Have you ever had one of those days where as soon as you wake up there’s like a cloud about your head and you just know that your gonna feel depressed for the next couple of days And you just want to sleep but your mind wont let you and everything seems way harder than they were the day before and all of your limbs feel stiff and you know that you have responsibilities but even the thought of getting out of bed makes you want to stay there longer That’s how I feel right now and I fucking hate it

My friends keep asking me to go swimming with them but I keep saying that I don’t like swimming (even tho I love it) because of my stupid scars, I hate it because I can’t wear shorts or go swimming anymore because everyone stares at me and I’m worried that someone will mention them

i get you. remember not to be ashamed of the way you tried to battle your sadness, your scars do not represent you as a person, they just represent a bad time, and if anybody says something bad about them - you know they’re not worth keeping as a friend. the only reason you should have to hide them is if you do not feel safe. my family would attack me if they saw mine, find out their view points before you reveal them. you may be surprised. you’re beautiful though, your scars don’t change that in any way. don’t forget that.
