I'm very very VERY convinced that nobody on this site know how to write wolverine truly.

Canon barely can anymore.

Closest we got was DP3 wolverine for live action wise. Since y'all wanna talk bout live action movies sm.

Bad ass,bad mouth,depression havin,gruff,heart of gold,ol logan.

Like i love sweet Logan. He's a treat. But like a treat,it needs to be earned.

Y'all haven't earned it.

Until you can understand,respect,and love genuinely his wolverine.

You DO NOT DESERVE HIS JAMES "LOGAN" HOWLLET.

Also he's short. Like short short. But not weird short like in DP3. Lol. But pretty short. Shorter than most men.

My fave,and still best iteration outside of comics. Is the xmen animated series. Xmen 93 did a good job at balancing him. But nothing hits like the old series. Minus the screaming about an xmen member (mostly jean and they DO NOT HANDLE THAT WELL BTW! God i hate how she's written in most media. But this aint about her.)

A good wolverine that shows how he is around younger kids is xmen evolution. Good wolverine too.

But nothing compares to the comics.

Because we won't be able to provide a good iteration without having him do what he does best. And it's not very nice.

But i digress.

Maybe someday i can find some fan works that encapsulate my fave xman. And one of my fave comicbook characters.

Logan's a but more than a childhood crush. He's an inspiration for my outlook. That "it is what it is,fuck it,do it anyways" vibe. That feeling they're gonna talk anyways. Do it scared,do it angry,just do it. But do it with passion and give em hell while doin it. I dunno Logan's free spirit and good heart. And even struggles. Speak to me.

That i don't really belong anywhere. Yet i can be just about anywhere too.

My hearts too good to be a "bad guy" but I'm too much of an conflicting persona to be truly "good" in peoples eyes.

People have used my kindness for weakness,or a "weapon" .

So yeah. I get him.

I just feel many don't really talk about the true grit that wolverine feels EVERY SINGLE DAY.

It's something that you WILL have to deal with when with him.

He will roam like the "loner" he is,but always stay true to you. He cares deeply. But he has scars. And if you're gentle enough to love him thru it. He's your man.

Once logan has your trust,should you ever acquire it. It's hard to break,but if it is broke. It's hard to repair too.

Especially if logan knows you well,he knows there's always more to things then you'd let off. He's not stupid.

Now he might not push you,but he's not gonna sit there and let you fester in your feels either.

Logan's solid. Stable(ish). And most importantly loyal. The only times the narritive says otherwise is if the writers self project onto him. Which unfortunately happens quite a lot. The best comics are the ones where he tells these hussies (GN) to fuck off. Especially if they are trying to sway,seduce,manipulate him. Especially when he's got someone,currently.

The real Logan would rather be alone than with bad company. And that's that honey.

But that aside. Logan's solid.

I should make more writing about wolverine probably. Maybe some hcs? If y'all would like that? If i got back into that stuff,i feel xmen is a good place to start back up. I like everyone there and i dont do non share in that fandom. So i don't mind mutual gushing as long as it's respectful of course!

It's okay to have disagreements with your f/o every now and then, it's part of every healthy relationship after all.

There's gonna be times where you and f/o think differently about something, where you might not understand each other, or where you accidentally hurt each other. But that is okay, because no one is perfect. If you need space to calm down first, your f/o would absolutely understand and give you some. Their arms are wide open for you to return whenever you are ready to discuss the issue.

Your f/o would be proud of you for speaking your mind even if they don't see things the same. Your f/o will create a safe space where you can talk and figure things out together in a calm and mature way. Eventually finding a solution you both feel comfortable with.

Even though these talks can be difficult, ultimately this too helps your bond to become stronger as you overcome these obstacles together. And each time you do, you grow a little closer.

Ok here is some self ship art that i did.

I have a new self ship. And i wanted to share.

It's toad(Mortimer Toinbee) from xmen/marvel. I redesigned him and did some hcs too. Snippets of the hcs and redesign and self ship art below.

Gave him have half braids/locs hair because i kinda get a punk,underground,early 2000s nu metal vibe from him.

He still is brittish and has a slight cockney accent.

Oh yeah he's bffs with fred dukes/blob. They kinda all went separate ways tho. And toad is now neutral,and turned over a new leaf and kinda made a name for himself on his own. Because also marvel refuses to give him character development. So i did.

If you can't see he has freckles too.

He's just a little guy,and he's cute and the sweetest. I don't make the rules. He needs more love. And I'm sick of them treating him wrong.
