Quackitys grieving as something that has to be hidden in new Lmanburg...he has a Manburg flag in his enderchest during the LN streams, a flag that isnt seen anywhere else on the server, in a place where noone else could ever see it. Sure theres shields with that flag on it, but he owns an actual physical banner, which leads to the question of when the fuck he acquired that. Lets all imagine him hunched over in the dark of a room, weaving the flag of a destroyed nation until his fingers bleed and stain the wool red, okay?

Okay. I had a vision. This took about seven hours and I hope that the quality wont get butchered. I am genuinely proud of how this turned out. Some Manberg accurate pumpkinduo-

Thinking about the first few weeks/months after Schlatts death...it's tragic to think about the broken routine.

Quackity still making two cups of coffee in the morning, getting angry at himself and dumping the second cup in the sink but never daring to actually break or throw the cup away.

Him picking up a smoking habit because the smell reminds him of Schlatt. Wanting to be angry and tell everyone that there was not a single good moment. Knowing that he would be lying. Knowing that he longs for the soft touch in the morning, the bruised fingers brushing hair out of his face, believing that Quackity is still asleep. And Quackity will never tell...how could he ever admit that he longs for the man's company. He wants him to say that Quackitys work is impressive. That he is doing well. That he is doing better.

don’t know who needs to hear this but AO3 comments section is not Letterboxd. giving unsolicited criticism to a fanfic writer does not make you a “fanfic critic” because there’s no. such. thing.

giving unsolicited criticism to a fanfic writer just makes you a spoiled, rude, entitled asshole at best, makes the author stop posting their works altogether at worst.

a reminder that it’s always okay to just stop reading and quietly click away from a fic if at any point you feel like you don’t like it for whatever reasons. unless specifically asked, there’s no need to tell the author, whose work you read for free, how you dislike something they wrote for themself for fun.

Mmm....my toxic boys. Bold of you to assume that I won't still write them as fluff though-

But gosh...just the image of Glatt actually visiting LN, not having any obstacles at night, being able to get through walls and entering Quackitys room so quietly. Being able to lie down and hug the man from behind. Quackity tensing, feathers puffing up and his pulse rising. The touch feeling so familiar, which makes him nostalgic and angry at the same time.

"don't you miss me?"

Interrupting the silence and causing Quackitys thoughts to raise, being quick to anger and sitting up on the bed.

"Is this what you want me to say?! That I could ever miss you?"

"Oh. It's not for me, pumpkin. It's for you. Who knows...maybe the confession will make ya feel better."

Something that I think of whenever I get in pumpkinduo mindspace, is that Quackity was probably haunted by Schlatt in more ways than one. Whenever his bartender would pour a glass of whiskey, whenever Wilbur would go on about presidency, whenever Sapnap just laughed a little too heartily. Even when Tubbo would come through, just seeing the same horns of a man he once adored would mentally spin him. Whenever Fundy would vocalize his thoughts on hating this place and wanting to leave? He’s taken back to the rare late nights he would spend with Schlatt, where all he would do is complain about wanting to go home, but staying just for him. Whenever Sapnap would get too close to him in bed and spoon him? Those few and far between nights where Schlatt actually wanted his attention. He learned to hide it well after a while, but Glatt showing up did him no real good in the end. Anyways, I am a firm believer in pumpkinduo was bad for each other, but still had some love for the other. Goodnight

Sometimes I have to physically get away from the monitor when coming across an opinion that I don't support- like, someone voices some thought about lore, character analysis, relationship stuff and on the inside, I can just scream how much I don't agree but I bring myself to just scroll because I have to remind myself that...fandom is supposed to be fun. I will not always find all posts to be in my world view. But I also know that the person posting is posting out of passion and love for the fandom, so I have to push my disagreement down and just scroll..many then rant to my partner about it- because I need to tell someone how different my view is-
