MHA Limited Healing

Recovery Girl’s quirk (Heal) from My Hero Academia allows her to boost the human healing ability to incredible levels, being able to heal wounds that would have otherwise taken months to heal in a matter of seconds. It is, however, still limited.

Anything that even with time, the human body could not heal (for example, lost limbs), cannot be healed by Recovery Girl’s quirk. This leaves a collection of injuries that would be permanent even with Recovery Girl’s quirk.

Paralysis, a condition in which the nervous system’s connection to the brain is severed (usually at the spine) could not be healed using Recovery girl’s quirk because the human body cannot naturally heal it. Similarly, brain damage cannot be repaired using Recovery Girl’s quirk due to humans’ inability to heal neurons on their own.

Eri’s quirk (Rewind) could heal normally irreversible injuries sustained by a person. Instead of helping the body recover at a quicker pace, her quirk straight up undoes any damage (or any other effect) sustained. Conditions like paralysis, brain damage, lost limbs, or any other injury which Recovery Girl could not heal could be reversed using Eri’s quirk.

BNHA/MHA Writing Space Prompt

One of the characters accidentally uses their quirk to end up in space. (Uraraka floating too high, Midoriya jumping too high, Bakugou propelling himself too high with explosions, etc.)

Spoiler for what is likely after Season 4 (I don’t know what that is in the manga) Midoriya is revealed to have quirks that are embedded in One For All. At the time of writing this, only OFA, Blackwhip, and Float have been revealed. Perhaps Midoriya could have a quirk that enables him to stay alive in space?
