I am proud of myself. Because I did something that I never thought I’d do. I am Ukrainian and I can write poetry on English.

I am happy.

For this day I think it is important to share love. For people you love, friends, family, pets… Things you love most. And yourself, always love yourself, be proud of things you create.

Personal 2025 post, just to spit it out and close the door. Maybe will resonate with someone accidental.

2024 was intense and insane, it was a year of breaking down and recollecting myself again and again, and I should have been more careful with that period. Instead of quiet time of transformation, I was driving on the full speed running from pain and frustration. Crushing things, finding and loosing, becoming emotionally exhausted of everything, trying to fill gaps quickly, while I should have let them be and just grief.

Yesterday I finally managed to say my final goodbye to a person, who was dear to me for 15 years and who knew everything about me, so as I knew everything about them. Done and done, I know I deserved much better than lying, ghosting, fake smiles and pretending being my friend for the last three years, returning to me only when needed for them. In 2025 I will be kinder to my own self and will put myself as a priority. I have to learn to love myself. And even if I have no such close friend now, I will be such a friend for my own in the first place.

Let 2025 be quiet, but full of hope, kind and blossoming, growing all good things planted in 2024 for the better time. Newer things are waiting, better things are waiting. We lose things, but also gain them. One door closes, other opens.

There is my believe for this one, and it already started so well for me.

Happy New Year of the Snake, and I do not care it is a bit late, mine began today.
