Satan doesn’t get distracted. Or rather, he usually doesn’t get distracted.

When he sets his mind to something, he sees it through until the very end. Whether it’s applying to his academics or to his personal endeavors, he doesn’t give up into a solution is reached, or a conclusion that satisfies him enough.

But when he’s face deep into a book, you might as well be talking to a wall.

It’s so easy for him to get lost between the pages and in the words, so easy for him to succumb to the story (especially a murder mystery). It’s like nothing else exists- just him being absorbed into a new world. But after countless times of finding new creative ways to get his attention, you finally found an answer. A foolproof, successful solution that benefits you both.

You would always find Satan head first into a book, and you can see the gleam in his emerald eyes how much he’s enjoying it (something that makes you smile too). Sometimes you would admire him from the door before making your presence known. Sometimes you would find yourself in his lap reading it with him, arms wrapped around you, sometimes in a comfortable silence or with his voice softly reading aloud in your ear. You couldn’t hide the shiver sometimes when his breath hit your ear, and you could feel his chest rumble as he chuckled at your reaction.

But today, you will be the one laughing.

Satan could sit and read in his room forever- and it’s starting to not look like an exaggeration. So while he was once again engrossed in a new tale, you made your move.

You struck so quick that he didn’t know what hit him.

Tilting his book down a bit, he snapped his head up, ready to voice his annoyance and question what you’re doing. Before any words could leave his lips, you placed your own right at the tip of his nose, backing away with a smile.

Satan wasn’t as easy to fluster as others, but when he is- it is a sight to behold.

Seeing his eyes widened, him momentarily rendered speechless, the pink blush slowly spread across his cheeks and to his ears- it was both satisfying and heartwarming. But unfortunately, it didn’t last long.

You were soaking in his reaction before you felt arms wrap you and pull you forward, and you once again found yourself face to face with Satan. The tips of your noses brushed one another, and his eyes kept flickering from your own to your lips-

“I should be surprised at your little antics, but I’m not.” He starts, his thumb pulling at your bottom lip. “But you would be so cruel to leave me in a state like this? Without allowing me to return the favor?” He sounds offended, but the little smile spreading on his face says otherwise. “Now I can’t help myself-“ He murmured, leaning in and brushing his lips against yours.

Satan honestly loves the feel of your lips, whether it be on his own or anywhere else. And he loves to do the same to you. It became something special, something private like a kept secret between you both as time went on. It was something intimate to him now, something that he came to treasure. To feel a kiss on the tip of his nose was a reminder as it brought him back to reality.

Back to the reality that he has you.

Interrupted: The character walking in on you getting changed. 

Satan knew he was at fault in the situation.

His nose had been in his phone as he scrolled through the new Devilgram he found, dozens of pictures and videos of cats that stole his breath away. He had immediately gotten up to share the news of this discovery with you, his fellow cat appreciating connoisseur, but he had done so without thinking about the time of night it was. You often took your showers before any of the brothers as they all took way too long, especially Mammon. So at this time, you were freshly out of the shower, wrapped up in a towel in your room and thinking about what type of pajamas you wanted to throw on tonight.

Satan was completely unaware of this.

When he walked into your room without knocking, a rarity for him but that’s how you know he was distracted, you’re so startled you forget you’re stark naked. You stared at him with a curious gaze and he almost began his rant about the variety of cats available on the Devilgram, ranging from mystical black cats to mischievous tabbies. His entire thought process is halted when he looks up to see your reaction to his news of the discovery of yet another cat related media but he spots your bare shoulders first, his mouth opening then closing then opening again as he tried to think of the politest way out of this situation.

When you let out a little gasp, he knew your brain had also finally caught up to the situation at hand, embarrassed as you wrapped your towel around you even tighter (to Satan, it looked about as tight as it could be anyway but he was sure it was a protective action more than anything). He was going to apologize but realized he should probably stop gawking at you like some pervert, turning to leave your room and quickly closing the door behind him. He yelled out an apology just loud enough for you to hear but hopefully none of the other brothers were listening in, because he certainly wouldn’t live this down if they were.

Now how was he supposed to think about cats?
