Buonissima cena all' Etnic di Cagno. Abbiamo mangiato cibi da tutto il mondo, carne di Canguro, Renna e Struzzo, lardo di prima qualità, tutto innaffiato da un'ottimo vino. On Sunday I visited Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Ljubljana (Lubiana in Italian) is one of the smallest european capitals, reflecting the fact that Slovenia is one of the smallest european states. Ljubljana's foundation has a mythological background, as the city is supposed to be built by Jason and the Argonauts, after they killed a Dragon that lived in the lake near Ljubljana (the Dragon is now the symbol of the City). The real Ljubljana history, reflecting the Slovenia's one, is linked to several foreign dominations (Austrian, Italian, German, ...) until Slovenia finally became an independent state in 1991. The city is as small as beautiful; the buildings are built in Barocco style, the river gives the City an unique atmosphere, and the Ljubljana Castle stands tall on the top of the City hill. Wonderful weekend... On Saturday I visited Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. It's an amazing city, with a lot of history, culture and traditions. It was originally built on one hill, then destroyed and re-builded on two separated hills, always in fight between each other, until they finally became a city in the XVII century. The city then wollowed the destiny of the balcanic zone in the ww1 and ww2, and became the capital of the Republic of Croatia in 1991.
