Guys my scyther keeps waking me up at two am to bring me weird things. Today he brought me...a key. A really rusty one. The day before he brought me an unlabeled VHS. He also brought me a tiny pokeball.

Ghost fun fact of the day!

While there are now several known ghost type pokemon, back in Kanto when pokemon were first classified, only Gengar, Haunter, and Gastly were classified as ghost types, so there was a time and place where there were only 3 ghost pokemon known.

EDIT: No, I'm not saying ghosts didn't exist before classification, nor am I saying fairy types didnt! This is more a lesson on the POKEDEX and how it has had poor information throughout history.

Is it normal for a pokemon to treat a young pokemon of a different as it's child?

My froslass found an eevee in the snow and brought it inside and is treating it as she treats the foster snorunts we kept in the past

if your froslass has already has a strong maternal instinct in the past it doesn't matter if that eevee is a different species. it could be a salamence for all she cares. thats her baby

Okay so I'm trying to sign up for my Trainer's ID to get replaced and like...they're asking me to input the gym badges I have when my Gengar ate them all and I'm not seeing a way to bring that up.

So would you say you miss Rylee as she was or? Are you happy with how Charlie is now?

Oooo, this is a tough one. I love Charlie to the distortion realm and back, but the thing is- Banettes are what they are out of anger. I try my best to keep Charlie happy, but sometimes I do think it'd be better if I was able to stop my brother from throwing him away. Charlie is, without a doubt, my best friend, but he's always gonna have a bit of resentment in him.

Who's on your team and how did you meet them? My mother used to raise ghost pokemon and I really want to do the same.

Hey!

My team currently consists of 5 members- Sable the Sableye, Toffee the Pumpkaboo, Meeko the Gengar, Ruby the Misdreavus, and, of course, Charlie, my Banette! I also occasionally have a Decidueye I call Tomas stop by my house, but he rarely shows up.

I met Sable when I was in a cave with my dad. He had recently bought me a little necklace with a piece of Topaz in it, and the next thing I knew, there was a weird humanoid thing following me. I was only 7 at the time, and this was before I found Charlie. I ended up giving it my Topaz necklace (Well, moreover throwing it- the cave guide suggested maybe it was attracted to my necklace, so I threw it into the darkness.) and that was that for a few years. However, a few weeks after I lost my Lillipup (She was 13 years old, I had to put her down due to cancer.) my dad decided to take me back to that cave. I had Charlie once again by this point, and once again, a weird figure approached me. I could tell it was the same Sableye. It had a dusk ball in its mouth, and it put it on the ground, and kept following me, kicking it towards me. Eventually, I deduced that they WANTED to be caught- Usually, pokemon prefer not to be caught- they're usually scared. After that, we became close friends and I tend to take them out on walks with me!

I met Toffee at this big farm on the outskirts of my town. I had gone there when I was 14, so the same year I caught Sable. Mom had asked me if I wanted to pick a pumpkin, to which I did. We hitched a ride on a tractor on over to their pumpkin fields and we wandered around for a bit, trying to find a good pumpkin or two to pick and take home. We were there for about an hour, and it was getting dark. Around this time is when I noticed some children were acting rather odd around a specific patch. I went over to investigate, but Charlie hopped off my shoulder and didn't really want me to until he could check. He walked forward, which caused the children surrounding the area to back away. In front of me, sat a tiny, yet very injured Pumpkaboo. She seemed so small, and the children were being quite rude about it, prodding it with a stick and saying really mean things about it. She seemed small, sad, and all alone. Charlie ended up rolling her over to me, and the rest is history.

Meeko, I actually caught about 4 months ago. This was back when I was still so anxious I couldn't go outside unless it was night. I was walking down to the pokemon graveyard where I buried my Lillipup- I always like to bring her flowers, and I even found her old blanket. I had these in my bag, when suddenly I felt as though something was walking next to me. By this point, I had studied ghost types long enough to know this was something from that line, or maybe even a Misdreavus. I had packed a little snack for myself, along with a few pokepuffs for Charlie in case he got hungry. I took out the food, which was chicken noodle soup I made right before leaving, in a tupperware container. I ended up leaving that and a pokepuff on the side of the road, as a gesture of kindness. I continued on my way, figuring I'd just clean up the mess on my way back. Well, on my way back, I was surprised to see a black blob sitting underneath a street light, right where I left the food. It was almost dawn, and the fella, who I now knew was a Gengar, bwomped right on up to me and hugged my leg, laughing. I thought he wanted to take my soul, but it turns out, no! He allowed me to catch him. I believe Meeko was initially someone else's pokemon, since Gengar don't show up in the wilds here. This would also explain how friendly he was to me.

Ruby, I got from a coworker back when I was healthy enough to work. Unfortunately, my physical and mental health have deteriorated since then, but I still work from home. We worked at this goofy haunted house called Cofagrigus Tomb, and I became close friends with this guy named Emu. Emu was very sweet, but loved to spook people just as much as me and Charlie did. However, near the final year he worked there, he started to drift away from ghost types, leaning more towards fighting types now. However, he didn't want to just leave his team. He instead gave them away to people on the staff team, and Ruby was supposed to go to my manager, but she floated over to me, and Emu laughed, before saying "Alright, I'll just give Toby Yamask."

Charlie, him and I go way back. Back when I was 3, my grandma gave me this little pokedoll. It was of a Rhydon, and I carried him everywhere with me. One day, when I was just about to turn 5, my older brother woke me up, holding Rylee the Rhydon. He kept saying he was gonna throw Rylee away if I didn't clean his room. I was very sick that day, so I just tried to take Rylee back and go back to sleep. Mom and Dad were at work, and my oldest sister was out training her team. I tried to take Rylee back but I couldn't. I watched him leave my room, and he came back with a trash bag. He threw Rylee into the trashbag, and left the house, coming back without her. I tried to get out of bed to get her from the trash, but I couldn't. Later that day, I told Mom what happened. The thing was, the Trubbish Team had already come. I cried for Rylee, and my brother was grounded. My mother also made him pay for a new Rhydon plush, but it wasn't Rylee. It never would be. A few years later, when I was turning 8, I gave the other Rhydon to a kid down the street. I was so, so saddened by the Rhydon's presence- my grandmother now having passed away. That night, I couldn't sleep. I kept hearing whispering in my room. I was cold, and almost crying. I missed grandma, I missed being young, and I missed Rylee. I remember turning over to see this weird, angry looking doll-like thing sitting by me, on my bed. It had the ribbon I tied around Rylee's neck. I knew instantly, this was Rylee. I missed her so, so much. And I could tell, that Charlie knew. He climbed into my arms and helped me sleep, and we've never left each other's side since. He spent the next day terrorizing my brother. That's the day I found out he now responds better to Charlie. He helps me sleep at night, wakes me up from nightmares, and helps with my SAD.

Little update on this for my liminal followers- This is no longer in effect, but due to a lack of content, I'm going to be transferring this blog over to a more-pokemon themed tumblr. There will still be liminal images from time to time, but expect less of that and more Pokemon posts.

Taking a break for a while. I'm not burnt out or anything I just need to punish myself as I'm failing almost every class and that's not good especially considering I'm an out of district transfer student.

Tourettes can actually be made worse by stress, and a good friend of mine from trainer school says that their Chimecho's bell soothes them.

Are there any pokemon that could help someone manage torrettes syndrome? Specifically with lessening ticks and redirecting harmful ones

I've heard that Chimecho are being trained to help with Tourettes in Johto. They can use Heal Wish to help lessen tics, and have enough telekinetic power to redirect more severe ones without hurting you or anyone else. I hope this helps!
