A/n: In my defense, it took me a while to get back to Tumblr in general, because I actually went looking for a job, I started drawing again and school took up my time. That's why I'm taking advantage of this Sunday :> And this one ended up shorter than what I normally write because I didn't really know how to elaborate on this story.

I made a GN!Reader so I hope there is no problem, so much so that in the end the reader did not say any sentence and his gender/pronouns are not mentioned at any time.

Your night was peaceful… or at least it should have been, because FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

You just wanted a moment of peace, something simple, like resting next to Shinso and Monoma without having to listen to a barrage of endless arguments. But of course, Monoma didn't make it easy.

You love him, obviously, but like this... Yes, Monoma, we understand that you Class B people have the spotlight stolen constantly, now go to bed, tomorrow is another day with a new beginning.

"I'm telling you two! Shinso, it's completely unfair! Class A gets all the attention, while we in Class B are left out!" Monoma gestured exaggeratedly, wanting to strongly prove his point.

Shinso sighed, throwing his head back. "We've talked about this before." He replied without much enthusiasm or beating around the bush. "Several times."

You, sitting between the two, just watching the clash, the spectacle, happen again.

You had a wish and hoped that any cosmic entity and mercy would hear your prayers. Your wish? Simple and obvious: a little silence and affection. But asking for it directly? Hard to happen.

Not because you were embarrassed or anything, but because Monoma would continue to debate until the next era, and Shinso, even though bored, would still respond from time to time. This cycle was interesting at times, but it also sucked when you were tired.

But you wouldn't give up on this war, you wouldn't lose this time. They could have won several battles, but in the end you would be the one who would come out victorious in this war. Then, without warning, you decided to act. You pulled them both in one quick, forceful movement, and laid down on top of them, nestling between them without caring about their complaints.

"W-What?!" Monoma widened his eyes, clearly unprepared for the sudden attack and invasion of personal space.

Shinso blinked, but soon relaxed, accepting the change without question. "Finally, something useful." He muttered, running his fingers through your hair absently.

"H-hey, you can't just use us as a pillow to escape the conversation!" Monoma argued against it, but didn't move away. On the contrary, he looked a little hesitant, his cheeks flushed.

You mumbled something incomprehensible, probably telling him to shut up, only snuggling closer. Monoma opened his mouth to continue complaining, but decided against it. Sighing dramatically, he crossed his arms. "Hmf. That's unfair… but just this once."

Shinso smirked, running his fingers through his hair. "Great tactic. Totally effective." And finally, silence and coziness took over the moment. You could finally rest with your boyfriends.

The day had just begun for you, it's okay that you hadn't even gotten up from the mattress, the warmth of your blanket was so comfortable... And then someone starts poking your head with... Their foot???

"Hurry up! We're going to be late if you keep sleeping." A boy's voice tells you and in response you just summarize something about today being Saturday. "You've got to be kidding me... It's 7 AM ON A FRIDAY!"

The boy says to you and suddenly a snap in your head. It was Friday, and Friday means that there is still school, having school means no sleep until 9am.

"You finally woke up.. Good morning to you too" The boy says smiling. Not just any boy, but Suga, your best friend since you had changed schools about a year ago. You decided this as soon as you started talking to him for the first time.

You look at the clock on the dresser next to your friend's bed. 7:20am, you both had to leave at 7:45am to get to school.

You curse and quickly get up to start getting ready. Suga laughs at your desperation and goes to the kitchen to wait for you.

"How come it takes you so long to eat breakfast?" Your friend asks you, genuinely confused. You were walking to school together and you had been shoving a bread roll down your throat for 10 minutes.

"It's too early, my mouth is too slow to chew" You said as you chewed.

"Don't talk with your mouth full!" He scolds you with a smirk. "That's an excuse for your laziness, lazybones."

You let out a few "Hum, Hunfs!" as you chewed, indignant at such an accusation against you. You weren't lazy!

"But seriously, do we need to be walking so far ahead of him?" You say after chewing, looking back and seeing Kōshi, the oldest Sugawara, walking a little behind the two of you.

Your friend sighs a little. He feels a pang of guilt, not wanting to even look back.

"There comes a time in your life when your parents or older siblings taking you to school is embarrassing!" Suga says it as if it were the most obvious thing in the world to everyone. "I'm a grown-up now, I know how to go to school by myself."

"Oooh... I get it I guess" You didn't know if he remembered that you were only 7 years old, but you understood that he wasn't THAT little anymore, right? "Se você tá dizendo, quem sou eu pra questionar.."

It was hard to tell if you would feel the same way. Mom was working a lot lately and couldn't take you to school, but you always used to have a friend to go to school with you.

You loved the Sugawara brothers and didn't mind going to school with them, it was really cool actually!

"I can't stand having to wake up early and go to school anymore." You complain out loud when you realize that you are arriving at the school gate.

"You don't like waking up early in general, do you?" Suga says looking at you with a small smile.

Before you can disagree, you and he hear your friends calling out to you. The small frown on your face soon disappears and is replaced by a cheerful smile.

You and Suga give Kōshi a quick hug, who laughs at the quick little goodbye, and soon you're running towards your friends.

"The independence phase is definitely something.." Kōshi says and sighs, with a tired face, to himself before looking at his friends.

"Let me guess, your brother again?" Daichi says looking at the two younger boys far away from them.

"He's in the 'I'm too old for this' phase and since then he's been wanting to be more independent," Sugawara reflects a little on this. "But he's only 7 years old."

"He's probably doing it because he wants to impress his best friend," Asahi says with a slight laugh. "It's normal."

"You were just like him." Daichi laughs a little, remembering when they were younger. "The difference is that you were a little more sociable, but your independent phase was definitely something."

"Oh, that's right! There was that time in-" Asahi starts almost laughing.

"Okay okay okay! We don't need to keep going back to my past!" Sugawara complains, patting both of his friends on the back, who only laugh in response.

Soon the trio heads off to their own classes and lessons.

At the end of class you run out of the school gates excitedly, your friend running right behind you, laughing and saying that you were going to get hurt.

Kōshi wasn't waiting for the two of you alone, Asahi and Daichi were also beside him. You connect point A to point B in your head, and shout towards them "Surprise attack", jumping on Asahi, Suga doing the same to Daichi, the older Sugawara laughing at the situation.

You ride all the way to Kōshi's house on Asahi's back, insisting that this was the only way you could get to the house. His friend, on the other hand, was holding Kōshi's hand the entire way as he talked about what happened at school today.

"Today in kindergarten I got hit in the face with a ball!" The others laugh at how happily you say that.

"At least you're happy, but didn't that hurt?" Daichi asked a little worried, but a child falls, cries and in a few seconds he's back to normal, right?

"Yes! Because Suga is teaching me how to play volleyball, so I was able to catch almost all the balls!" You boast happily.

"Oh? He's teaching?" Kōshi looks at the younger Sugawara, who is embarrassed but quickly tries to hide it with a smug face.

"Obviously! We're going to be the best volleyball player in the universe." He says a little nervously, but convinced of his words, as if it were an undeniable fact.

"The best players?" Asahi asks curiously.

"No! The best player! Like a fusion of the Power Rangers." You explain obviously. "We can share first place together!"

"Ah, yes that makes sense." Both three agree with your... Reference.

"You'll see! In the future we'll be playing and you'll be watching us and cheering and..." You think of something else to complete your sentence.

"And dying of envy at how much bigger we're going to be than you, you're going to be very proud of us!" The younger Sugawara completes and you just agree with 'uhum! uhum!'.

The older trio laugh at your words, but they firmly agree and say that they will be the first fans of the two future players.

You soon complain when you realize that you're going to have to get off Asahi's back because you're already in front of Sugawara's house.

Soon you were standing on the floor, next to Suga, it was still afternoon and only now did you realize that Asahi and Daichi hadn't gone to their houses.

"We're going to go out and buy something and walk around a bit, I already told mom. Do you want me to buy something for you two?" Kōshi asks and you think for a bit.

"Marshmallow! Colorful marshmallow and ice cream" Suga says and you quickly agree. Tomorrow would be Saturday, you would be playing video games tonight and sleeping late tomorrow.

"Okay okay, if the money allows I'll buy you something to drink too. Behave yourselves." Kōshi tells you and ruffles both of your hair, you laugh and the younger Sugawara complains a little.

You both say goodbye to the trio, they soon begin to walk away, but before you actually enter the house Kōshi calls Suga.

"A little bird told me that if you look under my bed, you might, supposedly, find a volley ball." He says leaving the doubt in the air with a little smile, turning back and walking with his two friends.

You and Suga are confused for a few seconds, just standing at the door, but soon your heads work and you run inside the house after closing the door.

"But haven't you had that volley ball for about 5 or 6 years?" Asahi asks after noticing that the younger Sugawara didn't know about the volleyball.

"He would throw the ball everywhere when he was a baby, which led to some broken things. My gift was almost his, since he would start crying if someone caught the ball" Sugawara says sighing as he remembers that that ball had even been thrown into the toilet.

"I didn't know he liked playing volley too, he always said it was a bit boring every time he came to see it." Daichi said curiously.

"I didn't know about it either, but I think I already suspected it, whenever he can he'll watch it even though I've already said he finds it boring" Sugawara responds with a little laugh. "He's always been quiet and shy. But I'm so happy that he shares something he likes with someone he likes."

"He's pretty set on what he likes, so I think he'll actually play volley ball until he can't anymore," Asahi muses as they continue walking.

"They're both going to be good players in the future if they want to keep going." Daichi says, placing a hand on Sugawara's shoulder, who nods and smiles. His little brother, playing volleyball.

Needless to say, you and your friend played volleyball all afternoon. You ended up falling asleep after dinner.

"OH! Look there! They really came!" You say jumping and waving to some people in the stands.

You were waving more specifically to a trio sitting in the stands. A very excited Sugawara cheered along with Daichi and Asahi trying to calm the two down a bit. They were just giving encouraging words but everyone around was listening.

"Yeah.. I know, I noticed..." Suga says looking at the stands and nodding slightly to his brother.

"Why are you all shy now? You were almost bursting with the hope that they would come see the- Ow!" You suddenly get a pinch on your arm. "Why this out of nowhere? Don't tell me you're embarrassed? Huh? Suga? Huh?"

Suga starts to walk away from you, ignoring your provocations. The trio in the stands couldn't help but smile seeing the scene.

"I think no matter how much time passes, they will still be those two children that we saw grow up." Daichi sighs as he watches his team organize themselves for the match, Asahi and Sugawara are unable to say otherwise.

But if it’s something simple he’ll definitely go overboard with helping

He’ll try to carry you around if you falter for even a second

Sees it as his duty to be your protector which, to him, means addressing every little thing

You adjust your head slightly? He’s going to buy new pillows, but in the mean time he’ll just fluff this one

You tell him your cramps hurt? He needs to personally apply the heating pad and massage your stomach

Safe to say you have nothing to worry about with Ryoga around, except maybe suffocating

You and your friend were walking through the mall, you had gone to the cinema to see a movie he really wanted to see and then went to eat, which resulted in you walking for some time.

Honestly, you thought you would spend the day at home today, it was finally your day off for the week, but you're not complaining about any of that, you just didn't expect to have a Japanese guy at your door at 5pm on a Sunday.

“Let’s stop right here, otherwise we’ll spend half an hour just deciding where to eat.” He says as the two of you approach one of the tables in the food court. "Let me order and pay for the food."

You sit right there and turn to Daisuke. "You can order the same thing you order for me too, but I want the large portion of fries and a... Vanilla milkshake with dulce de leche." You explain what you want and Daisuke nods, soon moving away from the table where you were.

Quite a gentleman you would say.

Daisuke was that friend you could call to do anything and if he was free he would accept right away, It's no wonder that last week you and he were at the hospital because you asked him to go with you, but it was only you who was going to have a blood exam.

But you would say he was more frequent at your house than you were at his, probably because you lived alone now and he was still in the process of getting a job as far as you knew.

He was a little insecure and nervous when it came to the future and getting a job, but you knew he would get it, Daisuke is amazing even at what he's not good at.

"Earth calling, hello hello?" You wake up from your trance and realize that your friend and the food have arrived. "Are you okay? I thought about leaving you there to think and stealing some of your fries, but then you started staring too much at the kid at the other table."

"I was staring at someone and you didn't tell me right away?!" You feel embarrassed that you possibly stared into the soul of a random child. "And you were still going to steal my fries"

"No no no. I said I thought that, I didn't say I was actually going to do that, it was just a thought." He defends himself as he eats the burger he had ordered.

"Oh, sure, sure." You don't waste much time grumbling and start eating too.

Moments like these are the ones you always keep in your memory. You are not a person who takes pictures of the moments you go out with your friends, you prefer to enjoy yourself without stopping to take pictures, although sometimes you wish you had a memory of days like those.

Honestly, you didn't remember how you met Daisuke, you just know that you've known him for about 4 years. It doesn't matter, he saw you and decided that you would be his friend and it ended up working out.

(At least that's how he explained how you became friends)

Your vacation would be in about 3 weeks, you were thinking about taking a trip with your family and your friend's family. It wasn't a bad idea, his mother and his mother got along well after all.

"Remember that girl from our school? The one who sat behind you in class?" He asks after taking a sip of his milkshake.

"A red-haired girl?" You ask and Daisuke nods. "Yes, I remember, it's hard to forget that girl." You roll your eyes with a smile.

"So.." He pauses to chew and swallow the burger. "She got married last week."

You choke a little on your milkshake. "SHE got married?? Last week??"

You and he spend another 2 hours at the mall, talking and taking the opportunity to buy some things for yourselves. It was a quieter day than you expected, but those trips to the mall always left you sleepy afterwards.

The Uber parks right in front of your house and you both get out of the car after paying. You just want to relax now and have some peace for the night.

After passing through and locking the door, you throw yourself onto the couch along with the shopping bag you were holding.

"You get tired really quickly, you know?" Daisuke says with a disapproving look. "I think I'll go home, it's a little late."

"Aaahh, I already locked the door now, just tell your mom that you're going to sleep here tonight" You say simply as you settle into the couch, stretching a little.

"Sleeping here tonight... You make dinner then, I'll call her now" He says as he goes to a corner of the house where he can't hear the future noise of the pots.

Honestly, you didn't know how he was still hungry, but you didn't complain. Maybe Stroganoff with rice and straw potatoes would be good for dinner today.

Now you two were having dinner on the couch, watching a random movie while chatting a little about anything. You decided to tell him what you were thinking about for your work vacation.

"My vacation is in 3 weeks and I was thinking about going to the beach together, you know? My family and yours. It's been a while since we've all been out together."

And then there was silence, except for the noise of the movie playing on the TV. You didn't know why it was so silent, but you didn't like it.

"... I got accepted into a job." He says with a little trepidation, but direct.

"Oh.. That's actually good!" You feel relieved and you laugh, you weren't expecting that. "I'm happy for you! We can go to the beach when you have time off or vacation then!"

"That's the problem.. I'm going to be gone for a whole year and maybe a little longer sometimes." And then his smile fades and his expression of relief disappears as well. "It's a company that transports cargo in... Space, Pony Express if I'm not mistaken"

It was a small thing, but that small thing is huge. You think you've heard about this company at some point in your life, but you weren't sure.

These things were quite common nowadays, so it wouldn't be hard for you not to have heard of some of these companies... or corporations?? I don't know, you don't care so much about the right way to call it.

"Oh.. That... That's new.." You say trying to process and organize the information. "That's great! I'm happy for you!" You say a little more excitedly, placing your now empty plate of food beside you.

"Yeah hehe.. Thanks" He says a little embarrassed and also puts the plate aside.

"Among the stars up there, is it?" You say thoughtfully. "When you get back, you'll tell me what it's like up there."

"Of course I will, but I don't know what could be so cool about a dark place with lots of white dots" Daisuke says genuinely confused.

"Oh, I think it's cool, I don't know what could be really cool either, but I like the idea!" You say feeling slightly attacked.

"If you say so" He laughs and rolls his eyes.

That night you asked (forced) your friend to wash the dishes while you pulled the mattress from your bedroom to the living room. Daisuke moves around a lot sometimes when he's sleeping, so letting him sleep on the couch wouldn't be the best idea, so you're the one who's going to sleep on the couch and he's going to sleep on the mattress on the floor.

"I wish I could sleep all day tomorrow.." You complain after throwing yourself on the couch, your pillow and blanket already on it.

"You're really lazy sometimes, you know that? But this time I'll take it off because you work." He throws a pillow in your face and laughs.

"You'll start to understand me when you start working." You reciprocate by throwing the pillow at him now. "Although it might even be peaceful in space" On reflection you can't find a right answer, but you were more inclined to believe that it would be peaceful and quiet.

"I don't even want to think about it too much, I start in two days" He mumbles and yawns, turning to the other side to soon fall asleep.

"And then I'm the lazy one who gets tired quickly. Soon you'll see what it's like to be really tired." You say as you look at your friend lying on the mattress, yawning soon after.

"There's no way I could be as lazy as you." He says in a loud whisper.

"Yes yes.. Just don't forget about me while you work there" Your tone changes from playful to more sincere. Being away from your best friend for so long is weird. You don't like it.

"You know that this is humanly impossible. I should be the one telling you this! Now lay your head down and go to sleep." He complains before he actually starts to fall asleep. You just laugh and agree, falling asleep too.

In the morning he went home after having coffee at his house. Daisuke explained to you that the next day he would be heading to work and that he would miss you, he hugged you, he cried a little.

Your friend might be a crybaby at times, but you wouldn't expect your eyes to water afterwards.

You remember it as if it were today, the day you said goodbye, you just didn't know it would be forever. You regret not having enjoyed that day more.

It had been 6 years since Tulpar, the ship Daisuke was on, had embarked into space, and today it had been 2 years since the ship had been found.

Only the captain was alive, the rest of the crew dead. It was reported how the crew had died, but nothing shown, obviously.

Daisuke's face had an axe cut mark in the middle of his face, his body had some serious injuries. That's what was said about it.

You regret not telling him how you felt.

Being away from Daisuke for so long was weird. You didn't like it.

A/n: I disappeared but I'm back. I finished school and I'm officially on vacation 😋. I had another idea initially, but then I gave up writing to Curly with that one.🎀 Tell me if I wrote something wrong, English is not my first language and I use a translator a lot.

I wanted a story with a happy ending, although it wasn't supposed to end 100% like that 😭

Summary/Synopsis: You hate being emotionally raw and your husband has been acting strange lately.

Notes: I wrote this with a happy ending, but in situations like this stress can actually be very dangerous, so be careful if you are going to do this to someone or if you are the person to receive this one day.

You were uncomfortable, to say the least.

It had been seconds, minutes, HOURS, since he had answered you, he avoided you whenever he could! The worst part is that you don't know the reason for all this, even though you told him to tell you when something was bothering him.

He's been acting kind of strange since yesterday. It seemed like you were the only one who was out of touch with all that nervousness and discomfort.

You had been a bit paranoid for some time now, because of these attitudes you didn't know if you had done something and it was eating you alive.

Searching through all your memories and finding nothing you realize you did wrong. Maybe he just got tired?

"I did everything like I always did..." You were rambling on to yourself. Maybe you said something wrong? You know very well that words, no matter how simple they are sometimes, can hurt.

This was all giving you a huge headache and leaving you a mess of emotions. You were just too exhausted.

You were out of the house now, on your lunch break from work, messing around on your phone for a few minutes, more specifically texting your husband, hoping he would answer you like he always did.

He didn't answer you properly, the messages were short and seemed more direct than ever, your husband didn't write and talk to you like that. God, you just wanted to go home.

"You've got that look on your face again." You hear your co-worker, Linda, say and let out a sigh. "What happened now?"

"This is the fourth time we've seen you with that sad, sullen puppy face in the space of 15 minutes," her other friend, Charlotte, says..

"Do you think I'm old?" You ask suddenly.

"What happened to 'Hi friend, I missed you too'? It doesn't exist anymore?" The first woman says.

"Exactly, calm down. You're not old, you're perfect for your age. And old age comes to everyone! It's inevitable." The second friend explains with a raised eyebrow.

"But now it's so different... When we met I was different, my hair, my body... My age..."

"Girl, seriously, what happened? You haven't had these low self-esteem spikes in months, you were so happy" Charlotte says with a sad tone, sitting down next to you.

"That's the problem, I don't know what happened... Since yesterday Curly has been acting a bit strange, avoiding me and being vague at times, but at the same time he's been very short and direct." You think about what your morning had been like that day.

"Oh my, don't be like that, men are a mess all by themselves. I'm not going to put ideas in your head, but let us know if you need help with that." Linda says, running her hand over your back.

"You're still as beautiful as the day you met, so don't worry. If he's going blind and can't see it, take the trash out of your house before it starts stinking up the whole house" Charlotte says, making it clear what she originally meant.

"I just don't know if something happened and he didn't tell me, if I did something and he was uncomfortable..." You love your husband with all your heart, otherwise you wouldn't have married him.

"Girl, put your cards on the table and that man against the wall, if something is going on he will tell you, he is not a lying man" Charlotte advises you in a lighter way now.

"She's right, you have to talk to him, but really talk to him. Just starting a conversation with him won't make him tell you anything... Ask what's going on and if everything is okay." Linda hugs you affectionately. Honestly, maybe this stress is just in your head? You don't know.

"Okay okay, but I'll do it after work, there's still a few more hours until it's time to leave." Grumbling you and your friends get up, heading towards the door while talking about anything now.

You don't know what you would do without them.

Hours had passed since that conversation, it was already getting dark and you were driving home almost completely peacefully.

Being with your friends relieved you a lot, but you still had a little bit of a nagging feeling, not to mention that you also knew that life is not a strawberry and anything can happen.

You were together for 11 years, dating for 4 years and married for 7 years. There was no reason for it all to go down the drain. At least you told yourself that.

You had texted him earlier, saying you were going home now... He hadn't even seen the message, but that's okay! Sometimes he's just busy with... Anything, you think.

Parking the car, you sigh, You hated feeling as tired as you had been feeling lately, you wish you could enjoy some of your time at home instead of just passing out in bed. On the bright side, you were on vacation from your job in 2 days. Just two more days.

Today you would confront him! You would know what was going on with him lately and everything would be okay! Everything has to be okay.

You open the door to the living room and notice the loud silence, seeping through your entire house. You didn't have a good feeling about this..

"Curly? Love?" You call out as you walk through the door and into the room, feeling a little anxious.

You turn to the kitchen and then–

"SURPRISE!" Some voices say/scream at the same time, scaring you at first, but then you notice the cake on the table, balloons, birthday hats, coxinha and other things on the table.

A wave of relief washes over you.

It was your birthday today.

"Happy birthday my love, you don't know how much- Wow, hey, hey! What happened? Why are you crying?" Your husband's cheerful tone soon fades, quickly replaced by a tone of concern.

You hadn't even realized that the wave of relief had brought you to tears, you were crying.

Did something happen? Is she okay?" Anya, Curly's work friend and maid of honor at your wedding a few years ago, asks worriedly, approaching.

"Honey, is something hurting?! Do you need anything? Anything at all? Do you need to go to the hospital?" He was quick to come closer, putting his arms around you as he checked your body with his tender and concerned gaze. God, this was all you wanted.

You try to explain, through your tears, that you're okay, that everything is okay now.

"I thought-" You stop to sniff a few times "I thought you were mad at me. Acting different and distant."

"I told you you sounded thick, but it's amazing how your head doesn't work sometimes." You hear Swansea's voice and let out a laugh through your tears.

"I'm so happy that everything is okay and that you're not mad at me." You explain as you wipe away your tears, soon feeling Curly's hand on your cheek while the other rests on your waist.

"I'm sorry my love, I would never be mad or upset with you, a thousand apologies darling" He says as he peppers your face with kisses, apologizing several times. "Please, I'm so sorry"

"We told him to hide it and not tell you or give you any hints about your surprise party and such, since last time he ended up telling you... But I think asking him to disguise himself wasn't... the best idea" Daisuke says as he analyzes the situation with a disappointed face.

You laugh a little and soon they join you, then a small silence arises, but it is quickly broken.

"So?" Swansea begins

""Is everything okay in there?" Anya asks, looking at you calmly and with a little concern. "Are you feeling any pain?"

"How are you and she?" Daisuke asks in the most direct way.

You sniff one last time and look down, running your hand over your belly.

"I will never make you cry like that again." He finishes with a peck on the lips and runs his hand over your belly. "I will never worry the two girls in my life again. I promise"

You look at him fondly. "We're fine, we just went through a hurricane today and yesterday." You laugh lightly. "Now let's eat this cake, I'm hungry for two."

The others laugh at your answer and soon everyone gathers around the table to celebrate your birthday.

You really hope you never have to go through that worry again, not even Curly would do it again.

You have the most caring husband and your daughter would have the best dad.
