as a bi girl, i’m fucking tired of hearing other wlw say that f/f relationships are inherently better, healthier, and more pure than m/f relationships. stop telling wlw that women are never abusive. stop telling bi girls that men cant love them the way women can. if you believe that love is love, fucking act like it.

Not only does our so called friends insisting on being friends with our abusive exes make us feel like they don't care about us, it also:
- makes us feel like we'll always be second best to our abuser
- we aren't worth it
- you don't believe us
It doesn't matter what form of abuse your abuser favoured, it hurts just the same. Sexual, physical, emotional, mental, verbal.

WAYS TO SUPPORT/BE AN ALLY
Here is a compilation of places to donate (IF you can, simply reblogging and sharing this can help) and petition to sign. I found these websites and organizations on twitter.
DONATIONS
THE MINNESOTA  FREEDOM FUND: Donate to this to collect funds to pay jail bonds for the protesters who get arrested.
BLACK LIVES MATTER: An organization fighting for the BLM movement. Donate if you can.
BLACK VISIONS MN: an organization that is led by Black, Queer and Trans people. Donate if you can.
NAACP Legal Defense Fund: Fights for the overall equality fight. Donate if you can.
PETITIONS
Willie Simmons has spent 38 years in prison for a $9 robbery. He had two prior convictions similar to robbery that he served time for. He was prosecuted under the Alabama Habitual Offender law and was given a life sentence for his third strike - stealing 9 (NINE) dollars. Sign his petition.
Breonna Taylor was killed by police who were conducting an UNANNOUNCED drug raid, where they gave no request to enter. They bashed her door and entered, shooting her EIGHT times. They were in the WRONG HOUSE.
George Floyd was killed by a police officer who knelt on his neck and suffocated him to death, after George pleaded with the officer and told him he couldn’t breathe. The officer had pulled him from where he sat in his car on an alleged FORGERY. You can also text “FLOYD” to 55156
ARREST THE OFFICERS WHO KILLED GEORGE FLOYD: The main police officer who murdered George is being kept in PROTECTIVE CUSTODY. You probably have heard he was arrested, but this is NOT TRUE. He was placed under PROTECTIVE custody because of the riots and “threats” on his life.
If you know of ANY other organizations or petitions, PLEASE ADD TO THIS LIST. The fight for justice doesn’t end here, it will never end. Especially when the president of the United States calls white supremacists good people and protesters of a mans death THUGS. USE YOUR VOICE. NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE. FUCK COPS. FUCK “BLUE LIVES”. ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER!

Why do adults that claim to not be racist do that thing? Yanno the thing? The disgusted pause after they say "black" in reference to a person? But then someone else will say something blatantly racist and they'll tell them off for being racist?

Honestly, if you consider a movement that’s only ever been about the rights and livelihood of black folk to be political, you really need to educate yourself and ask yourself why.
Please ask yourself why you consider the lives of black people to be politics. Please ask yourself why, in a government ruled by white men, you consider black lives to be politics. Why do you feel comfortable putting black lives in the hands of white men? It shouldn’t be political to say that black people deserve to live in a world with no fear. It isn’t political to say the black people deserve the same rights as others. And if you honestly, truly believe it is, you were never here for black people in the first place.
Listen to black people when they speak. Stop ignoring what’s going on because you’re uncomfortable.

I haven't spoken out in my own words yet on the black lives matter movement. I haven't known what to say. I haven't wanted to speak out of turn. I haven't wanted to speak out without knowing everything that I can. But I've realised that I will never know all the facts. But that's okay. I can still speak out. As long as I keep in mind the one fact that covers everything; that black people are murdered by white supremacist cops in America solely for being black. It's a sad fact and one that needs to be changed.
I know some white people who aren't speaking out because they believe that black people will handle it and that it doesn't affect them and because they can't be bothered. But to win this fight against injustice, we all need to band together. Every voice, every name makes a difference. And the honest truth? The people whose minds we are trying to change will be more partial to the white people fighting in the name of the BLM movement. Those are the people they listen to more. That in itself is disgusting, but it's true.
If you're unsure whether you want to speak up and actively support for whatever reason, just think. What if the roles were reversed? What if you and people like you, people you love and know, were being killed simply for being? If you were fighting the injustice against you? You would want as many people as possible to back your cause. The BLM movement needs as many supporters as it can get.
Even if you can't attend a protest, or are scared to for your safety and your loved ones' safety, you can still help. Donate. Sign petitions. Speak up. Research. Stand with our black brothers, sisters, family. Say their names. Remember the fallen and fight for the future.

Black Lives Matter
Humans were born equal until some decided to treat others unequally. Racism is no more just a dirty thought, It is now a strong fuel to murder, the merciless creator of fear and the despicable parent of injustice. Officers should protect lives not take away innocent ones. Why is it SO hard for some to understand that just because someone doesn’t share the same race as you do NOT make you any superior nor make them any inferior and vice versa. This inequality has been normalized by many for way too long. When you are being racist you are helping strengthen an idea and that same idea can kill someone. You might not end up with a criminal record or get your hands bloody dirty but you were indirectly the cause of a murder.
Rest In Peace George Floyd.
