That distraught moment where Megumi was like ¨What the hell is happening in Shibuya!?
That's me. Always. Everywhere. No need to ask me how I'm doing. Thatś how I'm doing. I am constantly in Shibuya Japan in the bloodiest Jujutsu Kaisen arc.

When I say, “Dazai is complicated,” I mean
Dazai objectively had the most autonomy when it came to joining the Port Mafia
His relationship with Mori isn’t straight out abuse so much as it is unhealthy.
Dazai was objectively not a good mentor. He uses Atsushi to psychologically abuse and manipulate Akutagawa
With Dazai’s relationship with both Chuuya and Akutagwa, I see him as a miserable individual collecting people like accessories for cosplay. He literally says that he joined the Port Mafia to come up against the worst of humanity to find a reason to live. A very flawed plan from someone so intelligent and I feel that this is a half-truth.  I think he wanted to immerse himself in darkness and evil to see if he could be “good” even if just by comparison. Throw yourself in a dark room, surround yourself with light and good (or chances to be light and good) and see if you have what it takes to be light and good yourself (He did not). Chuuya was a chance at a friend and an example of a vibrant, lively person. Akutagawa was a chance at being a mentor, or older brother. He failed heavily on both counts.
Case in point, I’m not sure if its canon to the manga, but in the anime, before Dazai shoots at Akutagawa (Dark Era flashback) he rants that if Odasaku had found Akutagawa he would have made sure Akutagawa came up right. Dazai states that he is not righteous and is hated by righteousness. Part of me wonders if Dazai adopted Akutagawa  as a way to emulate Odasaku and become a better man (or find a reason/sense of worthiness to live) that way and this was him realizing that he’d failed.  Again, I think he kept trying to emulate even a trace of light and found himself lacking every time, as he can up against his own horrific actions (and what he suspects to be his nature).

Today, Akutagawa has a question, and despite this hide-and-seek game being a constant of theirs for months, part of him wonders if Chuuya’ll tell him to scram once and for all, if he might ruin the last decent relationship he still has outside of his sister with his next question.
He asks anyway. “What was Soukoku, really?”
Chuuya sighs. Loudly."
Post Cannibalism arc, Akutagawa has questions about Soukoku to understand both Dazai and Shin Soukoku. He goes to the one person who can answer.
Analysis of power dynamics between Dazai and Chuuya, Akutagawa and...pretty much everyone else. Looks at Atsushi's statement of "It's no wonder Dazai up and left you without a word " I'm not overly nice to Dazai but I don't really fall into bashing.

I think Blake reminds Ruby of herself when she was younger with her immediate excitement realizing she was in a fairy tale and her taking more of the lead in the Ever After. Ruby resents who she was before and the fact that she can't be that anymore. She feels that she's letting them down by not being that.
It's just so crazy. Aside from Ruby being the youngest and yet the leader of the team, it's been one shitshow to the next. No one is okay right now. She was practically the leader of everyone, not just her team. And Ozpin's thoughts on leadership (which she passed to Jaune) weren't helping. This girl has had adults personally out for her blood since she was 15. And I don't think she and Yang ever talked about when Yang questioned her leadership decisions (in front of everyone) back in Atlas. I think she never forgave herself for Atlas (or Penny) and she doesn't feel like they have either. It's added insult to injury too because she knows that at least some of them think she's ineffective but they still look at her for guidance. She had literally just had a freakout and they were looking at her to help comfort Jaune too.
I also feel that Weiss and Ruby's relationship is a bit underdeveloped but I'm hoping that gets fixed soon.

There's so much to this episode that I don't even wanna analyze, cause I'll tie my brain in knots but I just gotta say, I love how Little's first response when she woke up and saw the metal lady was "We should leave immediately."

Kazuki and Rei's whole relationship is Kazuki being like "damn bitch, you live like this?" and then not letting him live like that.

I made a fic!
"And that thought rings out louder than his dad’s voice in his head. His mind goes quiet. His body becomes dumb, feigning ignorance that it ever had a brain. Ever had a personhood or a name to go along with the lethal sack of meat that it is. Once he loses the dead weight, he and the laundry machine get along great, really.
It’s amazing what he can do when he plays stupid. It’s amazing how often he isn’t really playing."
Rei and the concept of weaponized incompetence. (Spoiler: He’s not actually weaponizing anything. Not with cleaning and not very well. He either just really doesn’t know or is dissociating badly.)

I love this motif of Rei will always be coming with Kazuki if Kazuki decides that he is. There's at least 2-3 scenes of him bodily dragging Rei with him throughout the series, even as he tries to escape. In episode 8, we see Kazuki telling Rei to get in the car with Rei trying to argue and Kazuki interrupting as we watch Rei's shocked face. And the next scene we get? Rei is in that fucking car.
It's funny. It's adorable. It's oh-so liable to be flipped on its head in a super heartbreaking way now that Rei's dad is trying to make him choose.

What I'm saying: Haha, Rei said he wanted to be alone and hung up on Kazuki and Kazuki wasn't having it. Mama Kazuki set him straight alright, lmao.
What I mean: The inherent love in claiming someone and following up on it. The intimacy of saying "you're one of mine, even at your worst." To not just see them when they don't want to be seen, but come collect them for that seeing, that loving. My heart is bleeding, someone kill me.
