I’ve used this before, and I have something to add that helps me a ton. If you know the general thing you want to add to the scene, add it into brackets or something. That way you have an idea of what you were skipping when you ultimately come back to it.

For Example:

Description, cool action sequence. More awesome stuff going on. [Describe character a doing x] Even more cool stuff going on. Blah blah blah.

Ignore my weird sentences I used for this. You get the idea though. Don’t disrupt the flow you have going on if you can’t put into words what’s goin on in your brain. Hope this helps :D

writing hack: if you’re stuck, skip to the next dramatic confrontation. there’s always another one waiting.

This feels like one of those reverse fanfic tropes 😂 like instead of y/n stumbling upon the mafia boss killing someone ultimately leading to y/n getting kidnapped, no y/n does the killing and kidnapping
