ik there would probably be a lot of plot holes with this but imagine if it was revealed that serena was actually gossip girl. like if she was using it as a ��all press is good press” to stay relevant as her life fell apart. like we’ve seen that serena is often very careless, self centered, as usually values her own tempory happiness over the well-being of others, and expects to be forgiven immediately after every mistake that she never learns from. it would make sense, she is a complete mess after (and honestly in) high school, and would probably need something to cling to. tbh anything would be better than the actual ending though.

ok but honestly i am BEGGING everyone to be extremely cautious while reading news, make sure to read multiple sources, EDUCATE YOURSELF please. as someone who is really interested in and follows journalism, it has been really worrying seeing headlines about trump attempting to manage who is alowed to report about the white house, and now the washington post limiting information that they publish, as well as the president of the united states regularly speaking and posting blatantly and objectly false facts. all of this is just screaming censorship, if you live in the us i would highly recommend making sure to read international news as well as local news as a comparison. just in general make sure you are reading multiple viewpoints and sources.
