, striking Barry with a brutal blow that sent him crashing into a stack of crates.
“Jay, stop!” Y/N screamed, running toward him.
Zoom froze, his glowing eyes turning to Y/N. “This is what you wanted, isn’t it? To save me? Then stay out of my way.”
“Please,” Y/N begged, their voice breaking. “Don’t hurt them. Just leave. We can go now. Together.”
For a moment, Zoom hesitated. Then, with a nod, he grabbed Y/N by the waist and sped out of the warehouse, leaving Team Flash scrambling in his wake.
The world blurred around them until they stopped in the middle of a desolate cabin hidden deep in the woods. Zoom released Y/N, stepping back to study them.
“You betrayed them for me, you really did it
” he said, his voice tinged with something almost like admiration.
“I couldn’t let them hurt you,” Y/N said softly, their hands shaking. “But I don’t know if I made the right choice. They’re my friends, Jay.”
Zoom stepped closer, lifting their chin with one gloved hand. “They would have destroyed me. You chose the only side that matters: ours.”
Tears welled in Y/N’s eyes as conflicting emotions tore through them. They’d saved Jay, but at what cost?
“I hope you’re right,” they whispered, their voice barely audible.
Zoom’s expression softened for a moment. “You’ll see. I’ll prove it to you. Together, we’ll be unstoppable.”
As he pulled Y/N into his arms, they felt a pang of doubt that no amount of speed could outrun.

Author's note: Hiya ! Here's another part of Barry's story. It's probably the last part of this one :) I'm sorry it went super sad, I promise the next one will be more cheerful ! xx
You pulled away from the embrace and looked into Barry's eyes. “I don’t know if I can attend the wedding
 it would be too
 weird.”
Barry nodded, his gaze dropping to the floor. “I totally understand. I mean
to be honest with you, I-...” He sighed, shaking his head. “Nevermind.”
You studied him closely. He was staring at the ground with a deep frown, clearly troubled. You knew him well enough to sense when something was bothering him, and your curiosity was piqued. “Please, Barry, tell me,” you urged gently.
Barry sat down on the floor, leaning his back against the brick wall and pulling his knees close to his chest. He sighed heavily, rubbing his face with his hands. “I feel like
 I
” He paused, taking a deep breath. “I feel like a fraud. I feel like I can’t marry Iris if I’m not true to myself and
 to you.”
You sat down next to him, confusion etched on your face. “What do you mean, Barry?”
“I need to tell you the real reason behind our break up,” he said, turning to face you with a sorrowful expression.
“I knew there was a real reason behind it!” you exclaimed, feeling a mix of pride for being right and a deep eagerness to finally know the truth.
“The day
We broke up. I went to the future actually, for
something with Cisco. It’s not important. In the future
 we
we weren’t together. I was actually married to Iris.” He sighed deeply and leaned his head back against the wall, staring up at the sky. “The day we met wasn’t supposed to happen, Y/N. I met you right after I came back from the Speed Force, and
that wasn’t supposed to happen. Every minute we spent together
it was destroying the timeline. At first, Cisco and I found some anomalies that I thought I could fix, but
it was affecting the timeline too much. I couldn’t save us, so I decided to end our relationship to stop us both from suffering any longer. I thought it would be easier for you to hate me
” He covered his face with his hands, and you suspected he was hiding tears.
You were stunned. He had never stopped loving you; it was just a question of fate, which made it all seem so much more unfair. “So
it’s not about you not wanting to be with me anymore
 it’s about fate. We just
can’t be together. But you love Iris, right? I mean, she’s not going to suffer, is she?” you asked, unable to hide your concern for your former best friend.
“Yes, of course. I
I’ve had a crush on her since I was a little kid, it’s just
It’s not the same, and I fear it’s never going to be the same,” Barry sighed, his gaze fixed on the ground as if searching for answers there.
“I know you love me, Barry, and I will always love you too. But for the sake of your future and for the sake of your new life, it’s best if we never see each other again. Maybe then, with enough distance, you can find the peace to let me go and truly live the life you’re meant to have,” you said softly, a tinge of sadness in your voice.
He nodded slowly, still avoiding your gaze. “I know you’re right
Letting you go is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. Every fibre of my being aches at the thought of a life without you. You’ve been my heart, my light, my everything. The future may have shown me a different path, but that doesn’t erase the love I have for you, the love we’ve shared. I wake up every day wishing things could be different, that I could hold you and tell you that you’re the only one for me. I know I have to let you go, for your sake, for mine, for the timeline. But it feels like I’m being torn apart. I’ll never stop loving you, Y/N. You’ll always be a part of me, a part that no one else can ever replace. Every moment we spent together, every laugh, every tear, will forever be etched in my heart.”
He finally looked up at you, his eyes filled with a mixture of love, sorrow, and acceptance. You saw the pain etched on his face, mirroring your own. Slowly, he reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair away from your face, his touch lingering for a moment longer than necessary. “I’m sorry, Y/N. I’m sorry for everything,” Barry whispered, his voice barely above a breath.
You placed your hand over his, offering a small, sad smile. “There’s nothing to apologise for, Barry. We did the best we could with the time we had.”
He nodded silently, his thumb caressing your cheek. Neither of you spoke for a while, letting the weight of your final moments together settle between you.
You stood up after some time, swallowing hard as doubts and yearnings battled within you. The impulse to ask Barry to flee with you, to escape from everything, flickered briefly. But reality intervened, could a life together even be possible, especially if he weren’t the Flash?
Barry rose to face you, cupping both your cheeks in his hands. His face hovered inches from yours, his voice a murmur laden with love and regret. "I will always love you," he whispered. "Please, never doubt that." His forehead pressed gently against yours, a bittersweet embrace of your final moments together. His touch, his scent, and the warmth of his presence imprinted themselves on your heart.
Tears welled in your eyes as you came to terms with the painful necessity of letting go. The profound love and connection between you both remained palpable, yet the constraints of fate and duty stood firm.
"Barry," you whispered, voice catching in your throat. "Please
just let me go." His tear-filled eyes met yours, then lingered on your lips, torn between holding on to this moment and releasing you.
In that fragile moment, you wished for a kiss, a final seal of the love you both shared. But instead, Barry stepped back, his gaze filled with sorrow as he looked at you.
"Goodbye, Y/N," he managed, a sincere smile breaking through the pain.
"Goodbye, Barry," you replied, mustering a brave smile through your tears. "Thank you for everything."
With those last words, you turned away from CCPD's rooftop, the place where laughter, lunch dates, secrets, confidences, and kisses had once intertwined with love. Each step away felt heavy with the weight of memories, now etched into the corners of your heart.

Author's note: Hiya ! Here's the second part of Jason's story. I'm sorry things got out of hands and a little cheeky. It's getting hot in here ! Please tell me if you like it and if you'd like another part ! Enjoy :) xx
Two weeks had passed since you last saw Jason. There were no traces of him in the city since then, although you and Batman had arrested a few of his henchmen. When you had told Bruce about your encounter, he was as stunned as you were and determined to find him too.
You returned home that night at 5 am after a gruelling patrol. Exhausted but grateful for the distraction it provided from thoughts of Jason, you ascended the emergency fire stairs and entered through your living room window. The light unexpectedly flickered on, casting a soft glow across the room. Turning to investigate, your gaze fell upon the lamp next to your reading armchair. And there he was.
Jason sat there, legs casually spread, one hand supporting his tilted head as he gazed at you. His presence filled the room with a tension you could almost touch. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as you both locked eyes, the weight of unspoken words hanging in the air.
You nearly tripped on your rug, caught completely off guard by Jason's presence.
“We need to talk,” he said, his gaze unwavering.
“I
I’m sorry, I’m just so surprised to see you here,” you stammered, your voice betraying the mix of emotions flooding through you. Despite knowing he was alive now, his appearance still felt surreal, like seeing a ghost. Looking into his eyes brought a rush of memories flooding back, memories of the life you once shared, now suddenly tangible before you.
“I have a few questions. First one: how can you still work with the old man?” Jason leaned forward, elbows on his knees, hands clasped together, his eyes fixed on you.
You settled onto the armrest of your couch, keeping a measured distance from Jason, though every fibre of your being longed to be closer. His aloof demeanour made you cautious; you knew it wasn’t the right time to bridge the gap, not yet.
“After what happened
” you began tentatively.
“After I died, murdered by a lunatic clown he never wanted to kill, you mean” he cut in sharply.
His words sliced through the air, leaving you momentarily breathless. The anger and resentment in his voice were palpable.
“After that
” you continued, gathering your thoughts. “I was consumed by hatred toward Bruce. I held him responsible for what happened to you. I
”
“He is responsible” he interjected, reclining back into the armchair with a bitter edge to his voice.
“I hated him” you insisted, trying to meet Jason’s gaze. “For so long
After five years, I realised that hating him wouldn’t bring you back. I needed to keep myself occupied, to help the people of Gotham. I
”
“Oh, so you worked with him to keep busy” he scoffed sarcastically, a flash of resentment in his eyes. His dismissive tone struck a nerve, igniting a spark of anger within you. You knew he had endured unimaginable hardships, but his demeanour made it seem like your efforts had been effortless.
“I know you’ve been through hell and back, Jason,” your voice cracked with the weight of your emotions. “You didn’t deserve any of this. But losing you wasn’t easy for me either. I was going mad. We were so young, Jason. I was so lost without you. You were always the one taking the lead, my light in the dark, and suddenly, you were taken away from me. I felt so alone.” Tears streamed down your face, each one a release of years of suppressed emotions, anger, sorrow, and grief all crashing over you at once. “I started going out on the streets at night, just looking for danger, hoping that beating the hell out of anyone would make the pain go away. I
”
You took a deep, shaky breath. “I spent all my time wishing it was me instead of you, hunting down that fucking clown in hopes of killing him. But every time he mentioned you, I froze, and he beat me senseless with a crowbar!” You stood up, stepping toward the armchair to face him directly. “So yes, I went back to Bruce. We had a long, meaningful talk and shared our grief. He’s filled with guilt and sorrow too. I did no good alone; I was lost and confused. The only way to get back on track, to train better, to be better, was to work with him and put an end to that fucking clown.”
You wiped your tears and let out a deep sigh. “Fuck, Jason. I know I’ll never understand how hard it was for you, and I know you had it worse. But it wasn’t easy for me either. So yes, I went back to Bruce, I work with Bruce, but that doesn’t erase everything that happened. It doesn’t erase all the anger and sorrow. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you, that I don’t wish you were here
”
Jason stood up, now towering over you. He gently held your chin, tilting your face up to meet his gaze.
“I thought you had forgotten about me,” he murmured, his voice a breathy whisper. His eyes into yours, filled with a mix of longing and uncertainty.
“I could never forget about you
” you whispered back, your heart pounding as you got lost in his eyes.
“I was put in the Lazarus Pit. I went... totally mad, to say the least. There was a time when I lost my memory. But as soon as it came back, all I could think of was you. I was terrified that after all this time, you had forgotten about me
” His voice was husky and low, as his lips inched closer to yours. His hand slid from your chin to the back of your neck, his touch sending shivers down your spine. His other hand settled on your lower back, pulling you firmly against him.
“You still love being in control,” you whispered, your breath hitching. “What are you waiting for ? Kiss me, you fucker.”
Jason chuckled softly, his breath warm against your skin. “Giving orders now? That’s new.” He moved closer to your ear, his voice a tantalising whisper. “I think I like it.” He tightened his hold on you and captured your lips in a kiss filled with both love and fiery passion. Your bodies pressed against each other, the kiss deepening, conveying years of desire and longing.
When he finally pulled back, he gazed into your eyes, his own filled with intensity. “I said I had a few questions... Here's the second one: will you let me make love to you?”
You bit your lip, your voice barely above a whisper “Yes, please.”
You felt at home, a feeling you hadn’t experienced in far too long. His hands were everywhere, holding you, feeling you, igniting a fire that had been dormant for too long. His touch was urgent yet tender, as if he was memorising every inch of you.
He ran his hands down your thighs, his fingers trailing a path of heat. With a swift movement, he lifted you effortlessly, pulling you closer. You wrapped your legs around his waist as he carried you to the bedroom, his lips never leaving yours. The air was thick with anticipation, each step echoing the pounding of your heart.
As you reached the bedroom, he laid you gently on the bed, his body following yours. The room was dimly lit, shadows dancing on the walls, but all you could see was him. His eyes, dark and intense, held a promise of unspoken passion. He hovered over you, his breath mingling with yours, creating an electric tension.
Jason’s hands explored your body with a fervent need, his touch both familiar and thrillingly new. He kissed you deeply, the years of separation melting away in that single, passionate connection. His kisses trailed down your neck, igniting sparks along your skin. His hands roamed over you, relearning your curves, your warmth, your very essence.
With each touch, each kiss, you felt a flood of emotions, relief, joy, desire. His hands found yours, fingers intertwining as he pressed his body against yours. The sensation of his weight, his warmth, made you feel alive in a way you hadn’t in years.
He paused, his eyes locking onto yours, searching for any doubt. But there was none. Only love and longing reflected back at him. He kissed you again, slower this time, savouring the moment. His lips moved against yours with a mix of tenderness and urgency, as if trying to make up for lost time.
The passion was undeniable, a fire that consumed you both. The night was a blur of heated kisses, whispered confessions, and intimate caresses. It was a dance of rediscovery, each movement a testament to the love that had endured the years apart.
As dawn approached, you lay wrapped in his arms, the afterglow of your reunion wrapping around you like a warm blanket. You rested your head on his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. His fingers traced lazy patterns on your back, a silent promise of never letting go again.
After ten years of waiting, it was the most passionate and loving night you had ever experienced. You felt complete, your heart full, knowing that despite everything, you had found your way back to each other.

Author's note: Hiya ! Here's a little story about Barry. Let me know if you'd like a second part ! Enjoy ! PS: Sorry Iris, had to steal half of your man's heart for this one, I'm sorry love you !
You woke up in your flat in Central City on a sunny June day. There was something almost magical about Central City: it was always sunny, and people always seemed to have smiles on their faces. It was a stark contrast to your days in Gotham City and Star City. You adored Central City. You had moved here five years ago to be with your boyfriend, Barry. Unfortunately, after nearly five years together, he broke up with you without ever telling you why. He had excuses, but you knew him well; you knew he never revealed the real reason behind the breakup. When Barry left you two years ago, you were in the midst of planning your wedding, which made the breakup even more painful. You never really forgot Barry; you just learned to live with his absence. It helped not seeing him anymore, at least not in person. Having the Flash as an ex wasn’t easy; you could never completely forget him, as the Flash’s adventures sometimes popped up on TV.
You got up and got ready for work. You worked in a charming cafĂ© in the center of Central City, a job you loved. You were certain you would never run into Barry there, as he and his team frequented Jitters. Before heading to work, you checked your mailbox and noticed a letter with your address written in familiar handwriting. Intrigued, you opened it first, and your heart dropped when you saw it was a wedding invitation. Not just any wedding, the wedding of Barry and Iris. Enclosed was a small piece of paper with Iris’s handwriting: “You will always be part of the family. We can’t imagine this day without you. Hope to see you there, Iris x.”
Tears welled up in your eyes as you struggled to breathe. The West family had once felt like your own. You spent most weekends at their house and were very close to Iris she was one of your best friends. While you were dating Barry, both he and Iris had assured you that there was nothing romantic between them, that they were like brother and sister. Although you never doubted them, you always sensed there might be more beneath the surface. Barry never gave you a reason to doubt his love; you always felt like the love of his life, like he only had eyes for you. Yet, when you heard the news about them dating, you weren't entirely surprised. Despite this, you cut off all contact with the West family, knowing that seeing them together would hurt too much. You had a conversation with Iris about it, and she said she understood and would wait for you to be ready. That was two years ago, and you still weren’t ready.
You spent the entire day at work with thoughts of the wedding refusing to leave your mind. The idea of witnessing the love of your life marrying your former best friend was unbearable. Until now, you had never felt anger toward Barry since the breakup. But today, you were furious. How could he do this to you? Break up with you and then marry his best friend, the same person he had sworn never to have romantic feelings for while you were together? It was supposed to be you at that altar. How could he have moved on so quickly? Why couldn't you move on?
Returning home, you took a shower and went to bed. Staring at the ceiling, millions of thoughts swirled in your mind. You hesitated, unsure whether you should attend the wedding. You wanted to be there for Iris; she had made it clear she wanted you there. But how could you possibly watch her marry the love of your life?
As tears rolled down your face, memories flooded back: the day you met Barry, your first date, the day you moved in together, the little dates you had on the roof of CCPD during his lunch breaks, the day he proposed
 and the day he left.
You grabbed your phone and typed in Barry’s number to write a text. You needed answers; you needed to talk to him before deciding whether to attend the wedding. But you hadn’t seen him in two years. What if he was still the Barry you knew? What if seeing him brought everything back?
“CCPD rooftop, tomorrow at lunch.” You sent the message, turned off your phone, and tried to find some sleep.
You got ready the next morning, trembling with a mix of eagerness and fear at the thought of seeing Barry. On the drive there, doubts plagued your mind, but it was too late to turn back now.
Entering CCPD, you did your best to avoid Joe. You didn't want to see the pity in his eyes, knowing he might see you as the almost-daughter-in-law who never was. Familiar faces greeted you along the way, forcing you into brief, friendly chats you could barely focus on.
Finally, you reached the rooftop and waited for Barry. After five minutes of pacing back and forth, considering whether to just leave and forget all of this, the door opened. Barry stood a few meters away, his eyes widened in surprise. After two years of silence, he never dared to dream of seeing you again, yet here you were.
“Y/N,” he said, looking at you as if he were seeing a ghost. Hearing your name from his lips made your heart flutter until you remembered he wasn’t yours anymore. “H-how are you?”
You shook your head. “I’m not here to small talk or catch up. I’m here about the wedding invite.”
He rubbed the back of his neck, taking a few hesitant steps towards you. “I
Iris insisted, but I thought it would be better to ask you in person, not through the mail. I’m sorry, I
” He sighed, clearly struggling. “I’m sure you hate me after
after everything. I know we were supposed to-”
You cut him off, anger boiling over. “You know what, Barry? The worst part of all this is that I never hated you. I spent so long trying to understand what I did wrong, why I deserved to be left so suddenly, without any warning. I blamed myself.” Tears streamed down your face. “Fuck,” you whispered, frustrated at losing control in front of him. “I never hated you,” your voice cracked. “I’m sorry if you weren’t happy with me. Truly, I am. I hoped you’d get everything you wanted, but I also hoped I’d never have to hear about it.” Your throat felt thick with sobs, making it hard to speak.
Barry’s eyes were teary as he looked at you, his expression a mix of concern and sorrow. He reached out, hesitating to pull you into an embrace, but you pushed his arms away. “Why can you move on and I can’t?” your voice broke again. “I feel like I’ll be waiting for you at the altar for the rest of my life.”
Barry stepped closer, wrapping you in the warmest embrace. You collapsed into his chest, sobbing uncontrollably. All the pain, anger, and sorrow of the past two years poured out. He held you tightly, just like he used to when you were sad. For a moment, it felt like you were his and he was yours again.
He gently whispered in your ear, “I’ll forever hate myself for doing this to you. But trust me, I had my reasons, and they were good ones. You will always be one of the people I cherish the most. Not a day goes by without me thinking of you. I will always treasure the time we had together. But I couldn’t stay with you. If I could have, I would have. Don’t get me wrong, I love Iris, I really do. But I think I will always love you too.” His voice cracked with emotion. “She might be the love of my life, but you’ll always be the loss of my life.”
And with those words, you both held each other on the rooftop, under the warmth of Central City’s sunlight. Though the embrace felt like home, a bittersweet reminder of the love you once shared, the reality of your separate lives cast a shadow over your hearts, leaving you both in a poignant blend of nostalgia and sorrow.

TW: Death, grief, violence.
Author's note: Hiya ! So here's a story about Jason Todd ! I'm doing Barry next. Please tell me what you think about if and if you want me to write a second part or not. Also I'm sorry it's quite sad ! Enjoy !
You woke up in your bed, greeted by the dim light filtering through the curtains on this cloudy day in Gotham. Turning to the empty space beside you, you couldn't help but let out a sigh. Today marked Jason’s death anniversary, and each passing year seemed to weigh heavier on your heart.
Sitting on the edge of your bed, you gazed at the photograph resting nearby, a cherished memory frozen in time. It captured you and Jason in the serene embrace of Wayne Manor's garden, back when life felt simpler and the future held endless promise. Both of you were just sixteen then, your smiles reflecting the innocence of youth. But mere months after that joyful moment, the cruel hands of fate tore Jason away from you forever, a casualty in the ceaseless war against the Joker.
Jason was your first love, a flame that burned brightly in the short time you shared together. Though your teenage years were marked by the chaos of Gotham's streets and the weight of responsibility as part of Batman's team, in Jason's arms, you found solace and a sense of belonging.
Even though your time together lasted  just over a year before tragedy struck, you knew deep in your heart that Jason was the one. A decade had passed since that fateful day, yet the ache of his absence still lingered, a void that no other love could fill. Despite attempts to move on, to find solace in the arms of others, nothing could compare to the bond you shared with Jason. In the years that followed, there were fleeting connections, shallow romances, and empty encounters, but never again did you experience the depth of emotion and connection that defined your relationship with Jason. It felt as though your heart had been forever tethered to his, leaving you yearning for a love that could never be replaced.
You dressed in the familiar attire of your alter ego, preparing yourself to descend into the depths of the Batcave. You had spent five years after Jason’s death not talking to Bruce, the wounds of Jason's loss driving a wedge between you. Yet, the call to protect Gotham remained stronger than the bitterness that lingered in your heart. With resolve, you adopted a new costume and a new name, trying to leave behind the memories of your former self and the pain of losing Jason.
Stepping into the Batcave, the weight of grief hung heavy in the air, palpable even in the dim light of the cavernous space. The silence was suffocating, each member of your small, fractured family lost in their own private sorrow. It felt as though the very walls of the cave echoed with the echoes of your collective pain, a constant reminder of the loss that had brought you all to this moment.
Breaking the heavy silence, Alfred's gentle voice cut through the sombre atmosphere, offering tea as a small gesture of comfort. You accepted gratefully, taking a seat beside Bruce, the years of distance and resentment momentarily forgotten in the shared weight of your grief.
“There’s uh
a new guy in town. Appeared this morning, he robbed a warehouse,” Batman sighed, his hand rubbing his temple in frustration. “Goes by the name Redhood apparently, and his helmet and name seem to be inspired by the Joker’s first identity
”
You let out a weary sigh. “Another fool devoted to the Joker and his madness
 great.”
“Yeah
 uh
I tracked down what he’s looking for. This guy seems to be trying to build some type of grenade. It's not quite clear, but there’s a chance he’s going to try to break into the STAR Labs warehouse close to the docks tonight. Do you want to take care of it?” Batman's gaze remained fixed elsewhere, his reluctance to meet your eyes palpable. Today, of all days, his guilt and shame weighed heavily upon him, a burden you knew all too well. You had blamed him for Jason's death for years, said things you now regretted deeply. Though you had both spoken about it and tried to move on, the pain lingered, making every interaction a struggle for both of you.
You nodded solemnly. “I’m on it.”
You arrived at the dock as nightfall descended, perched on the roof of the warehouse opposite the STAR Labs building. Through the downpour, you observed figures, likely henchmen of Redhood, attempting to breach the facility. You chose to take your time, waiting to be sure of their numbers before engaging in combat. The rain battered relentlessly, obscuring your vision and adding an extra layer of challenge to the impending confrontation.
“You should watch your back,” a distorted voice rasped behind you. Surprised, you whirled around to face Redhood, his menacing presence looming before you. He pointed at you and let out a chuckle “ I see the old man still has fools to follow him in his war against crime. Let’s see if he still knows how to train fools like you !”
In the ensuing clash, you found yourself outmanoeuvred and overpowered by Redhood's uncanny skill. Each strike seemed anticipated, every defensive move countered effortlessly. Despite your reputation as a formidable fighter, you struggled to comprehend your sudden struggle.
Summoning every bit of strength you had left, you initiated a move you rarely used, the one you once deemed your signature. But to your astonishment, Redhood intercepted it with ease, seizing you and pinning you against the cold, unforgiving wall.
“I can’t believe it
Y/N how can you still work with him
” Redhood said in a whisper before taking a few steps back from you.
A wave of disbelief washed over you. He knew your name, your techniques, and referred to Bruce as "the old man." It couldn't be... yet there was no denying the truth that stared back at you.
With a flick of his helmet, Redhood revealed the face beneath, the face you thought you'd never see again. It was Jason, older and scarred, yet undeniably alive. As your eyes locked with his, a rush of memories flooded your mind, the face you knew by heart, the one you woke up to every morning, kissed every night. But now, instead of the warmth and laughter you once shared, all you saw was anger etched into his features, and a jagged scar marred his once flawless visage, a cruel reminder of the Joker's heinous act that had robbed you of Jason years ago. The revelation shattered your world, leaving you kneeling in the rain, tears mingling with the relentless downpour.
“J-Jason?” you whispered, your voice trembling with disbelief. “How... how is this possible?” The torrent of emotions overwhelmed you as you gazed upon the face of the man you thought lost forever
You couldn't tear your gaze away from his face. The face you believed was lost to you forever. Yet, as you beheld him, a bittersweet ache gripped your heart at the sight of the scar across his once familiar face. Time seemed to stand still as you knelt there, tears mingling with the rain, confronted with the painful reality of seeing the love of your life, now marked by the cruelty of the Joker.
As he stood before you, a tumult of emotions swirling within you: confusion, hope, and a crushing wave of guilt. Guilt for not searching for him, for allowing years of grief to consume you while he was left with pain and anger. The revelation left you grappling with the weight of missed opportunities, the echoes of regret reverberating in the depths of your soul.

You were sitting on the top of a roof somewhere in Gotham City, sitting on the edge swinging your legs in the void. Working with Batman and Robin, Jason Todd, was quite tiring as you decided to work every night to help them.
As you were lost in your thoughts, you heard someone behind you “Hi y/n ! Look what I got ! Time for a little big belly burger break right ?”. You turned your head and recognised Jason Todd aka Robin. He had joined your family three years ago as your dad, Bruce Wayne, found him about to steal the tires of the Batmobile. But you did not see him as a brother, more like a best friend, a crush even.
“Oh god Jason you read my mind ! I am starving !” you smiled widely as Jason sat down behind you “Well, I am no telepath but you’ve been patrolling for three hours now and we didn’t have dinner so!”
You both ate your burgers chatting and laughing and trying to guess what jobs did the people in the building across the streets have, according to the decoration of their flats which you could see from where you were sitting.
You turned to Jason “So
Bruce told me you went out this afternoon and didn’t want anyone to know where you were going ! Are you hiding a girlfriend, Jason Todd ?” you chuckled a bit trying to hide your nervousness and poked his shoulder. You were praying in your head that the answer would be No, because you adored him, you were just too shy to say or try anything.
“A girlfriend ?” he laughed and shook his head no “I wouldn’t have time for a girlfriend ! Or I’d have to find a vigilante girlfriend so she’d understand that if I suddenly leave or give no news it’s because I am saving the city and not because I am cheating !” you both laughed and then he smiled at you “but, I guess I have the perfect candidate next to me” he winked at you.
But you didn’t say anything, you just blushed. Oh how you wish you had said something. You kept thinking that if you had said something, maybe he wouldn’t have gone to the Joker’s lair that night, maybe he would still be alive today. Or at least, he would have known how much you loved him

Today

You were on a mission to stop the selling of new lethal weapons sold by Don Falcone. You were hiding on the beam of a hangar located at the docks, watching Don Falcon’s goons playing poker, waiting for the buyer. Everything had been calm for the last two hours when suddenly, the front door opened. The silhouette of a tall athletic man wearing a red helmet, brown leather jackets and black trousers and combat boots walked in. “Hello boys !” the man said with a robotic voice due to his helmet covering his whole face “I guess I am not the one you were expecting !”. Falcon’s minions all grabbed their guns in panic “ Who the fuck are you ?” asked the bigger one.
You put a finger on your com in your ear and whispered “Bats, there’s an unexpected visitor here. Red helmet, can’t see his face at all, dark  leather jacket and black trousers and combat boots. D’you know him ?” you asked.
“Never seen anyone like that. Do you need me ?” Batman asked. “Nah, I’ll let you know if I need help.”
“Well, you see, I don’t really like what Don Falcone does to this city, so I’m going to prevent you from selling those guns. In fact, I’m going to leave with those guns without paying.” the red helmet guy said.
The criminals laughed and the biggest one took a step towards the hooded man and said “I don’t think so, unless you’re Batman, you’re not stopping anything.” The hooded man laughed “Batman ? Trust me, I am worse than Batman.”
You frowned, worse than Batman ? You’ve never heard of that guy. How could he pretend to be worse than Batman ?
“Oh yeah ?” the criminal laughed “and why is that Mister Red Head ?” “Well first, the name’s Red Hood and second” the man quickly grabbed a gun and shot the big criminal right between his eyes, the body of the tall big man fell, as the others watched in shock “unlike Batman I do kill”.
You put your finger on your com again as the other criminals started to try to shoot the Red Hood. “Bats, the guy kills, calls himself RedHood !”
“Red Hood ? That’s the name the Joker took before he fell in the acid ! Be careful we need Don Falcon’s men for trials ! I am coming ! Be there in ten!” Batman said.
You took a batarang and hit the gun of the Red Hood, it fell on the floor and the other criminals stopped as well.
“Shit  ! It’s the Bats !” one said
“Fuck this, I’m out of here !” another one said, trying to escape.
You used your bat ropes to hang two of them on the beams.
“Batman !” the Red Hood said, taking one criminal hostage and putting his other gun on his temple “Come down here if you dare !”
You stayed hidden, trying to figure out a plan.
The Red Hood started to get angrier “Come down Batman” he screamed “Come and fight me if you’re a man ! Come kill me because if you don’t I will surely kill you !”
You carefully and silently got back down on the floor and hit him with a tasing ball, making him drop his gun. He groaned in pain and as his hostage left running, he rubbed his hand. “Oh you came down ? How nice of you !”
You stayed in the shadows as Red Hood walked around “You won’t be able to defeat me Batman, I know you by heart” he chuckled “I can predict your every move, I know how you fight !” he started to kick in empty boxes trying to find you “ Come now so I can kill you !” he screamed as he walked next to you, not noticing you.
You took the opportunity to jump on his back, wrapping your legs around him and your arms around his throat trying to suffocate him so he could pass out. He grabbed both your forearms, made you swing above his head and threw you right against the empty boxes, you groaned in pain.
“What do we have here ?” he walked to you as you tried to get up, grabbed you by your hair and made you look at him. “Oh I see” he smirked “Batman didn’t come, he let the little girl wonder come uh ?” he let go of your hair. “Come fight me, Redblaze” he took a step back and got in a fighting position.
You got up, in pain. How could he know that name ? That’s a name you were thinking of taking when you first started to do vigilante work with your dad. Not many people knew it. Sure you tried to say it while arresting your firsts criminals but it was about ten years ago.
You fought the man for a good ten minutes, you were exhausted. It was as if he could read your mind, he countered your every move and kept hitting you and you barely managed to hit him. It made you more and more frustrated, it was the first time in almost twelve years of vigilante work that a fight was this hard, you never struggled like that. After all, your dad trained you since you were a child. Even if you didn’t start the work of vigilante when you were a child, you were the daughter of Bruce Wayne and he always wanted you to be capable of defending yourself in case of danger. You were good at fighting, really good.
“C’mon Red ! That’s all you can give me ?” the man laughed, “I’m not even tired !”
He was teasing you, and it made you even more frustrated, you screamed as you tried to punch him the harder you could in the face. He barely moved and laughed, as you screamed in pain.
“You can’t break my helmet but that’s a good try !” he grabbed you by the throat, you were panting, exhausted. “No big belly burger for you” he headbutted you and you passed out.
When you woke up, you were on the hospital bed in the batcave, still wearing your suit. “Sir, she’s awake !” Alfred said and your dad came to your side. “y/n ! Are you okay ?” he asked, worried but trying not to show it too much.
“I think I am
I am so sorry ! Could you catch Falcon’s goons ? I hung them on the beams !” you said.
Bruce shook his head no “They were shot
but we will have other opportunities. I took a look at the security cams of the hangar
that was a tough fight.” He said going back to the batcomputer.
“Yes
He kept wanting to fight and kill you
 I
Can I see the video ?” you asked and your dad nodded, rewinding it.
You watched. Watching it on screen made it even more frustrating for you, he countered each and every attack of yours as if it was nothing.
“You see ?” you pointed at the screen “it’s like he knew what I would do before I even had the chance to do it ! It was even more frustrating than training with you !”
“Come fight me, Redblaze” the man on the screen said. “You heard that ? Only a few people knew about that name dad ! It’s
” you sighed.
“He knows us, personally” your dad said, staring at the screen “he’s angry at me, he knows about you
it must be someone we know.” said your dad.
“I can assure you that it is not me Master Bruce” Alfred jokingly said. You smiled at Alfred, amused by his sense of humour.
“No big belly burger for you !” you heard from the computer and immediately turned your head. “Wait ! Play that again !” you asked. Your dad rewinded the video and your eyes widened.
“Someone we know
 supposedly mad at you
who knows which name I took ten years ago
knows my moves.. says I don’t deserve a big belly burger after I lose a fight..” you looked at your dad, eyes filled with tears “Dad, this is Jason
 he’s alive !”.
