The Road to Superman(2025), Part 2: Operation Butterfly....

Ok, since that Superman movie comes out in a month, let's check in on the one member of Task Force X that still works for Waller...

Peacemaker(2022)

Following the events at Corto Maltese, Peacemaker/Christopher Smith is sent on a new mission to fight against an alien invasion. He's joined by his pet Eagly, Leota, who is Waller's daughter, as well as fellow hero Vigilante/Adrian Chase.

Of course, there are complications during said mission....one being Auggie Smith, an abusive and homophobic man who's also a villain named White Dragon who leads a white supremacist group....he's also Peacemaker's father!

After a struggle, the team is able to stop the invasion and kill White Dragon as well. In the end, Leota exposes Waller's operation, which lands Amanda in quite a lot of trouble.

In fact, the events of this operation result in the creation of a team of commandos....

But we'll get to that later because next time, we are heading to Palmera City to meet a teenaged hero with a bug theme!

The Bootleg Multiverse by Adi Shankar....

Hey! Long time no see, fellas! I've been busy the last few weeks... so I'm going to talk about this franchise in particular.

Believe it or not, Shankar started out making fan films before winding doing all these shows!

First up is Castlevania....

Castlevania(2017-2021)

This 4 season long show is a retelling of the events of Dracula's Curse with added elements to flesh things out.

The characters are as follows:

Castlevania: Dracula, Death and Carmilla

Dracula's Curse: Trevor, Syphia, and Alucard

Curse of Darkness: Hector, Isaac, and Saint Germain

Yeah, it's mixing elements from various games to make a story, and it's a pretty good adaptation of the franchise from the 80s and 2000s. It got a sequel series 2 years later!

Castlevania: Nocturne(2023-Present)

Taking place during the French Revolution, it sees the descendant of Trevor Belmont take on a vampire queen named Bathory...

The characters for this adventure are:

Rondo of Blood: Richter, Maria, and Annette

Symphony of the Night: Alucard

Harmony of Dissonance: Juste

Bloodlines: Erzsebet Bathory

Again, like the above series, it's a good adaptation of the franchise games from the 90s and 2000s!

Then there was a show that very same year that was a crossover bonanza of video game franchises owned by Ubisoft!

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix(2023)

This series is set in a cyberpunk dystopia in the year 1992 as a resistance group fights against the tyrants who run it. The crossover part is in the characters that make up this world!

I'll just list the franchises involved:

This show is pretty fun and is an adaptation of DMC3: Dante's Awakening.

DMC3: Trish, Arkham, Agni, and Rudra

DMC4: Echidna

DMC2: Airus and Lucia

DMC3 Prequel Manga: The White Rabbit

Yeah, it's getting a second season, which is going to adapt DMC 2, so it's going to be fun as hell!

The Road to Superman(2025), Part 1: Project Starfish....

In about 2 months, we'll get a brand new Superman film courtesy of James Gunn, which will kick off a brand new DC Movie Universe. So I figured it was time to shed some light on the first installment in this new universe.....

The Suicide Squad(2021)

On the island nation of Corto Maltese, its government is hiding a world ending threat. In order to combat this threat, the US government turns to Amanda Waller and she creates a team from the bowels of Belle Reve Prison.....

Task Force X(Suicide Squad)is a team of criminals forced to do missions to get shorter sentences.

The team consists of.....

Harley Quinn

Captain Boomerang

Weasel

Blackguard

Savant

The Detachable Kid

Mongal

Javelin

Bloodsport

Polkadot Man

Peacemaker

Ratcatcher 2

King Shark

Being led by Rick Flag, the team heads for the island.....and half the team dies:

Weasel drowns

Blackguard, TDK, and Javelin get shot to death

Mongal accidentally kills herself and Boomerang

Savant tries to run, but Waller detonates the bomb in his neck

This leaves Rick, Harley, Bloodsport, Ratcatcher, Polkadot Man, King Shark, and Peacemaker as the only ones to finish the mission.

Upon getting to the massive tower, the group discovers that Starro the Conqueror, a massive starfish alien, is being held there and being experimented on. This project was also backed by the US government, and the whole mission was a cover-up operation.

Chaos erupts following this reveal:

Peacemaker is revealed to be on orders from Waller, and these orders get Rick Flag killed

Peacemaker is promptly stopped by Bloodsport

Starro escapes his confinement and goes on a vengeful rampage.

The Suicide Squad bands together and is able to kill Starro before he destroys the world, but they lose Polkadot Man during the fight.

In the end, the team earns their freedom by blackmailing Waller... but 2 members of the team had survived:

Weasel survived his drowning and was picked up later, and Peacemaker survived his injuries.....

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Review....

Hey, long time no see! I've been busy with things, but I feel like I should talk about this show since it's getting a second and third season.

The story is that it's set in a universe where everything from Phase 1 to 2 occurs....but Phase 3 is where things change. Midtown High gets destroyed during a battle between Dr. Strange and an alien symbiote while Peter is bitten by the spider that falls out of the portal the 2 combatants came from.

This sets off a chain reaction that results in Peter getting picked up by Norman Osborn by the time Civil War's events occur......as well as meeting villains his counterpart from Earth-199999, never met!

His circle of friends is different as well as he goes to a public high school, so no Ned, Flash, Liz, etc. His new ones are:

Pearl

Nico Minoru

Lonnie Lincoln

The series is pretty good, and it's also a stealth sequel to the recently ended What If...? Series by way of a cameo from The Watcher!

It's on Disney Plus, and come October, it's going to be joined by Marvel Zombies, which is a sequel series to the zombie episode from the first season of What If...?.

Plus, we might see this version of Peter show up in the next Spider-Verse film!

Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Review....

It's pretty good! Yeah, that's it. Though I should probably point out the differences that this has with Sonic Adventure 2...

First up.....Shadow

In the games, Shadow was made by both Gerald and Black Doom. In the film, Shadow is already fully formed and found in an asteroid that lands on Earth in 1974.

Plus, in the games, Shadow got amnesia after stopping the Eclipse Cannon, but this one walks it off just fine!

Second.....Maria

The movie's version doesn't suffer from an incurable disease and is pretty much healthy, which makes her death more tragic since she basically had her whole life ahead of her...

Third......Gerald

Gerald was long dead by the events Sonic Adventure 2, but here he survives well into the present day, and just like in the game, he's the true villain of the whole film.

That's essentially the only difference for Gerald I could see.....

Finally, there's the Eclipse Cannon, which is now just a space station with a lazer cannon on it. Yeah, there's no Space Colony Ark in this film.

No Bio-Lizard either, but he appears in an in-universe monster movie that Shadow and Maria watch in the base.

The reason for this review is that they announced the release date for Sonic 4:

March 19, 2027!!!

MCU: The Story So Far, Final Part: New Age of Heroes....

Here we are.....the homestretch!!!

2025: Moon Knight, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Echo, She Hulk Attorney at Law, Ms. Marvel, Thor: Love and Thunder, Werewolf By Night, and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special....

Over in London, a man with the most severe case of multiple identity disorder named Steven Grant/Marc Spector/Mr. Knight/Moon Knight/Jake Lockley is tasked by the Egyptian God of Vengeance named Khonshu to stop a mad cult in Egypt. He's joined by another hero named Layla/Scarlet Scarab during his adventure...

Wakanda, on the other hand, isn't doing too well as King T'Challa tragically passes away due to a mysterious disease. But his sister, Shuri, has no time to grieve as the ruler of the underwater kingdom of Talokan named Namor decides to wage war against the surface. Luckily, Wakanda gets help in the form of Riri Williams/Ironheart....

Meanwhile, over in Oklahoma, Maya Lopez/Echo tries to cut ties with Wilson Fisk/Kingpin while also reuniting with her estranged family. This would lead to Fisk having an idea he would put into action the following year.....

Let's head back to Los Angeles for the 3rd superhero hailing from here, Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk! After getting a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner/Hulk, she tries to live her life but gets thrown into all kinds of situations that involve using her powers....

Over in New Jersey, we meet Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, who's a Captain Marvel superfan who becomes a superhero upon getting a bracelet... she's also revealed to be Earth-199999's first mutant, as in having the X-Gene!

Across the galaxy, Thor catches wind of Gor the God Butcher and gathers up Korg, Valkyrie, and Jane Foster/The Mighty Thor to go on a mission to stop him....

Back on Earth, during the month of October, a gathering of monster hunters has a hunting contest to see who gets a magic stone. The hunted is a swamp beast named Ted Sallis/Man-Thing, who was just minding his own business, and his only allies are Elsa Bloodstone and Jack Russell/Werewolf By Night.....

A month later, during Christmas, Drax and Mantis kidnap Kevin Bacon, the actor, in an attempt to cheer up Peter Quill/Star Lord...

2026: Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, Secret Invasion, The Marvels, Agatha All Along and Captain America: Brave New World...

In San Francisco, Scott Lang is riding high on being the hometown hero due to his big part in undoing Thanos' plan. But him, Hope, Cassie, Hank, and Janet get pulled into the Microverse, a location deep in the Quantum Realm, and fight a tyrant named Kang the Conqueror!

Out in space, the Guardians of the Galaxy wind up doing battle against the High Evolutionary, who has a connection to one of the members of the team... a very traumatic connection, to say the least.

Back on Earth, a group of Skrulls decided to try and take over Earth due to the fact that Captain Marvel has yet to find them a home. Nick Fury has a problem with that naturally....

After this, Captain Marvel winds up on an adventure that has her team up with Monica Rambeau/Binary and Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, in order to stop a Kree accuser by the name of Kala....

Back in Westview, Agatha is approached by a teenager, and soon after, she gathers a team of witches to get her powers back. We meet Death, and we also learn the true name of the teen who sought Agatha out: Billy Maximoff! Turns out Wanda's kids are alive.....and she's been dead 2 years... bummer.

By the way, does anyone remember that fight the Eternals had that resulted in Tiamats being a corpse in the Indian Ocean? Well, the governments of the world named it Celestial Island, and it houses a new element that is stronger than Vibranium........

That new element is adamantium.... Gee, I wonder if a certain department in Canada can make use of it?

Speaking of the government, the newly elected president, Thaddeus Ross, is putting together a peace treaty around this resource, but a government conspiracy threatens to uproot it. Luckily, Sam Wilson/Captain America 2 and Joaquin Torres/The Falcon 2 are on the job and discover it has to do with an event from 16 years ago.....

There, now we are at the present day as we zoom on back to NYC and see a stand-off between 2 people:

One is the new mayor of New York who's got quite the shady past...

The other is a lawyer who helped out a teenager 2 years back who had a double life as well....

It's only a matter of time until they're........

Born Again.....

MCU: The Story So Far, Part 6: Life After The Blip.....

Okay, now let's check back in on Earth-199999 since there's more adventures that occur....

2024: Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Spider-Man Far From Home, Eternals, Spider-Man No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Hawkeye...

In San Francisco, a man named Shang Chi winds up revisiting his past when the Ten Rings led by his father seek him out, which leads to a battle with an ancient demon from another dimension.

Meanwhile, Sam and Bucky contend with the Flag Smashers as well as a man named John Walker, who the government wants as the next Captain America. By the end of it, Sam becomes the new Captain America while John becomes U. S. Agent...

Now, let's check in on Peter Parker/Spider-Man as he heads off to Europe for a vacation, which gets derailed by the Elementals, a group of monsters from another universe. He's assisted by Quentin Beck/Mysterio, a hero from another universe, in beating them......except it's a gigantic lie as Beck is actually a disgruntled Stark Employee that Tony crossed some years back. Spider-man is able to stop his plan, and he even gets the girl.....then The Parker Luck hits in the worst way possible.

Halfway across the world, a group of immortals called the Eternals springs into action when the Deviants return. The following battles result in the body of a Celestial appearing in the Indian Ocean, and a few of the Eternals being taken away by their angry Celestial boss to parts unknown....

Back in NYC, Spider-Man's bad luck leads to his life being completely uprooted when Mysterio frames him for his crimes as well as reveals his identity. He's able to clear his name thanks to a certain blind lawyer, but he goes to Doctor Strange for help with his identity. The spell that's used winds up backfiring, and it results in visitors from 3 different universes showing up:

Spider-Man Trilogy: Spider-Man, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Sandman.

The Amazing Spider Man Duology: Spider-Man, Electro, and The Lizard.

VenomVerse: Eddie Brock/Venom.

The 3 Spider-Men are able to stop the crisis and get everyone home, but only when Strange casts a spell that erased all knowledge of Peter Parker from the world, leaving only Spider-Man intact.....but 2 things occur in the aftermath:

Eddie leaves a piece of the symbiote behind at the resort he was at during his temporary stay....

Due to the events on Earth 1610B, Vulture and Prowler are whisked away from Earth-199999....

Following this, Doctor Strange gets a visit from America Chavez, who arrives on Earth-199999 looking for help. This kicks off an adventure that transports the 2 to Earth-838, where we see some familiar people, and the whole thing ends with the death of Scarlet Witch as she never really recovered from the events in Westview...

Later that December, in the days leading up to Christmas, Hawkeye's past as Ronin catches up to him as he's targeted by 2 assassins:

Echo, an assassin who wants revenge for her father's death...

Yelena/White Widow, who was tricked into thinking he killed Natasha/Black Widow...

He also has to contend with Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, but he gets help in the form of Kate Bishop, who saw him in action back in 2012 during the alien invasion. By the end of it, Hawkeye retires and passes the mantle onto Kate, making her the new Hawkeye from then on.....

Yeah, life gets hectic after the Blip, and next time, we're gonna see new heroes arrive on the scene as this new generation of heroes takes off!!!

MCU: The Story So Far, Part 5: The Multiverse.....

Before we keep going, let's hop back to that time heist they pulled in 2023....because what happened there in something big coming into existence!

The TVA, The Void, The End of Time, 1893, 1994, and 2077: Loki Season 1 and 2...

During the time heist, a minor hiccup resulted in Loki escaping, but this winds up catching the attention of the Time Variance Authority who promptly captured him.

This results in an adventure that ends with Loki becoming the god keeper of the newly born multiverse after the previous one died...

But let's take a peek at these new worlds, hmm?

Pre-1600's to 2019: What If...? Seasons 1,2, and 3...

Following the death of the founder of the TVA, the multiverse was born, which resulted in numerous other universes that vary wildly:

In one universe, Killmonger became king by killing both T'Challa and Tony Stark.

Another universe sees Peggy Carter become a super soldier.

There's a universe where a zombie virus from the Quantum Realm caused the apocalypse!

There's a Pacific Rim styled universe where the heroes fight kaiju in giant mech suits!

But the one who watches them is Utau, a Watcher who eventually forms the Guardians of the Multiverse when a variation of Ultron gets too out of control.....which leads to more adventures down the road!

But let's check out 3 particular universes....

1998-2007: Blade Trilogy, Spider-Man Trilogy, X-Men Trilogy, Daredevil, Elektra, Hulk, Man-Thing, The Punisher, Ghost Rider, The Wolverine, X-Men Origins, and Fantastic Four Duology...

In this universe, The Avengers, The Guardians of the Galaxy, SHIELD, and others don't exist...

Instead, we have a selection of heroes that each deal with something different:

Blade and Ghost Rider deal with vampires and demons...

Daredevil, Elektra, and The Punisher deal with various gangsters...

Hulk deals with gamma monsters...

There's also a swamp beast in Florida named Man-Thing...

There's also 2 super teams: The Fantastic Four and The X-Men...

There is one thing that exists in this universe, it's Spider-Man who has fought Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, and Venom!

1962-2024: X-Men First Class, X-Men Days of Future Past, X-Men Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, Punisher War Zone, Blade miniseries, Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance, The Amazing Spider Man 1 and 2, Madame Web, New Mutants, Legion, The Gifted, Deadpool, Deadpool 2 and Deadpool and Wolverine...

In this universe, The X-Men is the only team that exists having been formed in the 60's but after fighting numerous foes, they fell apart in the early 90's which made things harder for all mutantkind....

But luckily, by 1998 onwards, more heroes rose:

Blade and Ghost Rider fought against vampires and demons as usual...

The Punisher deals with a mobster named Jigsaw....

The New Mutants are formed following an incident at an asylum and go to help out other mutants in the world...

A woman named Cassandra gains powers and later forms a team with 3 women with spider powers...

Much like the other universe, this one has it's own Spider-Man and this one deals with a company called Oscorp and fought against The Lizard, Electron, The Rhino and the Goblin but he loses his girlfriend Gwen Stacy....

But there's one other hero, er, anti hero, that the other universe has.....Wade Wilson/Deadpool.

This mercenary winds up crossing paths with the TVA and with unexpected help, saves his universe from certain destruction!

2018-2021: Venom, Venom Let There Be Carnage, Venom The Last Dance, Morbius and Kraven the Hunter...

In this universe, the only hero around is Spider-Man....until he disappears under mysterious circumstances a year later while in Europe.

Instead, we get these 3:

Eddie Brock/Venom

Michael Morbius/Morbius the Living Vampire

Sergei Kravinoff/Kraven the Hunter

These guys battled various foes like Riot, Carnage, Rhino and Lucien....but one of them took a quick but unexpected trip to another reality.......

Before we wrap this up, I'm going to spotlight 2 additional universes that are related to a certain web slinger....

2018-2020: Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse...

In another universe, well, more like an alternate tooniverse, Peter Parker/Spider-Man is a 26 year old superhero who dies trying to stop a supercollider used by Kingpin.

But he's succeeded by Miles Morales who gets help from 5 variants of Spider-Man:

Peter B Parker, a hero in his early 40s..

Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman...

Spider-Noir, basically Peter if he lived in the 1930s...

Spider Ham, a cartoon pig...

Peni Parker and SP//dr....

Miles successfully stops Wilson with their help but a year later has to stop a villain named The Spot when he becomes a multiversal threat while dodging the Spider Society led by Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099 who function like the TVA used to before it got better....

1942-2015: Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man...

This universe is both animated and is an exact copy of Earth-199999(MCU)but there's a major difference, Tony never meets Peter Parker...

When Midtown High gets destroyed during a super battle, Peter gets transferred to a normal high school and gets an internship at Oscorp under Norman Osborn.....

Whew! OK, that's everything for this little detour, so next time we'll hop on back to Earth-199999 and continue the recap with everything that happens after Endgame....

MCU: The Story So Far, Part 4: The Blip...

Here we are, the end of the Infinity Saga, and boy, is it a roller coaster of an ending!

2018: The Runaways S2 and S3, The Punisher S2, Jessica Jones S3, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D S5, Ant Man and The Wasp and Avengers: Infinity War

Following their escape from their cultist parents, The Runaways battle and defeat the Pride but soon face another threat in the form of Morgan Le Fay, but they do get help from Cloak and Dagger!

Back in NYC, Frank Castle deals with Billy Russo/Jigsaw, who survived his encounter and wants revenge. Jessica Jones, on the other hand, must battle her own adoptive sister when she goes nuts.

Meanwhile, Team Coulson returns from the future and must battle the harbinger of the apocalypse, Glenn Talbot/Graviton. They succeeded, but it doesn't matter because this happened when a mad titan decided to make his move....

Over in San Francisco, Scott and Hope fight against Ghost and are able to save her and Janet, who is Hope's missing mother as well as the missing wife of Hank Pym.

These last 2 events occur during Thanos arrival....

The heroes split into 2 teams:

Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and the Guardians of the Galaxy fight Thanos on Titan.....

Captain America, Falcon, Black Widow, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, War Machine, Vision, Bruce Banner/Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Thor, Rocket and Groot battle the Black Order and their forces.

But it's not enough, and Thanos snaps half of all life out of the universe and destroys the Infinity Gauntlet, so it can't be fixed, which prompts a swift death at the hands of Thor......

During this event, 2 things occur:

Scott winds up trapped in the Quantum Realm during an expedition...

Hawkeye loses his family to the Snap and becomes a violent vigilante known as Ronin....

Not to mention, several people disappear:

Black Panther

Spider-Man

Dr. Strange

2023: Avengers: Endgame and Wandavision

5 years pass, and Scott is released from the Quantum Realm by a rat triggering the machine, and after reuniting the Avengers, goes on a time heist, which costs the life of Black Widow.

But they manage to bring back everyone, but they're attacked by Thanos, who's from an alternate timeline....

The battle for the universe begins as The Avengers, The Guardians of the Galaxy, Wakanda, the Ravagers, an army of Sorcerers, and Asgardians battle against Thanos and his army and are victorious but it costs Tony his life.....

Following these events, Scarlet Witch couldn't cope with Visions' death, which had reality altering consequences for the town of Westview, New Jersey, but it resulted in Monica Rambeau getting super powers, a white clone of Vision getting the memories of the original and Wanda coming into possession of the Darkhold(turns out there's 2 books of the damned).....

Well, that's it. The Infinity Saga is over, but a brand new saga is about to begin and we'll dive into next time....see ya then!!!

MCU: The Story So Far, Part 3: Age of Heroes, Part 2

Let's keep going through this age of heroes...

2016: Captain America: Civil War, Black Widow, Black Panther, Iron Fist S1, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Slingshot, The Defenders, The Punisher and Doctor Strange

Things get off to a rocky start as the government in their infinite wisdom hit the Avengers with the Sokovia Accords due to the last 3 incidents....you know...the alien invasion, Hydra and that cluster#$%^ with Ultron. This Accord puts most of the Avengers at odds with each other, and things only escalate from there on....

By the end of it, the Avengers are shattered, disassembled if you will, with only Tony and Rhodey left behind and the rest on the run, all thanks to a vengeful man named Zemo who took advantage of the situation....

Black Widow winds up on the run, and it results in a reunion with her adopted family, White Widow, Red Guardian, and Melina. Together, they take down the notorious Red Room!

Over in Wakanda, Prince T'Challa/Black Panther, who lost his father during the whole Avenger civil war, gets a family reunion of his own when his cousin Killmonger shows up to take the throne.....which works at first but he's foiled in spectacular fashion!

Back in New York City, Danny Rand returns after disappearing for years and comes face to face with family secrets, lies, and an entire ninja clan! Jeez, these last three heroes are dealing with familial issues, huh?

Well, make it four because up on the darkside of the moon, the royal family of the Inhumans have a destructive dispute that ends with the family relocating to scenic and beautiful Hawaii......

But let's leave the sunny beaches of Honolulu and head back to the concrete jungle of NYC. Remember that Adrian Toomes fellow I mentioned? Well, it turns out that Stark had run him out of a job by starting up Damage Control, and now he makes a killing as an arms dealer selling alien guns.

He now goes by The Vulture and is assisted by Phineas Mason/The Tinkerer and Herman Schultz/The Shocker, but they're all defeated by Peter Parker/Spider-Man, a teen superhero that Tony befriended/recruited during that aforementioned Avenger civil war....

Elsewhere, Coulson's team gets a new member in the form of an inhuman with super-speed named Slingshot!

Back in the Big Apple, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist get together as the Defenders and save NYC from a deadly plot by the ninja clan known as The Hand!

Some time later, we see that Frank Castle/The Punisher is back on his crusade against crime and goes head to head with Operation Cerberus, a highly corrupt government operation....

While all of this was happening, a surgeon named Stephen Strange suffers an accident that takes him on a year-long journey that ends with him battling a dark god named Dormammu as the Sorcerer Supreme!

2017: Cloak and Dagger S1 and S2, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D S4, Jessica Jones S2, Luke Cage S2, Iron Fist S2, Daredevil S3, Thor Ragnarok and The Runaways

Over in New Orleans, two teenagers gain powers and become Cloak and Dagger as a result of the Roxxon Oil Corporation and save the city from their nefarious schemes...

Up in Los Angeles, Team Coulson encounters Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider II as they try to destroy a supernatural book called the Darkhold, which results in a Life Model Decoy named AIDA going berserk and trapping the team in a simulation.

They escape the simulation and are able to destroy AIDA and rid themselves of the Darkhold......that is until they're whisked away to a post-apocalyptic future and have to escape!

But let's hop back to NYC and check up on our favorite Defenders, shall we? Dear God, are they having a hell of a time!

Jessica's past comes back to give her more problems...

Luke has to navigate a grudge match between 2 crime families...

Iron Fist deals with a villainess named Typhoid Mary..

Daredevil has to deal with a psychotic FBI agent named Dex under Kingpins' employ....

Let's head back to the Big Easy and check on the duo of Cloak and Dagger, huh? Oh, they're fighting a dark magic user named D'Spayre!

Over in Thor's neck of the woods, he finds out he has a sister named Hela, who's a little pissed off about being imprisoned. Following a series of events that led to her death and the destruction of Asgard, the now homeless Asgardians head off with Thor, Valkyrie, Hulk(who was on another planet for 3 years), Loki, Heimdall, Korg and Miek to get a new home....Earth!

Speaking of which, back on Earth, 6 teens and a dinosaur(yes, really!)living in Los Angeles find out that their parents are a crazy cult called the Pride and team up to stop them.....

Okay, that's a lot, but now we are reaching the end of the Infinity Saga, and oh, boy, is it going to be a wild ride indeed!!!!

MCU: The Story So Far, Part 2: Age of Heroes, Part 1...

Ok, now things start to speed up as several other heroes start appearing....

2013: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S1 Part 1 and Thor: The Dark World

After everything in New York City, Phil Coulson is brought back from the dead and assembles a team to deal with certain situations....

Thor fighting against a dark elf named Malekith, which results in London becoming the battleground for these two and the Agents do clean up duty in the aftermath.

2014: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D S1 Part 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 and 2 and Daredevil S1

The following year, things take a drastic turn as Captain America stumbles upon a conspiracy that sees Hydra return, and it even hits Coulson's team as one of them had been working for Hydra the whole time...

Meanwhile, halfway across the universe, a ragtag team of outlaws, Starlord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot, become the Guardians of the Galaxy. They save the galaxy twice over the span of a few months and pick up 2 new members: Nebula and Mantis.

Back on the Earth, NYC winds up under the grip of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, but his criminal empire comes crashing down when he runs into Matt Murdock/Daredevil, lawyer by day and vigilante by night.

But Matt isn't the only vigilante in New York City....

2015: Jessica Jones, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D S2 and S3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Daredevil S2 Part 1 and 2, Ant-Man and Luke Cage

Over in Midtown, a private investigator named Jessica Jones winds up dealing with a vicious man named Kilgrave/The Purple Man.

Elsewhere, The Avengers and Coulson's team continue hunting for Hydra and eventually find Baron Strucker and take him down. But then, Tony creates an AI named Ultron that goes nuts and tries to make the world better by annihilating the human race...

By the end of that whole affair, Thor heads home, Hawkeye and Iron Man retire, Hulk disappears, while Captain America and Black Widow recruit Vision, Falcon, Scarlet Witch and War Machine to the new team.

Meanwhile, NYC is invaded by ninjas called the Hand, and Daredevil must battle them with help from another vigilante named Frank Castle/The Punisher as well as his ex girlfriend Elektra...

Over in San Francisco, an ex-con named Scott Lang becomes Ant Man and helps Hank Pym and Hope van Dyne in fighting against the corrupt CEO Darren Cross/Yellowjacket...

Back in NYC, an ex-con named Luke Cage, who has super strength and bulletproof skin fights to protect Harlem from a drug dealer named Cottonmouth, as well as deal with a corrupt politician named Mariah...

During all of this, Coulson's team was dealing with not only a faction of S.H.I.E.L.D agents that wanted to take them down but also contend with the Inhumans.....

Okay, so next time, we'll see more heroes pop up as things pick up steam as we approach the end of the Infinity Saga....

MCU: The Story So Far, Part 1: Avengers Assemble!

Okay, since the new movie is coming out, I figured I'd bring everyone up to speed on what's going on....

Let's start at the beginning!

1942-1945: Captain America: The First Avenger

The story starts here when Steve Rogers takes a serum that turns him into a super soldier. He spends the next 3 years fighting Hydra until he takes a 70 year long power nap....

1946-1947: Agent Carter's adventures

In the 2 years following the war, Peggy Carter has a few adventures that set up S.H.I.E.L.D.'s formation....

1995: Captain Marvel

Decades later, a woman crashlands on Earth, and this results in an adventure that has a young Nick Fury help stop the Kree who is oppressing another species called the Skrulls.

Following this, Captain Marvel decides to spend the next several years helping the Skrulls find a new home....but she eventually comes back.

2010: Iron Man

A billionaire industrialist named Tony Stark gets a literal change of heart after he discovers his weapons are being used by criminals and suits up as Iron Man.

Following a fight with his business partner Obadiah Stane/Iron Monger, he reveals his identity to the world and grabs the attention of Nick Fury, who's older and the director of S.H.I.E.L.D!

2011: Iron Man 2, Thor and The Incredible Hulk

The following occurs over a week:

Day 1

Tony Stark begins his expo and juggles a government that is after his suit....

Over in Brazil, a fugitive scientist named Bruce Banner is in hiding...

Day 2

While attending a race, Tony is attacked by Ivan Vanko/Whiplash and later that night, he loses a suit following a fight with his friend James Rhodes...

Back in Brazil, Banner is attacked by General Ross and transforms into the Hulk and manages to escape....

Day 3

Tony spends this day solving his many problems and not only creates a new element but discovers that Vanko is now working for Justin Hammer...

In Culver, Bruce reunites with Betty, and after a fight with the army, he escapes with her as they both plan to head to New York City to get a cure for Banner.

Up in Asgard, the Mighty Thor acts arrogant, which earns him a timeout on Earth and also gets the attention of Agent Coulson, who goes to inspect the hammer.

Day 4

Iron Man, War Machine, and Black Widow team up to take down Whiplash and save the civilians at the expo, which also sees Tony and Pepper finally start dating...

Thor tries to get his hammer back but fails while up in Asgard, Loki takes over the kingdom.

Day 5 and Day 6

Lady Sif and the Warriors Three go to pick up Thor, who regains his hammer and status as a god goes to Asgard and beats Loki in a fight that ends with him falling into a pit.

The next day, Bruce and Betty arrive in NYC to get the cure for his condition. Later that night, one of Ross's men turns himself into a monster, which results in a fight that ends with Hulk winning and escaping into the wilderness.

Day 7

It's right around this time that Steve wakes up from his 70-year nap and he's brought up to speed on how much he missed....

2012: The Avengers and Iron Man 3

S.H.I.E.L.D is attacked by a very much alive Loki, and in response, Nick creates The Avengers, a team that includes: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Hulk.

The team battles an alien invasion in New York City and saves the world from Loki before going their separate ways.

This event also affects the lives of 2 people who live in NYC: Kate Bishop and Adrian Toomes....

By the time the holiday season rolls around, Aldrich Killian and his group A.I.M. attack Iron Man, but he's able to beat him and manages to even get an operation done that removes the shrapnel from his heart.....

Ok, that's the first part, and things are only going to get crazier from here as lots of characters start appearing, and the adventures start getting bigger!!!

Sonic the Hedgehog Retrospective, Final Part: Shadow Generations....

This game is the latest game, and it came bundled with a remaster of Sonic Generations and the only addition the remaster has is that you can find Chao hidden in the stages.

The Shadow Generations part is brand new....it even had a 3 part animated prequel called Dark Beginnings, which you can see on YouTube!

The game starts on the ARK and sees Shadow encountering a revived Black Doom, but then the Time Eater attacks and Shadow is sent on a time and space adventure to stop him....

I recommend you play this game cause it's tons of fun and the story is cool since it shows 2 characters who died are brought back interacting with Shadow.....

Sonic the Hedgehog Retrospective, Part 20: Sonic Superstars...

This game had 3 prequels. One was a comic miniseries, one was an animated short, and the other was a 3-part webcomic...

Fang the Hunter

This shows how Fang came to work for Robotnik, which lands him the Warp Topaz, which was last used by Starline from the main universe.

Fang's Big Break

This shows how Fang and Robotnik meet Trip, who's a new character for the game.

Trio of Trouble

This was about the heroes and villains discovering the islands that the games events occur at.

Sonic Superstars

This game is fun! As in, it's fun solo because the multiplayer is a mess cause the camera has to focus on 4 characters who usually gun it.

Just watch the Super Gaming Brothers play it cause it's hilarious! Though Sonic Mania's multiplayer is way better because of the splitscreen, kinda surprised they didn't do that with this one.

Plus, a fun detail when playing solo in certain stages you can see the other characters in the background of the stages!

Ok, so that's done. Up next is Shadow Generations which has been bundled with the remastered Sonic Generations, and it's just in time for the 3rd Sonic movie, which is coming out on the 20th of this month!
