God’s Abomination: Godzilla Phase 6 (Super Godzilla)
I’m sure you saw this coming from a mile away… I bet you didn’t think of it the way I did it though! Phase 6 of Godzilla’s transformation has been both an exciting building point, but at the same time, a scary undertaking. In the beginning, some of my circle told me that the wings were too much, or the divinity was hard to understand.
This was always the plan. Godzilla gaining God’s power and becoming GODzilla. I made him cosmic over just flat purple and green, but the spike shoulders are here.
Let me know what you think. Did I surprise you? Did you know phase 6 was going to be Super?
We’re firmly on our way to the ending.
Here's the gallery: https://www.deviantart.com/roradraws/gallery/90614291/god-s-abomination-godzilla-redesign-series
Lore beneath the cut:
Godzilla was bathed in light as the sun that made Mhithre’s head flickered into nothingness. Then the darkness flooded back. The stars above vanished as the veil tore away, then silence.
Godzilla opened his eyes finally, the light having slipped away into the dark. He huffed before he turned, realizing he was not on solid ground. Then, planet Earth came into view. He was in space, high above the planet he knew as his home. There was a pull on him, slowly he was moving towards the planet before he started gaining speed, then the heat built on his body as he re-entered the atmosphere.
He roared, snapping at the air as the planet fought to incinerate him like it would a meteorite, but he kept falling. His body billowed with smoke as he careened towards Moscow Russia, the biting cold of the winter doing nothing to cool the heat he was surrounded by.
He was going to cause an earthquake that would most likely shift the planet’s axis if he didn’t stop his fall. But how could he? He was falling. And Mothra was nowhere to be found. He cried out for her, warping the sky before realizing it was too late.
Godzilla braced himself, coiling into a ring before a boom sounded through the sky, shaking the atoms in the air.
The smoke vanished in an instant as his body came back into view. He was iridescent, stars swirled beneath his skin, his shoulders were adorned with spikes and his dorsal plates were chunkier with spines around the edges.
A light burned above his head and before he hit the ground, there was a flash that emanated from the orb over him. Light tendrils infused with the cosmos stretched out at his back and he banked upwards. He soared skyward, the tendrils acting as a set of wings.
He looked over his shoulder at the strings of light before he roared and flew into the clouds. He spun into a barrel roll and breached the cotton layer like a whale from the depths. He slowed his momentum and hovered over the planet, the clouds around him having dissipated with his sheer speed.
Godzilla looked down at the blues and greens, his eyes glowing with a cosmic knowledge that he hadn’t possessed before. He glanced to the side and noticed something was headed towards him, something blue and something striped with black and orange.
It was Mothra and Solomon.
The duo halted themselves as they arrived close enough to discern what they were looking at. Mothra was unable to speak, the shock of seeing her once Earthbound ally now flying was evident.
Solomon spoke, “Mothra, if he is listening, can you ask him what happened?”
Before Mothra could respond, Godzilla looked over at Solomon and nodded, “My eyes are now open.”
Both Solomon and Mothra were awestruck. Godzilla was sapient. And on top of that, he was able to communicate with them both.
Godzilla turned in the air, looking down at the planet again before growling, “Mhithre, our creator, blessed me with his final word.”
Solomon blinked before answering him, “What… What did he say?”
Godzilla clenched his fist and snarled, “Do his will.”
As he finished his sentence, he reached into the sun over his head. The divinity swirled with colors never before seen by human eyes, let alone monstrous ones. He pulled out a blade made of light and divinity, swinging it to the side as he prepared to fly.
“I must find Iuvegda. Once he’s gone, I can focus on Ghidorah’s arrival,” He looked at Mothra and Solomon. “Prepare the others. A threat unlike any other is soon to arrive. We can’t let him catch us off guard…”
With that, he shot towards the planet. He swung the sword, carving open the paradoxical veil to Limbo that would allow him to access Hell.
It was time.

Spring Petals - Oneshot
Tumblr media
Pink petals flew about in the breeze as Anguirus smiled, laying beneath a unnaturally large blossom tree. He and many other monsters on the island enjoyed it to no end.
Some days, they'd all make a game of seeing who could collect the most petals. But today, he and Godzilla only rested beneath it all, taking in everything.
The warmth of the sun, the cool breeze, the faint scent of the flowers, and the company of one another. It was all they needed today.
Just as Anguirus felt himself drifting off, a sigh from Godzilla awoke him. Opening an eye, his friend was staring up at the branches.
"Goji?" The King of the monsters turned to him, "You doing okay, bud?"
Godzilla chuckled, "Why wouldn't I be okay?"
"You just looked kinda sad, is all."
"I do?" Godzilla gave him a confused look, then smiled, "Nah. I'm just thinking of what we could do once it get warmer."
Anguirus' head perked up,"Ooh! Like what?"
Summertime was usually the favorite season of many monsters on the island, especially Rodan. Every year, they'd test who could make a lap around the island fastest, or see who could catch the most- or largest- fish, and many other made-up games.
It would almost make the occasional researchers forget they were capable of ending the world if they wished. Almost.
Godzilla's tail flicked as he thought. "Hmm... I like the things we usually do. But I want to do something new this year."
"Like what?"
"Do you think there are any giant shells out there? Mothra's told me the Shobijin like small seashells, and make crafts with them."
"Sorry man, I think giant shells are pretty rare nowadays!"
"Darn..."
"We could collect treasures from the ocean, though! Like those underwater contraptions that look funny!"
"That could work! But... can you hold your breath long enough to do that?"
"Uh... shoot. Still gotta work on that..."
Anguirus looked across the island before him for a moment, thinking.
What else could they do...
Then his gaze soon traveled to the skies.
"Goji? You think Gigan or that robot fake of you will ever come back?"
He shook his head, "They never leave for very long- no doubt about it. Why?"
"So we could get some sweet revenge on them!" He gave a big, toothy smile, "For messing up my jaw, and slicing you open that one time! It'll be so awesome, they'll never wanna bother us again!"
"Mechanical bastards... Why is it always the man-made ones who are the most brutal?" Part of him secretly feared of what people could truly create, and if it could ever be the end of him.
"No clue, bud. No clue... But hey, maybe we could kick that mecha fake-zilla's head around like those boulders you like playing with!"
Godzilla burst into laughter, "Ha! That, that would be amazing! We could get Rodan in on it, too!"
"And Mothra! She wants to give it a go, too! Said she wanted to knock him into thr stratosphere- score a 'home run', whatever that means!"
Godzilla's laughter grew loud enough to shake the highest mountains now, his stomach began to ache.
"Hahahahaha- Where does she come up with this stuff?!" He clutched his sides, wheezing as tears pricked his eyes.
"Y'know, for someone so nice, she can come up with some very creative threats... Did Battra get that from her, or did she get it from him?"
"Oh my stars, what if he got it from her?!" Godzilla was now doubled over and barely breathing from how hard he was laughing.
"That'd be pretty great!" Anguirus patted Godzilla's back as he began coughing, "Whoa, whoa- breathe, buddy... Can't have you leaving us already..."
He coughed out one more fit of laughter before he leaned back against the tree, deep breaths bringing him back. "Oh boy... haven't laughed like that in a while...!"
"You okay now?"
He took another breath, wiping away some tears, "Yeah, I'm good now. I'm alright now."
"Good..." Anguirus sighed, "But we really should get some revenge on those guys! If they ever come back looking for trouble!"
"Don't worry, we'll be sure to give em Hell!"
"Yeah! Make em pay for everything!"
Both of them roared to the skies, bursting into laughter once again.
"Don't worry, I'll let you throw me around like a mace to kick their tails!"
"Angy, stop- stop, my stomach already hurts..!"
"Alright, alright, I'll cut it out." He leaned against Godzilla's side, wrapping his tail around the king. His bestest friend, the one he loved more than anything.
"Uh... Angy?" Godzilla's voice was now unusually quiet and gentle.
"Yeah? What's up?"
He felt Godzilla lean back against him, resting his head on top of his, feeling warmer than the spring air. He looked down at all of the scars that covered his friend, the one who'd fought alongside him countless times.
"Y'know, there's something I've always wanted to tell you..."
"Yeah? What is it?" Nervousness now began to pool in his stomach. Was it something terrible? It couldn't possibly be.
The king of the monsters looked up at the falling petals, catching some in his claws and watching them blow away in the wind. The faraway birdsong put his soul at ease enough to speak after a deep breath.
"Thank you, thanks a ton."
"Huh?" Anguirus tilted his head in confusion, stray petals fell from his horns. "Thanks? For what? Hangin' out with you?"
"I mean... For all of this," he gestured to the both of them, "For spending time with me, for talking through our troubles and joking around about dumb stuff! For always being by my side and fighting for our home together! I mean, we-"
"We kicked Ghidorah's tails last week?"
"Exactly! You're the one who sent him packing back to the stars he came from! How amazing is that? And you've got the scars to show it!"
"Heheh, yeah! I think that's pretty cool!"
"How about that time I was sick, and you went and pummeled Destoroyah of all monsters into the dirt- oh, and teamed up with the human army to do it?!"
Anguirus felt his face becoming warmer, "Aww really, it's nothin' Goji! But I really did show him what for..!"
Godzilla took a breath, smiling at Anguirus, who had a giant smile across his face. "I really couldn't have asked for a more amazing friend. So... thank you, Anguirus. For everything."
He nuzzled his head against Anguirus', who did the same back. The ankylosaur let himself fully relax against the king, letting out a gentle sigh...
"You're welcome, Goji... You're very, very welcome. I love you too, buddy. I love you to the sun and back..."
A gentle hum soon left Godzilla's snout as he leaned back against the tree, humming a tune made up on the spot.
After a while, Anguirus began to hum along as well, catching the flowers that fell from above. Slowly, he collected more and more flowers, weaving them into loose crowns.
Both monsters smiled as the cool breeze sent petals flying skyward once more, just relaxing in one another's presence. It was all they truly needed now.
No more fighting, or battle scars, or taking down man-made weapons, just... peace.

God’s Abomination: God (Mhithre)
An entire year of God’s Abomination. Lots of lessons learned, lots of theories heard. Lots of people asking where the hell God is and why he’s letting this shit happen. I have the answer. And you’re not going to like it. I wanted to make Mhithre look like it makes sense why Godzilla ended up looking the way he did. Only, far more eldritch. Before I changed Ghidorah to originally be a thousand headed hydra, there was supposed to be a theme of 3’s with the original deities.
Ghidorah has three heads, Mhithre has 3 limbs that cradle his divinity and Iuvegda has 3 parts that make up his divinity (the two points of the broken halo and his eclipsed sun).
The gallery can be found here: https://www.deviantart.com/roradraws/gallery/90614291/god-s-abomination-godzilla-redesign-series
Or by searching the #god'sabomination tag
Lore under the cut:
After RED’s defeat, Rodan was badly damaged during his fight with the hellbeast. His near death experience prompted Mothra and Battra to bring him to Kong’s realm so he could heal uninterrupted. While there, Kong pointed out to Mothra that they could find the god of their universe by following the leylines.
Godzilla and Mothra followed Kong’s instructions and a quest to locate the hidden leyline that hid Mhithre from mankind began.
They searched each paradoxical veil, each interdimensional thread that wove in and out of their universe. Eventually, Godzilla found it.
The leyline was a deep gold. Godzilla didn’t know what to do now that he’d found it, and before Mothra could locate him to see his discovery, he was pulled into it.
Godzilla was compressed into a line as thin as a microbial life form while he was pulled into the divine domain that waited on the other side of the leyline. When he collapsed onto the cosmic plane, he was dazed and confused.
Slowly, he stood, each step made the ground beneath him undulate and pulse with cosmic light. He looked around, seeing that this realm was like the one he’d met Iuvegda in, but this one was like an oasis, rather than a desert. Massive eldritch trees spiraled upwards, foliage that bent the mind just to witness as their leaves and stems rippled with fractals and chromatic abnormalities.
He approached the mountain that stood high above the realm, before he stopped, realizing it was not a mountain he was seeing. The thing was huge as it loomed in the distance, before the cradled sunlight between its three tendrils started to burn brighter.
Then, the mountain stood. It was Mhithre. The being turned, and even if Godzilla couldn’t discern a face or eyes, he could tell it was looking at him.
He planted his feet, taking a defensive stance, ready for anything. The eldritch being took a single step and was within range of Godzilla in an instant. It peered down at the king before it took a knee. As it bent down to look at Godzilla clearer, the king could see energy lines that were stretching out from the burning light inside of the three tendrils.
Godzilla remained still, unsure if he was going to have to defend himself like he did while in Hell. For a long moment in time, even if time meant nothing in this realm, the two stared at each other.
Finally, it spoke, “Golm’qa, my child. You found me.” The voice was old, impossible to describe in words. It somehow was spoken in every language and even in rumblings that were so foreign that they shook the atoms in the air.
Godzilla heard the name that the being spoke and something in his DNA triggered a memory that had long been lost. He remembered being under water, trying to find his lost pod. No matter how many times he called out, none of his family called back.
As he swam aimlessly through the water, a bright light had caught his attention. It was a nuclear missile that was careening towards the belt of islands he’d drifted near. Before he had a chance to recognize the danger it posed to him, the detonation occurred.
He felt his body burn, even under the once cool waters. Boils, bloated flesh, his very genetic makeup slowly unraveling as the atomic radiation bombarded him over and over again. Once again, he cried out, but no one answered him. As the atomic flames and radiation pelted the surrounding area, he succumbed to his injuries and drifted to the surface.
Before he could expire completely, something passed over him. At the time that he’d seen it, he couldn’t comprehend what it was. But now while the memory was unfolding before him, he could see it clearly. The thing that passed over him was a hand. A large clawed hand that swiped across his mutating form.
It was Mhithre. He cradled the mutant in his palm as the heat and radiation settled within his form. He comforted the creature, until the radiation storms began. He placed the injured, mutated animal back down into the crater that was created by the detonation.
Godzilla closed his eyes before he shook his head, looking up at Mhithre and growling. Not quite an aggressive or angry noise… But it was clear that the memory caused him anguish.
The eldritch being uncoiled the limbs around the burning sun that made what appeared to be his head, “Forgive me, child. I did not want to cause you pain, I did not want to let you suffer. But you were my only hope.” He dipped his massive hand low and dragged his palm across the space above Godzilla, creating a glass overhang.
“I have waited here for billions of years. I’ve watched species rise and fall. Kingdoms built and crumbled to dust. Deserving and innocent lives lost. Because I couldn’t take away their choice, their will to survive. And I stayed here, rather than fleeing further into the cosmos from Ghidorah. I remained here with my brother, holding onto hope that Ghidorah would stop searching for us,” He continued to build around Godzilla, his voice growing heavy.
He pulled a long prod from thin air, topping the structure he was building. Godzilla stepped out of it and walked a little ways before turning around to look at it. Mhithre had built the shape of a whale. The same whale that Godzilla had been before the mutation.
Godzilla huffed, visibly distraught over seeing something that he recognized, bone deep in his very being. “I tried, I really did Golm’qa,” Mhithre said as he looked back at Godzilla, “It is with great sorrow that I tell you why you’re really here.”
The eldritch being lifted its head skyward, looking up at the impossibly high skyline of this plane of existence, the energy tendrils still pulsing as they led down into the sun that floated above Mhithre’s torso. “I am dying,” His voice was tinged with regret as he continued, “I’ve stood here, using my divinity to hold the veil up, to keep this part of the solar system hidden from him. My brother infected my soul, he wished to take my divinity once I’m gone.”
His body, which had already been pulsing in a slow rhythmic fashion, started pulsing faster now. “So rather than waiting for myself to expire, rather than letting my brother’s poison take me away from you-” He lowered and spoke to Godzilla softly as to not harm him with his once booming voice, “I want you to take the rest from me. I want you to finish what I could not.”
Godzilla moved closer, having figured out that Mhithre didn’t want to harm him. He pressed his snout against the nearest limb, easily dwarfed by it, but the contact comforted him.
“I’ve heard what the humans called you. A monster. A scourge. An abomination,” He stood then, rising to his full height as he peered down at his creation, his back spines starting to light up just as Godzilla’s would when he used his beam.
“But you are so much more than that,” He seemed to let out a sigh as he allowed the limbs around the sun to fall limp around his torso, “Take my gift. Save this universe. Do my will.” With that, he fired his beam down at Godzilla.
Godzilla roared as the beam of light engulfed him, vanishing within it while the area around him was pelted with divine energy. The sun grew smaller and smaller as the beam was fired, before finally flickering out of existence. The energy tendrils snapped upwards when their anchor was removed.
Then, the veil of black and stars high above, ripped open.
Somewhere in the depths of the cosmos, three red lights turned and looked in the direction of Earth. Then a cackle shook the cosmic depths, followed by another, and then another.
