Amazingly, even though I haven't been active here or on my roleplay blog for so long, I've gained more followers than I had before! Not sure why you all have followed me but thank you and I love you! Lancelot wandered through the castle, on a break from guarding the walls. He had heard there was someone visiting that Arthur had just met with, but he hadn't had time to ask who it was. Not that he would necessarily know even if he was told - he wasn't particularly familiar with dignitaries and royalty and the other sorts of people that would get an audience with the king.

Recently, I have been getting several people wanting to roleplay.

  I don't know where all you lovely people have come from, but I do love to roleplay! However, I have decided that I would like to make a separate roleplay blog, and leave this ask blog focused on asks. 8)

Hello, Tumblr! My comic needs your help!

No, I don’t need money (not yet)… I need an artist!

I am the writer of Superneutrals, a superhero webcomic that I have written the first chapter for but currently have no one to draw or color it. If you go to the site, you can see that I have started posting Blackout: Origin, a prequel to the main story. Two wonderful friends of mine helped me start it, but then both got pretty busy and while I would like for them to at least be able to finish the origin once they have time again, they have a lot going on including their own creative projects so I don’t want to bother them with anything past the Origin.

The problem is, I have no money to hire an artist. I pretty much have no way of repaying anyone. All I can offer is a story with characters I love, a comic I will never abandon writing, and after I’ve completed a couple of story arcs that I’ve had planned for a while, you can put your own characters in the world (it’ll kind of turn into a roleplay I guess). If the comic gets popular enough, maybe you’ll even be able to sell commissions/prints and get more fans of your work so you will indirectly be paid back for your contribution to the comic.

It would be ideal to have a penciller, an inker, and a colorist, but as you can see from Origin I’m happy with just a penciller and a colorist, and if one person feels they’re up to do both that’s fine with me. I’d like to have a page a week done. The penciller would have to send me each page sketched out so that I can make sure nothing major was left out or maybe suggest minor additions, and generally I like the artists to be free with their creativity (I’m not that great with designs and such, as you can probably tell by the banner I made).

Like I said, I have the first chapter written out, and I can send you a preview if you’d like to see what my writing’s like. If you’re interested, message me on Tumblr and I’ll send you my e-mail so you can send me examples of your art.

I’m sorry I have little to offer, but I do have a strong passion for Superneutrals. It’s been my dream to write a superhero comic for a long time, and now that I’ve started I won’t let my dream die. I hope I can find an artist or two that will end up sharing my enthusiasm so much so that they won’t mind me not being able to repay them properly.
